House-proud, clean, social, respectful, communal furniture, team ups only. discussed in more depth below. Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas as much as time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering each other inside from a third person perspective. I consider housemates as family. I'm looking to start a home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach, and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are just over a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.
About me : Known for being chilled and independent, I am a 29 year old male who has decided to move closer to work after being offered a new role in one of the University area in melbourne. While everyone needs their own space i won't mind coming out for drinks/food or hanging out every now and then. I like keeping things clean but not a clean freak and like helping around in the house. Love travelling or even a movie nigh at home as well as checking out different Bars and Restaurants. Waiting to hear from you soon. Pranamya AKA Rocky
Hi I'm Liam, working full time as an engineer in Melbourne's CBD. I'm generally independent, but keen to have a social household with the odd shared dinner or quiet drinks after work. I don't have any pets myself but would love getting to know yours if you have any! I think I'm pretty easy going and I appreciate honest conversations should they need to come up. I love playing social sport on weeknights and chilling out with Netflix, tea and a crossword when winding down for a work night.
Hi, I'm Samantha. I'm a primary school teacher and a caffeine addict in my late 20s. I love yoga, cooking, reading, writing, imbibing unhealthy amounts of coffee and the occasional Netflix binge. I lead a busy, active life, and I honestly don't take up a whole lot of room.
Hi! I’m Aiden, 24 years old. I moved to Melbourne from Perth at the start of last year to start the JD at Melbourne Uni (have an undergrad in Management and Engineering Science from over at UWA) and I work at JB Hifi on the side. Looking to (one day) get into a career at the intersection of law and new technology. I'm originally from the Margaret River region a couple of hours south of Perth. I’ve lived out of home in shared living since I was 18, first on campus at uni then in a couple of sharehouses. I’m a very clean person and am more than happy to pull my weight around the house, I like things to be kept tidy. I’ve usually been the housemate who makes sure the rent and bills are paid on time so pretty financially responsible also. I’m fairly quiet and always respectful but love a good house chat, dinner or drink when the time calls for it. When I'm not studying I enjoy a bit of sport (footy cricket, hockey, NFL), board games, reading, Netflix and stimulating conversation.
Hi All! Unfortunately moving in April from where I am in ascot vale but would love to find new accomodation nearby! Will be ready to move by late March at the earliest. I'm an easy going 21 year old that works too much for my own good but loves having a chat around dinner time and flicking on Netflix or the tele. I come with a PS4 and a Netflix account that can become communal if wanted to. I keep to myself a fair bit in my room as I do work from home every couple of weekends and a few days a week but I crave social interaction with other housemates too! My budget is around $1000 a month after bills and bond won't be a hassle, and I've never had an issue with paying rent. Currently on a cleaning schedule which involves floorboards and bathrooms so I do keep clean around the house! My room can sometimes be a bit iffy though but it's always kept to a decent standard, but I'm always clean around the house. Into board games and my computer but also have a sporting edge which makes me leave the house every now and again! I also go to a lot of music gigs(hit 60 bands last year!!) Also interested in team ups, please chuck a message if you are as well!
I am a registered nurse born in New Zealand (have spent 28 yrs there). For fun I like to keep fit, learn new skills, do outdoor activities, annoy my cats back home, volunteer for animal shelters and meet new people. Also spend a lot of time helping friends and family. I love anything creative including creating art. At home I am considerate. Clean. Responsible. Friendly. Introverted but also enjoy chats and outings with housemates and deep conversations. INFJ. Honest. Reliable. Pay rent on time. Productive. Respect people and their values and their space. Open minded. Super friendly (not in a weird way haha), easy going laid back personality. No drama. I don't smoke. I don't throw parties. LGBT friendly (I am gay). Looking for a place long term 😊
Hi lovely people! What am I looking for? - Somewhere fun to stay with awesome housemates - Looking to stay for either a few months or for the long haul with the option of subletting my room when I go off for more than a month at a time (e.g. going to europe sometime this year) - Would be great to have outdoors or sports loving housemates that enjoy things like climbing, cycling, hiking, tennis or whatever else - A backyard would be amazing Why would you want me as a housemate? - I'm out of the house most of the time, working, I have things on most evenings and I'm often out for days or longer at a time on outdoorsy adventures - When I'm around, I like to be social, have a chat, share a beer or a wine, a meal, a movie or anything else happening - Got plenty of board games, and always keen on games nights - I have a car with plenty of space and a towball to help cart around big things - I enjoy working on projects around the house, and keen to do some gardening (by way of experimentation!) Frequently asked questions: - I was born here. Lived in NZ for awhile, and now back in Melbourne - I'm house trained. I'm not a neat freak, but believe things work nicer when dishes are cleaned soon after they are used (or the morning after if it's near bed time), objects are not blocking the walkways, and lawns are mowed - No dramas whatsoever about anyone's race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation - Left leaning, not that others need to be, but we'd probably get along better if we all were :) What you should know that might be an issue: - I would like a place where couchsurfers or visitors (anyone's) are welcome time to time - I like dumpster diving and won't hesitate to join anyone else willing or invite others - I'm mostly vegetarian but don't care what others eat / don't eat. Happy to be vegan in the house if others are
Hello Melbourne. The awesome duo of Neo Brothers are looking for their own place to stay in Melb. We are highly energetic singing playing and easy going people. We are both students here with part-time works with good pays, therefore are able to support ourselves at any stage. The best thing one can except from us is honesty. we are very true to ourselves and therefore are true to other individuals as well. We respect privacy and personal space, have high respect for rights and understand duties as a respectable temporary students of Melbourne. In other aspect we value time and personal relations, therefore are not parsimonious about the rent or bills. We can assure everything will be paid on time or in advance without the need of nagging about it. Also we wouldn't be bothered to pay a dime more for facilities we can enjoy in sharing. Any lease transfer of a 2 BR flat is welcomed as long as one doesn't need to drive to public transports. Also sharing a unit is possible. Not to mention we are non smokers social drinkers and hygiene conscious people. Neo Brothers
