Hi there, I am looking for a room to rent for three to six months initially while I re-establish myself in my home town after travel and working interstate over the last couple of years. I'm a single professional in my mid-40s, used to share house living and looking for friendly but independent co-habitation. Furnished room is fine in the short term, and if I am to stay in Adelaide again permanently I'd like to settle in with my own things at some stage too. So at this point, I'm looking for short[ish] term living arrangements but open to something that might become longer term if the circumstances are right. Happy to chat with interested people. Taryn
I’m currently living at Hyde Park and looking to move at the end of Jan when my lease runs out. I’m working full-time as a paralegal in the city so would ideally love to keep close to work. I have made some incredible friends with housemates that I have lived with in the past and enjoy hanging out with the people I live with! I’m respectful and like to keep fit, but would never say no to wine and a cheese platter :)
Friendly, clean, tidy and respectful of others. Am sociable but also like my own space. Enjoy wine and watching tv shows/movies. Love being outside and going for hikes or to the beach. Am a nurse and do shift work so do some odd hours. My current lease is up end of February so looking for a place around that time.
Hi there, My name is Alex. My girlfriend and I (both from Venezuela) are moving to Adelaide on the 20th of January from Brisbane. I've been living in Australia since 2014 (Brisbane) and my girlfriend since 2016 (Brisbane as well). I'm gonna start a motor mechanic course in TAFE SA. That's the reason why we are moving there. This is gonna be a big change for us. Many people have told us that Adelaide is a small but spectacular city. That's why we are so exited about this new adventure. We will be living there for at least 2 years (my student Visa is until 2020) and we wanna find a very good place to live no far from city and the TAFE Campus (Regency PARK). We really like have our privacy and in case we are sharing house we prefer 1 or 2 people to share with. Most of the time we are not at home. Usually we are working or studying but when we have free time we really enjoy staying at home watching movies and resting. We are very easy going but definitely not party people. If our profile likes you, please do not hesitate to ask me or my girlfriend more questions if you need. Thanks in advance and hope you have a good one.
I study at uni full-time, I'm pretty laid back, organised, and I always clean up after myself. I'm fairly quiet Monday to Thursday, but I do enjoy going places and having a drink on weekends. Ideally, I'm looking for an unfurnished room between $110 and $160 p/week with a stay of 6 months to a year+
Hi, my name is Jimmy, my partner Tammy. Both of us are from Taiwan. Super friendly, easy going and always respect our housemate. I like drinking a couple of beers during and after dinner. Listening to music, watching movies and playing consoles are my hobbies on day off. I am a chef, always finishes work then comes home around 10-11pm. Tammy, my partner. Enjoy quiet atmosphere, like dogs, hobby is sleeping, love tidy and clean, actually, have high standard of clean. She is very friendly, considerable. We live in Broadview now but has to move since our landlord is gonna sell her house. We prefer new accommondation is very clean and tidy, quiet, no party animal, no smoking inside house, wish dishes after use, put things in order after use. Both of us are natural, easy going, love dogs so much, like to keep everything clean.
Quiet house on a quiet street, with a nice low maintenance yard. The house is fully furnished. The room is standard size with built in robes just bring your bed! Close to local shopping centre, bus stop only 2 minute walk and 10 minutes from the city. Cafes and takeout just around the corner. Netflix, Stan and Foxtel access is negotiable.
The room which is available is carpeted, has built in robes, and is very close to the bathroom. The room is unfurnished so you will be able to organise the room as you like. I have also put a double bed in the room too which you can use. The unit is also very close to the Klemzig interchange which is a 5 minute drive from the house which takes you straight into the city or there is a bus which is a 5 minute walk which also takes you straight to the city. The flat is massive and has a huge backyard which will be great in summer for barbecues.
Don't miss out on this fantastic student accommodation offered in this near city location. There are several bus routes to the city available and only a very short distance from the house. It is very simple, quick and easy to commute into the city and lots of students buy a bike to get around. You can join onto the Linear Park river track to commute into the city or follow it further to reach one of our beautiful beaches. With only 3 bedrooms, you can enjoy a less hectic household but still get to know other students from other locations. Or maybe there is a group of you who would love to share the house and rent a room each. This is a 2 storey home with living areas on the lower level and bedrooms and bathroom with separate WC on the upper level. Relax in the living room and watch TV or catch up on some study. The kitchen and dining area offers plenty of space for cooking & enjoying your own or shared meals and leads out to the lovely rear garden where you can enjoy our beautiful weather days with a coffee or BBQ together. There is a dishwasher for your extra convenience. There will be 2 single rooms and 1 master room available. The master room would suit a couple and has a king size bed. I’m quite, friendly but keep to myself. I’m a lot more comfortable chilling out at home then going out and it’s very unlikely I’ll be home late 😂 I work Full time as a child care educator and have a kitty called Charlie who is very cuddly but keeps to himself 😊 I’m on a delivered meal plan weekly so i won’t be making many dishes but I am a very clean person anyway who looks after themselves. 😊
quiet, considerate, friendly. I am looking for a quiet place with good vibes. I am a non-drinker, so I'll be happy to share a cup of tea at the end of the day. I am sociable, up for having a chat but not as a must. I like to live in a clean environment, but don't keep tidying up obsessively. I like to do quiet things in my spare time, like reading, meditating, watching films with my headset on, so places where the TV is the central 'altar piece' in the house and is always on, don't really suit me. I am a teacher working in the CBD.
all the things are very new and clean, hope to find a kind guy who will protect this with us. we live next to a primary school so the house is very safe. the available room is a master room so it is quite big. it has a own bathroom and dressing room and it is quite cheap under this situation. if you are a couple, I will increase the rent to 200 per week, so I still prefer to have a single flatmate and I can offer you the cheap price!
Hard working student. Pretty much busy with studies and work all week. Looking for a place that's nice and relaxed. I enjoy heading out on the weekend for a few drinks. I'm very tidy and always clean up after myself as I go along. I'd prefer to live in a house with no more than 4 housemates. I love dogs so if you have a dog that's a bonus. I love music, soccer, cricket and travelling around South Australia exploring new places.
After living on my own for a year I’m now looking to move into a space with one or two like minded women to save money before moving in with my partner. I’m very social and normally you’ll find me instagramming my food (yes I’m THAT person) or binge watching Rick and Morty. I work six days a week at a film studio and a fashion boutique and usually spend my days off doing modelling or acting work or having brunch with my friends. Most nights I eat simple meals but I’m a great cook if i’m making food for someone else as well. I like to keep my personal space clean , although I do get busy so things may not always get done straight away. I also value honesty, so if I’m doing something to throw your living space off I want to know! I believe in surrounding myself with positive people so I don’t want to live with addicts, alcoholics or unstable people. I’m hard worker and appreciate down time but after living alone I’m looking forward to company! I promise I’m not high maintenance, I’m pretty flexible with most things and happy to discuss things up front and logically. Just looking for girls who want to live in a positive space and pretend we’re adults. Outdoor smoker trying to quit, I rarely get moody, I like conversations over coffee, I rarely drink, I will probably try and feed you a lot. Since I’ve been living alone I have all the basics, decent fridge, average tv and my lounge room/dining looks like a fantastic furniture/Kmart brochure. I don’t have a washing machine and would prefer not to buy one as I want to move in with my partner somewhere down the track (possibly August-October) If you’re wanting to live with someone who likes their house to look nice, have people over for dinner parties or someone to watch Netflix with, I’m your girl!
My roommate Alice and i are looking to for a third roommate. We are currently looking to move in to a 3 bedroom house in the areas around prospect and enfield no more that $370 a week all up. We are both in our early 20s working/ studying. We like having a relaxed, clean, and stress free house. If you are interested let me know and I can give you more details.
Hey guys, I'm 22 years old and work in hospitality. I've lived in my current share house for almost 3 years, with a few different housemates over that time. I'm thinking its now the right time to move a bit closer to the city, since i don't drive it will save me a lot of time and hassle. My lease officially ends late February but I'm hoping to move a week or two earlier so we wont have to rush and clean around furniture for the end of lease inspection. I'm generally a quiet person who enjoys reading and binge watching tv series, but I'm also friendly and mostly always up for a chat. If you think your house may be what I'm looking for, or if you have any questions feel free to message me :)
We have 1 very large room avalible in a big house in Walkerville. 4 bedrooms (inc one spare for guests), 2 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, large kitchen, laundry, wine cellar, large 4 car shed, plenty of off street parking, spa, combustion fire, rainwater tanks, large backyard.
My name is Stacey, I work in dental and about to begin study. I don’t go out or drink a lot, like my personal space but I’m very easy going and like to go with the flow, just here to explore my options as can’t afford to continue leasing on my own. I have a pet dog (2 year old kelpie) who won’t have to live with me but I do need a place where he can come stay if and when I like.. he is well trained and good with all people!
i'm an easygoing type of person, i enjoy meeting new people and learning from them. I am not a smoker and i have no pets and most definitely neat, tidy and pretty responsible. Looking forward to meeting you 'future house mate'*smiley face
