Hey, we're Victoria and Sumaid... a young couple looking for a place to stay. I (Victoria) am 25, originally from the UK and been living in Melbourne for the last 6 years. I work full time as a debt collection call centre team leader which makes me sound a lot scarier than I am... I promise I'm a nice person :) I am bubbly, outgoing and quite sociable however I appreciate my own space and privacy. I'm a clean, tidy and hygienic person to live with who is happy to help with shared cooking if desired. I like my life to be filled with laughter, conversations to be filled with real stuff and my company to enjoy the same. Sumaid is 24, originally from Pakistan and also been living in Melbourne for the last 6 years. Sumaid works full time in an Italian restaurant in the city. He is also an outgoing, sociable person that enjoys getting outdoors and experiencing everything the western world has to offer! We met here in Melbourne through a mutual friend back in December 2016 and have been dating ever since. We are looking for a room that would be big enough for two; furnished or unfurnished. We would ideally like to pay no more than $300 per week altogether ($150 pp, pw) with minimum bond if possible as we are currently paying off debts and saving to travel next year. We would be happy to pay full months worth of bond if able to be paid in two installments :) If you have anything suitable or are willing to negotiate, please get in contact. We will be happy to meet and see if we all gel with one another (errrr, I hate that saying). Thanks for reading! Vic
Hi, I'm Tenisha and I'm looking for a room on the outer suburbs of Melbourne :). I'm 20 and I just finished my Bachelor of music and I have a part time job. I've never had a problem paying rent or bills and I've never paid them late. I do have a 1 year old cat, she's a complete sweetheart but she's really shy. (If I move, Ginny has to move as well, she's like my lungs and I can't live without her 😂) I play my guitar from time to time, enjoy going out with my friends but I'm not a party animal. I enjoy going to the pub for a drink and a meal and socialising with my house mates but do enjoy some alone time as well. If you think I'm the right housemate for you, please don't hesitate to send me a message :)
The bus is a 7 minute walk away and is 10 mins to Footscray Station and also goes right into the city. It goes every 15 mins from 6am til Midnight and is one of the best routes in Melbourne. There are two different Coles 10 minutes away with one in the heart of Footscray and the other at West Plaza which also has Aldi. There are a few cafes within walking distance and it’s just a really lovely area. Only looking to live with a female. No smokers.
Hi, my name is Finnlay. I'm looking for somewhere close to the city, easily accessible. I'm moving down from North Queensland to study music at AIM in Melbourne which is located in the CBD. A bit about myself - well I'm a muso. And I'm a bit of a hippy. I play lots of music as well as write and produce my own work. Recently I've been living the free life in camper van in Townsville. I'm very easy going and friendly. Might come across shy at first but underneath I'm just a happy and gentle person. I keep an open mind set when it comes to other people, and other people's lifestyle choices. I do not judge. I do tend to keep to myself most of the time, but I am looking forward to making new friends and developing a social network. When it comes to living with me I show respect just as I would expect to be respected. I clean up after myself and I stay very tidy. I respect the rules and chores/duties and I make it a high priority to pay rent on time. Hoping to move sooner than later. Currently I am still in North Queensland but am very eager to move down and start my new life in Melbourne.
Hey Guys, I'm a 27 year old quiet female just needing to find somewhere to live. I am into fitness and love exploring all of the burger and coffee places that Melbourne has to offer. I am clean and tidy and also respect personal space as I also do like my alone time. Look forward to hearing from you soon :)
Hello. I'm a graduate nurse starting work in the Western suburbs. I am pretty quiet, mostly keep to myself, but happy to have a chat. I am a non-smoker, enjoy a couple of drinks, enjoy movies especially horror, tv shows, games, love cooking and would happily share food. I will be new to the area so I might spend days off out and about. Prefer furnished room but also okay with not furnished. Also, ideally close to any of the stations on the Sunbury line, preferably between Sunshine and Footscray as I will rely heavily on public transport. *I am only able to move in first week of April. Thank you.*
Hello, I am looking for a place to stay, short term or long term in the Melbourne area, and also looking for work as well in the electronics industry. Thank you, Peter

Hi all! I have a large master bedroom in a modern house in Maidstone... with walk-in robe, *ensuite bathroom* and a giant Giselle (can explain). Furnished with queen-sized bed, linen, desk and office chair. Available from Thursday, March 22 for the medium-term foreseeable future (I'm living overseas and will eventually move back, but not any time soon). May suit someone who has just moved to Melbourne and needs something to get started. Rent per week is $230 per week - $290 for couples - which covers all utilities (electricity, gas, water and internet). Best of all, you get to live with Gisele: the life-sized feature splash I took home with me when I quit my job at Versace 😂 You'll never feel alone in this room. I'm 2kms away from Highpoint, Australia's third-biggest shopping centre, and Footscray (Melbourne's Asian food capital, haha) is a short bus ride away 🙂 Parking on the street is always available and unmetered. The communal spaces are quite large. In addition to the two bathrooms, there’s also a separate bathtub room downstairs, and the house also has a dishwasher and laundry machine! The other two rooms are occupied by a couple (late 20s, both very active and down-to earth) and a gay guy (early 20s, creative and friendly). It's a harmonious environment, so we'd be looking for someone who is easy to get along with, social - but not too loud or crazy! Flick me a message if you might be interested or wish to know more! Before getting in touch, if you’re without a car, please plug “Scovell Reserve” into your maps and check the commute time from wherever you work/socialise is suitable. That’s probably the one main drawback, that we don’t have a train station in walking distance (it’s the aforementioned short bus ride to Footscray)... but other aspects of living here make up for that, haha.

Leaving Perth to hopefully get a music career rolling in the heart of the arts, Melbourne. I've been living in shared accommodation for 4 years and have always been blessed with lovely housemates. I love when a house feels like a second family with that perfect mix of interaction and privacy. I could write plenty more about myself but I'm sure we can all agree meeting in person is much better! I can assure you I'm a friendly housemate who will bring good vibes and I'm looking forward to meeting some new friends. Cheers lovelies xoxo
