This room is available from Monday 28 May. You must also be willing to be on the lease (six months initially, then month-to-month thereafter). The apartment is three-bedroom and one-bathroom, and located in the quiet, leafy suburb of Woolwich. The bedroom itself has built-in wardrobes with plenty of natural light during the day and direct access to the balcony with a view of Lane Cove river. Rent is just $247 per person per week, paid fortnightly and excluding bills. Electricity is split equally three ways every quarter. Internet is $30 per person per month for super-fast NBN with unlimited downloads. There’s no need to pay for water. There is off-street parking available downstairs. Public transport is easy – the bus stop is just a few minutes walk away up the road. The 505 runs from Woolwich to the city (Wynyard) and return, and the 538 runs from Woolwich to Gladesville and return. The ferry wharf is also very close by only a few minutes walk and will take you directly to Circular Quay. The apartment is located above a Vietnamese restaurant (yum!), and is only a two-minute walk from the Woolwich Pier Hotel (drinks for all!). The balcony offers stunning water views (as you can see from the first picture), and you can see the Sydney Harbour Bridge clearly from the living room window. Woolwich is a lovely suburb right on the water, between Hunters Hill, Lane Cove, Birchgrove, and Drummoyne. It’s only 10km from the city by car, and only 20 minutes from the city by ferry. One of thebest things about Woolwich is that people don’t tend to know where it is, so it’s super quiet and chill around here. I like to think of it as not feeling as though you live in the busy rat race of Sydney, even though you're only a few kilometres from the city! Note 1: Smoking is permitted outside only. Note 2: Pets are not permitted.
I'm a Swiss post graduate student about to start uni at Macquarie. I am pretty easy to live with, very sporty and enjoy partying on weekends. Kind of a geek sometimes, clean and tidy. I'll arrive in Sydney around the 10th of July as I'm currently working in France but I'm more than happy to arrange skype/facetime sessions if needed.
I'm an 22-year old international student from Belgium, who will study at Macquarie University between the end of July until the first half of December. I am an easy-going, tidy and sociable person who enjoys having dinner together and maybe going on little getaways during the weekend. I am not a hardcore party-goer, but do enjoy a night out every once in a while. I like a rather quiet environment and would love to have flatmates that are students too. I prefer to share a house with at least two other people, but you can also contact me if you are alone and looking for a flatmate. I'd like to have a private room, but would not mind sharing the bathroom with a tidy person.
I'm in my last year of university and work part time in the North Sydney area as a research assistant, where I plan to stay on after I graduate. From Sydney, love travel, vegetarian, LGBTI+ ally, friendly, open-minded. I'll want to be friends with the person(s) I live with, so we can share a bottle of wine and watch Netflix occasionally together. I also enjoy my own space, and need it often. I actually enjoy cleaning, I am house proud and can't handle a mess. Sadly, I am allergic to cats so I will not be able to share with one.
I’m an easygoing and clean person who works as a high school teacher. I love to make new friends and have a good time with my flatmates as well as spending time by myself. (I recently rescued a cute tabby kitten called Porkins. He’s well trained and loves a belly scratch plus a big purrer. So, we are kind of a package now)
I am relocating to Sydney for work, i will be looking for a 3 month lease with the possibility of staying on. I am into sports, gym in spare time. I will be working as night shift supervisor, so a non party atmosphere is preferred, although i do like a couple of beers /wine and a good bbq in my down time. I am very clean, social and respectful of others needs. I enjoy finding new places with good coffee and food, especially asian food. Feel free to contact me any time if you feel i fit into what you are looking for.
Hey, I'm Baskaran! I am from Cologne, Germany, but have lived in many other places including 6 years in London. I moved to Melbourne last October. I am respectful, reliable, easy going and easy to get along with. I am a very clean and tidy person to live with. I enjoy having friends over for dinner occasionally but also enjoy having time to myself at home. I'm going to start a full-time position at Macquarie University in May. Hi, I'm Hugh (male, 20). I'm studying nanoscience at UNSW (third year, full time), and working part time as a hospital orderly. With uni and work, my hours are pretty variable, and I'll often work quite early or quite late shifts (early shifts start 6:30am, and late shifts can finish 9-11pm). Interests include radio controlled aircraft, photography, reading, rock climbing, swimming. I'm pretty quiet, but enjoy socialising with friends.
My boyfriend and I are looking to rent a room either on the north shore or around Ryde as these are central to our daily lives between the two of us. We are both working (him full-time in a dock yard and myself part time in retail) with me also studying at WSU. We are both fairly neat people and clean up after ourselves and keep to ourselves however can be social if we get along with people well. He is into gym, motorcycles and cars while I am into anything creative whether it be books, drawing or music. Internet is the biggest necessity as I am studying currently. Of course it would be nice to have our own bathroom however we are not fussed. A parking spot would be ideal however a motorbike is fairly easy to park on the street. Thanks for the consideration! - Ruby and Rory
I'm a mature, quiet, tidy, lady who is easy going, originally from the country (Tasmania) but been here long enough now to say I'm Australian. I work part time in the Child Care Industry and current working for a family in Chatswood, mainly afternoons and early evening shifts. Im friendly and enjoy socialising however I am also respectful of others personal space. I'm happy to share the occasional meal or drink together but in saying that I'm also just as happy to do my own thing.
I am working full time and looking to move out of home and close to work. I would make a great flatmate because I am friendly, organised, clean and tidy! I love going out and socialising but also love quiet nights in
Gday future housemates, About me: 28, currently working fulltime as an engineer in the city, recently moved in from Melbourne. I have recently finished my Masters Of IT and have been working ever since, enjoy my time cooking, wine, working and keeping fit. I like to party and would consider myself fairly social but do not bring parties back home. I always clean up after cooking and do my best to keep the community areas neat and tidy. I have been living in a shared arrangement for over 12 years with all kinds of people, never had trouble with landlord or housemates, so you can say I am well trained and friendly. I love computers far more than I should as it's my job but I wouldn't consider myself as a geek (ok, maybe a bit). I do not watch TV (occasionally Rick and Morty or Mr Robot) so you get the couch to yourself. You can talk to me about anything: Music, Politics, cooking, Work, relationships.. anything. I love wine and beer but all in moderation. I love coffee science, you would often see me make good brews. Love a good run and often sweat it out in the gym. I will be your good friend but also make sure you get your space when needed. I am flexible, Can move in or team up. Cheers, Kal
I currently work full time as a Personal Assistant in Real Estate so I am generally out of the house 7am - 7pm Monday to Friday. If I'm not out with friends on the weekend, I am Netflixing with Red Wine! I love meeting new people and having chilled out chats at home but am also respectful of and do appreciate my own personal space! A very clean and relaxed environment is what I appreciate at home! Built a really good relationship with my last flatmates aside from just living together but they have now all moved on and are having families etc. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi there, My name is Yazan and I want to be your flat mate!. I am a professional, working full-time as a project manager and a part-time PhD student. I have recently moved from Dubai to Sydney, before that i used to live in Leeds, UK. I am usually described as neat, clean, quite and a social person with a great sense of humour. I also do respect other's privacy and would pay the rent on time. Important to me: you’re nice, you keep shared spaces clean, we are close to public transport (my office is near Wynyard Station) NOT important to me: your Gender/Orientation, your Race/Religion, and your age. Sharing a home is all about courtesy and common sense.
Hi there! I am South American, work full time with international trading in the City and looking for a quiet and clean place to move into. I have a busy lifestyle during the week with early boot camp a few times a week and on the weekends like running, hiking and so on. I do interact sometimes, but enjoy my privacy as well.
