Hi, I'm Catherine. I'm starting a new public service job in Canberra in early Feb so I'm looking for a new home. I'm from Melbourne, and am planning on heading up to the ACT late Jan, but can be flexible and come earlier if that works too. I like the outdoors and the snow, bushwalking and running and I'm looking forward to exploring some of the cafes around Canberra. I'm fairly quiet these days, I don't drink, so I'm not looking for a party house. However, I'd love a chat and a coffee with my housemates. I love cats, so if you have one that's a plus!
I am a late 20s full time professional who is transferring from a military career into consulting work with Accenture Australia. I am originally from the country and enjoy a variety of past times including Cycling, Boxing, Gym, Tinkering with my car or computer and drinking fancy beer. I am a bit of a techie but also love to debate over politics and world news or the latest netflix. I will admit I am not a incredibly funny or party loving person but I am reliable for just about anything that needs doing (like finding out why our net is out again and paying rent on time). I have an old listing on here but I need to update. Send me a message!
My name is Arius, I've been in Canberra awhile now and work as an environmental lawyer. I'm definitely a stress-free housemate, like to keep my home tidy and share the odd meal either at home or at the pub. I keep busy rock climbing and hiking and other outdoor pursuits.
Hi! I’m Tora and looking for someone to be the Rachel to my Monica! I’ll be moving to ACT for a Masters course at ANU and would love a room mate. I’m super organised, laugh at my own jokes (and occasionally other people’s) and just like the company of others. I can’t cook to save my life but I’m FANTASTIC at ordering from Menulog 👌🏻 I’m doing first lot of house inspections in ACT Sat 13/1 with more to come. Can’t wait to meet my future room mate!
Hi, I am Berik from Kazakhstan. I will study PhD in International Relations at ANU and commence on Jan 3. Would like to find a room in a walking distance near ANU. Most of the time I will be studying. I am easy going will join to any fun, open-minded, and tidy. Like running, netflixing and sometimes just chilling.
Hello I'm Becca. I'm currently in my second year of my Undergrad degree at UC. I study Writing, and am looking to be a published Poet/Author some day. I am a quiet person who enjoys small gatherings, and am always up for a chat. Other than writing I've a passion for Karate which I teach to Kids at my club twice a week. I enjoy physical activities very much, especially walking, swimming and Yin Yoga, so if anyone wants an exercise buddy too I'm more than happy help out :)
I am a enthusiastic person who loves to socialize with new people. Nevertheless, I also understand personal space, and will not impose. I am a student of international relations and diplomacy and as such am interested in politics, human rights issues, etc. Before I started this Master I completed my Masters in History as well. So if you like to talk about medieval times, that is absolutely fine by me. Don't worry, I am capable of talking about other things as well. I am staying in Australia for 3 months to conduct an internship at the Belgian Embassy and hope to make some new friends while doing so. Greetings ;) Ine
I am clean and tidy. I always pull my weight with house work and pay my bills on time. I enjoy cooking, baking, craft projects, board games and curling up with a book and a cup of tea. I am often up for a chat but also like my privacy.
Law graduate heading over from Melbourne to start in one of the APS Graduate programs in Canberra. I am a clean, respectful and environmentally conscious person who knows how to balance my downtime with a good wine and cheese night :D I love brunch, all animals, bush-walking, binge-watching some of my favourite series and getting angry at current socio-political events. Hate a dirty kitchen and would love to play cards against humanity with my housemates :)
Hey all - I'm a PhD student at ANU, currently living in a great place in Turner, but my housemate / landlord is moving interstate at the end of January, so I'm looking for places in the inner North within cycle commute range of uni! I'm super diligent about household upkeep, generally pretty chill, have a few pieces of whitegoods should they be needed - anything else, please just ask!
Hi! I'm Alyce! I'm originally from the Gong but have moved to Canberra this year to start working for the public service. I'm looking for a nice, clean, friendly share house preferably in the inner north. Big on travel, exercise, dogs, the outdoors and the usual :) I'm looking to move in to a place by the end of this week or next week (22jan). Looking to start a share place together or a place that's already established. I completely respect people wanting time for themselves and space but I’m looking for a flatmate who wants to be friends too. Hit me up for more info Cheers!
I'm a recent uni graduate moving to Canberra to work in the public service for a year-long program. I'm reliable, tidy and social, I like sharing meals, meeting interesting people or having chats and a laugh over cups of tea but also respect the need for your own space. Looking to move in anytime before the 5th of Feb and excited about exploring Canberra and surrounds.
Hi there! I am a student moving to Canberra for 1 year to work while completing a postgraduate degree. I love animals but sadly will be leaving my dog at home. I am typically a quiet person when at home who prefers to relax by going outside or watching videos/movies. I clean up after myself and enjoy gardening and adding some green touches! I prefer to cook my own meals at home most of the time but do enjoy going out to try new places to eat. I will have a busy schedule so wish to find a place that is calm and quiet. Hope to be in touch soon!
Hi everyone, I am fulltime student at ANU looking for a single room. I'm very easy going and a social butterfly. I do not smoke but a social beer and wine drinker. 😊
I am a 27 year old primary school teacher that is easy-going and considerate. I am clean and tidy, hardworking, relaxed, and quite easy to get along with.
I'm from NSW Coast come to Canberra to study B Actuarial Studies and PPE. This would also be my last year in undergraduate (hopefully). I lived on campus at Ursula Hall for the first 3 years and then for the last year have been in share housing. I play tennis with the ANU Tennis club most days of the week (prob at least 5 out of 7 days) and cricket on summer weekends. Usually when i'm with my friends we're playing card/board games or table tennis, but just any casual fun. Other than that I'm pretty independent when i'm at home. Go on my computer, play games, watch movies etc. I also have a solid part time job when I'm not studying, and I bring a very small car with me - but don't need a carport or garage. The closer to ANU the better. Preferably within cycling distance. Keen for a place asap. Furnished a bonus.
Hello potential flatmates! I'm shifting to Canberra from India to study at the ANU starting from February 2018! In short, I'm am a history, language and culture enthusiast, always looking out for travel opportunities, known for cleanliness, enjoy binge watching (soccer, movies, dramas you name it!) and karaoke nights. As you may have probably guessed from my course, I hold an avid interest in studying languages, which means that you will find me interacting with you over a meal every now and then!
Hi there! I am a recent uni graduate moving to Canberra for work. I am looking for a room to lease for minimum 10 months with possible extension. I am friendly, easygoing female who likes to keep things tidy and has a plethora of bad jokes in her repertoire. In my downtime, I enjoy playing soccer, watching crime docs and making jewelry. I am looking forward to getting to know new people and to discover the place that is Canberra!
Hi, I'm Cameron. I'm working full time as an electronics engineer and moving for work starting on the 12th of February in Canberra's West, and looking for somewhere to call home. I'm currently living in a sharehouse and you will find me to be friendly, respectful, and easy to get along with. I'll keep the place reasonably tidy and pitch in for chores. I like enough of my own space, and respect that you probably do to, but otherwise tend to be up for a chat, even over a few drinks or a shared meals from time to time. I enjoy nerdy stuff like books and board games, but I also want to get out and explore our illustrious capital. So what am I after? I'd like to be within 20 minutes drive of work, 30 max (and obviously somewhere to park my car). Bonus points if I can cycle within 30-40 minutes too. (Preferred suburbs above are a guide only!) I'm after housemates who are easy to get along with, respectful, reasonably tidy, and will respect my need for enough of my own space and privacy. That said, I'm keen to live somewhere at least somewhat homely, so after housemates who want to hang out sometimes too. It's important that I meet (or at least talk to) all of the current housemates first. Also, I'm not interested in sharing with any couples (sorry!). The house will be big enough that I am able to have space from other people when I need it - whether or not much of that space is in my room. I also have my own bedroom furniture. Like what you see, but more questions? Don't hesitate to ask! I can also get you a reference from a current housemate on request.
