My name is Beth I'm 25 and I am cheerful and very easy going. I am currently in my honours year of psychology so I spend most of my time concentrating on my studies. I like to socialise but also spending time on my own. My hobbies include Yoga (at yoga loft) swimming, walking, drawing and vegging out in front of the tv. I am super tidy and not a party animal, my party days are well and truely behind me. I have a very cute 3 year old Maltese who is house trained and very well behaved (you wouldn't even notice she was around).
Hi, I'm a seasoned housemate and pride myself on living in clean, respectful environments. Currently studying Occupational Therapy at Newcastle University and work part-time for myself. I am the proud owner of an eight year old Alaskan malamute, name Mia. She is too friendly and difficulty not to dote on. I'm looking for a place that I can relax and retire to. My work is contractual and often done during uni holidays, where I can be away for weeks at a time. I'm not a partier at all and enjoy keeping fit with Mia or hitting the gym regularly. I'd like to live in a house that is friendly and welcoming. I am currently in the Middle East for work and looking for a place to move into on my return.

Would suit a young female professional. The room is private, carpeted and has a fan, double mirrored built in wardrobe and a large bathroom. Would suit a Uni student or fully employed woman. Internet included in the rent and other bills split.

I work random days through the week and on the weekends and I am also studying some maritime qualifications which keeps me pretty busy and I try and get out doors to the beach as often as possible. I'm relaxed, tidy and easy to get along with so I'm looking for similar house mates. Hoping for a place somewhere in town within a short driving/walking distance to the beach so Cooks Hill, Hamilton, Carrington, Maryville, Wickham anywhere kind of in that area would be great. I have a few surfboards, paddle boards, camping stuff etc so be good if the place had a garage or somewhere to keep that sort of gear.

I'm neat and tidy and respectful of other people's belongings. I would like a place where all the roommates are friends and get along well as its where we will spend most of our time. I'm also looking at whole houses to rent so if anyone wants to teamup I have a few places I'm looking at near the uni saved.

Hi! My name is Hannah and I am currently studying music, going into my third year now! I am a social and friendly person who doesn't mind a few social drinks, but also really enjoy my quiet time. I like watching tv shows, hanging with friends and going for walks with my dog. I am looking for a teamup to start a new share house as my current one is coming to an end. I've been looking and applying for houses in the last month or so. The only other thing is that I have a little rescue doggie, her name is Lyla! She's the cutest little thing, so you must love dogs! If you think we would be a good match please send me a message and we can look at houses together!
I am a 27yr old professional working in his own video production business. I also work a side job that helps bring in constant cash flow. I am a self-sufficient guy who works a lot and during downtime likes to chill and switch off by spending time either watching a film, tv series or reading a book. Would love to find somewhere to live by mid Jan
Hi, We're a couple (25 and 30) with a well trained golden retriever, and our fur baby (cringe...sorry) must come with us. We're laid back and chill, but we also know how to clean and we are sociable but not loud. We're focused on doing well at work and uni and meeting some really cool people along the way. I'm from Newcastle, my husband is Mexican-American (California). He makes great tacos, enchiladas and nachos, and he's really into science (doing open foundation to get into diagnostic radiography) but used to work as a comedian (don't worry though, he's not annoying). I'm working part-time and thinking about finishing a grad dip in psychology. I love movies, laughing and anything creative...save subway artistry. We are looking for a room in a share house with an ensuite or a granny flat. If you feel like getting in touch, just give us a bell or send us an email : )
*Unique request for Friday & Sat or weekends only* Leaving Newcastle this week to live in Sydney for work Sunday-Friday, I am a well travelled senior manager within the energy and facilities industry with international experience. A curteous and polite man with a newborn son in Newcastle. Looking ideally for a Friday and Saturday night stay in the mentioned areas to get back up to the man for the weekend. This in itself means I'll be little in the way and respectful, and great for a flexible person/couple/family looking for some extra money with minimal seeing to someone. Born in Ireland and raised in the UK, please get in touch.
Hey I'm Jess and i'm an easy-going, busy girl who has lived in share houses my whole life. I work Monday to Saturday during the day and am about to commence study part time at Newcastle Tafe. I'm quiet during the week, and usually out on the weekends.
I'm an easy going, fun loving guy, not much of a party enthusiast but love socializing with friends and flatmates for an occasional drink. I love trying out various cuisines and you can always count on me to grab a bite with you... I believe in staying fit and enjoy my runs! In my spare time, I can watch movies and tv series endlessly :) I'm moving to New Castle for about 6 months for work and am looking out for a team-up or a flat to share... Cheers!
Hey, I'm Sarah. I'm a third year nutrition and dietetics student looking for a place close to the beach with some rad people. Very easy-going, neat and tidy. Not a massive party animal but definitely enjoy a glass of wine and a chat. I'd love to live with other people who are active and love the outdoors.! Flexible with dates but looking to move at some point in Feb!
i work as a barista so already I have your attention. I'm up at 4:30am most morning so I will need to be with people who don't mind me getting up that early. I tend to kept to myself but don't mind a "family" BBQ and a couple of drinks. Just looking for somewhere that makes it feel like home and not like I'm bothering and inconvenience to anyone. I'm clean and I'm a massive push over so I'll be deso for you. Just like to see people happy.
G'day Mate, My names Dan and I am currently studying a sound engineering course at Tighes Hill TAFE. I am From the Hunter Valley region and would like a change of scenery. I have been offered a job as a sound technician in the Newcastle area but until I am based there they will not accept, hence the urgency of residents. My main interests would be socializing with mates, having a few beers, swimming at the beach, lots of fishing and absolutely anything music related. Cheers, Dan
Heya, I'm a full-time working dad (Monday-Friday for the government) to a quiet and polite 9 year old gal. My daughter is with me 6 nights a fortnight so I'm essentially looking for two rooms, open to all options but a team-up would be cool (obviously in a 3 bedroom house you would be paying less but only sharing with 1.5 humans :)) - I already have wifi which is movable. I have two cats too who are quite friendly and are litter trained. Other than that I'm pretty chill, like a wine, the beach (am there a lot in summer), reading, and binge watching the odd tv series. I eat fairly healthy and don't mind what kind of diets people have. Only my room and car are messy - so you wouldn't be living with a slob :) I do smoke casually but always outside and it's pretty irregular. I have all the needed household items from toaster to a fridge and washing machine!
I'm easy going and low maintenance, always up for a laugh and good conversation and I respect privacy and personal space. I have just moved from far north Queensland and am looking to start a whole new life here! I love the outdoors and exploring, live music and anything creative! Looking for an easy going household, so if you have something you think would suit me please get in touch😆

I'll keep this short and sweet :) I'm looking for a room to rent in the Newcastle region (preferably close to the beach). I'm 27. I work full-time Monday to Friday. I love getting to the beach and the gym! I love a drink and socializing with friends. But I also like some quiet time! I'm respectable & clean
Hey I'm Riley, a 20 year old engineering student at UON I'm always friendly, personable, and responsible, since I have experienced in a large variety of living situations with people of all backgrounds. I'm a bartender at one of Newcastle busiest bars. If I'm not working, I love to have a good time whenever circumstances and my university schedule permits. I am clean, quiet, and conscientious. Non smoker. Pet and LGBT+ friendly Happy to live with either gender across a variety of sharing options. Student house would be preferred, though not compulsory.
Two friendly young guys working full-time and studying IT at UON. We're looking for a third person who's interested in renting somewhere sort of in the area of Mayfield East. Mayfield, Tighes Hill, etc. Looking to rent something with 3 bedrooms, potentially a 4th for shared office space. Aiming at $175 per person per week roughly. Tidy, organised, friendly dudes with good senses of humour and lots of furniture.
Hey I'm Kimberly. I'm looking to live with fun, nice and social people! I don't want to be there to just rent a room. I'm a very easy going, neat and tidy person! Always respectful towards anyone's privacy and down time etc. Gender isn't an issue. Would prefer to live with people between 18-25. If you have/know of a place just message me with a bit about yourself and the place etc. xx
I am in an unusual position l work full -time an hour north of Newcastle l live in the residences attached to my practice and so really only want somewhere to escape to maybe one night during the week and on weekends. I prefer it to be near the beaches preferably one with an ocean swimming pool.
Hi, I'm Becky. I'm a professional working in disability / social justice and I'm moving to Newcastle to work and do a Masters in Public Health. I'm a photographer and I love camping, animal spotting, yoga, and cinema. Am a bit left of centre and very open minded. I'm a friendly, social, relaxed, clean and considerate housemate. I've over 10 years housesharing and I've made some great ongoing friendships from it. I'd love to find a home with people who have their own lives but who are social and open to a drink or occasional shared meals and adventures. I have friends in the area but would like to meet more locals. I also hope to find a place with a dog, or where there is a possibly of introducing a dog some time in the future.
Hi I'm Hayley, I work full time, I'm an easy going person who enjoys a good chat however I also appreciate my own space and am respectful of the space of others. As long as the common areas in the house are clean I'm happy, but funky smells coming from rooms are gross. I've been living alone for the last six months but would love to find a place with a housemate or two as a way to mix things up a bit and a way to meet new people. I enjoy going to the beach, for hikes or visiting family on the weekends and even having social drink here or there, as well as reading, attempting to draw and sitting and watching a good movie or tv show. I also have a cat that I have recently adopted so she will be coming with me. She is very affectionate and has previously been socialized with other cats, however any dogs would need to remain in the yard. I'm hoping to find a housemate or two who I hope to get to know as friends. I'm preferably looking to start a new share house as I have some furniture from my time living on my own. Feel free to message me with any questions.
Mate, where do I start? This house has got soul. It's a spacious single-storey place in early 1900's style that the owner has added to over time in keeping with its theme - wood and stone with tiled and carpeted interiors. Just some of the perks of living here: * Front porch and pergola at the rear * Huge kitchen * Shower and bath * Lush green yards * A thirty-second walk from the main road w/ a bottle-o, grocer, bakery, pubs, and the best tacos in Newy * On-street parking and a bus runs just around the corner * Park/running track along the river * A short walk over the bridge from Wickham/Honeysuckle * Foxtel * NBN/wifi Most of the house is furnished except for the vacant room, which is at the front of the house with built-ins and a window. There's room in the kitchen to put an additional (medium-sized) fridge if you'd prefer to keep your own. The backyard is shared with a house on the same property but it is quiet and private. Smoking is permitted outdoors. Bills/utilities included in rent.
This very secure 2 bedroom 2 bathroom property is in wonderful condition. It's close to everything Newcastle has to offer, but located in a 'hidden' street, so it's very private and quiet. The room is unfurnished, but the house is completely furnished with modern appliances and everything required for comfortable living. Two very gorgeous, gentle, funny, clean, house-trained Tonkinese (low-allergy) cats are also included. You must treat them with kindness and respect. This is non-negotiable. In turn they will provide you with snuggles and hours of entertainment.
Only a beautiful 20 minute walk along the water to Newcastle CBD or 2 minutes drive. Big, beautiful, light filled house with a big yard. Security bond is required. Please no couples. Preferably a young uni student or worker who's easy going and reliable. Great atmosphere in the area and a very friendly community. I'm just after someone who will be clean, respectful and friendly. I have excellent wifi too; so a total bonus for a student/worker who needs internet at home. Also, I have a gorgeous pupper named comet who lives here with me. However, I am not approved for other animals sorry! P.S. Duration of stay may be extended depending on how well you and I both enjoy living together!
We have 1 large room available in a 2 story terrace house in Carrington. House will be furnished but room not. All bills split evenly. You will be sharing with a couple, 26-33 years. Pretty easy going, love music and food. Not a big party house but sociable. 2 weeks bond required. message a little information about yourself. Preferably someone working full time. Sms only.
Hi friends! 👋🏻 I'm taking over the lease for this cute little shack for some friends of mine and looking for a new friend to share it with! (Pictures are from the realestate as my mates are still living there) It's located just a street behind Beaumont in Hamilton. The room would be unfurnished, sharing bathroom, kitchen, lounge room etc. There's a backyard which I am told can cater a small pet. Most of he house will be unfurnished so your initiation will be to help me storm Kmart and gumtree! Rent will be $185 a week, included internet-bills split and there would be a 3 week bond or you shall not pass..
Up for grabs is a massive room in this large two-storey house in Carrington. The lease has now expired but I've been approved to go around again so I'm looking for a new housemate to share this unreal place with. It's available from the 30th of January which is short notice but I've had my friend unfortunately pull out because of work, so here I am! A bit about the house and apologies for the story (thanks realestate.com): This beautiful two bedroom, stand-alone, terrace style house is filled with character and charm. It features two living areas and polished timber floorboards throughout. Immediately to your left as you enter the house is the first, separate lounge room. Further down the hall you will find the second living area, which has an ornate fireplace (not for use) and walks through to the open plan kitchen and dining area. The tiled kitchen is modern and spacious and has dark grey marble benches, an island bench that doubles as a breakfast bar with built-in wine racks. There is also a gas cooktop, oven, Bosch dishwasher, and plenty of bench and cupboard space with a large pantry. The kitchen extends into the tiled dining area that gets plenty of natural light. Through large, sliding glass doors, the living extends out onto a partially covered timber deck, ideal for entertaining. The easy to maintain backyard features a small garden shed and a very small strip of grass. Back inside, just off the dining to the left is the laundry and a second toilet. Heading upstairs and straight ahead you will find the first bedroom (this would be yours). It is quite large and includes a ceiling fan, a mirrored built-in wardrobe and leads out to the lovely terrace balcony overlooking the street out the front. Down the hallway, the beautifully presented, spacious bathroom is to your left. It has a large shower, a wooden vanity with two basins, a large mirror overhead, and a toilet. It has classic beige colourings and lots of natural light from the skylight.
