Hi, I work full time in Agriculture and am making the move to Ballarat to start a new role. Im originally from Sydney but have spent the last few months living and working in Rural North Queensland. I'm friendly, tidy and fairly social but don't know many people in Ballarat yet so will be hoping to meet some new people. In my free time i like keeping pretty active and cooking and am pretty handy in the garden. A furnished room would be ideal :)
Hello! I'm a full-time urban planner - work is taking me to Ballarat in September. I'm house trained/clean up after myself, love cooking and gardening, and own lots of thriving houseplants that will be relocating with me. I keep active swimming and on the bike, and would love to find something creative like pottery or woodworking classes to get involved in after the move. I'm looking to live with interesting easy going housemates somewhere close to town. Ideally would love to find a place with rent below the $150 mark. Shoot me a message if you have a place available and reckon we might get along.
I'm looking for a short term stay in the Ballarat area 4 nights a week for a few months, preferably within walking distance to the schools on Sturt Street. As a Y11 student I'm studying in Ballarat, and currently travelling from Melbourne to Ballarat on weekdays for school. I am neat and tidy, easy going, reliable and cheerful (most of the time... :P)
the home is very big and open is has 4 bedrooms 2 bath rooms 2 livening arias out door dinning it close to public transport and shopping center its in a very quite part of town and the home is only 3 years old the room i am looking to rent out is fully furnished like the rest of the home so no need to bring furniture with you because you will not need it
I'm respectful, neat and friendly. I'm looking for a quiet and laid-back sharehouse. I work in the heritage sector. I like to have a chat and laugh with my housemates but also respect personal space. I enjoy the outdoors, going to gym, movies, music and TV.
Oh hi! Now that I have your attention, I'm a 28-year-old male journalist working in Melbourne, but moving to Ballarat at the end of July/early August. I'm open to living either near the CBD (as that's where I'll be working), in the surrounding suburbs, or out of town if there's a good fit. A bit about me: I'm a 28-year-old male journalist currently working in Mildura (but living in Melbourne). I'm quite relaxed and easy going, friendly with people from all walks of life, a tidy and neat-conscious person, well aware of other people's space, and most of all I love an adventure. I'm a bit of a sports nerd, love being active in social sport teams (anything from footy, to basketball to lacrosse to tennis or cycling). I also take a lot of photos (not the selfie kind) as that's my other passion outside of work. I'm also big on going to gigs across a lot of different genres, especially punk. I also love all animals so if you have a pet, then that's a bonus! So overall I like to adapt to things. I have a lot of existing items including my own bed, couch, TV, kitchen items, etc. So I'm pretty self suffiicient in terms of furnishings. Having said that, if there's a furnished house or flat that's always a bonus. My budget is about a maximum of $200 per week, but could be flexible if rent included internet, foxtel, gas, electricity, water, etc were added in. I'm originally from Albury, then Hobart, now Melbourne, so I've gotten used to moving recently, but really just hoping to settle in Ballarat at the right place! If you think I'm the right for your place, I'd love to know more about you, and the surroundings, and any pictures you have. Thank you.
Fantastic location to get around Ballarat. Walking distance to the train station, Regional and local bus terminal, City Central . Lake Wendouree and Hospitals are walking distance, or a lovely bike ride. Easy access to freeways in all directions for Regional Victoria or Melbourne. Close to local pubs and cafes spotted around the streets. Heritage listed area which feels safe. Lovely light filled room that can come with a chiropractic double mattress and bed if required, more than happy to dismantle. House filled with furnishings. Two living spaces if you feel like hanging on your own, but not in your bedroom. Shared bathroom with separate toilet. Great size kitchen with dishwasher, gas stove and oven. Great heating! Sorry no more pets.
Hello, I'm Reegan. Since the age of 18 I have been living in sharehouses with others, so I have experience with living with others and the goods and bads, what behaviours annoy others etc. I'm a pleasant person who keeps mostly to himself, but if we get along it would be cool to hang out too. I work full time in Wendouree, and will be picking up an second job too for more income on my days off. A little about me, my hobbies include playing guitar, writing music, horseriding / horsemanship working out/ weight training and a lot of reading. When my day is over I might relax and play a video game.
Am currently based in Melbourne but have just come out of a 14 year relationship and looking to move to the country to live the dream I have always wanted. I am respectful of others, clean, tidy, happy to do my fair share of the housework and cooking.
I am easy going. Healthy and active but still love the odd glass of wine.I'm from country Victoria. Full time working as an occupational therapist and I've just got a job in Ballarat which is due to start at the beginning of September
Hi! I’m currently studying in Melbourne and the course ends middle of August. It’s around then that I would like to move to my new home. I am a community worker specialising in disability, and will continue as such in Ballarat while looking for permanent employment in Disability Employment Services. I will continue studying online as I’m doing both a diploma and an advanced diploma. I am also an artist. I’m into anything arty, crafty and keen on DIY, but I tend to spend what free time I find painting. I am already a member of the Ballarat Society of Artists. I love music and play the guitar, but at this stage, I’m rather rusty. As a house mate, I am tidy and clean, conscientious and respectful. I pay my bills on time every time. All of which sounds good, but dull. I’m not. I’m friendly and outgoing and witty. I like to cook and I enjoy a red – one can’t cook without wine, you know, and would like the odd house mate dinner party. I do a mean chicken in the Weber! Please feel free to contact me with any questions - I’m happy to answer in a truthful and forthcoming manner.
We are a fun couple from Estonia looking for a place to land in Ballarat for a month or 2. We are not big party fans, but like to relax and chill and crack open a cold one here and there. we're easy going, clean and tidy. Claudia is a good at baking and cooking, and loves to share her pastries with people. :)
Hi We are having a housemate move overseas so are looking for someone to come and join us. The house is ten minute walk to the centre of town and to Lake Wendouree. The room is spacious (3.6 x 3.2) with a walk through wardrobe to the ensuite. The wardrobe has 1.2 m of shelves and hanging space on each side. Downstairs is the living area with a large kitchen and open plan dinning and lounge. The place has gas hot water and gas central heating. We split the bills when they come in and they average just over $100 pp per month for elec, water, internet and gas. Outside there is a private little balcony area and a basic garden/lawn. We have a double garage which is available to use or there is plenty of on street parking. There would be a portion of bond to pay which is $491 and the rent is charged fortnightly for two weeks ahead. We are happy to show you through the property at your convenience!
Looking for a place for my dog and I from 20th August 2017 onwards anywhere in or near ballarat. Im a personal trainer and gym membership consultant, and love to travel on weekends. When home I am very quiet and spend time with my Siberian Husky Storm. Storm is 4 years old and makes absolutely no noise. He is well trained and doesn't dig nor destroy things. Storm doesn't work with other dogs though, and is quite fragile as he has had over 10 surgeries on his legs. I have my own TV, cabinet, bedroom furniture, couch, fridge and bar stools, but could of course get rid of these if you couldn't fit them :) I am extremely responsible, neat and am meticulous when it comes to cleaning. I am bubbly and creative and love to meet new people!
Beautifully Renovate double fronted heritage home in walking distance to town and train station. On the river if you like walking, running or cycling. Quiet street. Seperate lounge areas. Suit another fit professional or diligent student.
This renovated period house is located within walking distance to the CBD and train station and there is a bus stop around the corner on Humffray St North. A delicious new café Start Café has also opened up a 3 minute walk away and is definitely worth checking out :) The room is of medium size and large enough to fit a double/ queen bed and chest of drawers. There is a built in wardrobe and you will have access to your own bathroom (which contains the washing machine). Aside from your room, the entire house is fully furnished so no need to bring anything.
