My name's Dominic, a 29-y.o., young professional who has a three-week posting in North Sydney, beginning from Wednesday 19 September. I'm quiet, clean, easygoing, and absolutely no hassle. My job has offered to rent me an apartment for my time in Sydney but I would prefer to live with locals, as it would be great to get to know the city more intimately while I'm there. While I'm likely to be very busy during the week, my weekends would be relatively free and I'd love to share a meal or a glass of wine with whoever I live with. Outside of work I'm a writer, and will try to get to readings and literary events whenever I can. If you think I sound like a fun person to live with for a few weeks, I'd love to hear from you!
I'm a mature male from New Zealand working 6 days a week in the demolition business. Very clean and tidy and know how to respect other peoples privacy without being a hermit. I have travelled a lot so I have been in many situations where different cultures coincide and have learned that no matter how different two people are you can be best friends if you show some basic manners and kindness. Basically, I get along with anyone and don't get too serious about anything because life's too short and too good to worry about the small things.
Hi there, My name is Trang and I’m a 23 year old med student. I just finished a placement at a hospital and wanted to spent the rest of my time (01.10.-08.10.) exploring Sydney. So maybe a short introduction about myself: I’m German and I currently live in Berlin. As you can guess, my name is not very German - I have Vietnamese roots. I like cooking and baking. I would describe me as tidy and clean (normal) but I’m not obsessed with cleanliness. And I would say, that I’m a nice person. When I’m not busy with studying I’m meeting friends for a drink/game night/watching movies or I just go for a short run. Cheers Trang
Hi my name is Matt. I am from Melbourne but am relocating up to Sydney for work for 3 months, and looking for a short term rental for up to 12 weeks from 1st October til 22nd December (flexible dates if full 3 month rental not available. Happy to relocate. After a month or 2) I have previously lived in Sydney. I'm a working professional in TV production. Office based in McMahons Point, I will be working 5-6 days a week and be travelling back and forth to Melbourne on certain weekends. I am married so need to factor my wife coming to visit a couple of times over the 3 month period TBC but I can source alternate accomodation at those times as we may do weekend trips away. I'm very social, but I also work long hours and happy to keep to my own to suit housemate and I like my own space.
Hey, We are a friendly French couple who recently relocated from Paris to Sydney. We have a sponsorship visa for 4 years so we plan to stay here for a While. I work in Barangaroo and Sam in Tempe. My partner and I are Easy going, clean and respectful for other people's space. We work hard during the week and we like to discover Sydney and places around during the weekend. We like to practice sports: Patrice is doing F45 and Sam is a swimmer and cyclist. But we also like to have a glass of wine with our Flatemates. We are looking for a room in place with good vibes. We look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Samuel and Patrice
Hi, My name is Javier and I work in finance in the CBD. I am originally from Monterrey, Mexico but have been living in Sydney for the last 4 years. I am easy going, like to go to the gym during week days, play soccer and go mountain biking on the weekends. I also like going out to have drinks/dinner with friends and have an active social life. I like to live in a clean place and where people are respectful. I am looking for a place for at least 6 months. If you have any questions please let me know :)
I am a friendly and genuinely easygoing person. I love to make friends and share different thoughts with each other. I could be intrvert and extrovert at the same time, means we could have some awsome movie nights together, or would totally respect your personal space if you need. Not a fan of party, but wouldn’t mind sitting together for a few drinks.😊
Hello! I'm Beth, I'm 30 years old and I am a musician, AV tech and aspiring fullstack web developer. My partner, Aleks is 28 and is starting his career in marine science. He is also a qualified Divemaster. We both have work lined up in Sydney, based at the harbour. We are currently living in Cairns but we're moving down to Sydney at the start of October for work and to explore a new place! We're looking at around 3 months stay but can make it a bit shorter or longer if needed. Aleks will be leaving to work in Indonesia early January and I have to be gone by Jan 26th as my visa will be up! So that will be the maximum time. We both like to keep healthy and feel good (we're not always great at it but we're keen!). We're fairly early risers and like to get a good night's sleep. We practice acroyoga (keen beginners), I practice and teach aerial yoga (I have my silks with me so if there's a potential rigging point at home, all housemates VERY welcome to hang/practice whenever you like of course!). Other interests include: comedy improv, learning new things, chilling at home, exploring the great outdoors, singing (not very well...)... We don't have pets but I would LOVE to be in a house with a dog/cat/chicken/pony :D I eat plant-based but am totally fine being in a meat-eating house. I don't judge other people's eating habits, I appreciate it when people don't judge mine either :) Aleks is a card-carrying omnivore. I do need to practice my instruments (recorder and clarinet) but I am very respectful of quiet times and make an effort to play when I'm not disturbing other people. There is also a chance that I would be able to do most of my personal practice at an alternative location if preferred. We're ideally looking for a bills-inclusive price to avoid surprises. If bills are not included, please let me know what the average is for your household so I have a solid idea of what to expect! Very much looking forward to finding our new home. Beth and Aleks

Hi there, I'm a busy corporate girl working for a global company. I'm about to be transferred from Auckland (NZ) to Sydney on the 28th October, so I'm on the hunt for my new home. In my spare time I’m a dancer (salsa!) and also love food and dining out. Being active is important to me, so I like to get out most weekends being social with friends and I'm really looking forward to exploring the best of Sydney. I love animals but don’t have any pets of my own. Really flexible with people (i.e. love a good wine with the flatties) and yet private. As I'll be new to Sydney, I would love to live with people that could be friends as well as flatmates. Bonus of living with me - I work for an appliance company and get great discounts if you need new appliances ;) Hope to find a great place to share with great people. Cheers Marissa

Looking to buddy up or find a room, I am an architect from Scotland, looking for a place to live with a friendly flat mate. I am a very clean, tidy and respectful person to live with. (Not one for mess). I have an full apartment full of new furniture I can bring - looking to move to a bigger place. I spend my leisure time in the gym, at the beach, going for walks and brunches/coffees. My party animal says are behind me, so needless to say I keep it quiet at home. I'm super friendly and enjoy socialising and meeting new people.
Current living in Surry Hills and my flat mate is moving to Queensland after securing a great job up there. Looking for central place to CBD. Work long hours M to F and keep busy over weekends catching up with friends and getting out and about. At least once a month travel to see family & friends in Qld for a weekend. Looking to share with a relaxed easy going person who is of similar age.
Between work, occasional study and trying to be active I am fairly busy. I'm laid back but also house proud. Looking for more of a home than a room so someone that likes an occasional cocktail, wine or meal would be nicer than soneone that avoids communication. No one likes bills so have them automated and we’ll do great
Busy out and about during the week, but do enjoy a relaxing night in on occasion. I’m very active training a lot running and cycling. I’m a physiotherapist and Pilates instructor so can lend helpful advice. Busy family and friend life, and enjoy reading and yoga. Looking for similar fun, chill people to live with :)
Hi I’m Lucy I’m 26, due to complete my Masters of Architecture in a couple of months whilst working towards becoming a registered Architect. I'm realistically looking to move out in November this year, but am open to earlier opportunities if suitable. I’ve grown up on the northern beaches, love the outdoors, golf, and thoroughly enjoy a wine and a chat. A clean and tidy living environment is important to me, I’m responsible, independent, I like downtime on my own, but also enjoy the company of others.
I work as a Marketing Director during the day. In my down time I like to play tennis and squash, explore beaches and walks around Sydney, enjoy a decent wine (or gin!), like to socialise and (I won't lie...) occasionally slob on the sofa to watch movies :) I am clean, tidy and respectful of your privacy. I'm a non smoker and have no pets. Looking anywhere, either on a train line to North Sydney or close by, with down to earth people who are not crazy party animals however don’t mind having the odd beer together, failing as a team at a trivia night, or occasionally going on an adventure somewhere at the weekends with each other. I’d rather live with house “mates” than just rent a room with strangers :) I can move in whenever and flexible on budget for the right place. Looking to stay long term in the right place, but a minimum of 6 months ideally, as moving house is a pain!
I am a sports event management professional from Hungary moving to Sydney for professional and personal development. I am outgoing, respectful, and tidy. I love to eat and I have a sweet tooth. :)
Hi there, My name is Yazan and I want to be your flat mate!. I am a professional, working full-time as a project manager in engineering consultancy and a part-time PhD student. I have recently moved from Dubai to Sydney, before that i used to live in Leeds, UK. I am usually described as neat, clean, quite and a social person with a great sense of humour. I also do respect other's privacy and would pay the rent on time. Important to me: you’re nice, you keep shared spaces clean, we are close to public transport (my office is near Wynyard Station) NOT important to me: your Gender/Orientation, your Race/Religion, and your age. Sharing a home is all about courtesy and common sense.
