Hello potential house mates! My name is Sam I'm 29 and work in admin and my boyfriend Pete who is a 33 year old carpenter, moved to Melbourne about 3 years ago. I'm originally from Perth, love travelling and whipping up some meals in the kitchen and Pete is a home grown Melbourne boy who loves anything sport related. During the week Pete and I are pretty chilled, we both start work early so we don’t party on the school nights. We do generally go out exploring on the weekends and see what Melbourne has to offer with the different bars restaurants but also enjoy a good night in with some binge netflix. We are in a ground floor apartment, which is 2 bed, two bath and a massive living dining area. Pete and I have our own ensuite and the spare room has the bigger bathroom with a bath, which is all yours. The apartment is an old warehouse conversion so it has high ceilings and just heaps of space so it doesn’t feel like your trapped in a box, or get in each other’s way! The apartment has a large open plan living and dining area, with TV / surround sound and fully equipped kitchen. It also leads out strait to the communal courtyard that has benches, and some water fountains. We have recently bought a bed, mattress and bed side tables for the room, so it’s all furnished. There are also built in wardrobes in the rooms so there is heaps of storage space. The location is pretty sweet. It’s right on the corner of Bridge road and Church street that has heaps of bars and restaurants. There's also Coles supermarket just across the road which is open until midnight. We’re about 10 minutes away from the city centre and 10 minute walk from the MCG (Pete pretty much spends footy season here). On the doorstep is a main tram stop, with multiple routes going west straight into the CBD (10 mins) or south towards the beach and St. Kilda, running straight down Chapel street through South Yarra and Prahan (20 mins). It's also a short walk to the main Richmond train-station which has all major train lines going in and out of Melbourne. There is loads of other street parking all around us so If you have a car you can get a permit pretty easily. Basically we love our place! We really want to share it with some respectful and clean housemates that we can chill with from time to time, have a drink and just have a good vibe in the house. If you guys are interested in meeting us and looking at the place, shoot us a message, we're happy to share with other resectful and clean couples or singles. Happy also for short term renting. Cheers, Sam and Pete *No smokers please*

Bruno would be it’s name. Hit me up if you want to chill and suss me out! 🙋🏼♂️
21 year old student at University of Melbourne. Social and outgoing, working mostly nights in hospitality. Interested in music, sports (footy and NBA), and travel.
I'm a considerate housemate who likes to live in a clean and positive environment. I'd love to live with housemates who like to socialise but also appreciate some good old 'me-time'. I've moved to Melbourne to live a more creative life but still work part-time in an office. Ideally I'll be looking for a furnished room but am flexible. I'm vegan and would love to live with others who share the same way of life. I'm into yoga and boxing (like boxercise but with all the good technique ;) and love being surrounded by creative people so I can soak up all those good vibes and be more creative myself. My husband works away permanently so would love to live with kind, considerate people and pets :) He would probs want to crash with me when he comes to visit every other month for an extended weekend.
I've travelled, lived and worked around the world so am used to sharing homes (that's right, homes - not houses). Originally from Europe, I've been calling MelbsTown home since Jan 2017. I love music and "doing things" in this great city - I will tell you about cool events before "Time Out" does. I'm often out and about working, meeting friends, volunteering, exploring, travelling and looking for the next adventure, but I like having a quiet down time at home sometimes as well. In my life I've worked as a flight attendant, teacher, event manager, waitress, interpreter and exhibitor. Oh, and I speak four languages so will give you classes if you're up for it :) I have a good sense of humour but am a terrible cook (sorry!). I'm house-trained and respectful of other people's space - you know, we're all adults when we need to :) I don't have a car so I won't need a parking place. If there's anything else you'd like to know, ask away :)
I am an art teacher who loves music, art, cooking, reading. I appreciate honest, clear communication. I have a lot of experience with share housing and understand the balance necessary between sharing together and privacy. I am clean and respectful of others. I prefer to live with females.
Hey everyone, I'm a very open, friendly, helpful and positiv thinking person. Based on my cultural background, it is in my blood to be clean and tidy. I love to go out, be adventurous and explore the city, as well as to see as much of the world as possible :). One of my favorit things to do is sitting with good wine and food together and talk about people, the world and experiences. I have to admit, I do have a weakness for Netflix though :). Since last year August I'm studying Master of Marketing at the Swinburne University and therefore, I also need some time for myself to study and relax. I'm so looking forward to get to know Aussies, but also all kind of other cultures as well. Happy to find someone nice and friendly :)
Hi! We are Mireia and Carles, a couple from Barcelona. We arrive in Melbourne in September and we will study and work. Currently we are looking for a room in a share apartment for our first months in Australia. We are very friendly and we would like to meet new people from other cultures and learn a lot from them.
I moved interstate almost a year ago and have been experiencing Melbourne ever since. I’m a full time bartender, and work some days also so I’m not home a lot but when I am, I like to cook, binge Netflix, or play with my cat. I go to music festivals, hang out with friends and explore new places and travel. I’m fairly laid back and clean. I have a year old cat who is so tiny and very cuddly. Ideally looking to start a new sharehouse in these areas with some cool people and have our own little thing going on but open to moving in somewhere if it’s suited. Move in date is flexible.
I'm an easy going person. Always open for a chat, neat and likes to cook. I finished my bachelor in psychology. Last year I traveled already for 8 months and I decided to come to Australia with a work holiday visa. I still want to improve my English and get to know the culture and lifestyle better.
Hiya guys! My name is Soph and I am a 21 year old student studying a double degree of Criminology and Psychology at Deakin Burwood. Looking for some flatmats to room with for the 2019 year. Am a super chilled person who loves adventures and meeting new people. Can easily spend the day binge watching tv episodes and the night drinking with friends. Would love to hear from you
I'm Tim, work in the media, love my sport, music and fitness. Very easy going, work hard during the week, relax during the weekend with a sneaky pint or two. I'm looking for housemates that are similar. Not sure what else to say, but please get in contact.
Hi I am Shreyasi, 31, Indian. I am an e-comm stylist and will be working full time. I am moving to Melbourne early September and looking for a flat share near South Yarra/ Richmond/ Caulfield stations as I would be taking the train to commute. I am friendly, easy going and tidy and love to have a good laugh. I respect people's privacy but would also enjoy a drink or a meal and a chat once in a while. I have lived in Melbourne for a couple of months last year and fell in love with the city, its art & culture and its coffee. Some of my interests include art, movies, fashion, stand up comedy and pub hopping. I am looking for a place for at least 6 months, and if all goes well even longer. :)
We are coming from Turkey planning to live and work in Melbourne for a year. Most of the time we will be outside working or entertaining the city, so we need a place to stay that preferably is not so far away from the city center.
