All bills included, fully furnished, peaceful. We have a very large room to offer in December, and possibly one in January, which share a bathroom with other females, so it will suit a female only. Not in a rush to find a new housemate as this house is popular with students and the room will be taken by Jan/Feb, but we are willing to welcome you if you want a peaceful place and are considerate. The rooms are spacious, private and comfortable, come fully furnished including linen and electric blanket for winter, bedside table and lamp, desk and office chair, built-in wardrobe, large chest of drawers, key lock door and privacy latch, and a self programmable safe for valuables (laptop size). It has ducted heating for winter and cooling for summer. The WiFi signal is strong in these room. All bills are covered, including unlimited fast internet (fastest speed in Australia). The house has spacious living areas for you to spread out and relax, modern furniture, two dining areas, two relaxing areas, a fully equipped kitchen and is always clean and tidy. We are friendly and easy to chat with, but also respect your privacy and quiet times. The house environment is very safe, stable and private, so you can be assured to have a peaceful stay. It is also a quiet place and is study, relaxation and sleep conducive. The home is well situated with good public transport links, direct buses to Curtin Uni and Canning Bridge train station every 5 minutes in peak hours (bus stop 1 minute walk), a direct bus from the city stops on the driveway, easy access to the freeway, off street parking, and a new bicycle which you can use. If you don't have a car, we'll be happy to take you grocery shopping 😊. Manning is a safe suburb but the house has additional security features like a cctv system for the outsides, alarm and a video intercom for the front door. This place is close to a library, a few different parks, an easy walk to the river, Waterford Plaza (1 km), and also Manning shops (600m). Cleaning of common areas is provided. We offer an exceptionally peaceful home environment... but it will not suit people with a lot of furniture or pets (really sorry). Any questions? Feel free to ask. Secure and Private room Safe, clean and tidy house Peaceful and quiet place More photos available on request Suitable for someone who wants to feel at home.
I am from Singapore and I will be starting my study at Curtin University coming February. In my home, I'd have to share most of the utilities in our apartment with five of my family members (and a cat, haha). Hence, I can say that I am good at compromising and sharing. I am also a tidy person. I might be shy at first but I'm fun once I am comfortable. I respect people's privacy and I will be a considerate roommate. I love animals and I work with animals in Singapore. I would prefer to share the house with girls or a mix of girls and guys.
Hi, I am a bubbly, easy going person who works full-time and studies. I am easy to get along with and love good company. I am busy but enjoy relaxing and winding down with friends.
I work full-time as an OT, so during the week I am super busy! I enjoy spending my weekends chilling out, or catching up with friends for a coffee. I'm definitely not a party animal!! I'm happy to live with pets, and would love to live with like minded people who love having a chat :) My partner lives interstate, and may visit for the weekend every ~ 2 months, so I'd like housemates to be cool with that.
Hi! I'm Suzie, I am a student at Murdoch university, I am just finishing my 2nd year and I am looking for place to live for at least a year. I am a fairly easy going, relaxed person. I like socialising but I enjoy my own space at the end of the day.
I'm an employed 28 year-old engineer who relocated permanently to Perth from Malaysia last November. Have lived with my current housemate for almost a year now with no problem as I am easy-going, considerate, respectful, neat and tidy. She can attest to that :) I'm moving because she will be moving back to Bunbury with her husband once the lease ends. I believe in the saying 'Don't do to others what you don't want to be done to you', hence I appreciate sincerity and honesty. I enjoy video games (have a PS4 but don't worry I will not fight for the TV as I have my own), going on amazing road trips, beaches, coffee-hunting, keeping fit and planning to take up guitar in due time (I promise to keep it quiet!!). I'm open to different adventures and activities as I'm excited to explore this beautiful new place I'll be living in for awhile. Though I am always down for adventures or night-outs, I also enjoy a quiet night in with movies and respect personal space. Not a FIFO but my work occasionally requires me to go offshore 1-2 weeks at a time. I'm looking for a room with a budget of 160-170pw (no bills included) or 180-200pw (bills included). Room doesn't have to be furnished as again, I have my own furnitures but preferably with good-sized BIR and able to fit queen size bed, a desk and bookshelf/ dresser (I might have to choose between the two :( if it doesn't fit). And sorry, I would prefer only females but couples excepted.
I'm a female Curtin Uni student who likes Netflix, being active and new adventures :) as far as living with me, I am clean, tidy and pretty quiet especially during the semester as i get very busy, but always happy to meet new people as well/mingle/hang out! my ideal housemate is fun and friendly :)
I am a 20 year old social work student. I am clean and tidy and am not big on partying. I have a great group of friends who enjoy board game/dinner nights at home. I am really easy going and social but definitely love my own space as well. Originally from down south so occasionally go home to visit my family. I have been living on campus at Uni for this first year but am looking to move into a house. Looking to move at the start of next year-Thanks! (Ps my name is pronounced like Elisha)
Enthusiastic and chaotic but tidy 28 year old Msc student from The Netherlands. In Perth for a research project at Curtin Uni. Looking for a place to stay but just as much for some nice flatmates to share the occasional glass of red. Not the biggest party animal but always keen to go on an adventure. I have lived in shared houses before and it's been really good. Not here for long, so a furnished room would be easy but perhaps a teamup could be worth the effort if with the right people. I suggest we grab a coffee or so to see if we match! :)
I work in hospitality, and am a neat, friendly and social person. I have lived in a share house before, so I understand the balance of socialising and having private space in this situation. I was also good at paying bills and rent on time, so no worries there! I have lived my entire life in Western Australia, and like to sing, read, eat out, go to quiz nights and socialise.
Como is a great place, very near the city and the river is 5 v min walk from the house. Canning Bridge railway station is a 2 min drive from here. The area is far enough away to be quiet and feel like you are in your own hideaway on the weekends. All amenities and schools are close by.
Large Queen room with large mirrored wardrobes with plenty of storage. Main bathroom with bath is yours. Air conditioned. Lock up garage off street parking and use of shed and storeroom. Nice view of the garden from a very private and quiet room. Direct access to Canning River foreshore and parkland. This is my home. I am looking for a quiet and mature person for a bit of company and to occupy the house whilst I am away. Suit students as Curtin is 5 minutes away. Public transport 2 minutes away. Local IGA and Waterford Plaza close by. Can be either furnished or not with TV if needed, and use of all houseold equiptment. There is a garden, frog pond, pizza oven, BBQ and patio.
Quiet area, close to buses 31, 910, 101, Canning Bridge train station, close to Curtin Uni, close to river and beautiful parks. Room has king single bed, study desk, mirror, clothes hanger, floor boards, ceiling fan, opens on to courtyard. House is friendly, colourful and relaxed.
Hi I'm Frances and I'll be moving to Perth for from the 24th of November until the 15th of February for a studentship at Curtin University! I'm originally from Sydney, but have lived in Canberra for the past 4 years in student residences and sharehouses. I'm laid back and enjoy socialising with my fellow housemates but also enjoy my own downtime. I'd be keen to join a sharehouse for a 3 month period while I study in Perth!
Hi all! I will be starting school at Curtin in Jan 2019 (Masters in OT). I will be moving to Perth from Singapore in early December 2018. I love spending my free time outdoors, hiking or chilling quietly. When I’m home, I’ll usually either binge watch shows or catch up on my readings, and occasionally I’ll whip up a storm in the kitchen when I feel like it! Don’t worry though, I clean as I go as I can’t stand a messy counter top. Do send me a message (here if you have early bird access or via Instagram - elizbth) if you’d like to discuss anything. Thanks!
Nice and cosy furnished room in a granny flat. Bathroom and laundry is shared with 1 housemate. This is a comfortable and peaceful place ideally located close to the city and to Curtin University. Hop on the free shuttle bus from Curtin. Only a 4 minutes walk to public transport and to the Waterford shopping centre. Walking distance to the river. We have a spacious courtyard to relax and enjoy sunny days. Rent includes internet.
Hi, I am looking for a responsible individual who keeps things in their default state, while I ensure everything is clean, tidy and working by default. This way we live in a carefree environment. I am offering a room in Karawara, near Curtin University, Technology Park and Waterford Plaza. We already got a cat, so we are unfortunately not keen on anymore pets. We also have 1 garage spot or 1 other parking spot behind the gate. The room is large and already contains (can remove if you have your own furniture): - a double bed - a work desk - a closet - a window - carpet flooring - and extra space to spare It's a nice big house, these are what you can take advantage of: - Unlimited NBN internet (Fibre To The Premise) - a dedicated confined kitchen room, with a shared large fridge - a large living and dining area (tile flooring) - bathroom and toilet shared between you and 2 other people - a parking space within the walls of the property if you require (not covered from rain) - located 1.5km from Curtin Carpark D3 (if you are a student) - located 1.4km from Technology Park - 7 minutes walk to Waterford Plaza - near bus stop - near city (15min by car, 30min by bus)
I am working full time and studying nursing full time, Not a huge partier, usually have work early mornings so I don’t go out during the week, Quite social on weekends. Looking for females or males around my age. also happy to do teamups. If that is something you would be interested in, please message me :)
25 y/o student at Curtin, who also works part-time for the unviersity during the semester and full-time during the break. I'm just a well-rounded and easy-going guy! Looking to commit for a maximum of 3-4ish months, and then re-consider as I'm not sure where I will be at over the summer break - vacation etc. If you have something within easy reach to Curtin, as I don't drive - let me know. Matt
i'm pretty easy to get along with, tidy, considerate and respectful and currently studying in curtin uni. I do enjoy sports and gym and would be down for any kind of advantures! Not really a house party guy but occasionally do enjoy some drinking in the house. If you feel like we could get along really well or looking to team-up don't hesitate to leave me a message!
Heya! I'm Shannon, currently studying full time at Curtin Uni. I have two jobs, one at a theme park and one at a restaurant and am usually quite busy. I like to bake, travel, read, watch movies and shows, have a drink with friends and play sport. I am a tidy person and clean up after myself. I am friendly and love having a chat with people, but I also like my own space at times. I am easy-going, considerate and respectful of other people's space. Looking to move out to be closer to work and uni.
So a bit about myself; my name is Vanny, I’m 33 years old and work full time as a real estate photographer/videographer for various agencies in Perth. I’m originally from Sydney, lived in Canberra for the last 6 years and recently moved to Perth 6 months ago. I’ve yet to venture out to see what this place has to offer but really looking forward to seeing some of the beaches in WA. There aren’t too many beaches in Canberra….and by that I mean zero beaches. Grew up with dogs so don’t mind living with someone who owns a dog or 2 so long as I get to pat and play with them as well. I consider myself a clean and tidy person; during the course of my work I get to visit some immaculately presented homes, so I’ve gained an appreciation for a well kept house and gladly help out with the chores around the home.
Hi am Rohan, I am 31 year old (male) working professional (mechanical engineer) who absolutely loves to keep my place clean, am easy going, quite and completely respect others personal space. I am a no-party animal so wont be playing around loud music or wont have any guests coming in. I like to have a chat at the end of day may be with a beer or 2 on the weekends. Enjoys watching movies and exploring new places. I will be moving to Perth on the 6th of November 2018 and am looking for a long term accommodation, preferably six months. I am looking for flat share/ house share with following preferences, - Furnished room - Close to public transport - Preferably in South Perth, Como - Unlimited internet and all bills included in the rent scenario Am looking for flatmates who are friendly, quite, no party animals and most importantly - tidy. Thanks, Rohan
I am a full-time science teacher. I am clean & tidy. I spend most of my time out of the house. I am polite, respectful, and easy going. I am Australian and grew up in Perth. I enjoy sport/fitness and live a healthy outdoor lifestyle.
Hello I am 23 year old happy, bubbly, social person who enjoys the company of others but also enjoy my own time. I work as an occupational Therapist full time Monday-Friday and sometimes Saturdays. I enjoy spending time with friends, going to the beach, playing basketball, going to the gym daily and having a glass of wine or three on weekends. I’m wanting to live with people around my age with similar interests so we can become friends as well as flatmates.
Hey future housemates, I've spent the last two years living in Bateman, and my housemates won't be renewing the lease. Therefore, I am on the lookout for an unfurnished room from the beginning of December (last week of November if it comes to it - my lease runs out on the 16th of Dec) and would prefer something long term. Overall, I'm a pretty cruisey housemate. I am one to appreciate a clean household (rarely will you see my dishes pile up), loves a bit of after work banter over a few subtle drinks and aims to get out of the house over the weekends. I am currently working full time, and my new position will require me to travel to the CBD via public transport (being close to bus ports or the train station will be a plus). Would prefer the below locations but open to suggestions.
Really funny, I make good NutriBullet smoothies, I'm easy to live with, and I have steam mop that can steam clean anything. I am an Engineer for Baker Hughes so for the most part I have the classic 9-5 weekdays And I’m from America but have lived in Perth for 3 years
