I am trustworthy, quiet, respectful, clean and tidy. I work 6 days per week. I am relocating from Darwin to start a new job in Canberra. My family will be relocating at the end of June. I enjoy eating out, socialising on week ends, I enjoy a glass of red wine. I would like to take up mountain bike riding.
I am fun loving person. I am part time student but,full-time working Monday to Friday. Most probably i do live most of out of house. I love pets if it's there. I have done Masters in Accounting and pursuing management degree at this stage. I do live in Melbourne and moving to Canberra for visa purpose.
I'm living in rural nsw at the moment, near Boorowa and need a place to stay as I'm a first year full-time mechanic at Gulson's Porsche in Fyshwick. I'm also currently in my third year studying psychology by distance and therefore can't be doing the hour and a half drive to and from work every day. I am a pretty carefree person, in to music/reading/tv/gym. i also have a cat named Clause
Dog friendly comfortable share house in the inner north. Hackett shops are only 2 mins walk away. Dickson shops is only 5 mins bike ride and civic only 20 min. The Mt Ainslie nature reserve is at the end of the road and Kangaroos hop down the street in the afternoon.
My name is Szymon and I'm starting my full-time PhD studies in philosophy at ANU late February. I'm 28 yo and Polish. People say I'm fun; I don't intend to be too fun though and I spend most of the time reading/writing. I've got a generous scholarship, so don't worry about me paying rent on time or something. I have an office at ANU and I will be working from there (or from a library). When at home, I sleep a lot, like to cook (mostly vege but I'm very flexible in terms of food) and read. The noisiest think I can imagine doing are pushups or sneeze. I'm tidy, great at small-talks and a left-bottom on the political compass. I'm not an extrovert or something and I have the deepest respect for people's privacy. I don't party a lot, I prefer to grab a beer in my place and have a chat about politics, literature, music etc.
I am clean and tidy. I always pull my weight with house work and pay my bills on time. I enjoy cooking, baking, craft projects, board games and curling up with a book and a cup of tea. I am often up for a chat but also like my privacy.
Fun, tidy and easy-going, I'm a bit of a goofball, I love music, books, art and gardening. I'll talk with anyone about most anything. Grew up in rural NSW but have lived in Canberra for 2 years. I've been in many share houses over the years and I will always do my part when it comes to keeping the place clean and respecting the space of others. I appreciate good hygiene practices. I enjoy/need my quiet time and may have quiet days, but also love to sit around with a beer or glass of wine and have a chat. In my down time, I usually spend time in the garden, going for walks, or reading and I love heading out for a drink and a boogie occasionally. I am currently studying horticulture at the CIT. Looking to find either a room in an established house or teaming up with some people to form a new share house. Looking to live in the inner North or South of the city. I have a lot of furniture that I can bring along, as well as a pretty decent record collection. Flexible on move date, anytime from now. Have two cute kitties (Fernando and Harley) that I'd love to move with, but no hassle if not.
My name is Emilia, I've been in Canberra for almost a year now and work full time at a university. I'm looking to find a nice and friendly sharehouse that I can call my home for a little while :) I've sharehoused previously. I'm neat and tidy, I like to catch up and have a chat with housemates at the end of the day but also keep pretty busy trying to get out for a walk or some yoga after work, and respect the need for down time.
I am pretty easy going, I moved to Canberra in 2011 for Uni and just haven't left. I enjoy time to myself but I love a group dinner and good conversation. I do currently have a pet Guinea pig, he doesn't take up much space and at the moment lives in an indoor appropriate cage on a covered deck. My partner and I don't live together although he stays overnight a few times a week, we're both fairly quiet people and always respectful of other peoples space. I'm looking for somewhere to rent until at least late August when I'm hoping to move overseas to study.
Hi all, I'm a 2nd yr ANU/ACU cross-inst student. Pretty easy going, non-smoking gal. I work casually as a bartender. I like to be tidy, am LGBTQI+ friendly, up for sharing a meal and a chat but also respect people's privacy. Preferably looking for somewhere closely located to one uni or the other with my own bathroom. Am more of a dog person rather than a cat person. Cheers
Hi, I'm passionate about recycling, helping out, great at fixing things, and have a very sociable Jack Russell who loves attention and a ball. Currently renting in Gungahlin (last 14 months), I work full time in Civic (I.T.), and want to be closer to work so I can ride my bike ($16.70 for parking is ridiculous). I spend some weekends at coast or camping/visiting friends/kids interstate. Looking for a place that has a secure outside yard and a space to park the car.
We are looking for a place in Northern Canberra. We both have lived in share accommodation for quite a while. (we know how to clean). We are outgoing and outdoorsy and happy to meet new people. We're both decent cooks and like having a communal meal a few times a week. Some things that we like to get up to are surfing, rock climbing and snorkeling/diving. I like playing boardgames, knitting, gymnastics and my boyfriend likes brewing beer, and fishing. My boyfriend works in Dickson as a WHS consultant and I have just moved over from Germany where I was working as a process engineer and am about to enter the Aus job market. As there will be two of us, I understand we'll need to contribute to the bills, just let us know what you would think is fair. Our maximum per week would be about 200$ per week.
Hi, I am a Sri Lankan and a current PhD Student at ANU. I am very social, fun-loving and willing to make new friends. And, more importantly, I would say I am too clean and tidy. I love cooking and also enjoy cleaning and housework. I am looking for a room in a house, preferably close to the university with no pets. Thank you.
I'm a funny guy, loves cooking and I'm very tidy. I like doing sports and chat while drinking an occasional beer or a glass of wine.
Hello! I have recently graduated from ANU with a degree in Criminology. I currently work part-time at JB HiFi while trying to find a full-time job. I live in Canberra but am from the South Coast, so love swimming and the beach. I am a nice, tidy, friendly person who is always up for a chat/dinner/drinks/board games but also likes some time to myself. I can also hook you up with some sweet discounts at JB HiFi if you're inclined. Overall I'd be awesome to live with.
Hi! I recently finished my undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology at the University of Newcastle and have been offered a full-time job in Canberra. Since I will be moving to a new place, I am keen to explore Canberra and meet new people. Although I like some alone time, I am keen to live with others who will be up for a chat, exploring Canberra and being friends as well as housemates. I have lived with numerous housemates before and haven't had any problems. I am clean, friendly and and respectful of others and am looking for housemates with these same qualities.
Female, full time student, studying law. In my final year and applying for internships. Part time working in retail and keen to move on up and out into the law field asap. I keep to myself most of the time. Though I do like the regular movie night and training sessions. I have a dog, titan, that's in training for mind dog program. So he is well behaved, house trained and loving. Would love to remain living in Canberra but it's getting pretty hard to find pet friendly accom as a one person. North Canberra would be my preference... anywhere lol. Keen for team ups
Hi, im a clean living, easy going and friendly guy . I'm a non smoker. I'm happy to help out around the home as required, being used to housework and cleaning etc. I work full time in the city as a public servant, I've been with the same agency for over 12 years. Im respectful of the privacy of other room mates yet sociable.
As a person I am very easy going, tidy and respectful to others. I am currently a single male at my early 30's. While I prefer having a private room where I can relax and study, I also love watching movies, listening music (off course in low volume), jogging, and playing outdoor games. I'm not really into big parties, but I'm always in for sitting together in a cozy group with my friends.
I'm searching for a new place to live in the Inner North of Canberra as it has lots to do and it is close to everywhere I normally need to be. I've lived and worked in lots of strange places with a huge variety of people over the years. Some of them were party houses which was cool at the time but I could do without it now. Mostly I am working and studying, not making much noise though I do like a good chat and friends dropping in is fine with me. I also get out of town whenever I can, especially between semesters. If you think we can help each other, send a message.
The best word to describe me would be relaxed. I get along with most people and am very accommodating of different wants and needs - I want to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable in their home. I keep to myself for the most part but I'm always happy to chat and a laugh (about 80% of what I say is a joke, I'm having a tough time writing this up so seriously). I run my own business so I mostly work from home but I have an office in the city that I usually work from 2 days a week. Otherwise, I spend most of my time gaming, reading and listening to/making music (usually with headphones). I also love nature, climbing, hiking and camping. I'm a night owl, usually up until 3AM or so but I'm very quiet and make sure I'm not disturbing people. I'm a fairly neat and tidy person and I like to keep a clean kitchen but I'm definitely not a neat-freak. I've happily adjusted to different cleanliness standards before from very high to reasonably low and I'm more than willing to put in more effort if that's your preference. I believe most issues that pop up between housemates can be solved with good communication. I've lived in a few sharehouses in Canberra over the years, big and small groups and different gender splits, so I'm fairly experienced. If that all sounds good to you I'm sure we'll get along well :)
