Edit - house sitting over December, early January so on looking from mid January now I'm a kiwi originally but have been living in Dubai for the last 6 years. I am married, with 3 primary school aged kids but they will be staying in Melbourne while I work in Adelaide from late November until early July 2017. I'm looking for preferably furnished accommodation with just one or two other people. Although I haven't been flatting since my 20's I am well house trained and very good at getting on with all sorts of people and doing my share of cleaning etc around the house. I'm pretty easy going and have a good sense of humour. I will be working at the airport and will be doing shiftwork on a 24/7 roster. Most shifts will be during the day but I will need a place where I can sleep during the day occasionally or get an early night on the weekend so don't want a party house. Having said that I am more than happy to share a drink on the days I have off. I will also try to get back to my family in Melbourne on a regular basis so I won't always be around either. Hi there! We have a lovely house in Findon on a quiet street. The house itself is modern, spacious, with a large kitchen and garden. The property is well maintained and clean, with lots of privacy. The room is large, with air conditioning, windows, blinds, and is suitable for a double bed. We are about 600m away from the Findon shopping centre, which has a Coles, Foodlands, greengrocers, library and other outlets. There is also a bus stop to the CBD which is a two minute walk from the house. Heading West, the beach is only a seven minute drive away! Appliances such as a washing machine, vacuum cleaner, dishwasher, fridge, etc are supplied. There is air conditioning throughout the house and in the rooms. Bills are paid quarterly and shared between four people, adding to about $20/week. Rent is paid weekly, and the bond is $675 (not 4 weeks as mentioned above). Furniture is provided in the living areas, but the room is unfurnished. I am moving out, and would be willing to sell my wardrobe and bed at low cost :) The bathroom is shared with two girls who are very hygienic.
