I'm a single, full time teacher working in Maitland. I'm a social person but also like my own space. I'm clean and tidy and would like to live with people the same. I enjoy watching Netflix, the occasional beverage and any social activity. Ideally looking for a larger space with room for a desk and TV.
Im a very organised and tidy person, I work as a haul truck driver in the mines. I’m currently looking to rent a room or a flat with someone or multiple people in the Newcastle area.
Hey! I'm looking for 1 person to look for a rental with me. I'm a full time uni student at UoN studying a Bachelor of Nursing in my 2nd year. I also have a hospitality job and am about to start seeking AIN work. I'm a pretty chilled person and as I'm now in my 30's I don't party as much as I used to but do enjoy a quiet night in with a bottle of red and Netflix. A lot of the time I'm just quietly studying. I'm pretty neat and tidy and enjoy having things look nice! I love to have lots of plants around and having a space with a sense of peace is very important to me. I have 2 white indoor-only cats and would therefore be seeking a pet friendly rental. They have their own insta - @willowandchino I try to stay relatively healthy and on Sunday you'll often find me in the kitchen prepping my healthy lunches for the week. When I'm in routine I also go to the gym in the mornings. I have a full house of furniture that is only around 2 years old, including a new grey modular lounge, 55" flatscreen, front load washer and dining setting. I do not have a fridge, but can purchase, however it would be great if you have one. I'm seeking a housemate that is either around my age or is a professional - parties in moderation and can contribute to cleaning etc. It would be nice to have a housemate that I can share a meal with occasionally or just come with me on a walk. Housemate must be LGBT friendly, willing to split bills, and respectful of the space.
Looking for a great housemate who is independent, clean and active. What’s on offer? A large sized furnished or unfurnished room with huge built-ins. Two rooms to choose from. Own bathroom and own lounge room. All bedrooms have dark carpet with excellent ceiling fans. The house has gas heating and air conditioning. The back yard has a fruit/veggie garden, new gas BBQ and large outdoor table. Share the yard with one female desexed cat who lives fairly independently, but likes pats and chats. Also a worm farm that needs veggie scraps! (No more pets thanks) The house is in a great position in Maryville. On the Throsby cycle track, which runs all the way to Honeysuckle hotel and then on to Newcastle beach. It's located nearby Maryville Tavern, which has great Tuesday trivia and other activities. And only a 5 min walk to Beaumont street Hamilton. Transport options are Hamilton train station or bus from Maitland road or ride your bike to the city via the bike path at the end of the street. LGBQTI friendly and allies welcome.
Three story Terrace house close to the water in breezy Maryville. Older style house with all the necessities. Carpeted throughout. You’ll have your own bathroom. And your own lounge, which converts to a spare bed. Ceiling fan. Netflix. Telstra tv. Unlimited internet NBN. Great outdoor back veranda with water views. Friendly house. Comfortable living. You’ll definitely enjoy living here. Close to bike paths and pubs and cafes.
hiya! I'm a full-time marketing professional working in Honeysuckle for a wine company (i.e. great perks living with this gal 😜). I'm easy-going, have a great sense of humour and always happy to help out around the house. I love animals, documentaries, travel and Formula 1. I get up most days around 430am for the gym and pretty much spend most of my time outside of the home. Would love to move in with some like-minded people- just moved back to my Newcastle family home from Melbourne last year and yearn for independence once more haha 😊 I am going to Japan on the 6th of April so would be looking to move at the end of April!
Hi! My name is Hannah. I am 26 years old and I'm currently working full time as a Speech Pathologist. I am down to earth and easy going. I am also keen on keeping things tidy. In my spare time, I like to stay active/exercise, cook and read books. I enjoy my own time but I am also up for a chat or casual social event. I will be new to Newcastle so I would love to meet some new people. Ideally, I am looking to live with tidy, like-minded people. I would like to have a maximum of 2 other housemates.
Hey. I am looking for a peaceful home with friendly people. I have lots of experience house sharing and am a friendly, considerate, fun and honest flat mate. I live a healthy lifestyle and would bring a joyful, relaxed and real presence to any house that felt like a good fit for me.
I'm looking for a room for myself and two cats while I continue to study. I'm pretty quiet and antisocial but I don't mind chatting and eating meals with room mates. I'm super clean and respectful of other's belongings and spaces and I'm more than happy to keep the rest of the house clean and tidy as well. Always on time with rent and can provide rental reference at request. I'm looking to move as soon as possible. If you have a room let me know :-)
Hi! I'm Jessica from Newcastle and I'm looking to move into a new place around hamilton, broadmeadow, cooks hill, merewether etc. IDEALLY LOOKING TO MOVE MID MARCH/APRIL. I work as a photographer and in marketing. I've recently finished a few years of travel and I'm ready to settle back down in Newcastle! During the week I am pretty busy with work and gym and on the weekends I love to go for walks, grab coffee, socialise and have a couple of drinks. A good netflix binge is also a favourable activity. I'm easy to get a long with, love to cook, respectful towards others and always up for a bit of fun. I like my own space but I am also happy to socialise. I have a wonderful cat that I adore and I hope to move somewhere where he can come along. He spends his time following me around or sleeping, so he definitely shouldn't be an issue!
We live in a quite, family oriented neighbourhood but are literally only a 5 minute drive from honeysuckle, Beaumont Street, and Darby Street and only a few more minutes to the beach. Callaghan campus is a 15 minutes away whilst City campus only 5 mins :) A bike can get you anywhere quickly also with the bike track located just across the road :) The house is actually 4 bedrooms but the smallest room is a study, every room has a ceiling fan :) We live extremely close to a 7/11, very good cafe, bottle shop and take away shop! We have unlimited wifi that is only $20 a month.
Hey all! I'm Frederique, a 22 year young student from the Netherlands. I'm going to Newcastle for an internship. During the week I will work fulltime but I am a very social person and always into having a chat, some drinks or just hanging out. Although I am worinking during the week, I look forward to have a full Australian experience and a great time! Further, I like to sport, (love soccer and tennis), some piano playing and to hang out during the weekend with friends. Greetings, Frederique
Hi, I'm an easy going person. i work full time as a surveyor and i do work away from home very often. I'm just after a new place closer into town and the beaches as i live a very active and social lifestyle. I'm looking for an easy going, free flowing and relaxed household to move into. I'm currently living in another share house in Wallsend and just looking for a change of scenery and to get to know some new faces. Shoot me a message if you have anything available, or if you would like to chat about anything further or if you'd like to get a vibe of the type of person I am. cheers Michael

I’m 21 years old looking for a sharehouse! I’m an artist and work part time. I have a kitty named Loki and he is a cuddle bug! I’m quiet and usually keep to myself but I love a wine and a chat! I’m currently in a situation where I’m basically homeless due to not finding a place on time. I’m super easy to deal with and I love to clean. :^))
I am a 22 year old recently relocated from Bathurst, very chill and easy going! Love sports, going to the beach, reading and being outdoors. I am also a casual educator doing before and after school care! :)
Working full time at a marketing company, Looking for a positive environment where I can focus on fitness and progressing as an entrepreneurial individual :) I am easy going, I love beer, making music, BBQ's, having a good laugh and a rip snorter of a day...
Hi there I’m an environmental scientist & my partner is a barista. We have just moved back to Newcastle after 6 months of travelling. We are looking for an easy going down to earth person/couple to either rent from or share with - our dog Wolfgang would also like to join too. We are super chilled out people, love to cook, listen to music, read & seek nature when & wherever possible.
Hey! I'm Gemma. I'm studying a double degree in Law & Communications at UON and working casually at Greater Bank. I am pretty busy, but in my spare time I love exploring some local events (markets etc) and hitting up the beach! I've lived in Newcastle since Feb 2017 and have loved every minute of it since! I lived on campus for the first two years and I am currently in a share house (so I have plenty of experience living with people). The share house I'm living in now just isn't what I had hoped it would be. I am pretty outgoing and social and I am after a house and housemates that share the same values. I love 'family dinners', movie nights and MAF's marathons (a guilty pleasure... don't judge lol) and would love to have housemates with the same interests. Although I'm pretty crappy at making my bed in the morning, I'm generally pretty tidy, especially in common spaces. I love plants, candles and anything that can make the house a home! I've got all the furniture I need for my bedroom. It would be ideal if the remainder of the house was furnished but I could possibly contribute some items here and there if necessary. If your house is one where the housemates just chill in their rooms on their own then it won't be a good fit. This is the main reason I'm wanting to leave my current share house. Obviously though, I respect that sometimes people just want to take a nap or read a book! Ps. The dog in the photo is my family dog, he won't be coming with me (unfortunately).
Hey my name is Claudia I’m 21. I work part time at an insurance call centre. I am easy going and clean. I enjoy having a night out but I also love nights in. I like going to the gym and keeping active. I think I could be a great house mate
Hello! Currently on the hunt for a short term place within the Newcastle area! Studying full time in Newcastle, working away 3 days a week and working hospitality at night I would only really be there 3 - 4 nights a week. Super friendly, laid back and easy to get along with. I don’t mind a social drink every now and again but also enjoy some solo time. If your keen hit me up :)
Hey Im 25, I'm a nurse and work different shifts each week. I was living in Sydney for the last good while but was ready for a change and am excited to be back in Newy. I’m pretty easy going, not overly opinionated, clean-ish and don’t mind to help around the house. Ill (hopefully) try and get into the parkrun at Carringon on Saturdays, don’t mind going to gigs every now and again, and hopefully get a bit of a plant collection going. I don't really mind where I live, if its old or new, but would probably prefer a house with a yard, compared to an apartment for those serene, sunset beers . Im flexible with a move in date. I can't be bothered paying the $30 to upgrade my account so send me a message if you think Ive got potential to become your new mate/housefriend
G'day, my name's Will. I'm friendly, easygoing and tidy. I am happy to hangout with housemates or keep more to myself. I currently work 40+ hours a week as a Youth Worker, so I will welcome a quiet drink to unwind with housemates I'm super into music and travel
Hi I'm Steph, I'm a QLD original who has been living in Newcastle for the past year. A bit about me – I'm a super friendly, easy going and social person. I work full time, so between that, sneaky afternoon beach visits and a bit of sports/gym - my Mon-Fri life is kept pretty busy. On weekends I am pretty active/social also so provided the sun is out, you won't catch me indoors! ☀️ I'm a clean and tidy person and hoping to find a roommate/s of similar age and traits. I've lived in sharehouses for several years now and understand the importance of personal space, but I'm always up for wine and a cheese platter also! I like home to feel homely, so I’d preferably like to live with people I don’t just brush shoulders with in the hall way. Not looking for a party house but most definitely up for social events! Off street parking would be ideal (not a must); wifi would be great also. If I sound like your kind of housemate please send me a message 😁
Hi, I'm Nick I am a joyful, easy going, cheery, clean and respectful housemate. I work full time in government and enjoy adventures, chats, animals, food and travel. Let me know if you think I am worthy to be your housemate.
I'm 34, have a background in Horticulture and about to start full-time study at the TAFE. I'm pretty easy-going and keen to meet some others who want to share the occasional drink or meal. I'm tidy and reliable and all-around good guy!
Hey there my name is Josie and i’m 25 years old. I work full time as a Registered Nurse (shift work) and i’m very easy to get on with & definitely a people person! I love animals (but don’t have any) and i’m very clean and tidy. I like to have a good time but also enjoy down time. My friends would describe me as high energy and someone who loves to have a laugh. Looking for somewhere preferably close to newy cbd :)
AIN, 26, female, happy and considerate, respectful and clean. Looking for a bit more of a long term place, hate the thought of having to move every 12 months or less! I have a previous six years rental history in the one location (can provide reference upon request) with a real estate. I am ready for a change of scenery, so I am looking for a nice and chilled (and easily accessible via public transport, as I do not currently own my own car) place to live ASAP. Just txt me if you have any questions or would like to know more info about me. :) my contact number is in my profile picture!
