My nickname is ’AJ’ and 23 years old. I just moved here from Sydney for work purposes.Soo far I am loving ballarat its a beautiful relaxing town. Looking to find a clean, nice, modernised, place to rent. With a safe neighbourhood. Private room must be clean and tidy and spacious enough to fit a Queen size bed and descent size closet space as well. Prefer 1-2 house mates max only. I’m an independent, responsible and reliable person.
I'm moving out of this property and am looking for someone/people to take over my lease! It's in a great location, only a stone's throw away from the lake and very short drive to sturt street and the hospital. There's also an excellent cafe just across the road. 2 large bedrooms upstairs with a shared bathroom, 2 living areas, kitchen with dishwasher, stove, and oven, and a double lockup garage at the rear. Move in date set at December 11th, but flexible. Feel free to shoot me a message on if you're interested!
Oh hi! Now that I have your attention, I'm a 28-year-old male journo currently working at the ABC (so you know; integrity, respect, trustworthy nature, etc) in human interest stories... if that interests you. TL;DR version: - I have a large band t-shirt collection. - I really enjoy coffee and beer, but not together. I bake my own bread. - I enjoy watching The Office, F.R.I.E.N.D.S and anything about Harry Potter. I'm moving out of my house I'm renting in Lucas in the coming weeks due to the owner putting their house on the market. I'm open to living either near Ballarat CBD so I can walk to work, or in the nearby surrounding suburbs. A bit about me: I'm quite relaxed and easy going, friendly with people from all walks of life, a tidy and neat-conscious person, well aware of other people's space, and most of all I love an adventure. I currently live with 2 females and have lived with a mix of guys and gals before, also growing up with three older sisters. I'm a bit of a sports nerd, love being active in social sport teams (anything from footy, to basketball to lacrosse to tennis or cycling). I also take a lot of photos (not the selfie kind) as that's my other passion outside of work. I'm also colour-blind but that's a whole another story. I'm also big on going to gigs across a lot of different genres, especially punk. I also love all animals so if you have a pet, then that's a bonus! I have a lot of existing items already including my own bed, couch, TV, kitchen items, washing machine, dryer, etc. So I'm pretty self-sufficient in terms of furnishings. Having said that, if there's a furnished house or flat that's always a bonus. I often like to come and go when I need to as I'm a fairly social person outside my four walls and spend a fair bit of time on the road. I am the kind of person that likes to bring a friend over to watch TV every now and then, so I like to be social with people and respectful of others in our shared spaces. My budget is about a maximum of $200 per week, but could be flexible if rent included internet, foxtel, gas, electricity, water, etc were added in. I'm originally from Albury, then grew up in Hobart, a couple of years in Melbourne then Mildura, so I've gotten used to moving recently for work, but really just hoping to settle in Ballarat at the right place with work with a permanent job in media (yes, they actually exist). Ideally, I'm hopeful of living in a house of about 3 people (give or take a person), young professionals around my age (flexible with that) that have had experience in sharehouses before. If you think I'm the right for your place, I'd love to know more about you, and the surroundings, and any pictures you have of potential rooms and shared spaces. I can provide professional and housemate references where required. Now that you've made it this far, I'd love to know more about YOU and what you're looking for in a place or housemate! Thanks :)
I am from Nepal. I am doing my Postgraduate in Civil Engineering from Federation University, Ballarat. Friendly, easy to get along. non smoker, clean and tidy, do not like mess. Want a quiet place so I can focus on my studies.
Don't let my age fool you, I believe I am quite mature for my age. I currently have two jobs one at Kmart and another as a barista but seeking other job opportunities. Recently completed a 2 year course in Agricultural studies and now looking at doing some short courses in Melbourne to broaden my skills and experience. I live on a small farm 45 minutes out of Ballarat hence the need of accommodation in town. I am a clean and tidy person, I would love any animals that you may have. I'm also decent cook!!

I'm a personal trainer and membership consultant - reliable with payments. I have a five year old Siberian husky storm who is very well behaved and quiet. I also do have a beautiful white cat called Ally who is currently at my mums but I would dearly love to have her live with me. Looking for somewhere safe, clean, quiet and warm. Would prefer a large room, walk in wardrobe and ensuite a bonus but not crucial if the room is big. Can provide rental references. I'm super clean and peaceful and like to keep very active and eat well 😊
Hey! I’m looking for somewhere new to live! I’m currently at my parents after a bit of time overseas so would prefer somewhere independent. I’m open to share houses or somewhere by myself depending on the circumstances. Living with new people would be great as I’m happy to chit chat but also do my own thing and live a pretty busy life with full time work and socialising with friends and family. I work in Wendouree and go to Fernwood gym so anywhere in between or around there would be great. Length of stay is negotiable and I may want long term but there is potential for me to transfer to Melbourne with work so would appreciate flexibility, but I may just commute to the Melbourne office.

My name is Christine, I'm 27 and I am a student. I am down to earth, friendly and love a chat but also appreciate down time to do my own thing. I am tidy and organised, and make an open minded and respectful housemate.
Hi I'm easy going, respectful and prefer a clean house to live in. Looking for 12mths plus place to live in Ballarat. No pets, non smoker, I'm in my early 30's n I get along with quiet or loud people. Hope to find a place by Xmas! :)
Hi There, I am an easy and fun loving individual who enjoys a quiet stay with anyone. I can bring many skills to the household and would make a fantastic flatmate for everyone and anyone interested. Conversation is never dull when I am around, but when it isn't required I am just as good at reading a good book or enjoying 'my time" with a book and a cup of tea. I will no doubt always pull my weight when there is a task that needs to be done. I love to help whether it is in a group of people or just myself. Cooking is my forte and all cleaning skills are exceptional, but everyone has a weak point and mine is in the ironing...doh!! It will not be long before I become part of the furniture and you will not be disappointed in the skills that I can bring to your home. I am looking at becoming part of a home as I have been a long time leaseholder who is needing a change. Look forward to hearing from you all soon and meeting you all for a good chat in person. Thankyou for considering me and speak with you soon. Cheers Michelle :)
I'm a young professional who just accepted a full time position as an English Teacher in one of the Ballarat schools. Originally from Ballarat but currently residing in Melbourne, I am looking to find a place for 2018 with 1-2 people. I am work focused: however, I enjoy a good conversation, dinner and the likes after a work day. In my spare time, you will find me running, cooking, reading, drinking wine and catching up with friends. I like to live an active and healthy lifestyle. Ultimately, I am hoping to find people that I enjoy coming home and seeing!
Hey! I'm Hannah. I work full time, Monday to Friday, love going to the gym in my spare time and hanging out with friends on weekends. My parents live out of town so I like to visit them in my spare time as well. I'm always up for a chat but respect privacy as well. I'm neat and tidy and enjoy meal prepping for the week ahead. I love animals as well so pets are never an issue.
We are a fun, laid back couple. Both studying in health and sport focused university degrees. Ebony is a graduate of health and rehabilitation science, continuing study in osteopathy. Marvin is in his second year of exercise and sports studies. Quiet, clean and tidy couple who enjoy gaming, sports and quiet afternoons with friends. We have been dating for over 5 years and avoid making other people uncomfortable with any PDA. We are happy to team up and lease with females, males, couples or a mix. Or move into an existing house.
Very close to CBD, 5-10min walk to town, public transport etc. Beautiful tree-lined street. Well-maintained heritage-listed property. Home has lots of character. High ceilings. Central heating, well insulated. Large room. Backyard. Bathroom has separate toilet. Bedroom has double bed, small wardrobe with mirror and lamp if needed. Streaming service available. NBN internet.
An old house with large ceilings and very close to town, uni and the hospital - one of the two remaining bedrooms is very large, the other a pretty good size too (no shoe box rooms here). It's 15 mins walk to the train station. The lounge is already furnished as well as the kitchen and laundry. An extra room next to the kitchen serves as a 'pantry room' for fridges and cupboards (it has been a 4th bedroom in its time). Driveway around the back in the side street, so can park in there, or lots of parking in the street. During the week, lots of city workers park out the front, so if you park out on the street, you may lose your park if you go out in your car for 2 mins - But the driveway is there for us to use in emergencies like that! Two heaters - one in lounge, other in foyer near front door. No Air Con, but the high ceilings make a huge difference, and a pedestal fan does the trick! I've made the front yard very pretty - it used to look dead and overgrown and very uncared for. I've had a vegie garden that I started last year, and I'm hoping I can get it going again soon. Planning a herb garden too. Subway down the the street, Maccas around the corner, Cinema is 10-15 mins walk away, the supermarkets about 10-15 mins away. As mentioned, town is very close, between 5 and 15 mins walk away (depending on destination). People who love going out can walk home from the pub, and not worry about a cab. If 3 people live here, the rent is only $84 a week. Bond is $1061 all together. Internet would be $26 a month, but elec and gas would vary each month, or we could organise direct debit. Pets not allowed, not security for dogs in the yard.
*Perfect for responsible, tidy student/professional *Refurbished comfortable R/C A/C private, peaceful home with lots of natural light. compact backyard with a palm tree. *Property is just walking distance to public transport & various shops. *Bedroom has bed, luxury mirrored bedside side with variable brightness light, glass student desk with light, built in robe etc. *Utility bills (just an extra $10 wk.)
Hi my husband and I have a self contained fully furnished flat including pans crockery and cutlery also electricity gas and water. It is one bedroom a bathroom and a combined kitchen dining room and lounge .It has a private entrance we are in central Ballarat. We are a ten minute walk to the railway station and the bridge mall shopping centre. We are a mature couple with pets that are fenced off from the area of the flat. We have had long term tenants the last one stayed 4 years the previous one 6 years, so I think we are ok as landlord neighbours. Regards Marina and David Pollock.
Two bedrooms available in this lovely, big home absolutely filled with natural light! There is a piano that is a part of the house, great central heating, gas cooking, a beautiful view of all of Ballarat from the deck, a grassy backyard, renovated kitchen with dishwasher, great hot water and water pressure, and pet welcome! Located in Black Hill right near the reserve, it is a short 15-20 minute walk into the centre of Ballarat, with 2 bus stops also nearby (just a 5 minute walk away) Both large rooms are $120 a week, excluding bills.
It's a beautiful and quiet flat in very close proximity to Sturt Street's local cafes and shops. 20 mins walk to Coles and Woolies and a 15 min walk to IGA and Lake Wendouree. The house is fully furnished except the bedroom you will be moving in to. We have a wonderful garden with olive, pear, lemon and chestnut trees. A very safe and friendly neighborhood. The flat has heating, which is very necessary for those cold winter nights. The house is always very bright and calming.
Beautifully Renovate double fronted heritage home in walking distance to town and train station. Great views located by the creek if you like walking, running or cycling. Quiet street. Seperate lounge areas. Suit another active and respectful professional or diligent student.
