It's a nice house and literally across the road from Webster's Market who do a superb coffee. The house is two storey, and the bathroom on the ground floor will only be shared by yourself and one other housemate. The bathroom itself is nice and big, modern kitchen with 2 fridges and a standalone freezer, a lock up garage and a nice private rear driveway which is an excellent area for some wind down bevs. Also has central heating. The room itself is at the front of the house and is nicely sized, easily fitting a double bed and desk and wardrobe. There is currently a 6 month-old queen sized bed, desk, and clothes rack that can be optionally purchased for the room. Rent is cheap so it is ideal for both people staying here week-long, or students/commuters from Melbourne. Pictures to come shortly.

I am a 46 year young male from England but now resident in Australia to start teaching maths and science at a school near Lake Wendouree. I currently teach in Berwick but start my new job in the second semester, so want to be in Ballarat from the end of June. I am looking for a place to stay close to the school to minimise driving time. I am a clean, friendly, social person who gets on with everybody but respects personal space. Love animals, clouds, trees, music, sci fi and a good pub. I am vegan but don't mind if you're not. I have a 6x4 trailer for my car and would ideally love a space for it to live, on the driveway, in the yard, etc. if possible.

I am a full time uni student. I spend a lot of time at uni studying. I keep to myself a lot and I'm quiet when I am at the house as my job requires me to work from home, so I'm usually busy with that. Im also clean and tidy. Reasonable and easy to get along with.

Hi Huge apartment in Ballarat's cbd, in fact it would be hard to be more central! You really can walk outside to all that Ballarat has to offer! The apartment is fully furnished and includes a double draw dishwasher and large washing machine. There's even linen and a fully fitted out kitchen. The apartment is so large that there is space for each tenant to have their own separate office at no extra charge! Nbn, gas and power bills are an extra $25 per week unless the bills are higher than budgeted.

This property is great because it is a beautiful old Victorian home with an artistic owner. It is set on a double block, with a magnificent garden. The people you would be sharing with are the owner’s partner, Paloma, her cat Vladimir, another house mate we have yet to find and Anton who owns the house and he is only here every 2 weeks or so. This place would suit a creative thinking type of person who is independent, responsible, healthy and active. The room available is medium sized with classic Victorian features such as a high ceiling, re-made Victorian style cornices and ceiling with a funky red glass chandelier. It is carpeted with light blue paint. There is an option of furnishings if required of a king single quality orthopaedic mattress bed and an artisan made clothes rack. The whole house is cosy warm and heated with central gas heating with a vent in the room. It also keeps wonderfully cool in summer. All furniture in the main house is provided, as well as whitegoods and TVs in the lounge and in a soon to be completed back sunroom with a view of a fernery with tree ferns. The house is established and full of furniture so no furniture other than your bedroom furniture, your linen and your kitchen stuff, please. No extra storage in the house either.
