Hi, I am a teacher looking to team up with another 30-40 yr old female in a new house. I don't really have a preferred location in mind, so I am open to options. It's more about 'who' rather than 'where' at this stage. I am an energetic person who enjoys yoga, meditation, reading and spending time with like minded people. Don't go out much anymore, I'd much rather dinner, a few quiet drinks and good conversation. I have some furniture, but I have recently given a heap away so I travel light! I am a clean and tidy person, who enjoys cooking for more people than just myself. I have the world's friendliest cat, who will demand little more than cuddles and scratches. I can move at any time, so if you're interested in teaming up, send a message!
Our quaint home is located in a quiet street in Maryville, and has a lovely green backyard with beautiful big trees. The house is old but makes up for that with charm and character. The house has a clean, environmentally conscious, no television, fun, spacious, respectful, communal, peaceful, life loving kind of feel about it at present and we are keen to keep that flowing.
Our house is situated in Maryville a super cute and quiet area minutes walk away from Beaumont street. The room available is a spacious size with an ensuite. You will be sharing with two other females 21 and 22. The house is quite large and has a decent size backyard with a deck which is a ripper for entertaining the boys. The house also has ceiling fans and air conditioning. We are very close the Maryville tav which a nice spot for some trivia and a beer. We have the house furnished so will only need to bring what you need for you room, although if there is anything else you want to use we are open to changing up things and there will be plenty of space out on the deck or in the lounge room for other items you may bring.
We've got a decent size room with a ceiling fan, ensuite and dimmer lights (bow chicka wow wow) in a renovated and awesome place in an even better suburb. It's available at the start of January. It has floorboards throughout and has an old feel but is very modern. Our backyard is perfect for friends over for either drinks/ dinner/ whatever you would like! The room has it's own ensuite with a double shower head. You are only sharing with two other legends in their 20's. We would like another to fit in with us. It is a perfect place to call home. If you have any questions or want to have a look, let me know and you're more than welcome!

Hi, We're a couple (25 and 30) with a well trained golden retriever, and our fur baby (cringe...sorry) must come with us. We're laid back and chill, but we also know how to clean and we are sociable but not loud. We're focused on doing well at work and uni and meeting some really cool people along the way. I'm from Newcastle, my husband is Mexican-American (California). He makes great tacos, enchiladas and nachos, and he's really into science (doing open foundation to get into diagnostic radiography) but used to work as a comedian (don't worry though, he's not annoying). I'm working part-time and thinking about finishing a grad dip in psychology. I love movies, laughing and anything creative...save subway artistry. We are looking for a room in a share house with an ensuite or a granny flat. If you feel like getting in touch, just give us a bell or send us an email : )
I have a full time job in bar work. I am reliable and dependable. I can provide references as I have lived in a previous share house. My fourteen month old Kelpie is a beautiful and loving dog who will practically claim anyone after an hour of knowing them. I am a confident, easy going and bubbly girl. I also have my own car so I am able to transport myself from place to place. I'm always keen for new experiences and love meeting new people. I completely understand the importance of living in a tidy environment, however also understand how unacceptable intrusive behaviour is. Available to move in immediately.
*Unique request for Friday & Sat or weekends only* Leaving Newcastle this week to live in Sydney for work Sunday-Friday, I am a well travelled senior manager within the energy and facilities industry with international experience. A curteous and polite man with a newborn son in Newcastle. Looking ideally for a Friday and Saturday night stay in the mentioned areas to get back up to the man for the weekend. This in itself means I'll be little in the way and respectful, and great for a flexible person/couple/family looking for some extra money with minimal seeing to someone. Born in Ireland and raised in the UK, please get in touch.
Heya, I'm a full-time working dad (Monday-Friday for the government) to a quiet and polite 9 year old gal. My daughter is with me 6 nights a fortnight so I'm essentially looking for two rooms, open to all options but a team-up would be cool (obviously in a 3 bedroom house you would be paying less but only sharing with 1.5 humans :)) - I already have wifi which is movable. I have two cats too who are quite friendly and are litter trained. Other than that I'm pretty chill, like a wine, the beach (am there a lot in summer), reading, and binge watching the odd tv series. I eat fairly healthy and don't mind what kind of diets people have. Only my room and car are messy - so you wouldn't be living with a slob :) I do smoke casually but always outside and it's pretty irregular.
I am a 25 year old girl, and I work full time as a house keeper. I am currently living on a boat and I am looking for a place on land! I am clean, easy going and very well traveled. Originally from England, I have lived abroad for over 7 years, 6 years here in Australia and one year in Papua New Guinea. I have been in Newcastle for roughly a year and I am looking to stay! I have a cat, who is very well trained, super friendly and nearly as well traveled as myself. I like to take it easy on my days off and indulge in my hobbies, which are embroidery and needle lace. Not really a party animal but I do enjoy a drink or two in the evening :)
So I'm currently looking for a place in newcastle, im studying and currently looking for a part time job! I'm reliable, clean and tidy and also am also looking for a place thats a fun and comfortable environment to live in, if you'd like to know any more please to hesitate to ask (:
I'm friendly and easy going, very clean and tidy, looking for somewhere to stay after I sell my house. I am moving into a unit in November 2017, so will need somewhere from about January to November 2017. I have a dog (10 years).
I love sharing with others and having a laugh. I am an kind, organic loving, community spirit with a somewhat sensible practical side and a love of bikes and bike touring, the outdoors, camping, vegan paleo and wheat free cooking, although I am not vegan. I am planning on studying at Newcastle next year and I am a member of NUSEC and other cool stuff at uni. I am a sydney/ cambridge girl so I am bit conservative in some ways and I can be a bit reclusive at times, as I enjoy reading a great deal. I like quiet nights and treat my home as a sanctuary when I am not away travelling. I like an occassional glass of wine with dinner and an occassional party but I am not a party animal and I am non smoker. I love animals and also enjoy the company of children too. I am responsible fun loving adult very eco conscious and health orientated. I am a member owner of the Beanstalk Organic Food Coop on Church street and an pro-active newcastle community member and a social media junki. I manage a local online social media green guide so I know all there is to know about local green iniatitives and food. I am on the organising committee for next years Students of Sustainability which was won by a dance off this year by the Melbourne University team on behalf of the Newcastle University crew enabling sustainability and supporting local indigenous leaders and culture. I am a bit of geek and I love klezmer!
I'm a friendly, single, non-smoker who is looking to find a warm and inviting home in Newcastle. I currently live in Sydney, but I've just been offered a 9 month contract at a school in the Hunter Valley and so am needing to relocate. I enjoy chilling out, drinking wine and watching netflix, playing video games, and chatting. But I'm also more than happy to go out and be social. I have no friends currently in Newcastle so I'm keen to meet new people. My workload will probably be pretty intense so I'd like to find housemates that understand that I will occasionally need some quiet. Keen to find a friendly new house to start my new life in Newcastle in!
Looking for a room in a share house. I prefer suburbs near town/ the beach. Ideally would like to find somewhere asap! I moved up here at the start of the year from Melbourne so I am excited to meet some new people. Ive been living in share houses for the last 13 years. So I’m very tidy, respectful and all that stuff. Pay bills on time, and like to live with people who are the same… I like sharing with people who are relaxed, laid-back, friendly and like a laugh. I Enjoy a chat and cuppa with housemates whenever but also I am pretty busy and like to do my own thing. When I’m not at work I enjoy checking out new bars/ cafes, gym/ walks, beach, reading, watching films and drinking wine :)
3 really easy going, accepting of all Newcastle girls who all work 40+ hours a week each, working in Aged Care, Medical Reception and Hospitality. Looking to move in mid January
Large sunny loft area in 3 bedroom house with built-ins. Sharing with 2 girls in their 20's. 5 minutes walk to Carrington cafe's, pubs and Antojito's, 15 minute drive/20 minute cycle to the beach. Courtyard and grassed area with barbecue for summer. House is fully furnished except upstairs, but plenty of room in the house and a shed at the back if you have more furniture!
Hi everyone! I have 2 rooms available in Hamilton. The house is located a short walk from Beaumont st, Hamilton station, cafes, pubs etc. The rooms are both a decent size that can easily fit a queen bed. One room has a small sized wardrobe and room for a chest of drawers. The other room has a built in wardrobe. I'm 27yo, work full time and enjoy quiet nights through the week but also like to be social and have a few drinks on the weekend. Cleaning is shared and done on a regular basis. I have a dog (dachshund) so it would be better if you liked animals :-) He spends time both inside and outside of the house but is very clean! He's very loveable and enjoys cuddles. The yard isn't big enough to take on any other animals, sorry! Rent is $190/week. Wifi is an extra $20/month and all other bills are split. Feel free to msg me with any questions along with a little bit about yourself. Kayla :-)
My flat is on top of the landlords business and is a 3 minute drive from Newcastle town. Lounge, dining and kitchen are combined in an open plan with doors that open onto a balcony. Foxtel is in the lounge room, there is air-conditioning. The bedroom is a medium size and will easily fit a double bed with room for a desk. The wardrobe is on the small side so you may need extra storage for clothes if you have a lot! I am really looking for someone who is clean/ cleans up after themselves, as i had issues with my previous roommate regarding this. I expect you to respect my furniture and any of my belongings in the shared areas.
Nice, spacious room in renovated house with ceiling fan, drawers and clothes hanger. The room has plenty of light. The room has It's own entry from outside. Person must be full time worker, clean and tidy. Close to Beaumont Street, shops and transport. Please text as easier to reply.
Working full time as a barista/waitress. Relatively quiet, but do enjoy a night out. Have a dog, Kara, who's very friendly once she knows you and a good guard dog. Enjoy yoga, reading, hiking, good food and going out.
Hi, I am looking for an unfurnished room, preferably either near the Uni or the beach and town. I am 23 and looking for housemates in their early twenties. I am a very clean and tidy housemate. I respect others belongings and space, and always clean up after myself. I'm very friendly, and have been living in Newcastle for the past 8 months. I am studying architecture, and work in hospitality, and am originally from the Blue Mountains. I love to explore the Newcastle area, and enjoy socializing. I have been living in a share house, but my landlord want access to the house over the summer, so am looking for a new place. Thanks :)
Hi, My names Mel, I love the outdoors, keeping busy and socialising. I hope to live with a good group of people who you can chat and socialise with as well as respect eachothers space and tidy up yourself.
I'm an active hard working individually who likes to paint and go to the beach when I have free time. I'm 20 but have lived out of home for 2 years. Happy to move into an already existing house share or to look for a place with other people.
I'm an easy going person looking for a relaxed and social atmosphere. I work full time and play oztag and waterpolo so I won't be in your hair all the time. I keep communal areas clean and respect housemates boundaries. I enjoy getting outdoors and having a drink on the weekend.
Hi I'm pretty easy going, enjoy being social and also enjoy my own space. I'm tidy in shared areas and respect other peoples' space too. I love being active and enjoying the beach, walks, kayaking, snowboarding, painting, photography. I currently work as a training manager and will soon be embarking on full time art study for a year and will be working part time when that happens as part of a career break (I get my normal job back after the year). I'm really excited about this new opportunity. Looking for a friendly, chilled out, tidy home with lovely flatmates. Preferably in Newcastle CBD but not essential for the right home as long as transport is near by and easy :) Will need parking (street parking is ok). I also have a 2m kayak I'd like to be able to store if possible (it fits in a normal garage just fine on it's side). I have a house full of furniture, whitegoods, BBQ, kitchenware etc if anything is needed. I can store these elsewhere too, no issues. I don't have any pets, but am totally ok if you do. Cheers :)
Hiya, I'm Andrew, I'm 25. I've lived in Newcastle my entire life primarily around New Lambton & Dudley with abit of travelling this year. I'm seeking a place close to the CBD and/or one of the many beaches around town. I currently work 4 days a week in Architecture whilst studying my masters, I love being near the ocean and being as active as possible, surfing/biking/skating/yoga, whatever! I do partake in enjoying a casual beer or red wine as much as the next guy too. I don't smoke also and think dogs are the best thing ever. I've lived previously in a flat with one other person, and consider myself a very relaxed and easygoing person that can respect others space & daily routines. I'm very clean, particularly in the kitchen. Ideally, I'm seeking a place that has good off street parking, storage for a mountain bike and within 25 minutes ride into the CBD. Feel free to contact me if you think I might be your guy :) Andrew
