I’m Adam, I’m 25 and work as a chef in Wickham. I’ve done sharehousing in the past so I’m familiar with the general expectations of housemates and maintaining a homely environment. I’m a tidy person and clean up after myself, pay rent/bills on time, respectful of everyone’s space and privacy. I do like to keep myself busy when I’m not working so I’ll usually be at the gym, out with mates, or relaxing with something on tv.
I spend my time going to the beach, surfing, training Muay Thai, doing yoga, cooking veggo food, reading and seeing live music. I'm keen on healthy eating + buying from the Farmers Market. Also pretty comfortable with dumpster diving! I'm moving out of an established beachy sharehouse in Newcastle. I have access to heaps of cool furniture, plants and house appliances that would be perfect for a new property.
Hi I am Ash! :) A bubbly & friendly 25 yr old gal. I work full time in sales & marketing & am also studying to become a Personal Trainer via correspondence. My 21 yr old boyfriend Dylan (who is the quieter one out of us 2 haha) also works full time & we are great to live with because we are super respectful, honest, reliable with bills & truly make an effort to always bring good vibes wherever we go :) We spend most of our time at work & the gym, going on adventures & camping in my van at the beach. We are social people & always down for a chat but also respect others privacy & we do enjoy our quiet time sometimes too. We are looking for a house to call home & flatmates to become friends :)
I'm 33, working full time, clean, tidy and respectful. I enjoy keeping fit and living a healthy lifestyle. I much prefer nights in watching movies over nights out these days but do still enjoy the occasional night out every now and then! Interested In living with people close to my age in and around the Newcastle area - who are easy going and don't take life too seriously! Ideally I’m looking for somewhere with air conditioning and a garage. Also keen to team up with someone to find a nice place! Msg me if you think we would make good housemates.
I'm Gibs, an international student, working par-time. Looking for a place to live, having a nice atmosphere and standard facilities where i can have my own space as well as a place for social mingling. Thanks
Hello! I have just moved to Newcastle and am looking for a place to live. I'm 25 and working full time. I like sports, hanging out with friends and going to the beach on arvos or weekends! I'm easy going, friendly and considerate and am looking for similar housemates to live with :)
I'm tidy, friendly and always pay rent on time.
Hello, my name is Kirra, I am 20 years old and I have just moved down to Newcastle from Townsville, NQ. I have lived on my own for 2 years now and I am very clean, look after myself, I like to stay very active and I am very easy going and social. I have a beautiful little cat named Bailey, she is very well behaved, makes little to no mess (only her hair) and is very good with other animals, especially dogs.
Myself and a friend are looking for another awesome human to pair up with to rent our own place... We're both independent and work in the creative sector. I'm a wino, she's a beero? If that's a thing. We both work in Hamilton so that would be the ideal location but we're pretty open to anywhere around Hamilton! We want to live with someone who is also clean, considerate, not a party animal and can pay their bills on time. Looking forward to chatting with you! Alicia & Erin
Hello possible future flatmate/s! I'm 24 years old and love art, cooking, gardening, beers, skating and the beach. I'm an outdoorsy kinda guy and would say I'm easy to get along with. I'm looking to move out towards the end of August, so if I sound like your kinda flatmate feel free to message me
A very outdoor person but still love me-time at home. Helping my friend with his business at the moment while exploring courses that i can take up here.
We have a room available for rent in our cosy home. The house is two levels, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, front yard, back courtyard and a garage (art studio in the works). The room is $160 per week, has a built-in wardrobe and is currently furnished if you’re needing a bed. Centrally located in a quite street of Wickham, within easy walking distance to main bus routes, coffee shops, parks and the foreshore. Newcastle beach is only a 10min bike ride away! We love the location of our house, best of both worlds super close to everything but the house is tucked away from the main streets. The room has just been sitting empty so we are happy to consider both short term and long term stays (up to a year).

Will go quite quickly. So don’t miss out. $450/week. $1800. Lease expires Feb 5th, however easily extendable. Don’t hesitate to ask any questions. Thanks, Tahlia
New house-person wanted to share a beautiful three-bedroom character-filled home in Islington. The house is well furnished, filled with artworks and comes with a well-used open fireplace. The house is kept clean and tidy and has a couple of living spaces. It’s a stone’s throw from the best coffee in town (aka Suspension), Hamilton train station and Beaumont St. The housemate will ideally be reliable, clean and tidy, have good taste in music, an appreciation of good food and extensive life experience. Rent is $220/week. Bills are extra. Third room is a spare / office / reading room that is also available for occasional guests. Potential housemates who smoke can do so outdoors. I'm not seeking a couple and am only looking for one housemate.
ABOUT ME: I'm Emily :) I'm currently working full-time & studying Land Conservation & Management, so am interested in the environment and enjoy being outdoors. Other things that interest me: mountain biking, self-improvement, slacklining, Netflix (documentaries & dinner, anyone?), gym, live music... SHARE DETAILS: I like to think i'm a fairly easy-going and respectful housemate. I'm independent, but enjoy hanging out with cool company too! My ideals are the surrounding Hamilton/Tighes Hill/Islington areas, but am also happy for other Newcastle-ish suburbs. I am also super flexible with length of stay. If you've got a place in mind, let me know!
Hi, I’m Jeff and working as a chef in Newcastle. I’m very tidy, clean, easy going and respectful to people’s surroundings and hoping I can find a place with people who have the same mindset. Julia is pretty similar. We are both social, but her being a student, she can be in uni a lot. Cheers!
Laid back emergency doctor. Moving back to the city after living in Alice Springs for a year. Love to cook, garden, go fishing, have a beer. Dry humour I'm a homo if that matters. Looking for laid back people to watch netflix with, have beers in the pool, and cook family dinners.
Greg (24) and Rhiannon (22), looking for a room together in Newy. Looking for somewhere for 4 months minimum but are open to extending that if the right place comes up! We both work full time mon-fri and tend to chill during the week, then go out for drinks/sports/activities on the weekend. Looking for somewhere fun and sociable but not a party house. Ready to move now or any time over the next couple of weeks. If we fit the bill get in touch!
Hello! I'm from the Central Coast and am going to be starting full-time work in Newcastle, so I'm looking for a new pad near by. I've travelled a lot and am used to respecting other people's privacy as I have lived in a lot of share houses. I love to make new friends and meet new people, share stories, laugh, create, and just have an all round good time! I'm really excited to be visiting all my fave spots in Newcastle regularly, my spare time usually consists of a whole lotta op shopping, visiting cafes, record stores, book stores, and enjoying things that aren't from this time =). I spend a lot of time drawing, reading, and discovering new music. I'm the kinda roomy that loves to hear about your day and wants to build a friendship, want to know more? Feel free to ask!
I’m a 26 year old Youth Worker who loves to surf, play soccer, make art, read, go on adventure and just have a good time. Tidy and responsible but friendly and fun.
22, work full time (Mon-Fri) in Health. Lease is now up and I'm looking to find a housemate (preferably just one but flexible). Open to moving in with somoene or teaming up. Pretty chill but I do like a clean place, enjoy some alone time but always up for a hang/beer.
Hey guys, recently got a transfer with work to Newcastle and will be moving within the next month. I work in retail so my shifts can vary from day-night, but I still love to make time for myself and socialising, going out for a drink or just chilling at home with friends and a wine :) I'm from England originally and have lived in Tamworth NSW for almost 7 years. Love meeting new people and making new friends, I'm a fairly outgoing and fun person and definitely love having a drink or two. Ideally looking for a place I can move into fairly quickly (furnished is a preference but not set in stone), with some laid back, friendly housemates like myself. Thanks guys and hope to hear from you soon!
I'm a fun placid 19 year old, I'm studying primary education at the University of Newcastle. Looking for a tidy place with friendly, tidy room mates. :)
We are a very easy going couple. We are quiet, non smokers and non drinkers who mainly keep to ourselves so to give you your own space but also do like the odd chats. We love staying active and healthy ( gym, yoga, beach etc). We both work part time and I also study. We are very clean, respectful, friendly and easy to live with.
We are a quiet couple who love to be together and do our own things. We will generally stick to ourselves, although we do love socializing with the right people through a few drinks or over dinner. We are easy going and love being outdoors, but also love to chill out and watch a whole bunch of movies. We are great with animals and would welcome being apart of any household with pets.
Hi, I’m Hayley and I’m a 29 year old Primary School teacher. I’m an easy going, fun and relaxed person who also likes to be organised, clean and tidy! I love a good Netflix sesh, coffee, a wine or 3, photography and taking in Newcastle’s views with a walk along the beach! I’m looking for a house that will be a home where we all get along and can socialise but also respect each other’s space when needed. ☺️
I have house shared for years after leaving home. I keep a clean house and love to socialise with new people and old friends. While I'm not the best cook I love a good cook up to share a meal with people. I have a 2 year old cat who is indoor and outdoor- generally roams all day and comes into my room of a night. I am looking to move only because my current housemate is getting hitched and I am getting ditched :P
We're looking for someone to join us in our new home in Islington. The room is unfurnished with hardwood floors and a big walk in wardrobe. We are new to town but are pretty sure the location is good? Short walk to Hamilton Station and drinking establishments. 10 minute drive or 20 minute ride to the beach. The house itself is a big old terrace with downstairs living, kitchen, dining room and bathroom. While upstairs has two bedrooms and a study which we are going to make a spare bedroom for friends and family. We also have a big shed which could be used as a studio or storage. The room is ready now so PM me if you're keen! If you have a washing machine that would be very exciting. Smoking fine in garden LGBTIQ friendly Pet friendly (but no cats soz) Look forward to hearing from you.
