All bills and house expenses included! Light-filled house with huge yard and two cats to play with! Admin overview: 3-6 month lease with option to extend. All bills and house expenses (ie toilet paper, dishwashing and laundry detergent, hand soap) covered. Unlimited internet with netflix available. Fully furnished with linen if required. House overview: The bedroom is reasonably sized (will fit a queen/double bed and desk no worries) with a built in wardrobe. It already has a queen bed and desks in the room but can be removed if you have your own furniture. It also has picture rails so you can hang all the pictures your heart desires and turn your room into your very own gallery! The house has a generous lounge and a separate dining room, heaps of kitchen storage and porches at the front and back for chilling with a bevvy in the arvo sun. I'm struggling to grow some vegetables but am having great success with the grass... I cant figure out the mower so I have a girl who mows it for me but if you are a mower expert that would be great!! There is a second toilet in the laundry to avoid those ah awkward moments when someone is already in the shower. It doubles as the cats' bathroom so unless in case of emergency you dont need to share with them. Perfect for students or professionals as the house is less than a block from the buses that go into the city and straight to the uni. Shops and cafes in very easy walking distance, but the street itself is quiet and neighbourly. The only thing you should be warned about is my recycling system, I recycle soft plastics as well as the regular stuff so you'd need to be willing to participate in some environmentally friendly regimes. Oh and that its a pretty social house with people popping in and visitors semi regularly. I run a few social groups and own my own events business so I tend to get home late a few nights a week, Im quiet but people who need silence after dark won't like it here. We have another new housemate moving in, a 20 something vegan male, so you'll be sharing with two other humans and two cats. I'm a vegan so I'm hoping to find vegan/vegetarians to share with. I like a beer after work and party on weekends but im also working towards zero waste and work from home a lot and as a cleaner in the mornings. I start all leases on a 3 month basis as a trial run to see how well we like living together.
Full time worker looking for a place to call home! I work in admin at warnersbay. Very clean and very easy to get along with. full times hours and little weekend work so I'm not home a lot but just want to come home from a long day at work and kickback
My day starts with tea and will slowly turn into wine. I train and work full time. Looking for people who are like minded and wouldn't mind hanging out on the weekends or having friends over.
I'm 21, casual smoker, looking to live with an open minded person(s). Race/gender is not an issue but I do struggle with accents from time to time. I'm a hospitality student and looking for either an apprenticeship or full-time work. I'm a rather tidy person with many years of dish washing behind me, PC gamer, other than that I usually keep to myself, happy to share a few drinks and what not with any future housemates. Look forward to meeting one in the future.
Easy-going people are really the only thing I care about. Other than that, I'm easy. I've graduated UNI, and am now looking to work full time in Newcastle. I'm a laid back guy, who's always down for a good time. Social, considerate, not really good at talking myself up. Non-smoker, I enjoy a good drink or twelve (when it's necessary, of course), and I have an affinity for dogs.
Hi there, moving to Newcastle from Melbourne to study criminology at UON. Worked in human services, community mental health care, government (boring!) and all manner of things in a fluctuating career trajectory. I have lived in Japan, Vietnam and have friends all over Aust and the world as a result. Widely travelled throughout Asia and enjoy the usual things, mainly social beers, bands, hanging out etc. Really looking forward to discovering a new city, new people, new job, perhaps new world-view? Open to all and sundry experiences, I've lived in shared housing my whole life, pretty much. I'd like to think I understand the dynamics!
I care about my flatmate's feelings so I always try to minimise noises and keep the place hygienic, I also put great amount of effort into getting along with my flatmates.
Hi! My name is Hannah and I am currently studying music, going into my third year now! I am a social and friendly person who doesn't mind a few social drinks, but also really enjoy my quiet time. I like watching tv shows, hanging with friends and going for walks with my dog. I am looking for a teamup to start a new share house as my current one is coming to an end. I've been looking and applying for houses in the last month or so. The only other thing is that I have a little rescue doggie, her name is Lyla! She's the cutest little thing, so you must love dogs! If you think we would be a good match please send me a message and we can look at houses together!
Hello! We are very tidy and clean housemates who respect personal space, but are also very friendly and enjoy having a chat or just chilling out together. Ashleigh is a uni student and is in her third year of a Bachelor of Arts, and Blake is very handy with jobs around the house and technology, and is currently looking for work. We like to keep to ourselves most of the time, but if you're a fan of boardgames, movie nights or late night trips to Yogurtland, then we will get along great too :D We keep shared living areas very clean and tidy, are considerate with our noise levels and would keep our housemates up to date if we would like to have friends or family over. We love animals, and wouldn't mind feeding or walking them for you. We enjoy sharing weekend beverages, trips to the beach and finding places to eat delicious food! We are also both very tall, so we can help clean high spots or get things down for you :P Please feel free to contact us if you'd like to know more or to meet up. We look forward to hearing from you! :)
Hello! My names Eamon (19), I'm from the Central Coast and am moving to Newcastle to be closer to UON. I can have fun and love to socialise and make new friends but I'm also respectful of other people (I won't throw parties without asking other housemates). I'm neat and tidy and respectful of other people's belongings. I would like a place where all the roommates are friends and get along well as its where we will spend most of our time. I'm also looking at whole houses to rent so if anyone wants to teamup I have a few places I'm looking at near the uni saved.
We are a couple looking for a share house in Newwy. I work full time in realestate and have a second job as a waitress on week nights and James is a musician and works at a cafe when he's not Gigging. We're very laid back and love hanging out with mates, although are both considerate and mature enough to live peacefully with others. We have an 8 month old black Labrador who is the most dosile dog you'll ever meet- so we're looking for somewhere pet friendly.
I am a 27yr old professional working in his own video production business. I also work a side job that helps bring in constant cash flow. I am a self-sufficient guy who works a lot and during downtime likes to chill and switch off by spending time either watching a film, tv series or reading a book. Would love to find somewhere to live by mid Jan
i work as a barista so already I have your attention. I'm up at 4:30am most morning so I will need to be with people who don't mind me getting up that early. I tend to kept to myself but don't mind a "family" BBQ and a couple of drinks. Just looking for somewhere that makes it feel like home and not like I'm bothering and inconvenience to anyone. I'm clean and I'm a massive push over so I'll be deso for you. Just like to see people happy.
Just a student trying to make impossible marks whilst supporting himself. Im friendly, respectful, honest and never fail to pay rent on time. I currently live at home and pay my half of rent, food, water, electricity, as well as pay for internet, etc. No stranger to hard work, can't stand negative people. I am currently living in QLD and looking for a place to live around Newcastle, as i am going to study at the university there, come 2018. If you have any questions i will be more than happy to answer them. :)
I am a 22 year old student, studying accounting at The University of Newcastle. I am a very friendly and nice person who is very open minded and always up to to try new stuff. Similarly, I am pretty tidy and in many cases organised although I like going with the flow as well. I like cooking and spending time with good people as well as just relaxing in a park, enjoying the Australian summer while reading a book and listening to music. I am looking for fun people to share a house with. Moreover, I am easy going, laid back and love to be part of the house rather than just live! Looking to move in this week, if interested, please send me a message :)
I'm an easy going housemate who has been living in share houses for 15 years, Including one with 10 people, 3 animals, and at times, 3 children. I think if you can keep the peace there, you pretty much can anywhere :) I always treat my flatmates like family. Ie, equal parts helping each other out, but with total respect and not taking the piss. If its raining and i'm home, i'll bring in your washing. If I've got milk, and you need milk, you can have some. But at the same time, If you never clean, and eat all my food every day, that would suck. So I'll probably talk to you about it. I'm active and health conscious, so would like to live with other active people. But i wont judge you if you drink coke and eat maccas ether. I'm moving to Newcastle to study Occupational Therapy. Although i don't have a job yet (as i'm just finishing up my business in Sydney), Ive got plenty of money saved and have never been unemployed in my life, so I know i'll pick up work quickly. I will have no issue with paying rent. (I also am self employed as a energetic healer on the side) I love to meditate, swim, go to the live gigs, grow vegetables, cook, draw. I want to live with easy going people that would like to share a chat and a meal from time to time, but respect my need to study too.
Hi! I'm an exchange student from Sweden arriving in Newcastle on 11/03/17 for one semester of full time studing. Easy going, social and responsible. Looking for anything furnished with friendly inhabitants! :-)
Hello! I am a 18 y/o student starting my first year at the University of Newcastle. I am looking to move as it will be easier than commuting from my family home. I am willing to socialise and hang (most definitely if you like good coffee) but i do like time to myself and respect others time to themselves. I work, will ensure that I pay bills on time, and be an productive member of the household. My friend and i are looking for someone outgoing and respectful to create a sharehouse together. Feel free to contact for anymore info! :-)
Hi, The name is Limo. Been in newy for awhile now. Working full time as an Auto Technician in town. Loves the outdoor, active. A terrible chef but a good critic. Barely home, plenty of laugh. No, I dont smoke and I'm not an alcoholic but I love my whiskey. I appreciate the idea of freedom and respect. Figure out the rest later. Red tank in the photo. Peace!
I'm from New Zealand and I moved here for an engineering apprenticeship. I like reading, watching shows, playing games. I come with some outdoor furniture. I'm always ready to lend a helping hand or give someone a lift. I'm looking for housemates that are friendly and like to have a few drinks together and hang out sometimes. I work shift work, and I'm a very heavy sleeper so I'm not worried about noise.
