PLEASE NOTE MY MOVE DATE :) Hi I'm Steph and I'm relocating from North Queensland to start my new role in Newcastle at the start of January. I will be working full-time and studying full-time so i will be a bit of a ghost Mon-Fri. On weekends, provided the sun is out, you won't catch me indoors much either and I don't mind a wine come Friday afternoon :) I'm super friendly and tidy and have lived in sharehouses for serveral years now. I understand the importance of personal space but am always up for a chat too. I would prefer to move into a place that is fully furnished (or close too), with off street parking and for a minimum of 6 months. Not looking for a party house but social events definitely welcome :) If i sound like your kind of housemate, please send me a message. Thank you
Im a 26 year old teacher who plays in a band, plays soccer and can be found lifting things at the gym or chilling at the beach. I like to keep myself busy and out of the house so I like to relax super hard when I'm actually at home. I admittedly drink too much coffee/tea and binge watch ridiculous amounts of Netflix but who doesn't these days?
This is a fantastic opportunity not to be missed. This room is fairly big, currently I have a queen size bed and 2 desks and still have plenty of space, and a built in wardrobe. This beautiful light filled room is just a short bike ride along Honeysuckle into town. The house is facing Throsby creek, has a great view and is a good area for jogging.
Health Lover who loves her life. Likes to live with harmony and tranquility. We are a twosome Samson and I (White deaf 2year old ragdoll cat. Whom I adore. Love to have a chat or not love my netflix and the gym oh and green smoothies and Audible and anything coaching. Looking after peeps is my thing, I travel to my PT clients or take care of them at the gym. That's about me in a nutshell over to you. Looking for an ensuite and balcony if poss. :)
Easy going and honest young man, always up for a good time and understand my responsibilities when it comes to both my personal and private life. Love cooking! Currently studying and working in the mines, love all sports and getting out and about. Enjoy the occasional drink after work or on weekends, and try to be active most of the time, but also enjoy Netflix binge sessions.
Hi there! I’m a trainee spraypainter at an industrial contracting company, working as the store man/assistant workshop coordinator. I work 7-3, Monday to Friday with some weekend and overtime work. I’ve got a whole house worth of furniture, being a couple couches, dining set up, kitchenware and other bits and pieces, as well as my own room setup. I’m a pretty easygoing bloke who can keep clean after myself. I love music, and have a bunch of instruments I’ll bring with me but usually practice at another place (unless you’re down to jam!) I enjoy cooking, and on the rare occasion I can manage to, I’ll be more than keen to head into town and try something new! I also have a few other appliances, full size and bar fridge, a washing machine and lawn mowing stuff for any yard work. I like to fix or work on things, so some space for projects would be awesome! I’ll also be more than happy to fix stuff around the house, I’m pretty handy at fixing most things. I’m also a bit of a package deal, in that I’ve also gotta find room for my lil gal Sasha. She’s 1 and a half, malamute cross red cattle dog. Loves fetch, hates giving back the toy. She’s wickedly clever but I’ll reinforce the yard as necessary to make sure she won’t get away. Sleeps outside, can be placid enough to come inside but she’s very excited to see ANYONE so the first few minutes inside the house she gets a little nutty. My move in date is pretty flexible, I’m looking to vacate my current place so I’ll just need at least 28 days notice for my housemates/property manager then I should be good to go!
Hi there. We're Sarah and Julia - just 2 pals trying to sort themselves out. We're both new grads (teacher and social worker) looking for a place to live since all our friends are moving away. We are both very easygoing and love to hang out with our friends. We don't mind the odd night out, however are equally happy at home with a good movie and glass of red. We're looking for roommates who will be our friends, not just strangers. We're open to moving into an already established place, or teaming up! We are going away to America on the 17th December and won't be back until 24th January, however we are very happy to pay rent from around 3rd January. Give us a yell if you're into it.
Hi, my name is Kevin, and I am moving to Newcastle for a new full-time job around Jan/Feb. I am looking to rent a place for roughly 8 months, as my job will involve relocation. I am hoping to find a person that loves food just as much as I do. I enjoy going to the beach, playing video games, going to the gym, and cooking food. I am a happy, energetic and responsible individual. I am also willing to team up to find a place to rent.
Hey I'm Georgia, an easy-going, friendly uni student! I love the beach and any time outdoors, but also enjoy relaxing at home. I am clean, respectful and appreciate personal space, and am hoping to move in with people who are keen to not just be flatmates but spend time together at home. I love a good market, op-shop trip or hike, and am very keen to have a veggie garden! I work part time and like getting involved in the community, and am very reliable with bills. I am happy to live with pets too. I enjoy a bit of banter and would love to live with other friendly, like-minded people who enjoy nature, good food and occasional drinks. I look forward to hearing from you!
Easy going, quiet, respectful, healthy, clean, non smoker. Don't mind a quiet drink at home but never bring the party home when out. Currently working full time in city centre so would like to stay nearby. Move date open. Looking for private room and own bathroom. Have some furniture but mostly just for my bedroom. Love pets but have no patience for yappy dogs.
I am a 21 year old uni student, looking to team up with a couple of people or find a room in a house in Newcastle. I have just finished my first year of Bachelor of Visual Communication Design and also work casually as a disability support worker. I only work day shifts so am usually at home of a night. I enjoy socialising with other housemates but also like time to myself. On weekends I like to go to the beach, catch up with friends, go for day trips to new places and occasionally have a few mates over for drinks and a platter before going out. I do have an 11-month-old kitten Nala, she is timid at first but once she gets to know you she is super loving, friendly and playful. I am currently keeping her as an indoor cat but at the right property I would like to let her be able to go outside if she wants. If you're interested then I'd love to meet up for a chat and a coffee!
Hello! I am originally from the U.S. and moved here almost 3 years ago. I am easy going and love socializing but also enjoy my alone time. Most the time I am just lounging, reading a book or dabbling in art. I try to get out and about as much as possible. Mainly going to the beach, hiking (if I can catch a ride since I don't have a car), jogging and just going on long walks to enjoy the city. I like to party but do it rarely and never bring it home. I work 9-5 in a factory in Tighes Hill as an unskilled labourer. Nothing fancy but it pays the bills! Just looking for some chill people to live with.
Hi, I’m Maddi I’m 22years old currently studying primary teaching while also working part time at a cafe on Darby Street. I’m easy going, sociable and love a beer or two. I also have a pet cockatiel named Clark. He will only be staying with me around 3-4 days a week. He’s pretty chill and isn’t very noisy. I’m also ready to move in asap :)
NEWY/WICKHAM I have previously shared with 27 and 30yr old guys.that worked well because we were all clean freaks. Ha Looking for a unit above street level need sunny balcony, don't care about view. Will consider a fresh team up with right person/ people. I may be older, but this means I'm settled and financially stable. I am a retired high school teacher, looking to share a unit with my own bedroom and ensuite. In and around Newy/ Wickham. No car space required, non smoker, no pets, no children, no partner, generally mind my own business, and clean up after myself. I can be trusted and not a sticky beak. I value my own shelf in the fridge and small space in the pantry.
I am tidy, easy going and social 20 year old girl! I study journalism and work roughly 30 hours a week, both day and night work. I'm looking to move out in Newcastle at it is more suitable to get to my workplace and I love the young social environment Newcastle has.
Large apartment on Milford Street in Islington (Maryville), with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two car spaces in a boutique security building. Within metres of cafes and restaurants including Baked Uprising and The Maryville Tavern and walking distance to both Honeysuckle and Beaumont Street (think transport, shopping and foreshore walks to the Newcastle CBD). The 155m apartment located on the first floor features air conditioning, security access, internal laundry, built in robe and appliances. Property is furnished except for your bedroom. So looking for a housemate who is considerate and respectful of my possessions :) $250 per week excluding bills or $290 including electricity, gas, water, internet and miscellaneous (dish washing liquid etc).
This is a friendly, relaxed and mature household, with an awesome resident dog called Reuben. We were pretty lucky to snap up this stunning brick house with one of the biggest yards in Tighes Hill. We spend a lot of time on the back deck and under the huge tree in our yard. The house has floorboards throughout, decorated ceilings and stain glass windows, and a great bathroom with a claw foot bath. The house is in an awesome location with easy car access to all areas of the city, 5-10 mins to the beach. There is a bike path all the way along the foreshore to the city (10-15 mins), and a walk to the best spots in Carrington, Islington, and Mayfield. Close to Baked Uprising - yum! The available room is medium-large, has a west facing window, floorboards, a ceiling fan, and a gorgeous brightly painted door. Could easily fit a QS bed, desk and wardrobe.
DOCKSIDE – MODERN EXECUTIVE STYLE Room available in townhouse at Carrington >Townhouse is stylishly furnished, room is also furnished >Built in wardrobes >Fully ducted air-conditioning >Private balcony >Cleaning of bathroom by a cleaner is included
Waterfront in Carrington ... Quiet , relaxed cul-de-sac.sac area with park & waterway a few meters from the front door. House is shared with 3 housemates. Cathy is moving after 2.5 years & Paul is also moving away due to his job. This means there will be two rooms available around the same time in about 2 weeks. Luke (36) is the remaining house mate & has lived here for 3+ years. He works in Sydney Mon thru Fri, so is away a lot. I own the house & manage it from afar (up north). I live in a shared house myself. The house is fully furnished with everything you could need, the bedrooms are not furnished although there is a brand new king single avail if needed. The carpet in bedrooms is new & I like to stay on top off any maintenance issues if they appear. Both bedrooms have built-in-robes & big bay windows. The garden is maintained by gardener. There are two bathrooms, with 3rd toilet off the laundry downstairs. reverse cycle air con, back courtyard with BBQ & storage shed.. Two fridges so plenty of space for groceries etc Looking for someone who is working, respectful , clean & tidy. The house has been running like this for 8 years & has only had a handful of tenants due to everyone setting up a home base for a good length of time.
I am a laid back extroverted guy with a good sense of humour. Have lived with flat mates for 20 years and enjoy the company of others. I am definitely not boring and enjoy a good laugh, a few drinks and good banter. I am clean, respectful of others and their property. I work in Sydney but will be spending a good amount of time in Newcastle. I am a manager working in a HR field and have my life sorted. I don't have pets and I am not a crazy nutter. Have a tendency to make others laugh and can tell a good story. Can afford rent and will always pay on time but would prefer bills built into Rent as I would prefer just a flat fee every week. Would be looking to spend Friday night to Tuesday morning in Newcastle and the rest in Sydney. Hope to talk to someone soon. Prefer my own bathroom, no more than 2 flat mates and don't mind pets but prefer dogs. Prefer around Adamstown or the beach, mayfield or Hamilton. Cheers Jeff
Hey, I'm looking to move January 2018 to study nursing as well as work part time. I'm social, easy going and always up for a chat however appreciate down time too. I'm tidy, will always clean up after myself and am mindful of other peoples space. I would love to live in a friendly, tidy and social household, with room mates who don't mind hanging out.
I'm easy going, tidy and always pay rent on time. I have a 5 year old golden retriever who is very well trained and very lazy. I have a whole house worth of furniture which can be used or put in storage. I'm in the RAAF and work at Williamtown. I travel to Brisbane about once a month so I need someone who loves dogs to be able to feed him when I'm gone.
I'm a down to earth guy, very big plant lover and aspiring horticulturist (hope you don't mind a few indoor plants I have collected over the years.) Currently living in a share-house in Carrington but looking to start a new chapter. I work in management with the farmers market on weekends and pick up barista work through the week, have plans to study through next year. I prefer self expression through real-life interaction so forgive me for the small `about me` section on flatmates, super happy to meet and have a chat though. :)
I'm a teacher working in Glendale area looking for accommodation for 2018. I currently rent in Maitland but have owned my own home for years prior to this. I like healthy food and lifestyle, cooking, shared cleaning and gardening. I'm also a yoga teacher and enjoy bushwalking and outdoors. I'm after a space where I can rejuvenate after work and prepare for upcoming lessons. I rarely watch TV but do enjoy a good comedy or movie. I would like a household that is quiet by about 8.30pm weeknights. I'm not a total bore-I like the odd glass of wine on weekends with a nice meal.
Im an easy going dude looking for a roof to go above my head while i work in Newcastle. Im an artist and musician but can also appreciate some quality peace and quiet. I believe in complete honesty when living with someone so any problems that come up i'd be happy to work out openly. Im clean and respectful of both personal space and belongings. As well as not being a complete bore to be around… Would love to discuss the possibility of moving in with you.
Hi, I work at the University which keeps me pretty busy during the week. Outside of work I like to keep a pretty balanced lifestyle. Looking for an initial 6 months, but will likely be around for 12 or more. Also would be happy to team up to rent a place. I am well house trained, love to cook and chill out. If I sound like someone you could live with, lets meet up. Cheers, Joel
Hi, I'm Ebony. I'm currently working a 7-day rotating roster in Newcastle and am looking to move closer. I enjoy cooking, a wine or 2, and binge-watching TV shows. I do work a lot and do a fair amount of O/T and on my days off enjoy being out of the house. I have a gorgeous puppy named Maya who is a maltese x toy poodle. I'm a clean person and enjoy a clean house (do what you like in your room, but I like a clean bathroom and kitchen). I'm happy to sit up and watch TV and have some bevvys, but also happy to have my alone time so won't be living out of your pocket. Send me a message if you'd like any more information! X
I am a very positive person, easy to get along with, happy to have a good time but also have time to myself. I've just completed my course in outdoor recreational training at Tafe and intending to do my training and assessment next year.
Hi, My name is Chaney, Im a 30 yr old carpenter from Bellingen. Iv been living in Newy for over 4 years now. Im interested in living a in a nice relaxed environment, meeting new people, vibing with some new roomies and seeing the possibilities that this brings. Im a pretty relaxed person, i try to maintain a positive outlook, have a laugh, not taking myself too serious, i like to remain active, running, surfing, most sports really. I dabble in a bit meditation and yoga. I like to maintain a clean and tidy environment, I have pride in the things i do, i love cooking, sharing meals, i like to socialise and be personable with the people around me. Im conscious about health, environment and respect peoples needs and individuality around me. Monday to friday im generally working so mostly a chilled week, wknds i dont mind having a bit of fun, heading out for a feed or a drink or seeing some live music. Also dont regret an early night in, ready for the beach in the morn. I look forward to potentially meeting you, and seeing what the horizon brings.
I am always up for a chat and I always cover my ends ahead of time. I work most days in town but either side of that I am always up for a laugh and a good time, be it cooking up a bbq or just having a few drinks with some good company. I am extremely tidy and rarely loud. Anything else you want to know just ask.
Hey, I'm Rachel! I'm a full time uni student and I also work part-time at Genesis Fitness. I enjoy being active which includes things like going to the gym, going for a walk/run, going out for food/coffee, the beach or just being outdoors in general; however I wouldn't pass up a nice quite day or night inside lazing around. I live quite a healthy lifestyle so I like to cook healthy meals and I very rarely drink or party so I would not want to live with party people or in a party house... Other than that I'm a tidy, respectful and generally quite roommate as I sometimes keep to myself but I do very much enjoy a good socialise and going out with friends.
I am looking for somewhere social! Not a crazy party house but I couldn't say no to a party every blue moon. Hopefully I can find a place with roomies 18 - late 20's (or older if you're young at heart) . I have been living independently and in share houses for the last 3 years so I understand what it's like to live with people from all different walks of life. I love going to the beach, being outside, exercising and just hanging out with friends to good tunes. I am a tidy person who appreciates a clean environment and people who pick up after themselves as I do for myself.
Carrington is a great suburb close to the CBD of Newcastle yet still out of the way. Lovely restaurants and pubs just a block away. The house has a private backyard, with a selection of much loved pot plants a separate shared shed workspace used as a pottery studio but plenty of room for all flatemates to share. The house features mostly floorboards throughout lovely light filled living spaces. Separate generous sized living and dining areas, modern bathroom and two toilets. Internet is available for $20/pp/month.
About the house: Quirky, free standing house. Room is large enough for a queen bed, cupboard, desk and dresser. Room also includes study nook, over looking the trees and park. The room is not furnished, but a cupboard is available to use if required. The rest of the house is fully furnished with plenty of room in the house and a shed at the back if you have more furniture! 5 minutes walk to Carrington cafes, pubs and Antojitos, 15 minute drive/20 minute cycle to the beach. Courtyard and grassed area with barbecue for summer. Unfortunately no pets, no smokers, females preferred, but males considered. Cleaning up after yourself is a must plus contributing to the house cleanliness. On street parking. Bills are separate, and split equally. Room available in the next month.
