Nothing special need to mention about me. As long as you know me you will find out. I am your future share mate, present share mate and continue until one day......
Quiet place, in the bush but only half hour from Hobart. I only just built the house (still a few details yet, actually), and it has a great rustic feel & connection to outside, but pretty warm (decent insulation + wood heater). Beautiful in winter. Off grid. Once house is finished I'll be hitting the garden with a vengeance. Don't need a money-spinner, just someone to share it with who gets the ethos (off-grid, simple living, more self-reliant etc). Happy for a few hours labour in lieu of rent (if you're practical). No time commitments required. Must like dogs, as the coolest dog ever lives here. House still needs a bit of work, but the room is finished and everything works. Housemate can bring a dog if he/she is agreeable with other dogs. Boots on inside is fine - slab floor & good vac. I use my phone for a modem, so if you're into gaming then it isn't for you. A bit practical is good. It's not a suburban house.
Youthful 40s, musical, health-conscious, politically alive, enviro aware, good sense of humour, sociable and indepedant...Love to set up a house with one other (two maybe..) or join a sharehouse. Love to get a cat one day.....

Hi all, I'm looking to house share as I'm moving down from QLD shortly. I work in community services and am an outgoing and open minded person. I really like to have a laugh so I would need to live with somebody who is the same. I'm easy to live with, and am respectful of other peoples space. In my spare time I like to get out and go for coffee/ wine/ food and more food, outdoor pursuits and am pretty active-yoga, walking etc. I love anything to do with art and always have some random project on the go. I also have a cat Rupert-he's a champ and totally toilet trained-he likes to lurk outside most of the time.

I am 35 year old female moving to Hobart for a temporary position in state govt until the end of June (at this stage). Hiya! Derry Doyle here - an easy-to-live-with fella from Western Australia over here in Hobart to enjoy everything that Tasmania has to offer! Currently working as a tour guide, I love a bit of cooking, a bit of gardening, intelligent conversation and a bit of dancing and fun.
Hi ~ I'm Freya! I've just returned home to Melbourne after a year living in Portland, USA. I'm currently in the process of trying to move to Hobart, since I've just graduated my course in graphic design and am looking for a change of scene. I was born in Hobart and have some family there, so am hoping to spend the rest of my year in Hobart and suss out whether it feels like the right place for me! I'm 25 and have lived in two share houses since leaving school. The first was a big old place in Melbourne that I shared with four others, and the second a cute home in Portland with 3 of us, so I'm accustomed to sharing communal spaces and respect others boundaries. I am a dedicated tea drinker, enjoy music and art and the outdoors, specifically hiking and cycling and like to spend quiet hours in my room drawing, as well as having laughs around the dinner table if and when everyone in the house just feels like hanging out! I really feel that it's important to have a nice place to come home to, so am very conscious of keeping my houses well loved and maintained, as well as peaceful and homey! I'm open to a spontaneous move so am hoping to find a place by May! If you feel like I might be a good fit, please shoot me a message and we can chat! I am not an earlybird so feel free to text me! Thanks, from your potential future housemate Freya :)
Hey all, I'm a chef & I'm working full time, only day work. So I'm definitely up for cooking dinner! I'm super neat and tidy and respect the communal areas of the house greatly and am after housemates that are the same. I'm pretty socialable and often love a bit of a chat but also like my alone time and respect other people's. I like to just chill out on my days off or get out and about. All round easy going and easy to live with. Looking for a room in a current share house or to team up with anyone looking!
I am a quiet, tidy and kind person, currently working part-time at UTAS for the College of Arts and Law. I am very respectful of other people's space and while quiet, I am also friendly too. In my spare time I enjoy hobbies such as creative writing, drawing and going for walks. I am a non-smoker and I'm interested in finding a place to rent in close proximity to public transport. Thank you for reading my listing and feel free to message me if you feel we may be a good flatmate match :)

$140 per week for a room. long term stay preferred. The house is a well sized 1950s 4 bedroom house. There is a large front and rear yard (fully fenced at rear). All main living areas are furnished along with washing machine, fridge and dishwasher. There is sufficient parking for 3/4 cars on property and much more on the nature strip. Each room has an electric panel heater installed, main heating is a heat pump. Has wooden floorboards throughout, bathroom and kitchen are tiled, and underfloor insulation recently installed. I'm friendly, motivated and organised. I fell in love with Tasmania on a holiday, so I recently drove here from Perth, Western Australia. I'm enrolling in a Master of Teaching to add to my science background. I love fitness and exploring the natural world. Can't wait to chase some auroras! I also love dancing.
