Originally from the UK, been living in Australia/Canberra little over 4 years, I'm working 2 jobs in hospitality, I like to keep myself busy both working and hanging out with friends but also like some chill time playing board games or xbox. Love hiking, travelling and starting to cook more. I'm looking somewhere to live that feels like a home and where I can hang out in the kitchen or living room and talk, instead of staying in my room
I'm about to graduate and have a job lined up as a veterinarian. I'm super tidy, quiet but chatty, and definitely don't party! I have 2 indoor cats (one is 5, one is 9) who are completely neat - can provide great references for these two (and me, of course!) from previous rentals. I enjoy videogames, reading, gardening, cooking, hiking, and day trips to the beach, and am seeking someone similiar. I have all my own things to fit in a room, and will probably spend most of my time there - but also enjoy having a chat in the kitchen and doing game nights if you like them.
Hi I'm Max! I'm 21 years old, I have recently graduated with a Bachelor of Animation and I am about to go back to uni once again to do programming at CIT. I am a relaxed and polite guy that doesn't mind a good chat about a game, movie , sport or anything really! I have lived happily and peacefully with a large variety of different people in share houses, I pride myself in trying to be as clean and respectful as I can!
I'm moving to Canberra for a year for a new job and would love to find a furnished room to move into that is central and has friendly housemates. I'm happy to keep to myself but also love to have a chat over cups of tea and discover new food with friends. I'm clean, respectful and am helpful around the house. I like spending time outdoors and playing a good board-game and at this stage I'll be spending most of my weekends back in Sydney so should you be looking for some peace and quite on a weekend I am a perfect housemate.
Hi, I am a relaxed, quiet and friendly person to live with. I like to be able to have a nice chat with my housemates, do the odd thing together like grab a coffee/dinner or go on a hike, but also have the freedom to live our own lives. I am looking to either move into an existing home or find and set up a place with another person. I'm not too worried about location, as long as it's in the ACT. I'd like somewhere looking for a long term housemate, at least 12 months but if you want to say 6 months initially to see how we go then thats fine. I like a clean house, I'll normally wipe the kitchen bench down whilst the kettles boiling, do my washing up right after I've eaten, vacuum regularly etc. I'm not someone who will be jumping up and down if you're not the same though, if the sink isn't left piled up for days on end I'm happy :). I love mowing the lawn, I'm not much of a gardener but happy to give it a go or be assistant for someone with a green thumb. I work close to full time hours, starting at 7am and finishing normally around 2pm. After work you will either find me at my desk working on 'a project', on the exercise bike or off on a hike/walk at one of Canberra's mountains, or reading a book. I'm keen to try out new hobbies, so if you're looking for a housemate who can go on the odd adventure with you, or wants to try something creative, that's me! I'm not an entertainer, so I wouldn't have groups of friends coming around, and my partying days are behind me. Getting old. I don't smoke or do drugs, I don't drink either but I'll happily enjoy a coffee or coke whilst you enjoy a few beers. I'm in a nice place at the moment with a couple who are friends, however unfortunately it may not be able to continue longer term, so I'm seeing what is out there. I'm not in a rush to move elsewhere, but I can move quickly if I find the right place. Looking forward to meeting my potential future housemates, feel free to send through any questions you have, and I'm happy to meet up for a coffee.
Quiet and self-sufficient man. Work at a supermarket. For fun I like to meet up with friends, watch youtube, and row. Just looking for a room in a house.
Hi, I am Alex a 35 year old professional working in Cyber Security and currently live in Perth. I am planning to move to Canberra for a 12 month contract role and to conduct further studies. I enjoy travel, soccer, gym, squash and networking. I am very easy going and love to socialise or just hang out on my own and will be commuting back to Perth to see my wife and children every few weekends. I am very clean, tidy, organised and expect others to be the same. I am very respectful and can get along with almost anyone. Feel free to message me to discuss possible flatmate opportunities.
Currently looking for a short term stay while I look for a long term lease. I’m clean, hassle free and respect privacy. I’m happy to share a drink or the occasional meal with housemates after a long day of work.
Originally from Sydney, I'm looking for a nice place to call home in Canberra. About me - I like to spend week nights at home relaxing and unwinding from a busy day. I am tidy and would like to live in a nice, clean and presentable home and would seek that in flatmates also. In my spare time I try to be healthy and try to get to the gym, like entertaining/cooking for friends, bbqs and (of course) a glass of nice wine. If I sound like someone you might want to share with, please don't hesitate to get in contact.
Hi I’m looking to find a place once the lease is up at the place I’m staying at, I work part time at Bunnings but will be getting full time soon, I will study soon to (not studying at the moment). I’m an ex smoker but vape now, I’m close with friends and family, I have a girlfriend, I gym 4-5 days a week, love food and having an occasional drink and chatting or playing games.
I enjoy a chat and some banter but I also like to simply chill/relax on my own. Also, I like getting outdoors to do things like bushing walking and socialising out of the house. Wholistic health is an interest of mine too. Furthermore, I am not from Canberra but I have been here a few years. I work in a busy caring field/environment 4-5 days per week in a permanent part-time role.
