Clean, quiet software professional looking for a short stay (until June) place while a transfer to the US is processed. I work full time and travel a lot, so I would be gone most of the time. Would like lower North Shore (I lived in Lavender Bay for the last 2 years) or Pyrmont. Very open-minded, live and let live type. I get along with everyone, pull my weight, clean up after myself and can cook sometimes if I am there. I do not care about age or gender or profession, just be nice people and close to the train, or walking distance to Darling Harbor.
Relaxed, reliable, considerate housemate, looking for a room in a sharehouse with likeminded people, and open to teaming up. I'm social, into travel, snowboarding, and I'm an amateur stand-up comic. I work full-time in policy at Optus by day, and I tend to have a fair bit on in the evenings. I like to stay active playing soccer, tennis, squash or rockclimbing. I also enjoy social boardgames over a couple of drinks, or heading out to comedy gigs, theatre or art exhibitions. * Don't need a carspace, but need to be near a train station. * Not looking to live with couples or children. * For team-ups - I have access to most of the furniture needed to set up a new home.
I am a friendly, easy-going person. I can usually tell whether people want to chat or whether they want to be left alone, so I don't believe that I am much of a bother (I use to rent my spare room out for almost 12 years and I am friends with many of my old flatmates, so I think I am pretty normal). I am very tidy around the house. I am currently staying with my old neighbour, so I guess you could say that I am also an awesome and respectful neighbour. I am single, non smoking, no kids, eat anything, drink anything, listen to anything (except death metal). I have just returned to Sydney after 2 years living in Asia, and I am looking for a great person to share a place with in a great location close to the city. I would like a nice and bright room/house/apartment, but I will consider a dark place if it is awesome and the flatmate is fabulous. I love pets, but I do not have any. Apart from awesome me, you also get a clothes steamer if you choose me! Please pick me!!!
Hi everyone, I'm a 27 year old product design professional from Denmark, who's moving to Sydney in mid-April (willing to take over a lease on April 1st or after). I'm an easygoing person who likes to socialise, but am also quiet, responsible and tidy:) The 6 month preferred stay length listed is flexible, so don't let that be a deciding factor :) I can provide references from previous Canadian and Danish landlords. I have experience sharing homes with others and with renting out my own places in Denmark, so I'd like to say that I know how to make things run smoothly :) You can call me a passionate cook, a design enthusiast, a crazy bicyclist, a creative type, a nature lover, an international and a very calm and pleasant character. I love to fix and improve things and I'll also be out lots to explore the city and see what sports activities the local nature has on offer. Before I move to Sydney in mid-april – my Australian girlfriend (Doctor at Royal North Shore Hospital) can check out rooms for me, in case it becomes relevant. She has her own place in Neutral Bay, so I'm what you get :) We can also chat via Skype, FaceTime or similar. Looking forward to hearing from you! Thanks guys
Details about me includes: - name: James Ray; - date of birth: 10/10/1992 (age 24 as of March 2017); - occupation: technical support engineer at Sungrow part-time (averaging about three days a week), and learning C++ and other programming skills to use for local electricity trading with the blockchain; - industry: renewable energy; - Background Nationality: Australian Citzen (born in Katoomba, grew up in Springwood and Winmalee, been in Sydney since I started studying in 2011—finished B Eng in 2014) - Days and times for meeting, discussions and viewing: preferably on any day that I'm not working for Sungrow (Monday and Tuesday, sometimes other weekdays); I don't drink or smoke. I'm a vegan. I try to avoid imposing my views on others, especially if they don't seem like they'd be receptive or interested in my views. (Doing so is generally a waste of time, I would be better off working on changing myself). As of the 11th of March 2017, I'm working three days a week as a technical support engineer at Sungrow, and learning C++ to use for development of local electricity trading with the blockchain on other weekdays. My work days at Sungrow have frequently varied between two, three and five days per week, depending on demand and staff availability. I do my best to follow Self-Realization Fellowship teachings, meditate and go to a chapel every week (or a few times per week) in Surry Hills for group meditation, listening to a service reading, and chanting. For more information about me, visit Sustergy.co. Currently I live in Surry Hills. I want to live closer to work, and so that I can live somewhere that is quieter than where I currently am (one of my flatmates is particularly noisy, and the traffic is also noisy). I'm looking for a place to stay for the long term. Ideally, the place will: - have a furnished room with a single bed, chair, desk, wardrobe, and chest of drawers. I'm open to sharing a room so long as the rest of my preferences are met; - have storage space for two bikes (I may be able to get rid of one); - be quiet (ideally no speakers with TVs, computers, music, where tenants use earphones or wireless headphones); - be clean (no problems with pests such as cockroaches, ants, etc.), in reasonable repair (e.g. no leaking roofs, flyscreens so that mosquitoes don't get in), and secure; - have access to a kitchen, bathroom, toilet, and free laundry (i.e. not a washing machine where you put coins in); - have fast, reliable internet that has a data limit that is always higher than the data usage (I don't use a lot of data as I don't watch many videos, download music, or play games); - have some bare soil to put two compost bins on (I make sure it doesn't smell by using a lid and covering it up with leaves or the like, and I don't put fecal matter or urine in) and ideally have some gardening space; - have access to sunlight. - be less than $200/week; - have a landlord who is courteous, willing to do repairs if needed, or failing that, to let tenants do repairs or minor retrofits (like adding flyscreens, wall bookshelves, ceiling fans, external roller blinds, hooks or screws in walls or furniture to hang things); - ideally sharing with spiritually minded, meditative, non-smoking, non-drinking, vegetarian/vegan, conscientious people; - be preferably close to Milsons Pt. Surry Hills is also OK, however Milsons Pt is preferred as of March 2017, as that is where I work; - payment available by bank transfer. Payment in cash only is something that I do not prefer due to tax evasion. I am open to finding a vacant place to rent with suitable people who are also looking for a place.
Gorgeous views, and the location is amazing :) (view pics are from the flat) **UPDATED: Available April 24th. Down to earth young professional Canadian in his late 20's, looking for someone to move into the 2nd room of my flat as my current flatmate is off to Melbourne with a promotion. I lead a very busy life as a co-founder in a startup that's taking the majority of my time. When I'm at home I lead a stress-free and relaxed life. I keep the flat tidy, and clean up after myself. I'm into my fitness, travelling domestically and abroad, eating well, and getting away on mini road-trips on the weekends. I enjoy a social drink at the flat, but prefer home to be more of a relaxing getaway, and go out to socialize. The 2nd room (yours) easily fits a queen bed, wardrobe, and has wall to wall windows that take in the beautiful Harbour view. Can be partially furnished if you prefer, or left completely empty. Rent is negotiable based on term required. We're located at the tip of McMahons Point, so we have access to all forms of public transit at our doorstep, with the ferry straight into Darling Harbour or Circular Quay, and a wide variety of cafes, bars, restaurants, grocery stores. In a flatmate, I'm looking for someone honest, respectful of others space, and has a positive outlook on life. If you'd like to come by and check out the room please send me a note with a bit about yourself (if your flatmates bio is limited) and we can look to arrange a time. Cheers, Chris Epic View NYE Fireworks Close to public transport ferry, bus and train LOCATION Unlimited Internet Short OR Long Term Great Sydney Harbour views Sunny room, panoramic windows with water views
I'm easy-going, on-the-go female who loves having a quiet night in cooking at home as much as a trip to the local pub with friends. I grew up in a small country town and have lived in Sydney for 16 years (originally at a boarding school). I currently work in advertising and sometimes work long hours. I'm looking for a quiet, clean home near public transport with like-minded full-time professionals. I own several bits of furniture and plenty of kitchenware that I will very happily bring along with me if needed. If this sounds like a good fit for you, please be in touch!
Hi! I've previously stayed in Sydney for a year..would be moving again in march. I am a professional working with a big4, love the city and prefer to stay near by. Weekdays I take time out for running or swimming and prefer quiet evenings. For weekends I usually plan ahead and mostly out. I appreciate keeping the house tidied up, cook 4-5 times/week and occasionally entertain friends over. Like confining to my own space and don't mind catching up over a few drinks. 😁 Keen to team up with another person and look for a two room house.

sociable, enjoy getting to know our housemates over a drink or meal, both very clean and tidy and willing to chip in to keep our home in order. Chilled out and very easy to get on with.
Hi, I am an IT professional who is a bit of fitness freak too. I love to socialize and have long interesting conversations. If i am not at the gym or work i like to catch up with friends for coffee or Dinner.
I'm an easy going sociable guy looking for a room. I'm 18 and have just moved from Brisbane to Sydney to start an apprenticeship as a shipwright, so I'm working full-time. I'm good for a laugh and get along with people well, but also enjoy some quiet time.
Hi, I'm Chris, I run a telecommunications construction company which keeps me awfully busy on weekdays 7-7 at least (and 1 or more days in the weekends). When i'm not working i am either out with friends enjoying a drink or im on my Boat fishing, skiing or any other fun stuff a boat brings. I come with my best friend Phil- a West highland white terrier who is 18 months old, completely house trained and joins me at work everyday because, well, he thinks he is a human. He's not so good at tricks for treats but ofcourse expects the treat. My busy lifestyle encourages me to have a simple and low maintenance home life where i love a quiet drink in the evening, even more so if you do to!
Hi, I'm Henk. I'm a recovering computer scientist, now working in an innovation role at a major bank (design/ux/product management/consulting/presenting/facilitating/hosting clients etc) I love vegetarian food, I drink very little, and I try to cycle to work. My favourite sports/hobbies are volleyball, skiing and snorkelling. I am neat and tidy, but not obsessively so. (Meaning I don't leave dirty dishes around, but I don't make my bed everyday) I read a lot, lately books on anthropology, innovation, human behaviour, as well as history and historical fiction. (Though I never finished anything by Tolstoy) Ideal living place has ample room and housemates who are good communicators.
I'm 25 years old and work full time in HR for a telco. I normally work from 9-6pm and I usually go to the gym, indoor soccer or catch up with a friend. I'm quite an active person, sociable and love meeting new people. I'm not a huge party animal but I do enjoy having a few drinks here and there. On weekends, I usually have a quiet one staying at home relaxing or going for brunch/coffee with friends, watch movies/tv shows etc. Ill admit that my room can get messy at times but can guarantee you I am very tidy when it comes to communal areas - this is because I expect the same from my house mate too. Prefer to live with like minded people and similar age group. No preference for gender but living in a gender balanced home would be nice. I would love to live with someone who loves a chat over a drink, have dinner together every now and then, go for walks/jogging etc. I appreciate that everyone needs their alone time and I am very respectful of that as I have days where I just feel like crashing in my room and not coming out especially after a long (sometimes stressful) day at work :) Overall I think I'll make a pretty cool housemate. I'm very open minded and love to laugh (hence the display pic) and look forward to meeting someone/people just like me to enjoy life together!
hi, i'm a professional female working in north Sydney area. Looking for something close to the train station with own bathroom. If the place has a pet/s, even better! :) If not, happy to make new friends.
I am a very clean person, funny, sporty and loves healthy food :-) I will move due to work to sydney and looking for a nice and funny roommate to live with. I also love wine and coffee ;-) I am still in germany but looking for a room starting in may.
Hi ! I'm a 21-year-old French girl. I will be working in The Rocks for 6 months, from March 20th. I'm looking forward to meeting nice flatmates/housemates. I'm quiet, open-minded and easy to live with :) I'm coming in Australia with my boyfriend who will be working too, and who is also very sociable. Don't hesitate to contact me to get to know us better and to arrange an appointment. Cheers !
Hey, The awkward about me section, so basically we are awesome, I'm Scottish and Veronica is Irish, getting married next year and looking for a sociable flat share. Not crazy parties and not nights in with the stamp collection, somewhere in between. We both love being active and playing sport but equally at home having a quiet night in with pizza and beer or out socialising with friends. Looking to share with a like minded couple that are easy going and willing to look at getting a nice 3 bed property that's a bit better than average. A 3 bed would be good so that we always have a free room for visitors.
24 year old English girl looking for somewhere homely I can relax and enjoy! Currently studying alongside working full time! So I'm not home too much! Otherwise I'm easy going, friendly and pay my bills on time :)
