Comfortable 3 bedroom townhouse in great location near Newcastle CBD. Pretty well fully furnished besides the room for rent. Room comes with built in wardrobe, access to NBN Internet and shared bathroom. The townhouse has all the essentials plus an air conditioner, a small paved courtyard, balcony with bbq and a single car garage for storage. Good for either full time worker or student. We have a study area with desk and the train station and bus stop is within walking distance.
Hey guys! I'm looking for some roommates to move in with me. I'm currently applying for some properties around Wickham, Maryville and Carrington. I work full time at Newcastle Uni and love hanging out with friends, and having a drink or two. I'd be a super fun and chilled-out roommate! Msg me if you're interested in teaming up :)
NEWY/WICKHAM I have previously shared with 27 and 30yr old guys.that worked well because we were all clean freaks. Ha Looking for a unit above street level need sunny balcony, don't care about view. Will consider a fresh team up with right person/ people. I may be older, but this means I'm settled and financially stable. I am a retired high school teacher, looking to share a unit with my own bedroom and ensuite. In and around Newy/ Wickham. No car space required, non smoker, no pets, no children, no partner, generally mind my own business, and clean up after myself. I can be trusted and not a sticky beak. I value my own shelf in the fridge and small space in the pantry.
Full time student at UON studying nursing. Relaxed but likes to keep things neat and tidy. Enjoys having a few drinks on the weekend, would love to live in a social environment with like-minded housemates. Happy to live with males or females. Looking to move in mid November and would ideally like to stay at least a few months, possibly longer depending on how things go. I come with all my own furniture if needed! Non-smoker
Our sharehouse is looking for a new member! We have a lovely townhouse in a great spot in Maryville right near the river. It's a modern two storey place with open plan living area to the ground floor and the bedrooms and bathrooms up on the top floor. One bedroom has an ensuite, and there's a toilet on the ground floor, so you only need to share the bathroom with one other housemate. We also have a courtyard out the back and a garage that's used for storage.
LOCATION Property is within 5 mins walk of Beaumont street. A short walk to all/most main bus and train routes in Newcastle i.e. Hamilton station and bus routes within 5 mins: 100, 111, 140, Nelson Bay, airport, within 20-25 mins: 222, 231, 334, 226, 317, 350, 230, 322, 363, 235. The location is just far enough of the main strip to be in a surprisingly quiet location with welcoming neighbours and neighbourhood cats! There are front and backyards that are going through a process of being brought back to life and at least 2 of these garden beds you could take for yourself if you have a green thumb! COST $700 bond cost transferred from previous co-tenant. $170 including internet, budget for splitting other bills for about $80 a month (water and power, works out to be about $190 a week including those bills going off past usage). FURNISHINGS Most of the house is already furnished besides the second room. Although there is a spare mattress and drawers that can be rearranged if needed. Additionally, there is quite a large back shed for storing things (car sized). There is also a back area with a table that is good for chilling at if you want to be outside but out of the sun. There is very little to none of your own home goods that you need to bring with you as I have just about everything... THE ROOM Is about 2.5m x3.5m with one inbuild cupboard (small) about 2m tall and 50cm wide. Has one large window on the side of the house. RULES 'Common sense' rules apply to the household that I'll spell out below as past experiences with housemates have shown this to be necessary: - Cleaning is a household effort and participation is mandatory and shouldn't require constant prompting every single time. ie take bins out when needed (recycle!), rubbish goes in the bin, do your washing up in a timely manner, tidy up the kitchen/bathroom/your room as necessary, maybe a clean the whole house together day, etc - Garden duties are split. That said if you don't garden then I'll take the garden beds etc and you can do the grass/leaves (with help in autumn with the leaves). If you do garden then a couple beds are yours and we split the duties as needed :) - Food/Drink/Condiments/Cleaning products (non-communal ie toothpaste, shampoo, etc): if you did not buy it, it is not yours to use/eat/drink. [ I am still open to shared cooking and shopping for particular meals because cooking with people is fun ]. - Respect: Each other and each other's things!
Room in a three stroy town house in "lego-land" on Throsby Creek in Maryville. We are not a party house but enjoy the occasional glass of wine and chat around the kitchen/loungeroom. We respect each others space and work together to keep the house running smoothly. Looking for female to rent in Wickham. Three story town house dwelling with your room on the top level. Sharing with two others. Big room with plenty of storage and cupboard space. Own balcony. Very central to Honeysuckle and CBD. House situated on one of the best bike tracks in Newcastle. It's a sweet location: close to the water, walking paths and minutes from the beach/town. We have the NBN connected and pretty much everything set up in the house. The room is unfurnished but I have a spare double bed if you needed it. You would share the main bathroom with one other. I believe you need to feel comfortable and relaxed in a house so if you think you can keep that going here let me know!
I am a laid back extroverted guy with a good sense of humour. Have lived with flat mates for 20 years and enjoy the company of others. I am definitely not boring and enjoy a good laugh, a few drinks and good banter. I am clean, respectful of others and their property. I work in Sydney but will be spending a good amount of time in Newcastle. I am a manager working in a HR field and have my life sorted. I don't have pets and I am not a crazy nutter. Have a tendency to make others laugh and can tell a good story. Can afford rent and will always pay on time but would prefer bills built into Rent as I would prefer just a flat fee every week. Would be looking to spend Friday night to Tuesday morning in Newcastle and the rest in Sydney. Hope to talk to someone soon. Prefer my own bathroom, no more than 2 flat mates and don't mind pets but prefer dogs. Prefer around Adamstown or the beach, mayfield or Hamilton. Cheers Jeff

I am a 26-year-old male looking to find a room in the Newcastle region for the next six months to year. I am a considerate individual who respects shared and personal space, as well as maintaining a clean shared living area. As a professional in my field I spend some of my free time studying and building my professional development, but also enjoy being very social and enjoying my down time playing competitive sports, travelling, and catching up with friends. I am a social drinker on the weekends, however spend most of them in Sydney for Sports. I am looking to move into a residence with like minded, easy going people.
Hello! I'm 24 years old and have just moved back to Newcastle from Melbourne where I was working, studying and living in share houses. I am a full-time nursing student and part-time employee. I like cooking (Italian food mainly) for my flatmates occasionally and I like to spend some time getting to know my flatmates but I also need a quiet place to study and relax. Other interests include learning to skate, surf and challenging my short attention span for reading books.
I'm a Dutch student landscape architecture and come to Australia for three months to work at Moir Landscape Architecture in Islington. Beyond the fact that I am really looking forward to work in Australia, I hope that I'm going to have a great time next to my working hours and that includes my future accommodation and flatmates. I'm a pleasant and tidy flatmate, a company man, and I am always up for a party, but I am also someone that respects my own and other's privacy. I am very creative and also love sports very much, like fitness, running, swimming, soccer, you name it. Furthermore, I will probably be traveling up the East Coast with a good friend of mine during the Christmas break. I am nice, kind, clean & tidy, independent, down to earth, active & creative.
I am moving to Newcastle for work and am looking for some easy going and friendly housemates to move in with. I am tidy and respectful and have lived in shared accommodation for the last four years. I will be working full time so will not be home much throughout the week but will be keen to have a chat and the occasional drink and meal with others.

Hey I'm an electrician from the central coast and looking at making the move to Newcastle. I'm a pretty active person, don't mind getting out for a surf and playing/watching abit of sport. Love a good night out aswell
I am looking for somewhere social! Not a crazy party house but I couldn't say no to a party every blue moon. Hopefully I can find a place with roomies 18 - late 20's (or older if you're young at heart) . I have been living independently and in share houses for the last 3 years so I understand what it's like to live with people from all different walks of life. I love going to the beach, being outside, exercising and just hanging out with friends to good tunes. I am a tidy person who appreciates a clean environment and people who pick up after themselves as I do for myself.
