Marryatville is a tiny, green and quiet suburb next to Norwood that only the locals know about. Direct to the city by bike or bus stop at the end of the street. Shops, deco cinema, bakeries, bars, pubs, parks, and cafes in the local area and only 5 minutes walk. The house is situated on First Creek so a lovely little bridge to trundle over. Lovely light filled home with a beautiful courtyard garden. Marryatville is also walking distance to the The Parade. Single or double bedroom with a large window Air conditioned plus central heating. Shower + Bath + Laundry with Washing machine + Clothes dryer. Internet access included. Living space is shared with living, dining and kitchen. If wanted some furnishings can be included. At the moment there is a single bed, medium-sized study desk, shelves, clothes rack. The room could fit a double and can help with that too. I only use natural products so people who like to use chemicals sprays or heavy perfumes need not apply. : ) It's a peaceful, lush setting and a great neighborhood, very safe. Easily accessible to shops and city by bike. Right next to Marryatville highschool. Happy to have someone stay for a couple of months initially until June, or up to the end of 2017 with the possibility to take over the lease. Suit student.
I love animals, art, reading, health and cooking (: I'm clean and quiet so I've been told easy to live with haha This is my first year out of boarding school so wherever I move would be my first place away from home (: I'm originally from Perth but fell in love with Adelaide when I starting boarding and have always hoped to live here!

Hi all! I have a room in Kensington available now. The room is approximately 3.5m x 3.8m, has a large window, high ceilings, floorboards, and is at the front of the house. There are 3 bedrooms in total, with 2 bathrooms - one with a shower, toilet and is also the laundry, the other with a toilet and bath. Huge enclosed backyard with 2 chicken coops (currently unused). The location is great - just off kensington road the house is a short (300m according to google maps) walk from shops and the marryatville hotel. Close to public transport too. Rent is $140pw not including bills which are split evenly 3 ways. Bond is $400. The room will be unfurnished, the house itself is mostly furnished but there's plenty of room if you want to add things. The washing machine and microwave will be leaving with my housemate so if you have either of those, bonus! Otherwise I plan on replacing them myself.
Hi, my name is Alice. I'm 21 and a student to be. My current share house recently had an enormous gumtree branch fall through it, leaving it uninhabitable, so I'm looking to find a room as soon as possible. I'm a fantastic cook, I'm clean and tidy and I am a responsible, well mannered person. I enjoy my own company but I can be sociable and would be happy to have a glass of wine or two with you. I enjoy going out for coffee, and a night out in town from time to time! My interests include, art collecting/galleries, going antiquing and op-shopping, watching indie and foreign films, and listening to and collecting music. I am available to move right now. I would love to become friends with the people I share with.
Hi, I'm Ethan. I work full time in the city (For the last few years as well) in a business role and am looking for a place to rent which is within riding distance or has some form of good public transport available close by. I try to keep myself fit with gym and sports and consider myself to be quite a tidy and neat individual by nature. I look forward to meeting with you if a suitable option becomes available.
Just a friendly country bumpkin looking to make it in the big smoke... okay not really, but I am at least looking for somewhere to live with an equally friendly housemate?! Generally I am pretty quite and like my own space, however theres no stopping me when a laugh, a drink and a pizza or Mexican night is on the cards. Food is life. I LOVE to cook and share my creations with everyone around. Fortunately I also know how to clean and look after myself, making for a very tidy and easy going housemate. Im currently studying a Bachelor of Arts part-time at the University of Adelaide, whilst also working two part time jobs. So really, I wont be around all that much! I like to live a pretty healthy lifestyle, eating wholesome foods and exercising regularly by boxing and doing yoga/pilates. It would be great to find someone who is equally energetic, easy going, has a positive outlook and knows how to have a GOOD laugh. I look forward to meeting you and the many memories that could be....
I'm a mid 20s male studying a double degree of Education at Flinders Uni whilst also working 2 jobs. One as a Occupational Therapy Assistant and the other as an Event Specialist, so most weekdays (9-5) I am either studying or working. As well as this I also play Football on Saturdays. I can be both sociable and keep to myself depending on the environment and requirements. I have been known to enjoy sharing a chat and a beer/wine or 2 in the evening and love cooking, music and reading as well as watching movies or a tv show or sports. I have lived in a share house previously and am able to adapt to multiple personalities and know the expectations that living in a share house requires. I am a clean and tidy person and will always do my share of household jobs. I can also bring with me (if necessary) an extensive range of utensils and equipment necessary for a house highlights being a washing machine and a fridge as well as two recliners and a kitchen table (potentially also a table tennis table if it can fit!).
Hi, My name is Anais, I'm a French student coming in next July to study at UniSA. I'm looking for a nice room in a shared house. I am used to live with roomates, I've been living in a shared house for 4 years now with different persons. I look forward to know more about Australia and to share my culture with others !
Hey! I'm a keen gardener (I hope you love plants cause I have heaps!), love to cook and bake and my preferred night off is being rugged up on the couch with my partner watching a film! I'm a Youth Worker in residential care, so coming home to a chilled out home environment is pretty important to me - however I enjoy having mates over for a relaxed night of food and drinks once in a while. Generally my working day begins at 2/3PM & I don't get home until midnight, every so often I spend a couple nights over at work & regularly work weekends. I also study part time and do a lot of volunteering within the LGBTI/sexual health sector - because of this there are times at my current rental where I don't see housemates for 3 or 4 days and this will probably remain the same if you work normal business hours! I am currently renting in Kensington and have totally fallen in love with the area. As I work out North and study at Magill I would prefer to stay around here, however I'm up for moving a bit further out if I find people I really click with! $200pw is the max, but I'd rather be looking around $150-$170. With the areas I'm looking in it's ideal to have 3 people in a house - makes it so much more affordable. I'm also okay with pets! I'm very relaxed, keep things tidy and generally quiet (besides the occasional music) and as long as communal areas are kept clean I'm all good!
I'm an engineer currently working full time for PepsiCo. I'm clean and tidy, easy to talk to and will proactively maintain the house. I am considerate of other housemates' needs and space. I'm quite active so it's likely I'll rarely be home.
I am a graduate teacher keeping an eye out for jobs and currently looking into relief teaching (possibly along side a masters course). I am pretty laid back, i keep my spaces clean, ive lived in a sharehouse before and i look forward to making new friends and sharing a place with good vibes.
Hey Karan here. I am currently studying my Masters in UniSA. I have been in Adelaide for over an year. I am working part-time as well. I love going to the beach, drives, party. I am chilled out guy and would not interfere in anyone's business. To my future flatmates, it's gonna be chilling atmosphere and you will never sleep with empty stomach as I love cooking. Cheers.
I'm a fly in fly out shift worker on a 3/3 roster working overseas. I'm a bit OCD with everything being tidy and clean. I love my fitness and coffee. Always keen for a beer as well.
Awesome cottage maisonette home in a great location in the heart of Norwood. It is 50 metres off the parade on a quiet, no thoroughfare street. 3km from the city. Large bedroom with original fire place. There is Internet and foxtel currently set up if interested. The room has a large window and offers plenty of natural sunlight. Is currentry furnished with bed, bedside table and a desk and is optionally available. Has a large built in robe with accompanying mirror.
Planning to relocate to Adelaide. Quiet, clean and easy going, enjoys the outdoors. Respect every religion and gender orientation. Not exactly a neat person, but you will not find my socks lying around the house. A simple kitchen or kitchenette suffice as I may cook simple meals occasionally.
We are a pretty easy going couple that is working 6 days a week at the moment. On our days off we enjoy exploring Adelaide in any kind of sense. May it be exploring the nature around Adelaide or just finding a nice restaurant/bar. We clean up after ourselves and expect the same from everybody n a share house. Cheers Anne and Henry
I am in Belgium atm and I am doing a Working Holiday Visa and I am looking for a quiet place to stay. I like my privacy to be respected so I like to respect other's privacy too. I clean after myself. I am easy going, open minded and social as well. I like hiking.
Available room for rent in a two bedroom unit conveniently located on Kensington Road in Norwood. This is my second year living in this property but unfortunately, I have to leave because is a bit far from my current job. Now let's talk about the place: -The unit is a great space with a lot of natural light, it has beautiful floating timber floors and a very spacious renovated kitchen with an oven and 4 burner gas hob, fridge and great views to the city. -Compact bathroom with floor to ceiling white tiles, shower, vanity, toilet. -High ceilings throughout -Secure covered car space (my housemate is currently using it but you can have a chat and take turns or something if you have a car. There is plenty of off street parking if you want as well, the area is very safe, so no issues with that) -The room has really nice views of the city and a good size floor to ceiling mirrored built in robe. It is not furnished so feel free to bring your own things. What can I tell you, Norwood is a really good area to live in. You will live a few minutes walk to the Parade, Coles, Foodland and even Hoyts. There are plenty of food and clothes shops, chemist, medical centers, gyms and so on. Besides is really close to the city so if you are a student or just happen to work in the CBD this will be quite convenient. The rent is 165 a week without bills, but believe me, this place is not huge so you won't be getting any surprises. We can have a chat about the previous bills if you want. Bond 650. The room is available from the 15th of May. I work all day so feel free to send me a text so we can arrange an inspection.
I am very, very clean and tidy. I don't smoke, I don't take drugs and I drink wine in moderation. I am 63 years old. I have references. I'm a Kiwi and have lived in Adelaide for 5 years. I would like an unfurnished place as my belongings have been in storage for quite some time and I'm missing them. I belong to a bookclub. I love the beach. I don't go out at night very much. My eldest daughter has been living in Adelaide for 11 years and I see her every week or two. I don't have visitors as I prefer to go out if I find spare time. I love music but don't listen to it with excessive volume. I don't have a "partner" and have no intention of acquiring one.
