Definitely not looking for a party house! Hi! Post-grad student (primary teaching) here. Mid-to-late thirties, single and not exactly ready to mingle. I consider myself quiet and respectful. My interests are pretty nerdy, which include comedy, podcasts, comics, and the odd computer game. I’m reliable with bills & rent. Hope to meet you soon!
Primarily looking to team up, I currently have my own house on the central coast but it's boring as batshit down here so looking for somewhere with a decent pub nearby! I would be able to fully furnish a house, I'm easy going, work fulltime Mon-Fri, I have a 10yo Siberian Husky, he's really good natured, happy for him to make friends with your dog or would look at getting a rescue to keep him company as he currently is in a pack of 3
Hey, I'm Amelia. Have just returned to Aus after a stint in NZ and will be studying architecture at Newcastle University. Will hopefully be working or volunteering at a firm in Newy too! In my spare time I like to take photos, get to the beach, bake bread, have a cook up, go on camping or walking trips and drink a beer (or a few). I'm pretty independent and like to do my own thing, but a house where everyone can hang out and have a chat / beer / meal together every now and then is perfect.
You will have your own bedroom with ensuite, walk-in wardrobe and lounge room. It is a shared kitchen and small backyard. Bills are seperate. You can share the kitchen (will need your own fridge), laundry and small backyard. We are in Maryville and are very close to town, it's a 8 minute ride or 5 minute drive to Newcastle civic theatre area, or Beaumont St and 5 minutes drive to market town or Woolworths in Mayfield and a 10-15 minute drive to uni. If you have any questions please email or text with a bit about yourself and if you'd like to arrange a time to come check it out.
Hi. A vacancy has just opened up for a 16m2 (4Mx4M) room in a great location. Large deck out back with BBQ for outdoor dinning. Top notch kitchen with high end appliances. A quality renovation throughout the house was done a few years back. Kitchen and lounge is open plan with stone bench with bar stools and large bi-fold glass doors that open up onto the deck. The house is fully furnished with excellent gear such as sofa bed L-shaped modular lounge, 65" Smart TV, Projector and theater sound system. The place also has washer/dryer, dishwasher, coffee machine, clothes line as standard in most places. The spare room available is unfurnished with the exception of a small mirrored wardrobe (2x2M i think), and an awesome ceiling fan. I am the owner of the property in my mid 30's, shift worker and part time student. I live a life of balance between work, down time, social event and enjoy my hobbies where i can. I like to go for a social drink or meal with friends, into mountain biking, hiking, dirtbiking and camping etc. Outdoors guy lol. The other house mate is a friend of mine similar in character, male 36 and is a FIFO worker so only home 1 week out of 5. Looking for preferably a female 25 - 35 that will fit and compliment the house. Respectful person wanted that is easy going and rational. Sorry no pets thanks. Must be tidy and contribute with the general up keep of the household. Bills are included in the room price with Netflix and unlimited TPG. Works fast as the property is close to the NODE. Possible to upgrade for a few bucks extra to 25Mb/s if need. Parking available out the back, in the shed or on the street out the front. Throsby creek boardwalk is across the road leading into honeysuckle & the foreshore. Convenient location next to a bottle shop, 24hr 7 eleven, local bus stop and short walk to Wickham Train Station. Great places in close proximity of the property accessible by walking or riding for a meal and or drink to get out an about! If you have any questions please message me.. Cheers, Derryn
I´m a social, clean 21 years old boy. I´m an exchange student from Norway where I study a master in Business and administration. I´m polite, outgoing and helpful. In my spare time i like doing sports, travel and trying new things.
I’d like to say I’m a pretty good cook. I keep to myself, but also love a good conversation over some wine and cheese. I’m a very clean person, both with hygiene and cleaning up after myself. Especially in the kitchen, I love a tidy kitchen😂 I like to cook, chill out to music, going to the beach, and trying new things. I’m moving from around five hours away, and will most likely have a part time job or two while attending uni full time. Just a typical soon to be uni student looking for a place to live.
Hi potential future flatmates, my name is Kevin. I am recently turned 23 and have just relocated to Newcastle for a new full-time job. I am expecting to be in Newcastle for the next 8/9 months and am hoping to find an established place with other flatmates. Possibly renting for only 6 months, and extending it from there. I am an all time foodie. If you love to eat, we will be awesome friends. I do occasionally go out to eat to try new things, however if not, i will usually cook. I am a very clean and tidy person, so i will clean up after myself. I am very punctual and will pay my bills and rent on time as required. My lifestyle is quite basic, going to work 5 days a week, going to the gym in the evening and trying to enjoy a cheese platter and wine with the housemates. I occasionally cook Vietnamese food, so you're welcome to try it (i heard i make heck of a good spring roll). I try to be healthy (but lets be honest everyone enjoys fast food from time to time). Please message me if you think i will be an excellent flatmate. If you want to meet up to chat to get to know me better, let me know. :) Please also note I am willing to team up with other people to find a place to rent. Cheers Kevin
Hello! I am originally from the U.S. and moved here almost 3 years ago. I am down-to-earth and love socializing but also enjoy my alone time. Weekdays I work 9-5 at a factory in Tighes Hill. My downtime is spent reading or dabbling in some sort of arts and crafts. I love being outside and try to stay active as much as possible. Bush walking or going to the beach are my top activities. I like a clean place and am super respectful when it comes to people's personal space. Just looking for some easy going people to live with.
I am a chilean internship research student at University of Newcastle, I'm here for only two and a half months, so have intentions to exploit my time here. I've already bought a bike which I'm using to reach everyplace. I can teach spanish, as you can help me to improve my english. I am a very orderly person, but with my stuff, not a maniac who bothers the others with it. I would love to share a beer at night and have a good conversation ;) Also happy if you can show me the beaches and any other place of interest. Other things about me: I like to hear music (Snarky Puppy is my favorite band), I'm an electronic engineer, currently working on Computational Neuroscience, but here in Australia on Education (easy, sounds freak, but I am not, at least I think so xd). Other themes of interest we will know when opening those beers!
Hi, I’m Maddi I’m 22years old currently studying primary teaching while also working part time at a Pub in Maitland. I’m easy going, sociable and love a beer or two. I also have a pet cockatiel named Clark. He will only be staying with me around 3-4 days a week. He’s pretty chill and isn’t very noisy! I look forward to hearing from you :)
Hi, I'm Andrea. I work as an Accountant 5 days a week and like to spend my weekends doing something fun preferably out of the house. Also currently studying part time. I enjoy SCUBA diving, canoeing, horse-riding, travel, camping etc. I also enjoy hanging back at home and doing nothing or enjoying some good food and wine, going out to dinner etc. hopefully this gives an idea of the person I am :) Prefer: Parking available, non smokers, no pets, no kids I'm looking for people to team up with to start a new share house with. Alternatively happy to move into an already established place, although I do have furniture but can sell it. If this interests you, please message/email me and we can go from there.
I’m 23, studying a Bachelor of Commerce Degree - Accounting major. I work in hospitality and I really enjoy my job. I try to work as much as possible since I work in a very happy environment. I’m very easy going. In a living environment, I prefer a good balance of being social whilst maintaining personal space. I am selectively bubbly. I can be on roll sometimes but I also get real tired & when I get tired, I become very quiet. I’m happy to watch things unfold from a distance as I don’t feed into or entertain drama. I keep my space where necessary. I’m also very clean & highly domesticated (thanks mum). I absolutely love good food & that entails cooking as much as I can. I’m super obsessed with music but I not to worry as I have a great pair of Beats by Dre :) I travel quite a bit. Both around Australia & I do try to take an extended trip overseas once a year. I love nature especially water. I prefer a 3-4 bedroom house with at least 2 bathrooms. Modern to semi-modern. Built ins, a good kitchen & close to either Callaghan or Newspace. In my spare time I’d watch Netflix or spend time with my family. If I run out of ideas, I’d go to Sydney. I believe I’d be an awesome housemate. I have lived in 3 previous share houses so I totally understand share house etiquette 😂
Emma and Kieran here! We are your standard description of a fun, friendly and easy going couple, who are welcoming and like to make new friends. We are both full time professionals working Monday to Friday as environmental consultants. We have one currently unemployed, awesome and low maintenance dog called Willow who is a 3 year-old small Corgi X (?). Current landlord can provide reference for us as well as for the dog. We are hoping to find a new place to jump into when our lease ends in February. Can provide any further details upon request. Thanks! ☺️
Howdy hey! I'm Anna and I'm 20 years old. I'm looking to rent a room in the Newcastle Area such as Cooks Hill, Wickham, Hamilton, Maryville etc and may consider Charlestown/Kahibah/Adamstown Area - but not further south! Basically, to sum me up:- - Employed Full Time at a Law Firm - Vegan - Does CrossFit (yea I'm a walking meme, I know) - Enjoys a beer or 10 - Great record collection that you're most likely envious of - Loves preparing food and sharing with others I also have a Golden Retriever named Tyson. He's an old boy, he's 13 this year but he is still a puppy to me.. I would love to bring him along! He's quiet and doesn't bark at anyone or anything, he's very social and is super well behaved - he's a VERY good boy. If he were a human, you'd have a beer with him at pub because he's an all round good bloke. I'm willing to pay $50 extra a week to bring Tyson along. I'm looking to live somewhere clean, tidy, not a weekly party house but dinners/drinks on the odd occasion ok. I enjoy my space and privacy, but also enjoy hangin out. A veggie patch or lemon tree would be cool too! Please let me know if you have a room available in the above mentioned areas!
Hey, I'm Rachel! I'm a full time uni student and I also work part-time at Genesis Fitness. I enjoy being active or just being outdoors in general but of course I don’t pass up quiet days in! Not much of a drinker nor do I party much so I can be quite the nanny :’). But nonetheless, I’d like to meet some likeminded people and hopefully become great friends/roommates :) I’ll be overseas from the end of January to the 23rd of Feb so looking to try and move ASAP when I get back!
Hi, I’m Alicia. I have lots of different hobbies. I like to bake and can make macaroons. I have a sewing machine so I can repair your clothes but it does need it’s own space. I’m very active I play team sports mainly AFL at the moment but I can also play soccer, basketball and netball. I also try to get to the gym everyday of the week but when I’m at home I like to chill in front of the TV. I mainly watch ABC and SBS and have never watched an episode of the Bachelor. I like live comedy and music. I have been living by myself for the past year so I may not be as neat as most people. I’m happy to share household chores but not spending every weekend cleaning. I have my own furniture including a fridge so I am not looking for a place in an already furnished house.
Hello! I’m looking for expressions of interest for my front (larger) bedroom with a built in robe. Tidy house with one female housemate and a small cat. The house is modern, with an internal laundry and courtyard. Current lease ends in June
Room for rent in Wickham! In a great location, close to walking and bike tracks - just over the bridge from Carrington. Very quick trip into town. Its a nice little house that is easy to maintain, polished floors and split system air-con in the living space. There is one off street park available but plenty of street parking as well. The room itself isn't pictured but its a reasonable size, can fit a queen bed and desk. Plenty of natural light and has build in wardrobes. Sorry the pictures don't really do the house justice!
Fully Furnished bedroom equipped with a Queen bed. Linen and towel supplied, working desk, complimentary wifi, colour TV, Iron and Ironing Board Equipped with an electronic keyless locking system, new shared shower and toilet facilities Kitchen includes, fridge and freezer, microwave and storage cabinets Communal laundry includes washing machine and dryer Secure off street parking available for an additional $10pw Weekly room service available for additional fee.
The house is in an amazing location just off Beaumont street, so all of the fun none of the noise. All the coffee shops, restaurants and pubs and clubs you want. it is 10-15 minutes to the beach, so an easy drive. Very close to the Hamilton train station so easy to get to uni or anywhere the train goes. the house has all the appliances you need fridge, freezer, washing washing machine, gas stove, a good oven and all the cooking and eating utensils you could require. A big TV with fox-tel hooked up and unlimited internet, the lounge is also super comfy. There is a large backyard with an ping pong table and hammock set up. The room can be either furnished or unfurnished, it currently has a queen size bed, large desk, large set of draws and a wardrobe. It is fairly big and can get a breeze through the window.
About to conduct major renovations on my house and thinking it may be better to more out for the building period. Ideally close to my house as I'll be working on parts of the build with the builder. Just need a place where i'm able to cook and shower and sleep. Mature, easy going, love music and a quiet bevy.
I am a full-time medical student at Newcastle uni, looking for a furnished room (at least a bed and a desk) in a sharehouse, from late February. I am clean and tidy, and fairly self-sufficient. I'd like to live with fun, easygoing people, and be able to come home to a friendly environment and a glass of wine every now and then!
Heyy! Me and my buddy James are searching for a third housemate to team up with. We are both Environmental Science students at Newcastle University and work on a part time basis. We're both sociable and would prefer to live with someone who is keen to hangout. However, we also value personal space, especially as the Uni semester begins to pick up.
Hi, Sam and Kirsten here! We're 26 and 25 and are relocating from Brisbane to Newcastle as I (Sam) begin uni here this year. We like to think we're fun/funny and good company to have around but are also more than happy to keep to ourselves. We also have a little dog named Dotty looking to come with us. She is a 4yr old Maltese Poodle who doesn't shed fur, doesn't bark and could challenge a koala to a sleeping contest to give you an idea of how lazy she is. We're very tidy and certainly enjoy our food (So does Dotty)! Kirsten is also a qualified dietitian but don't worry, we still love our pizza, chocolate and other tasty snacks! Hopefully we sound interesting enough to persuade you to let us live with you! :)
Easy-going going and open-minded. Happy with my own company and interests but like to have a chat and learn about others. I believe in equality / equity and am happy to pitch in and make a healthy and enjoyable home for us all
Hi. (: I'm looking to move out around the start of March. I thought I'd just test the waters. My name is Jess and I'm 26. I'm currently employed part time but work 4-5 days a week. The max I can afford is $200 with bills included. I also have an indoor/outdoor neutered male cat who is an absolute gem. He gets on great with other animals. I am very unhappy with where I am currently living and would like to find somewhere I can actually call home. Somewhere that is actually clean with tidy people who take pride in their home. I have all of my own bedroom furniture so I'm looking for an unfurnished room. I myself am straight but I'm also LGBT friendly. Ideally I would like to live with just one other person, max two. Gender doesn't bother me. Would like to find someone closeish to my age. I'm also happy to do a team-up. I'm a clean person who keeps to myself most of the time but also likes to socialise. (: I'm not much of a party person. My hobbies include binge watching Netflix and reading books. Feel free to ask my any questions. Looking forward to hearing from you. (:
After completing Year 12 in 2016, I spent 12 months for my gap year employed as a teachers aid at St Columba Anglican School in the Design and Technology department. I have also been working part time at Social Grounds Cafe as a Kitchen Hand for the past 3 years. I will be studying Architecture at Newcastle University and look forward to a very exciting relocation to Newcastle. I enjoy the outdoors, surfing, swimming and will miss very much my dog which I have cared for since a pup. I am a bit OCD and am proud to be organised and keep things tidy at all times. My family and friends describe me as a easy-going, friendly and respectful of looking after the place I call home.
Laid back emergency doctor. Moving back to the city after living in Alice Springs for a year. Love to cook, garden, go fishing, have a beer. Dry humour I'm a homo if that matters. Looking for laid back people to watch netflix with, have beers in the pool, and cook family dinners.
Hey I'm a pretty easy going sociable 22 year old, but also appreciate some quiet time occasionally. I enjoy playing guitar, spending time out with family or friends, cooking and gardening. I'm currently working casual in hospitality in Newcastle. Looking to move into a room asap as staying with my brother isn't ideal.
20 yo // first year part-time uni student // casual waitress I'd consider myself a caring person who loves making new friends. I do like to busk in some alone time here and there and respect that others do too but also won’t ever be one to turn down a moment to procrastinate in any way or form (🍷). I'm a lover of the ocean, wine, dogs, Coffee, Netflix, music festivals, photography, travel & all things good. Social wise- I do like to go out occasionally, but drinks out the back will always take the cake. Cheese platters are pretty good too. Would love to live with others that are fun, caring and honest about things... Feel free to suggest for coffee and a chat if you're interested as it’d be nice to hear from you.
We are full time students from Sydney who have completed a degree and now doing further studies at the University of Newcastle. Therefore, we are looking to rent a property, preferably long term, that is nice and quiet. We are respectful of people, clean, mature, responsible and organised. We would love to share a home with someone who is friendly and easy going like ourselves.
Hi there I'm a responsible 30 yr old looking for a room. I'm easy going, clean and respectful. I've lived in many share houses before so am experienced. I enjoy socialising but also like my quiet time. Love watching movies, cooking and hanging out with friends. Love animals but don't have any pets of my own. Looking for somewhere close to public transport. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
I’m very relaxed and a little bit quiet and shy. I’d like to live with people who are fun and easygoing. I’m quite creative and play guitar, do photography, draw, and I have a couple of very cuddly pet rats. Last year I was doing the diploma of photography and digital imaging at tafe, and this year I’m looking at getting an apprenticeship in tattooing.
I’m a 25 year old full time restaurant manager in Hamilton! I’m easy going live a chat and to be social but definitely like my down time ! I’m looking to move closer to town as I currently live too far out
