Hey guys, Our flatmate is moving back to Europe on November 15th and we'll have one of the main bedrooms available. The house is in a prime location on Greville Street - 100m from Prahran train station, 5 min walk to chapel street and surrounded by public transport ( 72 & 6 Tram). We've got cafes, restaurants and bars all within a 10min walk away, along with Prahran market, Woolies, Dan Murphys and basically everything you need within 1km of the house. The college lawn and Tall timber are 50m and 200m away respectively. Location is unbeatable. There is on street or off street parking available as well. The room dimensions are 4.5m x 4.7m with 2 built in wardrobe/cupboard storage spaces. Has high ceilings with good natural light and with the whole house interior repainted when we moved in just over a year ago. The house has 4 bedrooms, 1 lounge room and large back yard for BBQs and sunset drinks. Due to the house being older in design there is 1.5 bathrooms, a laundry room and lots of room for storage.
Rent is per person based on a couple or two people sharing (not combined!) Meaning it is $410 for one person/ week or $205 each for two people/ week. Sorry for the specifications but we just wanted to be clear. Great location on the corner of Punt/Commercial Road, 10 minutes walk from Chapel Street and all the pubs, supermarkets, restaurants and cafe's that that come with it. House backs onto the beautiful Fawkner Park by the Alfred Hospital. 15 minute walk to the Botanical Gardens too. The room itself is a large en-suite with balcony, and is suitable for either a couple or two friends (or one big bawler who can cover the rent). It has a large sliding wardrobe with a mirror door and is unfurnished but may be negotiable with the current tenant. The living spaces are large and open style and the back patio has plenty of seating and a BBQ for those summer nights. There's also a shared underground garage if you have a vehicle (one space available).
Queen size bedroom with loads of storage. Recently renovated and close to train, tram and bus services. Short walk to Chapel St one direction and to St Kilda / Albert Park Lake the other. Have lived abroad in shared houses for many years and remain fond of travel but am well settled in Melbourne now. During the week I prefer to remain pretty quiet. Work 7 - 5 and try to do something fitness related most nights. Whether that be gym, running or basketball. I'm pretty easy going and like to be social on the weekend. When the weather warms up, I do host the odd bbq but my days of living in a party house are over. Please note I am looking for just one person for the room and unfortunately no animals (even if they are extremely cute). Prefer someone who is over 30 years old and the price per week does not include bills. Foxtel BBQ Fully furnished Outdoor area

Bond is $1275 (6 weeks as it's a furnished house) Fornight rent is $462/person Bills estimation: $100/month/person (internet, electricity, gaz and water)
Irish, been here over 6 years.. Work in Banking 9-5. Usually out and about running, bike rides, hiking, bit of gym as well as nights out/gigs on my time off. Clean & considerate, I value a social household but enjoy my downtime too. Flexible on move date. Keen to find the right place as soon as possible.
I spend part of my week in Carlton North in a creative studio working with like minded designers and creatives, with a strong focus on sustainable design. I spend the other part of my week at RMIT finishing my third and last degree. I love yoga, I'm vegetarian 90% of the time (other people eating meat or fish doesn't bother me) and try and get to the Dandeonongs or Peninsula if I ever have a day to spare (which is not often enough). I'm tidy, easy-going and stay quite busy during the week. I like being in beautiful yet simple spaces (a product of studying design). I try and eat pretty healthy but can't go without the occasional dark chocolate treat. I'm looking to live with people who live relatively healthy lives, enjoy what they do, enjoy quiet time and also up for a chat over tea.
I'm Heidi, 22 yrs old looking for a friendly place to live in a suburb not too far from the cbd, I'm a busy person with a healthy social life, I am clean and neat and considerate as a house mate. :) Please contact me anytime
I am currently studying Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne majoring in Law minoring in Politics. Despite the heavy study load and populist beliefs amongst my 'Work Hard Play Harder' friends; I am legitimately only boring on weekdays and a most likely/10 hitting Circus or CQ with the squad on the weekend. People's first impression of me is often subjected to the flaws of male fundamentalism where a woman can only be one of the two possible archetypes: stupid & attractive usually super fun but often shallow and has a lot of hot friends, OR smart & ugly, has a jam-packed schedule, living a conservative and quiet life with a small social group of feminists who she exchanges literature reviews on a Sunday brunch. Well, I guess I must be Elle Woods from Legally Blonde, as I identify myself with both archetypes. Can you hear that? it's the sound of the narrow-minded being absolutely mind blown. Advantage: - Tidying up after myself in communal areas almost right after I make a mess such as cooking, or unfolded a throw (currently living in an OCD-infested house in the eastern suburbs; I've picked up the art of cleaning & organisation) - Also currently studying Interior Design & Decoration so the house will always be pimped TF out - Hardly takes any offence to criticism & prefers resolution than tension (mindfulness people, mindfulness) - Respects and follows established boundaries and trust me, boundaries will not be crossed but the same is expected on the other end as well. (personal space, no social/friends stealing, care to other people's personal property, ect ect) - Regular Schedule (well I'm boring on weekdays and I know most people go to work on weekdays so that works well for both of us) - Always punctual with bills & rents. - I have my own life too, don't worry, I won't pry into yours. - To be honest, I don't mind a bit of gardening - Loves travelling so there is a possibility of me being away for a short period of time during my uni breaks - I love vacuuming is that weird - Any guests coming to the home will love me - Honest & Brutally up front as I like to discuss about problems as soon as the problem occurs. (but I'm mindful of other's situation as well, repeated as above) Disadvantage: - I'm a smoker. I don't smoke indoors (who does that anyways?) and I don't throw butts on the ground (again, mindfulness) & if you are asthmatic then obviously I will not smoke within your perimeter. - I am incredibly social but when I'm at home I often like being in my own company working on things by myself. Personal space is a big thing for me and I can't help it. - I can't live with kids or babies (personal space, personal property & personally I don't like smoking in front of children) -Prefers the ensuite as I have a lot of cosmetics & girly stuff (it's an addiction, seriously Mecca & Lush should be illegal) I also prefer unfurnished or semi furnished properties as I do have my own furniture & I am a soon to be Interior Designer. (This applies to pals that are interested in looking for a house/apartment together) If you would like any further information or have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me. Regards, Chee.
We are a 2x girl couple looking for a room to rent in Melbourne. Alice (27) works in finance on St Kilda Road Ashleigh (25) works in insurance on St Kilda Road Both like to eat, travel & watch netflix.
I'm a 25yo student looking for a group of people similar age 22-35 who are fun to be around, inspired and challenge each other to better themselves. I'm an active person and value a healthy lifestyle, good quality food and train at the gym most days. I have a relaxed personality, value people with a good sense of humor and don't really watch much TV. Bonus points for a housemate that could double as a gym buddy! I am looking to either start a new share house or join an existing place in need of another housemate. And I love dogs. I have previously lived in share-houses and I can cleaning up after myself ect.
Hello there, I am a full time work-aholic as a Project Manager in Construction. Currently working in insurance construction for the past two years! Been in Melbourne last two years (originally from Sydney/Canberra) living mainly near the SE Suburbs (Malvern East & Chadstone). Looking relocate somewhere in the near vicinity of work in Oakleigh South. Fairly quiet during the week and generally head out on the weekends to catch a gig/show or venture around! Love weekend trips away visiting the family! I'm easy going, big heart, honest, clean and great with bills! I love music and the arts, that is my passion! I'm 34 years young, play guitar and program songs. I also enjoy sculpting, painting and I adore all animals. Hoping to find a place with happy fun vibes with those of a similar lifestyle preference!
I'm Jono - a sociable 23 year old management consultant working in the CBD. When I'm not working, I enjoy keeping fit, skiing, going out for drinks/food, meeting up with friends, and seeing a concert or show. I seek a private room in a shared apartment/house, with easy-going and respectful people; who are up for quality conversation/banter and a beverage.
I am from Sao Paulo, Brazil, I am currently interning in a architecture studio in CBD area . I am very organized and clean, but I know I have some sloppy days, but I swear I try to avoid them. I believe is very important to keep things clean and organized, specially when you are sharing your house with someone else. I am not a party person, I don't really like to drink but I won't refuse some occasional drinks. Usually I prefer to stay at home at night, unless ther is a special occasion. If I could, I would probably die watching Netflix, but I also like to exercise, I am really into cross fit. or riding my bike around Melbourne getting to know new places. My internship ends in December, but I am thinking about starting a Masters next year, which means I would be around until April or the next years, there are a lot of things that could happen, so I am Taking one step at a time. I believe for now that is it Best regards for you reading this Yuri Michel Piantniczka
Heya! I've moved down from the Gold Coast a couple months ago with plans to move out with a friend. Their plans have since changed so I'm now looking for an awesome like minded individual to share a pad with. Little bit about me: I'm 26 year from the Gold Coast. Born and raised. I love music. I sing and play guitar. I also have a engineering degree, looking for engineering work in the city but happy with the hospitality (barista) and creative industry scene until then. I do love a coffee (obviously) and social drinks. I'm also very laid back but love to socialise and chat with my roommates. Love a drink in the city or heading to a brewery for some freshly brewed bevvies. Also can't get enough of going out for breakfast on the weekends. I'm very clean and tidy and also love to cook! Healthy and not so healthy! Little bit about you: (Feels like a dating profile) Full-time working (or at least full-time hours) individual . Clean and tidy but not OCD or anal about a couple clean dishes drying in the dish rack. Beer/cider and coffee/breakfast fiend. Ideally you are 24-30 years old and non-travellers. Being new to Melbourne I'd love for you to be social with a awesome group of friends that can vouch for you. Enjoy going out and about on the weekend but definitely not party animals! Please no crazies!!! I want someone who's up for conversation so if you like to keep to yourself all the time I don't think this is going to work. Hit me up straight away as I am looking to move as soon as possible. :)
Hi there, I am a fun, easy going, clean and tidy, laid back individual who works full time in Real Estate. I am looking for a room or to start a group of 2 or 3 people to move into a new place. I am looking to move in with like minded, mature individuals/professionals. I don't have any pets, I occasionally smoke and love a great wine and a bit of banter. I am very busy during the week with work and gym/excersize and like to get outdoors on the weekends. I am a private and honest person who also respects other peoples privacy and values.
Hi I'm Chris! I am 27, working full-time for a government department in the area of law and economics in the Melbourne CBD. I am easy going, social, clean and reliable with paying rent and bills. I'm hoping to find friendly and easy going housemates that like to have a chat while grabbing a coffee or having a meal/drink at times. It would be great to find a place that is more like a home than just a place to stay. I enjoy brunch, yoga, AFL, going for runs, cafes/restaurants, movies and going to events/shows/exhibitions. I am starting to learn Spanish and having a go at salsa. After work and on the weekends, I like to catch up with friends and keep busy, but at times relax at home.
I am ideally looking for a private room to rent (with a carpark) in & around Southbank / South Melbourne areas. I'm 25/M, work FT in the City and also Mt Waverley, and play sport on top of this. Have lived in share housing for over 10 years, and know the drill well. I don't have raging parties, don't stay up all hours of the night etc, pay all bills on time. I just recently adopted an 8-year-old cat, and she is incredibly friendly. Mostly just a lap-cat, so doesn't involve much maintenance at all (just a relaxing place to sleep her days away). Worse comes to worse, I have alternative arrangements in place for the cat should it be a no-go. Pretty easygoing guy, more than happy to sit down for a beer when I'm around, and won't make a mess etc. At this stage my move date is the 29th October, and the plan would be to stay for around 2 months - however, that could extend. Hit me up if you want to find out more or have a room/house that you think I could be interested in.

I am usually quiet during the week, but like to get outdoors and be active on the weekends. I'm respectful of others, clean, and always keen for a chat.
