I'm a lawyer (formerly a Canberra local but currently overseas) coming to Canberra for a 3 month work stint. I've lived in a lot of sharehouses and think I make a good housemate; I'm tidy, quiet and will be working weekdays and probably away every other weekend. I only need a place until mid-Feb but am flexible about location (preferably south side or city for an easy commute to Tuggeranong)! I'm interested in either a self-contained apartment/granny flat or a room in a sharehouse with its own bathroom. I look forward to hearing from you :)

Im a Kiwi from Auckland, I have been in Australia for nearly 3 years. Im currently working until Janurary in regional WA as a Nurse and will move to Canberra for a permanent position.I hope to continue my post graduate education and get a better chance to explore Canberra. Im a clean, tidy and quiet person, easy to live with.
I am a health professional currently looking for a property and a suitable housemate to share within close proximity to the Canberra Hopital. I am quiet, clean, friendly and hope to share with someone who is similar. I spend most of my time at work or at the gym and enjoying the simple things in life. Ideally looking for a place to live I can call home and feel safe and secure.
About me Hi, I'm Sean and Im moving to Canberra for work. I work full-time as a civil engineer in the road industry and sometimes work away. I’m a clean, friendly and quiet person and enjoy a good chat. I believe it's important to have a coffee/beer/dinner every now and then so we wouldn't be complete strangers to each other, but also value alone time Ideally I'm looking for a place in the south of Canberra or in Queanbeyan. I'm interested in a 6 month lease, but am happy to negotiate
I'm a registered nurse working for ACTHealth and am looking for a room in a share house near to the hospital. I love dogs, am super clean, friendly and love to bake 😄. You wont see me all that often as I'll either be at work, the gym or sleeping. I am moving from a 12 share dormitory so I know how to live with many people 😊
I'm a friendly, mature and responsible woman looking for one or more housemates. I don't actually have a place to rent out/share with others at this point - I'm just putting my feelers out to find potential housemates. I would like the company of a friendly and quiet housemate, as I'm looking to move around October-November this year. I would prefer to pay between $150-220 per week, and live in either Woden Valley, the inner south or inner north area. I would also be open to living somewhere in Queanbeyan region for a one bedroom rental in my price range. I am looking for a place that has air conditioning for the summer. I'm very accepting and non-judgemental, as well as being queer/trans/ace friendly. I'd like to live with other LGBT-friendly and open-minded people. I'm fairly quiet and often keep to myself, but enjoy chatting with housemates from time to time. I don't drink alcohol, smoke or party, so I would prefer to live with people who are similar in lifestyle to me. I want to live with people who have good communication skills, and can raise problems directly and honestly. I'm a bit of a night owl as well. P.S. I'm not a vegetarian, and I do eat meat fairly regularly - just thought I'd mention this in case it's a dealbreaker for some people!
Tasmanian full-time student (including throughout this summer) moving to Canberra for work following an internship. Writer, nearly completed a professional writing degree. Ex-chef, love the wilderness and mountains, music, travelling, animals (especially dogs!). Relaxed, honest, happy, left-wing ideology.
This is a unique property set within an expansive garden environment. The two storey European style home is very large and comes with fully equipped kitchen, separate dining room, lounge and TV entertainment room. Two large verandas and separate washing area. Plenty of storage. Off street secured parking is an option but the property is well located to buses, neighbourhood shops and the Southlands shopping centre. Local parks, cycle ways and the expansive Farrer Ridge are all very close by. The house has ducted gas heating, open fire place in winter and is cool is summer given it is double brick and shaded by large trees. NBN connected. Vegetable gardens and chickens are part of the package. The house is more of a home and neighbours and existing housemates are all very lovely and interesting people. Not a party house.
I have a lovely fully furnished home with everything available, including plenty of storage and all the conveniences a person may require. The house is extremely large and has lovely gardens in the front and rear of the property. Easy walk to Farrer local shops and Southlands. Bike path and bus service to Woden and city is 2 minutes away. Seeking someone that is wanting a peaceful place to live.

Hey, I’m Emily :) I am 25 years old and I work full time as a public servant. I currently rent a room with a friend who will be moving in with her partner, so I am looking for a new place. I am super chilled, tidy and looking for somewhere I can come home to relax. I enjoy my own bedroom space but am always up for a wine, meal or Netflix binge with housemates. On weekends I keep myself busy going out for brunch, gym, dinners ect… If you think I would be a good fit, I would love to hear from you!
I am pretty quiet, enjoy tea, chats and have great taste in TV & poetry. I'm currently working part-time in the community sector and loving it! Canberra has got me hooked on latin partner dancing, yeah I didn't see this hobby coming either :p At home, I like to cook with fresh veggies, do yoga and try my hand at gardening.
I'm a very polite, quiet person but always down to have a chat if you're up for it. I work in hospitality at a job that I love and study at UC part-time. I enjoy listening to music playing the odd video game and catching up with my friends for a coffee. I always clean up after myself and will always help out where needed. Very tidy and respectful of peoples personal space.
My name is George and I have just moved up to Canberra for work (full-time) and I am looking for a share place to live. A little bit about myself: I am generally pretty relaxed - while I do like my down time, I do enjoy a chat or occasional meal with my roommates. I like to keep fit. I run, swim, do yoga, so I tend to be out a fair bit doing something active. I don't tend to have people over - I usually prefer to go out when catching up with friends. I do like to keep a clean place, and will always be respectful of my roommates space and property. I am pretty flexible on location, move-in date and length of stay. Please feel free to ask any questions.
I am moving to Canberra Mid-October to start a new position in the public service. I am friendly, tidy and love a good chat over a glass of wine at the end of the day. I am currently studying externally, so will often be required to lock myself in my room and study, but as soon as those assignments are submitted, I'd be keen to get out and see Canberra! :)
Hi, I’m Phoebe. I’m a primary teacher who works hard during the week and I love to socialise on weekends. I’m moving from a regional area in Northern NSW and will be looking for a place from mid Dec or earlier for the right place. Being from the country, I love fresh air and green space and getting out and about. I would prefer to move into an already established house, but would also be happy to team up and get a place. I am a clean and tidy housemate, who lives an active and healthy lifestyle. I love playing hockey and going to the gym! I also don’t mind a cheeky mid-week wine and quality convos. I have a 2 year old miniature dachshund called Edwina. She’s a legend and if you’re a dog person you won’t be able to help but loving her too! We are super easy going and love going for big walks. I’ll be down that way a few times over the coming term so if I sound like I might be a fit for you, let me know and we can meet up over a coffee and a chat!
Clean and tidy. Quiet but up for a chat anytime. Relaxed, considerate and respectful of privacy and personal space. During my free time I enjoy watching tv or Netflix, read, go for a run or just working out at the gym =)
Pretty laidback, enjoys music, relatively a neat freak, loves food, both cooking and eating (the latter a bit too much sometimes (w_w). General game freak and gym junkie but always excited to have a few beers or more. Looking to start a new chapter in this crazy book called life and will be relocating for work with Department ofDefence.
Current lease ends at January 22nd 2019, looking for a place to move in immediately after that > full-time phd student > friendly and easy-going > respect others' privacy > have a car (so that my roommate and I can go out and have fun on holidays)
