Hi! Liv and I are looking for someone to join our beautiful 3 bedroom share house in Mawson over summer. The room has a massive cupboard, heating and air conditioning and direct access to the balcony with lots of natural light. You'll be sharing a big bathroom with one person and the room comes with a double bed. The house is a 15 minute walk from The Hospital, close to public transport and Woden Westfield and a short walk to Mawson shops. The house has lots of living space with a new kitchen, 2 living rooms and small backyard that is super low maintenance but perfect for an afternoon wine. We're looking for someone who loves to have a wine and watch a movie in the evenings and live in a social household while understanding that uni gets busy sometimes. We're both super clean and are looking for someone who wants to live in a clean and tidy house and ideally stay for 12 months.
I enjoy a chat and some banter but I also like to simply chill/relax on my own. Also, I like getting outdoors to do things like bushing walking and socialising out of the house. Wholistic health is an interest of mine too. Furthermore, I am not from Canberra but I have been here a few years. Whilst, I work in a busy caring field/environment 4-5 days per week in a permanent part-time role and plan to do some post graduate studies. It is a value of mine to be considerate to my flatmates by being tidy in communal living areas. Valuing a house that is a place that respects others for example being noise conscious to others flatmates ✌️ and letting my housemates know in advance if I have a friend over. In saying that I tend to socialise mostly out of the house. I am looking to move in November, December or January.

Hey there, I'm looking for a room in Canberra, preferably somewhere near some trails/hills. I work full time and love getting up early and out on my bike or outside for a run. My partying days are behind me but I love a good wine and a yarn over dinner (full disclosure: I am a hopeless cook). I moved to Canberra for work from regional Victoria and I'm looking for something long term. I'd like a space where I can sleep and sometimes work. Bike storage space is also important. Let me know if you think I'd be a good fit for your place. Karla
I'm coming to Canberra from Melbourne, leaving an academic career for a research job at Parliament House. That job starts on 6/1/20. I'm married, with a grown up family. My wife will likely come to stay weekends several times/year. I'm quiet, but not a recluse. I’m house trained, and am looking to be part of a well organised and tidy household. I go to bed fairly early, get up early. I like getting regular exercise - Pilates, yoga, etc. (In fact, I’m a recently qualified Pilates instructor.) I ride a bike. I like to go for long walks. I don't drink much, I eat simple/clean food.
Mahalia and myself are both shift workers. Mahalia is a nurse at The Canberra Hospital and I work in Maritime Radio. We love our dog and 2 cats to bits and ensure that they are suitably spoiled. We are a bit nerdy, with a love for video games, dungeons and dragons, and a good netflix binge. I used to be a chef, so a place with a sick kitchen and somewhere for my smoker is a must. We like our personal space, but also love a banter and a few bevvies in the sun.
Hello, I work full time in the public service in Woden and am looking for someone who is quiet and respects privacy. My partner who currently lives in Melbourne may visit once or twice a month for a few days (till she eventually finds a job and moves to Canberra at that time I'll be looking for an entire place for us). At this stage I am looking for anywhere between 3-6 months. Thank you.
