We’re looking for someone to take over this amazing room at McMahons Point from August 1. We're located 2 minutes walk from McMahons Point Ferry Wharf, with a bus stop outside the building that will take you up to North Sydney train station. Perfect location for weekend activities with a 10 minute ferry ride into Circular Quay, and an easy walk to North Sydney and Milson's Point. There are also a few gyms, cafes, bars and shops along Blues Point Road. The room is unfurnished, but has a walk in wardrobe with lots of hanging and storage space. The unit itself is already furnished and we share the kitchen and bathroom. There is Netflix and access to unlimited WiFi (separate to the rent) We also have an internal washing machine and dryer, and the building also has coin operated washing machines and dryers on the top floor. I am an easy going man with good sense of humor. Love hanging out with friends, going out to have a drink or visiting beaches. Love music.
I'm a friendly, easy-going professional. I love socialising and would always be up for a chat over a glass of wine or a home-cooked dinner. However I do enjoy my downtime and would also respect my housemates need for quiet time as well. I'm pretty active - I love hiking, yoga, cooking, travelling and trying new restaurants/bars. I'm respectful and easy to get along with. I'm looking to move in with someone who is like-minded and has similar values to me.
*UPDATE: Am in a temp sublet until late August/early September so will now be unable to move until last week of August/1st week of Sept 2018 at the earliest. Happy to discuss mutually agreeable arrangements though.* Hello friendos, My name is Ushter and I'm a "late 30-something" man/guy/dude who uses the pronouns he/him, and who is looking to move ASAP into an established share house, ideally with people in their 30s (or older). Me: I work full time for a trade union Mondays to Fridays, doing the 9-5 thing. I would call my ideas/way of thinking being what is called 'being a lefty'. I'm clean, tidy, hygienic, and am not (currently) hosting any alien plagues/beings. I'm sociable and don't mind the occasional chin wag but also like my own space and quiet time. I'm all about personal responsibility, mutual respect, and open communication between housemates. I am available to move ASAFP. (Thick of It reference). You: Please see section entitled "Me". Please let me know if I fit the profile of "suitable housemate" and/or if you know someone looking for a housemate like me. Cheers, Ushter

Hi folks! I am Frank, a 24 y.o., outgoing and enthusiastic exchange student from Hamburg, Germany. I am stoked to have gotten the opportunity to live and study in Sydney for half a year, and now I am looking for the perfect place to start this incredible adventure. I've got plenty of cohabiting experience in different settings and cultures - so I am mostly easy-going and laid-back. However, guess I should let you know about my bad character properties first: I tend to sleep in when it rains, then I engage in a lengthy coffee and breakfast ritual (which I love to share), and I won't be of any help if you just want to have a short polite chat - I am always up for a friendly talk in the common areas and when I am taking too much of your time, you will need to tell me explicitly. But other than that, I am clean, smart, a good student and follow a healthy and sporty lifestyle (my favorites are beach volleyball, sailing, and yoga!) - which makes rather busy, but I always keep a good mood and sunny smile :-) Message me if you think that somebody like me is just what your flat-share has been missing. I am deliberately not writing anything regarding expectations of the room and the equipment because “How” is more important to me than “What”. Cheers, Frank I will arrive in Sydney only on 24-Jul. However, I am more than interested in finding a lovely place so I would be very happy if we can arrange a virtual apartment visit through Skype or WhatsApp!
Hey! I’ll be moving to Sydney at the end of August, looking for a room to rent. I’m originally from the coast of NSW, but have been living in Melbourne the last 12 months. Keen to get back a little closer to home and the warmth now. I’ve just landed myself a full time job at Royal North Shore Hospital as a nurse which I start in August, then outside of work, I’ll be catching up with friends, or keeping busy being out and about. I’m very easy going, have lived in share houses for a while now so I know how it all goes down. Would love to hear from you if you have a room:)

I am a sweet and nice :) sociology student from Copenhagen university of Denmark - I am on exchange for one semester at Macquarie University. I am a social person and therefor I think it is importent to have a good relation to the people I live together with - hopefully we become friends. I will use a lot of time reading, going around exploring the city, parks, museums, beach and shops. I will probably like to go out and get a drink or party sometimes. I respect your privacy and give room for time alone. I like the idear of saying hi when we meet in the morning, evening, when we are going out and coming home ;) I think it could be nice if it is aloud to dance and listen to loud music sometimes, when it dosn't disturb others. I have a free spirit, I am very tolerant and I think it is okay to drink, dance and flirt, have a partner and much more, but I would not like to live with abusers of alcohol, drugs, marihuana, sex or so. - and I would not like to live with a person who has a new sexpartner home every other day. My most importent value is tolerance and respect of others, but I do not accept people who does not treat others with dignity and respect ;) I clean up after myself and expect it from my flatsmates. I like to live clean and nice - probably with some plants or flowers. I would enjoy to chat, cook, eat and go out together sometimes - if you are cool with it? ;)
We recently got our Residence. We are both engineers working our own startup. We´ve lived sharing apartment with other people since 2014 for option, not finantial need. We are moving to Sydney and we love to be among interesting people. Initially, we gonna stay, at least, 2 months to check how to move the company to Sydney definetely. We are easy going, social drinkers and hard workers. :)
This large fully furnished 2 bedroom apartment is ideally located; 8mn walk to North Sydney train station which will take you in the CBD in 5mn. If you prefer the ferry, we're 5mn away from McMahon's Point wharf which is 2 stops to Barangaroo, in the city. It is a quiet building (no parties, sorry) but Blues Point Road up the road gets pretty lively with all the cafes and restaurants. You will be able to enjoy water views from your bedroom and from the large balcony and Sawmillers Reserve is just down the building if you fancy a leafy walk along the water. Your room is available from 1 to 4 weeks, it's very bright and furnished (recent bed, new mattress and pillows, bed table, bed lamp), you'd only need to get a duvet and a small portable heater as it's getting cold & your own linen. You have a dresser in the room but you can also use the other one in the hallway as well as the built in wardrobe.

Amazing waterfront living with incredible harbor views. The place has a salt pool directly on the harbor with massive lawn and BBQ area with private uninterrupted harbor views. Its also got a second pool surrounded by greenery. The lounge boasts panoramic views of the harbor that leads out to a balcony. I've just moved to the area for my work which is just up the road in north sydney and locked the place in because anything similar have just been snapped up. Am looking for someone to lease the second room for a minimum of two months. Can be furnished or unfurnished so you can have your own touch. Would love to hear from you if this is something you'd be interested in.
