I'm an operating theatre registered nurse and in the process of joining the military reserves. I'm hoping to move when I've found the right place. I'm also interested to team up with someone or a few people to get a nice place together. I am calm natured, easy going and easy to get along with. I'm a tidy and clean person. I love to relax on my off days and have a nice cup of coffee. I'm also well travelled and look forward to doing more of it.
Hi, we have a great room for rent in a large house in Maryville, right next to the Throsby Creek cycle path into town, short walk to Islington, Wickham, Hamilton, TAFE etc. Excellent pub and bakery / caf close by. On a quiet street, with a huge backyard and a separate storage shed. For rent is a large bright bedroom (4.5m square - not pictured), with remote controlled aircon - essential for summer!, and huge built in cupboards / hanging space. Room is unfurnished. The rest of the house is furnished. The place is pretty big, there are a few separate areas to chill, watch TV, study etc. You'll be sharing with a guy and girl who work and are friendly and down to earth. Sarah is a doctor, and I run a small business. We split bills (unlimited NBN internet, gas, power). House also has some other mod cons eg spa bath. Ideal housemate : Happy, chilled, mature, independent, reliable and clean. Cats considered.
Hello! I'm looking for suitable accomodation for me and my 2 year old Cattle Dog X. He is really great dog... always clean, toilet trained, can go on command, is very obedient to humans, submissive to both dogs & cats, doesn't have any destructive behaviours and is just a big ball of love & joy. I'm studying full-time from July and I work part time. Although I am young, I have been renting for two years so I have reliable references for both me and my dog. I'm looking for somewhere preferably around Wickham, Islington or Maryville but surrounding suburbs like Hamilton, Mayfield, Tighes Hill, Georgetown, Cooks Hill or Carrington are accessible too. I spend most free time taking my dog for walks, reading, gardening or working on creative projects. I'm a very tidy and respectful person. I prefer to keep my social life out of the house so I have a quite place to recharge. I'm looking for relaxed housemates to share a space with I really hope to hear from you. Thanks!
So here goes, I'm currently living in maitland looking to get out of here and move to Newcastle to be closer to Uni and to also experience that living out of home life. I'm currently working part-time and i'm a first year in psychology... I love music banter and beer. I love to have fun but I also like my alone time. Hopefully I can find someone fun and interesting to move in with to make my experience hella fun!!!
I'm a full time professional looking to join an established house or start a new one. I'm a fan of outdoor activities and cooking delicious meals. I come with a cute little cat who is an adventurous outdoorsy type but sleeps inside at night. You don't have to like cats, she will probably ignore you anyway..
Current student studying podiatry. I work in medical industry currently and hospitality. Play AFL, soccer and mtb ride. Very active. Social and not alot of free time. Me in a nut shell.
Need a place before the 11th of April Currently taking a year off uni to earn some money. I'm super chilled, don't mind a few beverages on the weekend. Super clean and tidy in common areas. Own my own bedroom furniture and a BBQ. But could be able to take conch, dinning table and washing machine from current house, if needed.
We've got a decent size room with a ceiling fan, ensuite and dimmer lights (bow chicka wow wow) in a renovated and awesome place in an even better suburb. It's available ASAP! It has floorboards throughout and has an old feel but is very modern. Our backyard is perfect for friends over for either drinks/ dinner/ whatever you would like! The room has it's own ensuite with a double shower head. You are only sharing with two other legends in their 20's. We would like another to fit in with us. It is a perfect place to call home. If you have any questions or want to have a look, let me know and you're more than welcome! Unfortunately no pets :(
I am a relaxed individual with an open mind to all things, I enjoy cooking, reading, gardening, live music, and yoga. Generally active and healthy - minimum drinking and smoking. Working full time from home and my office. Respect and consideration are at the roots of any action I take, generally speaking I am looking for a housemate who shares the same values.
Hi, I'm studying psychology at UoN, working part-time and I'm in the Army Reserve. Self sufficient and clean. I'm a fun loving social guy, keen for chilled nights and casual drink. I am after a place close to the CBD but it's more important to have friendly and trustworthy flatmates. If it sounds like I would be a good fit for a room at your place please don't hesitate to send me a message. Thanks for your consideration.
Hello! My names Eamon (19), I'm from the Central Coast and am moving to Newcastle to be closer to UON. I can have fun and love to socialise and make new friends but I'm also respectful of other people (I won't throw parties without asking other housemates). I'm neat and tidy and respectful of other people's belongings. I would like a place where all the roommates are friends and get along well as its where we will spend most of our time. I'm also looking at whole houses to rent so if anyone wants to teamup I have a few places I'm looking at near the uni saved.

Hello! I'm 25 years old, born and bred in Newcastle, and having just returned from overseas am looking for somewhere new to call home. Over the years I've lived with males and females, friends and strangers of varying ages, and in places ranging from 14 beds to cosy little terraces, so I'm very much aware of respecting personal space/possessions (but I also like to be social and have the odd dinner or share a bottle of wine or six when time permits). I'm in the final year of my degree this year (and working part-time) so I am looking for somewhere relatively chill whilst I'm up to my neck in study. I'm an easy-going and liberal kind of person so whatever you're into there's no dramas on my end, but I just can't be living in a trap house. I do also like to keep things pretty clean and tidy (within reason), so I'm looking to live with like-minded people in that regard. I'm very conscious of being respectful and cleaning up after myself properly, so to that end you're never going to find a dirty kitchen bench/sink full of dishes/washing machine full of half-damp laundry/bathroom sink full of beard when you get home and just want to relax. If you've got some kind of cleaning routine just let me know what you need me to take over and we're good. I stay pretty active and in my spare time I love to surf, run and box. On top of that I really enjoy cooking for myself and for others (I don't eat meat but it's just a personal choice and I couldn't care less if you do), and if I'm feeling lazy you can find me draped over a piece of furniture with a book at any given hour. Alternatively, if you have a pet I will spend the vast majority of my life patting it, and if it's a dog I'm very happy to run it for you if you ever need. Now that you have this riveting insight into my existence, please get in touch if you've got any questions or if you'd like to meet up for a drink/chat! Cheers.
Hi, We're a couple (25 and 30) with a well trained golden retriever, and our fur baby (cringe...sorry) must come with us. We're laid back and chill, but we also know how to clean and we are sociable but not loud. We're focused on doing well at work and uni and meeting some really cool people along the way. I'm from Newcastle, my husband is Mexican-American (California). He makes great tacos, enchiladas and nachos. I'm working full time and Trevor is studying and working part time. We love movies, laughing and anything creative...save subway artistry. We are looking for a room in a share house with an ensuite or a granny flat. If you feel like getting in touch, just give us a bell or send us an email : )
I love sharing with others and having a laugh. I am an kind, organic loving, community spirit with a somewhat sensible practical side and a love of bikes and bike touring, the outdoors, camping, vegan paleo and wheat free cooking, although I am not vegan. I am planning on studying at Newcastle next year and I am a member of NUSEC and other cool stuff at uni. I am a sydney/ cambridge girl so I am bit conservative in some ways and I can be a bit reclusive at times, as I enjoy reading a great deal. I like quiet nights and treat my home as a sanctuary when I am not away travelling. I like an occassional glass of wine with dinner and an occassional party but I am not a party animal and I am non smoker. I love animals and also enjoy the company of children too. I am responsible fun loving adult very eco conscious and health orientated. I am a member owner of the Beanstalk Organic Food Coop on Church street and an pro-active newcastle community member and a social media junki. I manage a local online social media green guide so I know all there is to know about local green iniatitives and food. I am on the organising committee for next years Students of Sustainability which was won by a dance off this year by the Melbourne University team on behalf of the Newcastle University crew enabling sustainability and supporting local indigenous leaders and culture. I am a bit of geek and I love klezmer!
Hey, I'm tayla! I am moving to Newcastle to work as a paramedic in April. I'm posted at Birmingham Gardens station so anywhere within reasonable driving distance is sweet. I'm easy going and sociable so looking for someone likeminded. I've lived in share houses and always enjoyed the social aspect of doing so. Ideally I'd like to live with someone I can get to know and have a laugh with. Give me a yell for more info :)
Hi, I'm Tanya. I'm a full-time Law and Communications student and part-time barista/waitress from Newcastle. I'm a considerate, clean and social housemate who is always up for a chat, but is more than happy to have quiet nights in as well. I like singing, exercising and going out with friends, and am also an avid movie-watcher and music-listener.
I'm a 28-year old guy who's come Newcastle to study Elec Eng/ Health Science at UoN in addition to working. Originally from Sydney. I'd describe myself as having a cool, considerate nature with a good sense of humour. Strong believer of living fit, healthy & staying active. Love most sports and the outdoors! Usually much prefer cycling to commute to most places. Also very experienced in helping keep a household maintained and running smoothly :-) I'm looking for a simple room - or to share a nice place where I can study, work and be reasonable close to the Uni and the expressway as I do travel down to Syd some weekends. If you're after a housemate who's reliable, fun-loving & easygoing, then get in touch! Open to Teaming up to start a brand new place with cool, easygoing like-minded people - so if you think you'd be a contender (girls or guys) don't be shy haha.
I am an easy going 25 year old vet working in Newcastle. Very open to location, preferably within about 30mins of Hamilton. I am after a place for myself and my 3 dogs (I also have a horse but don't worry he lives elsewhere! 😜). Pippa (6yo border collie x kelpie), Bessie (4yo kelpie) and Rosie (8yo cavalier King Charles) are all very friendly and well behaved. The girls are generally outside when I'm out and inside a fair bit when I am home. We walk at least once a day, usually twice and are out and about a lot when I'm not at work. I like coffee (possibly a little too much), cooking and spending time with my animals (and human friends too I guess 😜). If you would consider me and my lovely mutts please let me know!
Just a couple of fun loving humans looking for a place close to town, we are respectful, tidy and love socialising but do also love our space and will be respectful of your alone time too! If we sound like we would be the perfect addition to your home feel free to send me a message :)
I just moved back to Newcastle after a few years back home. I am easy to get along with and live a foodie coffee obsessed life, I work hard and enjoy the occasional wine and cheese time but am not a hard partier. I am looking for a housemate who is clean and respectful of space but loves a home environment. If that's you send a message through.
I have a lovely room in a light and bright older style renovated house. There is the option of a very large room or a medium sized room (rent would be reduced for the smaller room). Cafes, pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance, and a beautiful walkway just at the end of the street. Bus stop to city across the road. I am in the process of getting the nbn on (proving somewhat troublesome) but once that is connected you are welcome to use - however until then you will need your own internet access.
Room available in Victoria Street, Carrington, to share with one other easy going, creative guy. Great newly renovated place, close to town yet quiet enough to escape. Bus stop is a one minute walk away and will take you into town in ten minutes. 40 minute walk to CBD and 15 minute bike ride via the water. The room available fits a queen size bed and has a large wall to wall built in robe, and a ceiling fan. Floating floorboards are throughout the home, and there's a large deck for entertaining or relaxing in the sun. Kitchen with dishwasher, ceramic cooktop, modern fridge and lots of kitchen gadgets to cook up a storm. Bathroom with rain shower, bath and modern fittings. Rent is $190 per week, paid in advance + bills: quarterly electricity (approx $150 each per quarter) and water (approx $45 each per quarter). Optional fast NBN internet access at $30 per month. Bond four weeks rent - $760. I love to live in a clean and tidy home so looking for a housemate wanting the same. :) Room available 8 April (small) pets subject to approval of real estate. Please let me know a bit about yourself in your response :)
We live in a very large, modern 5 bedroom home. We love living a short walk from Beaumont St, cafés, pubs, shops, parks and Newcastle, and we think you will too! Kitchen has modern appliances including dishwasher and gas cooktop, walk-in pantry and two fridges. House has two large living rooms and an open plan kitchen/dining space. The unfurnished room is a decent size, able to accommodate a queen bed + furnishings and has a built-in wardrobe. Rent is $140 a week + $552 bond (bills additional). Plenty of free street parking and garage space for storage.
Hi im Hayley, I have recently moved to Newcastle from Mudgee and I will be starting full time work on the 17th of March working Monday to Friday. I have lived out of home for the last 6 years and I have a full house of furniture. I have an Aussie Bulldog named Ralph that will be moving with me. During the day when I'm at work Ralph will be outside however when I am home he usually comes inside to lay around and watch TV, he's toilet trained and generally quite lazy however he does enjoy to have a run around and play fetch. Ideally I'm looking for someone that's great with pets and willing to have him around the house. I'm new to town and would like to meet new friends and build great friendships. I enjoy having a chat however my cooking abilities aren't fabulous. I'm super clean and respectful, I enjoy hanging out but also like time to myself. I'm generally quiet during the week and enjoy relaxing after work however I enjoy having a few drinks on the weekends and heading out with friends. I'm looking to team-up with 2-3 people and I'm available to move asap, if you're interested please feel free to contact me 😊
Hi all! I'm Ami. Summing yourself up in a paragraph is probably the hardest thing ever but here goes.. I'm pretty active, I enjoy the gym, hiking, the beach and just generally being out and about! I'm pretty easy going and friendly and would love to move in with like minded people. I don't mind going out for the occasional drink but I'm also quite likely to be curled up at 9pm on a Friday night with a book and a good cuppa tea, grandma at heart :P haha
