Hi, I am Claudia and looking for a place long term. I work as a designer and love doing yoga in the morning.
The House has lovely elevated water views directly westward over Balls Head reserve (the pictures on the listing are from the front balcony). There is a rail line in front but this is not used, ie. it is not an operating line (it is some kind of backup in case trains get stuck in the city). The House looks directly out to the Water. The House is situated within the lovely connected parkways fringing the Inner North Shore, and the Balls Head Nature reserve. Its a really nice place to go for a run, get some sun, or have a picnic. North Sydney Pool is very close, and there are plenty of sailing clubs to crew at nearby. Its very close to North Sydney but is very quiet and peaceful. The views from the main living area look directly over the bay. The available Bedroom has timber floorboards, is very large (probably suit a couple), and a very large window with direct water views and easy access to the newly renovated bathroom. The House itself is a character house, lovely polished timber floors throughout and terrazo, modern furnishing, and is very clean. There is a smaller third bedroom I would like to use as a guest bed & study area. Only a short walk to North Sydney station, bars and cafes along blues point road. Very close to City and Bondi, easy access to northern beaches. Resident car park on street in front of house. New listing, broken window in pictures is now fixed.
Hey guys! Victoria and I have been searching near and far for a two bedroom apartment in Sydney that doesn't break the bank, which turns out is way harder to find. We're keen to team up with 1 or 2 people to look for a place together, or move into a 4 bedroom place with 2 rooms vacant. Not to brag... but we're super fun, great chat and are easy to get along with. We love to be social but equally love our own space. We love to travel, red wine is our staple and love nothing more than having a laugh. Victoria is 26 years old, single and works in Sales, and I (Laura) am 25, single and work in Marketing (feel like this is a tinder profile). If you're interested in either looking for a place with us, or have two rooms available please reach out!
I'm pretty easy going but a teensy bit of a neat-freak. Work keeps me quite busy so I'm not always around but I enjoy a good laugh in my downtime.
Room available in my 2br 13th floor flat in the Blues Point Tower - McMahons Point. Your room is furnished with an oversized wardrobe, bed, desk, and floor to ceiling mirrors. Also, wall to wall windows facing the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. (View pictures are taken from the bedroom window) The rest of the flat is fully furnished, fast nbn, giant flatscreen, etc. Earliest move-in would be Saturday, July 1st. You'd be living with me: late 20's professional Canadian guy. Home is a getaway - not a party place. I eat well, enjoy the gym but also a social drink, and in general enjoy the relaxed pace here in McMahons Point. I run my own real estate business, and work partially from home, so would ideally be looking for a housemate who has a job/lifestyle that doesn't involve working from home. Looking for someone who shares the same traits: Professional, non-smoker, tidy/conscientious of others, and a glass-half-full mentality. I'm flexible on length of stay, open to any race/gender, but sorry, not suitable for couples. Rent is $370/week and paid fornightly. Send me a message if you're interested, cheers!
Hello there :) I am an easy going, friendly and open minded 33 years old guy originally from Switzerland living now in beautiful Sydney on a permanent residency visa. I am looking for a place to stay as of the 21 of July. I am flexible with the date and not in a rush, my priority is to find a place I can call home ideally for the next 6 months and longer. I work in North Sydney as a software engineer and some of my hobbies are travelling the world, exploring, photography, going out, gardening, reading and sports. Feel free to ask if you want to know more about me :-) Cheers Olivier
A Kiwi moving over for a 6months contract as a geologist. Unsure on the work roster. Enjoy being active and outdoors including surfing, climbing, tramping, skiing and mountain biking. Am relaxed, clean and tidy and easy going. Looking to live with like minded people.
Hi I am moving to McMahon's Point and I am looking for one lovely flatmate to call it home. You will be seeing unstoppable view of harbour bridge everyday! A little about myself, I am super friendly, full-time hard working in business consultancy. Mostly I am just work work work but in my spare time I enjoy outdoor activities and gym. It would be so lovely to meet you and we can enjoy a cup of tea overlooking the harbour view. It would be awesome!! It's an amazing apartment, and it's super easy and convenience with the frequent ferries to Circular Quay and Darling Harbour just footsteps away. Neighbouring North Sydney and crows nest offering fantastic cafes and restaurants. All that offers $400 . It's unfurnished right now but I am happy to have it furnished for you. It's 2 weeks bonds and 2 weeks in advance. You may come view it from Wednesday 14/6/17. Look forward to speaking with you soon!
Hi there I'm a young at heart Architect who is clean, well mannered and respectful. I own a place in Brisbane so am seeking some digs here in Sydney. Looking to share with some cool, happy, friendly people. I clean regularly, am a pretty good cook & enjoy cooking for my Friends, play guitar, am learning piano, enjoy listening to music, do not watch free to air tv, do a fair bit of yoga & running, sail in summer months, travel most weekends, and work reasonable 9 - 6 sort of hours. Open minded as to who I live with, happy to socialise and also I'm happy to respect other's privacy.
Almost graduated with Masters degree in International business, been living in Sydney the past 2,5 years and now looking full time employment in Marketing/International business. Just celebrated my 30th birthday last month and used to live in shared apartments. Originally from Finland, where I am renting my own apartment so have continual income even as still looking for job. Clean and tidy, can be both social, but also respect everyones own space. Looking for a homelike shared apartment with wickedly good, fun housemates with privacy of my own room. I'm social and outgoing, but also respect everyone's own space. Sometimes grumpy before morning coffee, but showing that just with being not that chatty so nothing to worry about. ;) Love exploring new places in Sydney and surroundings and now looking the perfect location between work and beach side of Sydney with all the coastal tracks to be explored. Up for odd drinks either at home or in the city. Clean and tidy, but not too uptight about it so would appreciate this for the household as well. Shoot me a message if you think you know a good match for me. Not looking a total party house, but don't mind occasional fun weekends with the gang.
I am a happy, friendly, kind and considerate entrepreneur who loves dancing, playing tennis, meditating, music, healthy eating, doing random acts of kindness, finding reasons to laugh hysterically and better yet inspire laughter in others! I love being present to the incredible beauty and possibility in every new moment! and being around others that share that love. I am currently writing a book and beginning some new ventures that will require me to spend a large amount of time at my computer so I am hoping to find somewhere I can set up a desk which enjoys a beautiful inspiring view. My favourite views being boats bobbling on the harbour, surrounded by nature and rooftops. If you have the perfect space for me please get in contact. Can not wait to connect :)
I work full time I'm extremely easy going and considerate, I'm happy for my room mate to live their life autonomsly I have no expectations of high maintenance friendships however I am friendly and outgoing. I like to relax after work and spend allot of my time doing a rotating roster so I may not be around much, I like to keep common areas tidy and a pet hate would be messy dishes so I always wash mine :) I'm open and upfront and would like to live with someone similar. Only preference is my own bathroom
I’m from Switzerland, doing an exchange semester in Sydney for my post graduate degree. I’m looking for a room to rent from roughly 20th of July until the end of November. I'm easy to get along with and am a very clean person. I love doing sports, travelling, enjoy cooking and am looking forward to this experience in a new culture.
Seeking a room for a couple Twin shared or private couple room either is fine. New zealander and Japanese couple moving to Sydney. I have been offered a job in IT/japanese speaking role in the CBD and my girlfriend is lined up to finish a hospitality diploma while working part time. I don't know sydney that well and at this stage I'm open to any location that would allow a 30 minute (from door to door) commute to Kent street (my office is near the corner of Kent st and Erskine Street). Personality wise, we are both mature, sociable and enjoy having a healthy balanced lifestyle. Our hobbies include: cooking, exercise and spending time in nature (sun/parks/beaches ) , gardening and the occasional dvd. I have a job offer to work in Sydney but the 1st 2 weeks are in San Francisco at the headquarters of the company. After the 2 weeks I fly straight to Sydney and start working around July 17. Because I have to start working immediately I would prefer to have accommodations sorted before going. Therefor I won't be able to do an inspection before moving in I will go by photos/videos and contact with the owner (ideally phone call). If accommodation fits my requirements and I can exchange some messages with the owner I would be open to paying $50 or so per week from now until I arrive in order to make a hold on the room. We are not party people other notes. Do not intend on buying a car. I have written "1 year" but we would definitely consider a location that was 5 months or longer especially if it was furnished. No drugs/smoking. Would like a location that has a gas stove top for cooking and a laundry (washing machine + dryer/outside place to hang clothes) Both perfectly fine with pets. especially cats. I am happy to give out information such as facebook profile or LinkenIn Profile via message so you can find out more about me or Mikiko.
Working in construction management. Looking to move closer to my workplace in North Sydney, and to find good mates in the process! I spend most of my weekdays at work, while trying to sneak in the ocassional social event on weeknights. Ideally would like a nice home to get to, good mates to talk to over dinner and to watch TV with. I try to keep fit by going to the gym (Anytime Fitness), and eating healthy. I love the outdoors, and enjoys the ocassional dip on the beach. I am clean, organised, tidy and I like to keep my home that way. Pretty flexible with move in dates.
I'm a plumber so I try and be pretty active, very tidy and clean I enjoy cooking. I'm all round friendly guy and very relaxed and social but I do like my own space some times so don't feel offended if I'm in my room just hanging out.
Hi, I've been back in Australia for 3 years having spent the last 12 living and working in London. I work in the film Industry. I work full-time, and while there is an office in Surry Hills that I can use, I prefer working from home most days. I'm looking for a professional, easygoing housemate 35+. Ideally just one housemate, but would consider living with two. Ideally I'd like a larger bedroom (smaller is OK if there is a study). I'm looking for a house that feels like home, I don't mind getting a cleaner, I like to cook, and am pretty relaxed about things generally. Pet's are no problem. I would also consider finding a house with someone and us both moving in together. I'll respond to emails promptly, hope to hear from you.
Looking for a flatmate to help look after my mum and aunt two hours a day in exchange for almost free rent (You just contribute $25 for bills) The room is the size of a studio and comes furnished with a king bed, large wardrobe, dressing table and couch. You will need to be available for two hours each day, 7 days a week, usually from Midday till 2pm, to assist with preparing lunch, ensuring the ladies complete exercises, do some cleaning and assist with outings. You will need a drivers licence to transport the ladies on small activities on certain days, like the School for Seniors at The Wesley Centre on Tuesday from 3-4:30pm, but you are welcome to use our car for such purposes. You will also need to assist with measuring my mum's blood sugar levels and administering insulin (It's fairly straight forward, but is not suitable for people with an aversion to needles). You will also need to pay a security deposit of $1,200, but this will be refunded if you decide to move out. The period would be for a minimum of three months, but would be ongoing if you are a suitable candidate. If this sounds like a great opportunity for you, please shoot me an email to arrange an inspection/interview.

***ABOUT ME:*** •Hello! My small dog and I are looking for a home. We are looking for housemates who LOVE DOGS! •I'm a 28 years young Sydney-born Full Time 9am-6pm working professional in the photography industry in the CBD. I'm honest, responsible and reliable; I pay all my current existing bills on time and can most definitely pay my future rent/bills on time! •I keep my personal and communal areas clean and tidy e.g. I like to wash my dishes straight away so that I never leave dishes sitting in the sink smelly for days or for others to wash up after me. •I'm friendly, like to hangout/chillout and like to get to know people. At the same time, I'm quiet, shy and like to relax on my own. I'm looking for a place to live where it's quiet, drama-free and not a party house as I love a good night's sleep. •I am respectful of other people and their personal space and property. •During the working week: I like to take my dog for walks, go to the gym and go to bed as early as I can. •On the weekends: I like to treat my dog to the dog beach/park, skateboard and cook my meals for the coming week. •My interests/hobbies: mini outdoor adventures/seaside hikes with my dog, skateboarding, gym, arts and crafts (e.g. film photography, loom knitting, building gundams), going to live music concerts, watching movies/tv shows, boardgames...and so many more! •I'm a non-smoker and am looking to live with other non-smokers only. I don't do drugs and I am not a heavy alcohol drinker. •I am looking to live at a place for longer term (minimum 12 months). •I am looking to live within walking distance to a train station or light rail as I don't drive. •I would organise my own food as I cook fresh meat and vegetables for my dog as well. I would most likely cook my week's worth of food on the weekend then freeze it so I don't have to cook during the working week. ***ABOUT MY DOG:*** •My dog is a 6 years young male Chihuahua. •He is doggy door toilet trained, desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. •He is a clean indoor dog and sleeps on my bed. It would be ideal for him to have access to indoors and outdoors when I'm not home so he can go to the toilet outside and sleep inside. I have a removable doggy door panel which is simply a vertical panel of glass with a doggy door at the bottom which slots in next to a sliding door. •He loves people but needs time to warm up to them, so he is shy and nervous initially. •He is friendly and playful with other small dogs. He hasn't lived with another dog before, but I think a dog friend would be good company for him as he doesn't like to be home alone, so we are looking to live with another small dog. •He does bark when someone leaves or enters the home, but only for about 30 seconds. He also barks if he sees another dog walking outside from the home window. So we are looking to live with people who are understanding and tolerant of these now-and-again barks. I plan to have him professionally trained to manage this here-and-there barking. •He becomes scared easily if treated badly by someone and may nip to defend himself. So please, we are looking to live with DOG LOVERS ONLY who will show him lots of love, and won't grab him or yell at him aggressively. •I'm looking for housemates who wouldn't mind feeding my dog once in a while when I stay out past dinner time if I'm out at a music concert or doing something at night. Of course I'd be more than happy to doggysit my flatmates's pets if they'd wish :) •His interests/hobbies: loves going for walks especially by the ocean, playing catch with tennis balls and following me everywhere around the home. •Sorry, he is not cat friendly. ***ABOUT MY FISH:*** •The only piece of 'furniture' I would be bringing to the communal part of the house is my 17 years young fish and his 90 litre fish tank. •It would be ideal to have the tank in a communal area as he likes to watch people walk past and he swims after them. It would be fantastic to place the fish tank close to a sink for easier changing of water.
Hi, My name's Cassy, 23 years old & I'd classify myself as an extroverted introvert. I'm friendly and easy going. I work Full Time in North Sydney, as an Administration Assistant. Ideally I'm hoping to find a suitable place to move into by July 2017, there's not a huge rush at the moment. This will be my first time living out of home and really want to find the right place to call home. Interested in areas with easy access to public transport.
