My current roommate is moving back home, which means I have a private room available for rent in this newly refurbished unit in Essendon. The unit is on the ground floor in a block secured by security gates. It is on a quiet, established street with the 59 tram line just a minute walk to the end of the street. Along with the tram being super close, the Essendon train station is also just a 5 minute walk away. There are plenty of popular cafe's and restaurants around the area within walking distance, also a Coles grocery store just down the road. The thing I love about this property is the proximity. It's only about a 15 minute drive from to the CBD, has public transport close by and is still extremely quiet. There is one car space for the unit which is occupied by my own car, but the street has plenty of space to park (without the need of a permit!) The unit itself is already furnished with my own brand new appliances like a fridge, washer, dryer and microwave. The unit also has a stainless steel dishwasher, oven and stovetop. The only furniture you'll need to bring is for your own bedroom. (The photos were from the real estate before we moved in, they are true to the unit, just the furniture configuration is a little bit different since moving in, if you'd like more photos please just let me know.)
House shared with three others, two students, female, 25, male 24, (couple). The other 27 y/old professional male. We are a little band of people who like a social house, but also respect each others space. We are looking for a person who shares our enthusiasm for clean shared spaces. (y) They are pretty dandy. If you don't like walking far, live with us, the tram stop, (route 59) is right outside our door. If you prefer speedy trains... its about a 8 -10 minute walk to essendon train station. If you drive, lucky you. We share bills equally, as well as basic shopping. Room has built in robes and long mirror. Photos of room to come. Inspection welcome. If you want to hear a little about us shoot me a message and let me know:) Contact Beck... please

Tram stop (tram line 59) is right across the road and about 1-2 minute walking distance to the Essendon train station. This place is great as it's extremely convenient and it's secured, not every can enter the building unless they have the touch on security card so the safety is definitely there and there's a big balcony with a good view where you can chill with a drink or read or even just to relax. Moreover, the Windy Hill fitness club is right across and there's access to gym facilities also aquatic facilities and just make sure you keep the place clean and neat all the time.

Bec and I love living at this property because it is super close to an array of things! We live so close to awesome cafes and a burger joint! The bus stop is right out the front of our house, and the number 55 tram is only a 10 min walk away! If you're up for a little bit of an extra hike you can take a 20 min walk to tram 59 or Essendon station. Public transport aside the house is super spacious and have built in wardrobes that you can fit plenty of clothes in. We have air conditioning and ducted heating, so we're cool in summer, and toasty in winter! The bedrooms are pretty big. You can easily fit all the things you need in your bedroom to make it feel like home! We have off street parking, enough for three cars, Bec and I already have cars, so we can squeeze your one in too! Sadly, as much as we love puppies and kittens the landlord asks that it remains a pet free home....
Our home is modern and framed well with a nice garden front and back. The house is floorboard and tiles throughout and easy to keep clean if you suffer allergies. The location is a nice quiet pocket of Moonee Ponds, not far from lovely Queens Park, the Moonee Ponds Creek trail, some other smaller parks and Puckle St Shops and eateries. The transport options are plentiful if without car and a myki user. A bus line is 5 minutes walk away, you also have 2 tram lines 10-15 minutes walk away and the bus intersects a bus hub which branches in all directions close by. You also have a bus intersect more than 2 train lines, so you have options! I often mix it up to head in different directions or work around Metro delays so i'm not stuck. I also ride 30 mins to work in the cbd. The room is quite spacious, a past housemate had a double bed, recliner and big screen TV in his room to go with the double built in wardrobe doors. My current one has bedside tables double bed and desk with bureau. Its situated at the quiet end of the house also and is warm and inviting with good light or blockout blind. There is an aerial point in the wall for your TV. Wardrobe measures 2.1 metres across of hanging space and a shelf above. The room approximately measures 3.1 x 3.25m at the mid points for those that ask. If required, i can place a futon bed in the room which is very comfortable if you need a bedding option. Which we can arrange. I am happy to work with you to make you feel more comfortable and at home around some of the needs you may have. At present the room is unfurnished but i have helped prior housemates with beds, and other things, The Kitchen is quite nice with pantry, i have a new fridge and freezer to share also. There is cooking and eating utensils if you don't have any, i am pretty self sufficient for you to just move in. The Bathroom has a spa and shower, the toilet room - powder room is huge also and can serve as second vanity which has a dryer for colder months. The Rent is $250 a week which includes phone and internet (wireless ADSL 2+) also. The lounge and dining rooms each have TVs. NBN is planned for the area soon. Electricity, Gas is on a good discount where i work i get staff discount and split the bills in two ways along with the Water bill all separately. All these bills averaged over a year would be about $300 a Qtr (maybe less) for the elec, water and gas for your share. Current housemate moving to changed work conditions but was with me quite a long time. The backyard has a bbq, some nice sitting area and clothes line. Locally the creek trail is a nice walk as is Queen Park and surrounds. I am easy going and happy to chat or give you your space and respectful of your needs as i hope you are also. The place is quite large to spread out, its quiet if you like peace and rest. I work a corporate role, have my own business and play tennis and basketball. I lead a fairly active life cycling to work and keeping fit. I hope that you're easy going, a great communicator, clean and helpout without asking by tidying up after yourself. It's important you are a responsible person that can pay the rent and bills on time also. I am more than happy to show you about and make you a tea or latte to answer any of your questions if you'd like to see the place. Drop me a message if you are interested :) unlimited WiFi internet is included.
Room for rent in Moonee Ponds (just off the Puckle st shopping strip). The apartment, which is fully furnished, has a large living area and 2 bathrooms. It's located a short walk from both the train and the tram and is located approx. 15 minutes from the CBD via public transport.
Easy going, tidy, looking for a quiet household to share with some lovely people. I like to have my own space but enjoy catching up with housemates for dinner from time to time. Aside from that, I pretty much get along with everyone :) I work full time Mon-Fri in the aviation industry, definitely looking for a house that is quiet on weeknights but not averse to an occasional couple of drinks on a Friday night. I'm looking for a place from approximately late February / early March to around July.
I come from a large family, so am used to communal areas but also love me some privacy. I am a tidy, busy student. Hi all, I'm James, a 4th year engineering student studying at RMIT. I have a steady income, working within construction management part-time, 3+ days a week, with additional retail work available over weekends as required. I'm easy going, open minded, clean, and a non-smoker. I enjoy running amidst other outdoor pursuits as to stay fit and adventure. I greatly enjoy baking, coffee, and unwinding by our beaches. Further, when I’m out I appreciate a beer amidst our live music scene, and if we're in, I’ll never say no to Mario Kart. I maintain a large garden and vegetable patch at my current home, so should your place contain either of these, I am capable and content in looking after them. I'm looking for a clean and neat place with friendly and social housemates. I'm ready to move in as of the 26th of December, 2016. Car parking, off street or otherwise, is necessary for my work. I hope to hear from you soon.
Im 29, doing my masters at Vic Uni right now (still 2 semester more to go) and am looking for a new home in the beginning of January, since our lease is up. I think I'm pretty laid back, always up for a drink but also am fine with sitting in the sun with a good old book. I'm looking for a medium or large size room at a nice house, which has preferably an outdoor area. I also could bring some furniture to the new potential house. Let me know if I meet your future housemate profile and I'd love to come and swing by :) Have a good day

Hello Melbourne! I have recently moved (from Brisbane) for work and I am looking for a place to make a home. I'm in my twenties, love staying in with a glass of wine and good company equally as much as I love weekend adventures. I'm tidy and mature and can clean up after myself. I work in marketing. I have no furniture to bring but happy to furnish my own room. I do require a place with space to park a car. My boyfriend lives in Bendigo so I am also looking for roommates who don't mind him being over on the weekends (dw we're super considerate!). Looking for a home with great people! It's a plus if you have a puppy 🐶 I had to leave my little shihtzu in QLD. I'm open to any location 15-20 minutes from the CBD. Feel free to send me a message.
Looking to move into an existing place or join up with 1-2 others and start a house share in the north west area. I'm pretty quiet, respecful of space and easy to get along with
