Hi. We are in a very accessible area for both the mooney ponds area and freeways with the Calder fwy & airport. We are on a quiet street close to the mooney valley racecourse which is good for when they have firework displays. We already have a kitten named oscar and the yard is not suitable for dogs. The house comes with aircon and under floor heating which is great for colder mornings. Looking for someone who is respectful and generally tidy. There is also a large garden front and back with room for a small veggie patch to go in
Great townhouse in Brunswick West, 2 toilets, shared bathroom, large open plan kitchen, courtyard outside with BBQ, close to parks, moonee ponds creek trail, 8 min walk to 55 or 59 trams. Room is large, fits a queen bed and 2 bedsides easily, it also has a built in wardrobe. Bond is actually 6 weeks rent as this is a pet friendly property, one awesome cat lives here, another friendly cat or dog would be considered. Rent is $870 pcm and bond is $1200. Would suit traveller or someone in between properties as the lease is until August and they have not yet offered to renew so cannot guarantee that yet unfortunately
It's quiet, easy walk to trains (8 mins), trams (8 mins), supermarkets, Puckle street and a short drive to Tullamarine airport (16 minutes). Short cycle down to the Maribyrnong river. The unit has a comfortable sized living + kitchen area (37m2), outdoor courtyard (see photos), separate toilet, separate laundry and of course a BBQ and outdoor setting out back. You would also have the privilege of using an original 1960's bathroom fit out complete with pink tiles. It's a decent sized bedroom with east facing window that looks out onto our courtyard. It can fit a queen bed + drawers + freestanding wardrobe + probably a small desk. The room measures 2.6m x 3.8m. I can provide a completely empty room, but can also supply a king single bed (with linen), set of drawers (Ikea style 3 drawer tall boy) and clothes hanger + shoe rack combo (Ikea) for use if you would like.
Professional female working in communications and marketing, looking to share a nice place with other females or a mixture of genders. I have a great sense of humour (quirky), fairly neat and tidy sort of person, good with money and enjoy films, books, and art and culture around Melbourne. Can also cook! Would like to share with a similar sort of people, and not really into the party scene any more but wouldn't pass on a good night of wine etc. every now and again, and am dog friendly too (allergic to cats unfortunately). Like my own space, including cooking etc., but also would like to share with someone friendly to catch up on the week/day :-) I have a queen sized bed and matching sides and tallboy so would need a larger room rather than a smaller. Possibly 4m x 3.5m ish. Would also need broadband internet. About $215- $250 is my ideal rent, (excluding bills).
I work full time in St Kilda Road so the week days are always busy. Down to earth, reliable, tidy, fun person. Enjoy, excercising, sights, new scenes, food, art, music and am always down for a good conversation.
My name is Dylan, I have lived in Melbourne my whole life. Im not really an outgoing person but i have a fun personality once you get to know me. Hi all, good luck with your searches! A little bit about me: - I'm a 32 year old Social Worker, working full time at a hospital in the city. - Outside of work I like photography, reading, writing, exploring gardens and getting out of Melbourne for a bit. - Over the past 14 years I've lived in various share houses and private rentals and have a full set of adult skills! - I value kindness, humour, respect, and honesty in housemates, and aim to offer these things in return. - I can contribute a few different practical things to the house if needed (eg. washing machine, fridge, couch etc). - Sometimes I need to retreat and have my private space after work, other times I'm more than happy to hang out and chat with housemates if everyone's home! - I don't cope very well with party houses (need beauty sleep for work) or with smokers (migraines). I can be relatively flexible with move in dates, am hoping to find somewhere for at least 6 months with a spot for off street or safe on street car parking. I'd love to find a home with like minded souls who treat home like a sanctuary, please feel free to contact me if you feel like we'd be a good fit!
Clean, friendly and a pretty chilled out person. I am a recent graduate of the University of Melbourne, currently working full-time with the aim to go back to uni later this year. Interests include; sports, reading, and cooking.
Hello there :) I am a 30 years old, PhD student at The University of Melbourne and I am based at The Royal Children Hospital to do my studies. I was born in Italy and lived there until 4 years ago. Then Melbourne captured me with its sunsets, stunning views and multicultural&funky vibe. I am looking for share housemates who are open, respectful, friendly and don't need all the time to do things together to feel they have a good vibe in the house. I can offer the same in exchange. I want a cosy place that will feel like home _a place where I can relax and get rid of the PhD&life stresses. Don't mind if you do parties or have friends over and I hope I may be able to invite few friends over, too (I like to host small pizza party - i have an electric oven which simulates a woodfired oven ;) ). However, I am not up for a constant party house. I like people and i usually get along with others easily if things are communicate openly. I want to leave in a decent and clean space. I am happy to participate in a cleaning roster (actually i would prefer that so no need to argue about who did the bathroom last time ;) ). Things that makes me happy... hang out in parks, having long skype calls with my family&friends, doing yoga, exercising, going to markets or second hand shops, going to the Abbotsford Convent, cooking and baking, talking about science and philosophy (don't worry not too heavy stuff!), art galleries wondering. I am Pescis if this matters ;)
I am a friendly, mature, a considerate person who enjoys having my own personal space. I can appreciate everyone else's need for quiet, space and maintaining a clean home.
Easy going, friendly, clean, very respectful of my surroundings. open minded, not so picky and i can be funny sometimes. oh and my background is half South African and Ethiopian. grew up here in Melbourne & currently in third year at Uni studying Law. enjoy playing range of sports, love nature and just be around great minds i guess.
Hi, i am neat and clean and tidy person looking for a room with personal bathroom, i m easy going person but likely to be prefer place in 2 to 3 bedroom apartment or house.
Clean, respectful, generally quiet, I am an eco-friendly animal lover (not crazy about crawlies inside though), flexitarian (almost Vegetarian/Vegan with exceptions). I work 2 jobs, love Yoga, Pilates, traveling, dancing (Latin, Kizomba & WCS) and many other things. I like & need the quiet probably just as much as I like to socialize. Quirks: I push bike everywhere, make my own Kombucha and some of my home/cleaning/body products to avoid using nasties & reduce packaging, like to compost & use homegrown herbs/veggies. Ideally hoping to move into a house with 1, maxi 2 nice clean people respectful of each other's schedule and if possible in their late 20's to mid 40's. PS: last but not least I don't have a specific move out/in date, ideally around end of March, I am more trying to find the right fit.
I'm 32 and work in Port Melbourne as a merchandise planner for a clothing company. It's a standard 9-5, Monday to Friday office job that is really not all that exciting but it provides a reliable source of income for paying rent and bills. I'm a pretty basic guy, usually unwind by watching mind numbing TV on school nights, enjoy a beer on the weekends and I don't mind a bit of a cook up. Actually I love a cook up so be prepared to be fed. Other hobbies include listening to music and going to the odd gig when one of my favourite bands are in town. I've lived in Melbourne now for seven years (originally from Tasmania) in the same house in Moonee Ponds and I'm ready for a change. I'd prefer to live somewhere in the northern/western suburbs so I'm close to where all my friends live. I've lived out of home since I was 16 so I'm full house trained and respect a clean and tidy home. I also have a house full of furniture if there's anything you need, otherwise I'm looking to sell it all off. Let me know if you think I sound like someone that will fit in well with your house.
I and my friend both study at Unimelb and work part time. Besides being busy with the uni assignments we love to hang out once in a while or love having a chit chat session over a glass of wine! Also, we are great cooks! :D Let us know if we sound like your perfect flatmates!
Respectful of other's personal space Very clean and quiet Will be spending most time at work/at a library or out of home Moving to Melbourne for the firs time Good to have a casual chat with.
I'm very clean, prefer to live in a place with someone with mutual interests. I enjoy yoga, aerial fitness, home cooking, going for brunch, drinking wine and cocktails! I also love pizza, fried chicken and Netflix :)
