Hey, I'm Abby and I'm 29. I work full time as a Social Worker and am passionate about the work that I do. I am easy going and considerate of others. I am looking for a share house that is social but not a party house. I have a puppy, Scout, so I would need to find somewhere suitable for her. It is important to me that the people I live with love animals so that I know she will be safe and looked after. I am pretty active but also like to stay in and watch Netflix. I love to travel, meet new people and eat good food.
I'm a 27 year old female working full time in recruitment and casually in a bar/restaurant. I'm looking for a furnished room up until early April as I'm planning on heading back overseas around then. I come with no drama, a good sense of humor and I'm neat and tidy. I love to cook, play netball, the gym and the beach (hoping to learn to surf this summer). Lover of coffee and a Sunday B&E cook up! I'm pretty easy going, like to have a bit of a social chat and a drink but also happy keeping to myself. I've spent a lot of time travelling and living in all sorts of different environments so I'm pretty versatile. Cheers! Gabs
28 y/o creative designer with a friendly+low risk cat (Mishka). I am extremely tidy, respectful and environmental. I like to be social on weekends and would like to host friends over for wine and such from time to time. My ideal housemates would be super cool, cultured, love a drink, going to gigs and social events, good music, are clean, sustainable and have an interest in recycling/minimising waste. I am interested in starting a share house. Move in date is flexible AROUND XMAS/NYE length of stay but prefer 6+ months and around The Hill/Cooks Hill/Newy East area.
35 year Registered Nurse. Have an 11 month male poodle called Marley. Easy going. Love the beach, outdoors. Not into crazy nights. Work part time. Enjoy positivity and great food, company and laughter.
Recently renovated house close to town. A thirty second walk to the Maryville Tavern. Close to cycleways, TAFE and UoN. The house has a new kitchen and bathroom. New split system AC in the main living area and a gas heater for winter. All bedrooms are freshly painted and have new carpet. The house has a new large back deck. The room has new built in wardrobes and a new split system AC. I'm asking $230 per week plus share of utilities. House has a dishwasher, washing machine and pretty much everything else. You just need to turn up with your bed and mattress.
I’m easy to get along with and to talk to, I’ll be studying at uon in a degree of communications. I’ll also be working casually on top of my study. I’d love to live with a welcoming group of people who are both social and like to chill on their own. I love to cook (I’ll be nice and share😉) , write and read.
Very chill guy and easy to get along with. I currently work part time and study. I'm tidy and never miss rent payment.
Hello, I'm a full time worker looking to rent a room. I work an hour away so I am up early and can be back late. I enjoy going to the gym, going for walk, the beach and reading. I am social and enjoy a sneaky wine every now and then but also love my down time. I am clean and super respectful. I've lived in Newcastle for 2 and a half years and absolutely love it!
Hey! I’m Jorden. I’m a 26 year old female, working full time in Tomago. I’ve recently moved up to Newcastle from Sydney and originally from Wollongong. Hi. I am looking for a quiet place to spend my time while not at work in a busy cafe or at TAFE. I am studying Conservation & Land Management with a view to further studies at Newcastle University. Having already completed an Ad Dip in Fine Art I spend a fair bit of my home time drawing/creating, but also enjoy reading, cycling, crosswords and a decent cup of coffee. I don't smoke or drink and am chasing a nice comfortable lifestyle in a calm household. I keep my own spaces tidy and tight and have a healthy amount of respect for personal space and keeping communal areas clean for everyone else. Though I'm a bit quiet and unintrusive by nature, I have an open attitude to others' more outgoing activities and don't mind a bit of loudness around me. Looking for people that accommodate and respect likewise.

New house-person wanted to share a beautiful three-bedroom character-filled home in Islington. The house is well furnished, filled with artworks and comes with a well-used open fireplace. The house is kept clean and tidy and has a couple of living spaces. It’s a stone’s throw from the best coffee in town (aka Suspension), Hamilton train station and Beaumont St. The housemate will ideally be reliable with the rent, clean and tidy and have extensive life experience. Rent is $250/week and includes all bills (electricity, water, gas, internet). Third room is a spare / office / reading room that is also available for occasional guests. Potential housemates who smoke can do so outdoors.
21 years old, I have recently become straight edge (no smoking or drugs, occasional drinker since the 1st of Nov) for my own health and fitness goals, I love the gym and play multiple instruments with my main being guitar. Looking to move asap as I am sick of living with too many people at any given time in a halfway home setup, where people do not know how to clean up after themselves or manage their finances effectively (I am a tenant here with 4 other housemates and 2 couch surfers). I am a cleaner at Coles so you can expect me to leave no mess and have the place spotless. You can also expect that I will keep to myself mostly, like I'm not even there, unless you're after more of a social household, I'm flexible on that front. That said, I have strong communication skills and am a very upfront person, so I talk about things that are on my mind so that everyone understands how I feel about stuff, good or bad. I'm happy to make friends if there are common interests, have no problem if there aren't. End of the day I'm just after a quieter household with more responsible people. Cheers!
Well Hello, I'm looking for a comfortable and functional, free-flowing and relaxing household - to move into in November 2018. I can either provide my own furniture or I can settle with furniture provided. I'd like to live close to the CBD, Beach or Surrounding areas of Newcastle. I'm currently living on the Central Coast moving to study Bus/Inn at UoN. I am very easy going, fun, love a red wine or beer, I'm very chilled and "not a party animal". I am very sympathetic to my roommates and respectful to the home I live in. Honest, a damm decent cook, I love animals but I also very much need my own space and quiet time like we all do. I'm extremely clean and somewhat like to clean haha I'm looking for a household with similar interests to me, preferably student accommodation or around my age. However, I do enjoy the company of more mature people and i definitely get along with all types of people. Shoot me a message if you have anything available, or if you would like to chat about anything further :) or if you'd like to get a vibe of the type of person I am. Don't be shy :) Cheers, Sam
Hi there I'm a responsible 31 yr old Christian looking for a room. Currently studying through TAFE online. I'm easy going, clean and respectful. I've lived in many share houses before so am experienced. I enjoy socialising but also like my quiet time. Love watching movies, cooking and hanging out with friends. Love animals but don't have any pets of my own. Looking for somewhere close to public transport. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
I'm 25 years old and moved to Newcastle just three months ago from the US. I've been working as an au pair since I got to Australia. My time with my host family ends in February, but I'm looking to move sooner than that, while I'm also currently looking for other jobs in the area. I'd be happy to lease a place for 6 months. I'm thinking about applying for my second year visa, where I would have to work somewhere rural sometime around June, which is why I am ideally looking for only a 6 month lease. I love the beach, good food, beer and wine, anything to do with music especially seeing live music. I love to be social but I also like having my own time to chill and be independent. I also love traveling and exploring new places which I plan to do a lot more of while I'm here in Aus!
Currently I am working part time as an educator while studying law and arts full time in Newcastle and I'm looking for somewhere to move to for the new year! I'm neat and relatively organised, in my free time I speed watch tv, recompose my room design, read when I can and enjoy generally exploring the city. Not a huge partier but that doesn't mean I won't enjoy the occasional casual after work drinks and snacks. Looking for somewhere to live longer term that feels less like a house and more like a home. I mostly keep to myself but can hold a conversation and 4/3 people surveyed say my sense of humour is delightful with an occasional dash of black comedy.
3 bedroom modern townhouse with a room up for rent in Carrington. Right next to the canal and park this place has a great courtyard for afternoon drinks on a quiet street. Only 15min walk to the train station and Honeysuckle it would perfectly suit anyone working in town or going to uni. Carrington presents the best in being close whilst also being quiet. The room has a built in robe, share bathroom (with another girl) and faces the Northern sun giving the room plenty of light. The last tenant had a double bed and a desk and still had a nice amount of room. Internet is unlimited and included in the rent. Note: furnishings in photos are not current
I'm about to commence my Masters of Teaching (Secondary) at University full-time as of next year and am currently working three casual jobs (administrative in an emergency department, hospitality in a local vegetarian whole food cafe and tutoring several high school students) which keeps me relatively busy, where I work around 6 days a week between them. I am a lover of the outdoors, enjoy the beach & swimming, hiking, socialising and spending time with my friends, being creative and enjoy going to the gym each morning - so I would definitely say I'm an early riser, as I love to get out and make the most of the day! I am a very clean and tidy individual and am respectful of others belongings and space, I would say I'm neither introverted nor extroverted, but a nice medium in-between where I prefer to chat and socialise with others but highly value my alone time as well, so hopefully moving in with like-minded individuals would be beneficial for all. I would ultimately love to move in with a group of people who love having fun, work hard, love life & would be open to forming a good friendship with myself and have the occasional drink or meal together.
I am looking for some share accommodation around the newcastle area. I get along with most people and love to have pets around. I am way past the party animal stage. These days prefer a relaxed time. Enjoy a social drink and meal and really enjoy having a chat. I am house trained and prefer to keep things clean and tidy
Hi, I'm haylee I work part-time at KFC, my partner works full-time at Frost. I'm from a Ukrainian background so food and cooking is a must for me! I'm looking for 1-2 bedrooms either shared accomadation or not.
Hi I’m Becky - small business owner, mature, fun and friendly. I’m an experienced house sharer looking for a stable, social home for me and my gorgeous little 2 year old staffy-cross rescue Reuben. I have most of the furniture needed for a house but am willing to sell a fair amount. I’m looking to move into an established house that needs a few things (I do have a great dining table), but I am also open to starting a new lease with someone awesome and can provide pretty much all the household items. I love photography, nature, eating out and an occasional good movie night. I am pretty community focussed and have a few jobs and connections in the city. I love my houseplants and would love to find a nice spot for them. As a housemate I am respectful, clean, and compassionate. Reuben is 2 1/2, very social and loyal. He loves playing ball and hanging out with his humans, and he is smart, very trainable and adaptable. He wants to be friends with most animals and settles well after getting pretty excited at first! I can give photos and doggy housemate references, and am happy to do a few meetings if need be. :)
Full time working Landscape Architect. Easy going and enjoy spending time with others as well as alone. Respect other's space and help where I can. Like to think I am neat and tidy, enjoy cooking and conversation. Ideally looking to move in with people who are easy going and interested in conversation here and there.
