I am a young working professional (teacher of Physics and Mathematics), and currently holding down a few roles while finishing my post-graduate study. I also work in health and fitness, as a gym instructor (yoga, aerobics etc) as I love to keep active, I am looking for a house that is kept clean, as I get a little house-proud; and would prefer to live with others that feel the same way, and can enjoy an occasional catch up over wine or coffee from time to time. I am out of the house early and home late most days, and although I sometimes enjoy cooking for friends, would usually socialise outside the house. If this sounds good to you, shoot me a message!
This location has access to lots of transport. McMahons Point has a great local community. The room has plenty of fresh air and light. High ceilings on private upper floor. Plenty of opportunity for privacy in this house. Share an equipped kitchen. No specific house rules - just be respectful and security conscious.
Easy going, bubbly and always up for an adventure:) I work full time as a nurse and study part-time so I'm always busy, but love being social and having a laugh or sneaky wine. I am clean (at times OCD), organised and considerate. I enjoy, food, fitness, travel, reading, trashy tv and tbh sometimes just being a sloth in bed (we all have those days).
BRILLIANT LOCATION!! Ideal location, quiet street with an awesome view of water. Open plan home with awesome flatmate :) Lots of trails to go for walks, close to north Sydney, max ten minute walk to north Sydney or waverton station. Open and airy apartment! Nice medium sized room with loads of closet space..huge built ins, you also get the morning sun. You share bathroom with me but have huge living room with open plan kitchen, dishwasher and great balcony over looking harbour.
Room available in my upper floor 2 bedroom flat in the Blues Point Tower - McMahons Point. (End of the peninsula, right in the harbour, and facing the Harbour Bridge) Your room is furnished with an oversized wardrobe, bed, desk, and floor to ceiling mirrors. Also, wall to wall windows facing the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. (View pictures are taken from the bedroom window) The rest of the flat is fully furnished, fast nbn, giant flatscreen, kitchen stocked ready to cook etc. Flexible on move-in date, towards the end of September ideal. You'd be living with myself - a respectful working professional 30yo Canadian guy. Home is a getaway for me - not a party place. I eat well, enjoy the gym but also a social drink, and in general enjoy the relaxed harbour lifestyle. I run my own real estate business, and work partially from home, so would ideally be looking for a housemate who has a career/lifestyle that doesn't involve them also working from home. Looking for someone who shares the same traits: Respectful, relaxed, professional, non-smoker, tidy/conscientious of others etc. I'm flexible on length of stay, and am open to any race/gender, but sorry, not suitable for couples. Rent listed above is reflective of a longer term arrangement - if you're looking for more convenienct/shorter term we can discuss a different rate. Send me a message if you're interested, cheers!
26 year old male originally from Pakistan. Lived in London and then Dubai for the last 9 years - here in Sydney for my next adventure. Qualified accountant working at a Big 4 firm in the city. Will have a busy schedule with work, but still love to socialise and have a drink or 5 every now and again. Home is meant to be a peaceful place to relax and unwind. I'm pretty tidy and respectful of personal space. Big time sports fan. Willing to contribute a TV and a PS4 to the house/flat. I prefer to have my own bathroom.
Sane sorted professional guy. Separated. House trained, social and love to chat over a wine and a shared meal. I've been living in Mosman for the last 20 years and with lots of friends and my family still there, I'm keen to stay in the lower north shore. Have my own business so I tend to work from home half the time. I am laid back and keep active.
Hey, I'm Adam. What an arduous (check the vocab) process finding your new home and "to-be" flatmates is. So many variables to consider... location, price, compatibility, social influence. I guess that's not that many, really, but you know, you wanna get it right. I currently work as a 4th Year Electrical Apprentice. I become qualified this October and plan to move close to the city. I'm contemplating learning sales before I jump back into the electrical industry, if it all. Apprenticeships can be painful. I have a few months annual leave saved up giving me some time to check out the options once I've move in. Anyways. I despise the whole notion of job-as-identity. Let's get to the good stuff. I'm all about adventure. Some of my outdoor hobbies of have been surfing, skating, hiking and salsa. This year I want to start parkour, yes par-kour! I also love music and a good party. For me, partying should only be occasional. One of my biggest red flags for housemates is getting sucked into a wormhole of mindless weekly binge drinking. Don't get me wrong I'm down for a casual beer but I'm happy and prefer to go to gigs sober. On the flip side of all this I enjoy taking time out to focus, read, plan and ponder. I'm a big fan of health, fitness and self-development. My preference for housemates would be people who think the same about such things. I'm pretty easy going so it's not essential. Get in touch -Adam TLDR; I'm adventurous and introverted. I want to learn sales.
Just moved to Sydney from Auckland. Am a reasonably good cook...I love Indian cuisine..... and love baking, good with computers, friendly as everyone of my age normally is.
My max. budget pw is 200$! Need accomodation ASAP until 22nd November 2017 German girl -> - very (!) clean, tidy, organised, reliable and not noisy - prefer cooking than eating outside - love doing sport (almost everything), like animals a lot - like to hangout with flatmates but always respect privacy - during the week full time work in North Sydney, during the weekend part time work in Marrickville Please message me, as I can't contact every member here with my basic account.
Easy going affable English guy, active and healthy, enjoy tidy simple living, house proud, well balanced and considerate. Hi i’m Tim from the UK, i've been in Sydney nearly 8 years. I’m into my health and fitness stuff; bootcamp, swimming, mountain biking, walks, snowboarding in winter, SUPing in summer as well as hibernating in front of Netflix for a dose of sit-com, docco and indie film. Passionate about all kinds of music be-it discovering new stuff, gigs, playing myself or going for a boogie, and football (aka soccer). Also interested in cooking, science/tech stuff, life drawing and nutrition. I’m looking for someone similar to me; clean, tidy-as-you-go, drama-free, considerate and house proud. Not into weekly parties anymore but would be good to socialise with you occasionally sharing a drink/meal whilst chatting about the days comical nuances …or the wonders of the universe, equally cool to disappear into your room all week. I’m very respectful of housemates privacy and space. I’ll be out a couple of evenings doing stuff in the city (fitness/friends/show/talk) or at my girlfriends place. I work in the city 8:30am - 5pm in digital marketing for an education provider which i enjoy as i’m a bit of a tech-nerd:) I’m looking for someone like-minded to share a minimal modern apartment. I’ve got furniture, tv, plants, a cool looking fish bowl, white goods and kitchenware although happy to sell/throw some of those if you have better or keen to buy new. I’ll be getting NBN fast internet ASAP, deffo need my own bathroom and car space and keen to live near the water. If i sound like the sort of person you could live with, hit me up yeah.
– Creative, organised and love to cook. – Secondary School Teacher. – Enjoy barre and rock climbing in the evenings. – Saturday mornings are best spent getting coffee and at local markets.
Hi my names Sam, I'm 28 I've been living in Sydney for nearly a year, originally from New Zealand. Currently living in Edgecliff but looking for a new place, ideally a relaxed environment that would feel like a home. I have a small group of friends in Sydney mostly ones I know from living in Auckland, so I'm always keen to meet new people. I'm pretty busy during the week working as a fire engineer, my typical day has me out of the house around 7.30 and I'm not normally home till around 9. I'm generally pretty easy to get a long with and easy going. I like to socialise in the weekends while being respectful of the people I am living with, but will occasionally live in my track pants the entire weekend. I'm pretty tidy around the house and like to cook, so don't mind dinners in the weekend with a good glass of wine or beers with the boys. If that sounds like someone you wouldn't mind living with please let me know
I'm pretty easy going but a teensy bit of a neat-freak. Work keeps me quite busy so I'm not always around but I enjoy a good laugh in my downtime.
I am Christian friendly young lady, mature and wise, but easy going, and love to learn from others, and share some food ideas. Love peace and quiet, highly respectful and consider people privacy, and love my own space as well. Looking for quiet and relaxing accommodation.
I am looking for a furnished room not far from City. I am an accountant, working all day and study CPA in the evening so I prefer to stay in a place that is quiet at the evening and at night. I use my room mostly for studying and sleeping and meet with my friends or do other activities outside my home but I am very happy to meet with new people and have new friends. I don't have any furniture so I am looking for a furnished room . In my free time I like hiking.
I am a peaceful person, who loves children and pets. I am very a very clean person who will always maintain in perfect conditions her room and the shared areas when I use them.

Polite, quiet but not anti social. Work full time in finance, also study full time. Not a party animal, do need to be able to work/study at home. Also have a car so would prefer if persons who have "no parking" or know that parking isn't available wouldn't contact me. Move date is a random date - I am just looking for a place, I don't "have" to move unless I find something that suits me.
Originally a country boy now living in Sydney, currently living in double bay and working in darling harbour. I work full time at a hotel in darling harbour - generally shift work of afternoons and nights, and also teach ballroom dancing. I compete nationally in ballroom dancing and train most days with that. I absolutely love my coffee and like most i love a good cheese platter with drinks of course haha. i still want to be relatively close to the city and to the water. love a place with a great atmosphere for cafes, and great little drinking spots, kind of like that sunday session vibe! I love to kick back and relax and unwind at home, i dont mind my netflix, although im so far behind on everything that is current its not funny. I enjoy cooking and am a neat and tidy person.

Hello! I'm a 25 year old guy who enjoys traveling and casual weekend beers. I'm currently working full time as a developer and part time as a student so I am fairly quiet and busy during the weeks, trying to make time for trips away and catching up with friends on the weekends. I enjoy relaxing and watching TV, going out for drinks and being outdoors. I currently live in Sydney but an hour commute is becoming tiring so I am trying to move closer to the city! I value my personal space but am happy to share a drink and a meal and just hang out.
Hi my name is Jennifer, 37, Brazilian, looking for a single room at Inner Sydney. I am here to study Leadership and Management course and also to practice my english. I am very tidy and helpfull person and love making new friends and cakes!
Hi I'm a professional with my own business, moving to Sydney from Perth shortly and would love to find a great place with great people. I'm currently completing an MBA on top of work so study a reasonable amount at the moment, but not too much to stop me going out and having a bit of fun every now and then. I love socialising and am right into staying fit and healthy. Love good food and the odd glass of wine on the couch at the end of the day. I'm very easy going and neat and tidy. I travel a quite a bit with work and of course the odd holiday here and there. Looking to move as soon as possible.
I'm a New Zealander in Sydney. I work in an IT company in the CBD. I don't know sydney that well and at this stage I'm open to any location that would allow a 45 minute (from door to door) commute to Kent street (my office is near the corner of Kent st and Erskine Street). Currently looking at somewhere off the train line on the north shore on a quiet street. So I can walk+bus to a train station and then catch a train to Wynyard. Personality wise, I am mature, sociable and very considerate (this is most important ) enjoy having a healthy balanced lifestyle. My hobbies include: cooking, exercise, Japanese language and spending time in nature (sun/parks/beaches ) , gardening. Weekends I like to sit in the sun/go to a beach/meet friends/go to gym. I am not a party/noisy person and i don't want to live with people who are. My NUMBER ONE priority is a place to sleep that is QUIET. Not located near a noisy street/shop/neighbour and also internal quiet - living with people who also value quiet in the evening from 9:30pm onwards. I am quite sociable and would like to live with people who i can chat with but need quiet for rest/sleep. My office has showers so Monday to Friday I sometimes shower there before and after work which means no rush in the morning if we are sharing a bathroom. I also have meals with my job so don't really use the kitchen in the evening, however i sometimes do a cooked breakfast. Other notes. Do not intend on buying a car so parking space or garages are not necessary. No drugs/smoking. Would like a location that has a quiet room, laundry (washing machine + dryer/outside place to hang clothes) and good outdoor space, with professional people. Perfectly fine with pets. especially cats. I am happy to give out information such as facebook profile or LinkenIn Profile via message so you can find out more about me. I can also provide a range of references in New Zealand.
I am very easy going and always a positive person, i keep to myself and respect the privacy but i also like to have a glass of wine now and then and watch a good movie. I am def not a party animal so u don't need to worry about late visitors but i like spending time outdoor so there is a chance that you will have a place only for yourself quite often 😊 i also love food so i cook a lot and i don't mind to share it 😊

Hi! Im a 21 year old full time student and a full time retail manager in the city. Im from the Philippines and have lived here in Australia since I was 4. I am very social and love to go out with friends for leisure whether it be for food, going to the beach, hikes and what not. Hi there! My partner, pup and I are looking for accomodation 🐶 We aren't to fussed about location, just looking for the perfect place! Ideally a granny flat or studio would work perfectly for us but happy to share a place with another couple or friends 😇 A bit about us: Me (caylah): I study online part time and work a few nights a week in a bar! Depending on when we move I'll probably go back to working full time! I'm a quiet, private person but enjoy having the occasional drink whilst watching some Netflix ☺️ My partner(bailey): He works full time for a call centre in Ryde, so ideally we would live close to the train line and within an hour of Ryde! Princess (pup) 🐶: She's a 1yr old chihuahua, cutest lil girl in the world! Very lovable but also gets very excited when there's lots of people around! Shes rarely left alone so you don't have to worry about consistent barking or bad behaviour!! So long story short we are both pretty quiet, clean and boring people, mainly study and work (not the type to have people over often) very respectful of other peoples space and privacy as well! Let us know if you have something that would suit 😅
I'm pretty easy to live with. I am a nerd and love movies, tv shows, games and comics. I'm single, not particularly fussed about relationships. I'm religious but my thing is that it's to each their own so don't worry if you're not or a different faith, I don't care. I work full time on the edge of Crows Nest and North Sydney. I love a good laugh and a good book. My current ambition is to learn Auslan. I'm looking for a home. Somewhere that I feel comfortable in the common areas, not just hidden away in my room. Want to know anything else, just ask!
