Hi I am a 24 year old student from Denmark studying a semester abroad at RMIT City Campus. In Denmark I have lived by myself for 4 years. I am looking for an apartment with my own bedroom or a twin shared bedroom at a maximum. I am looking for a place to stay from now on until around the 15th of November at which point I am done studying and will be exploring other areas of Australia. I don’t smoke, but don’t care if you do as long as it is outside. I like the occasional party, but I’ve come to Melbourne to study and experience the life in the most liveable city of the world. I also like to have a nice night in and watch a movie or sports. I like to keep my place neat and tidy. I’d love to be friends with my roomate(s). Respect and privacy are important to me.
My lovely housemate will be heading back to Sydney at the start of August so I'm looking for someone to fill her room. It's a large double bedroom with BIR and has access to own bathroom. There is a also a secure garage car parking spot available. Spacious ground floor apartment in a secure complex, with an outdoor courtyard. The apartment is semi-furnished with room for some additional furniture if required (large couch in the photo is gone). All the mod cons - Split system air con/heater, smeg appliances, gas stove, granite bench tops etc. Perfect location on top of Richmond Hill, just off Church Street between Swan St and Bridge Rd. Plenty of public transport options with trams from Bridge rd 75 and 48 and from Swan st 70 tram - approx 15 mins from CBD as well as East Richmond train station. Easy walk to the MCG and Melbourne park. Lots of pubs, restaurants and cafe's in the area.
The property is located in central Richmond, very close walking distance to Swan street, Church street, Bridge road and Punt road. There is a tram stop at each end of the road taking you to chapel street or into the city. and Richmond station is a 5minute walk, if public transport is not your preference a parking permit can be easily arranged. Being centrally located in Richmond you are never to far from a bar or café. There're also plenty of parks, gyms and cycle paths near by if you are more into the fitness side of things. Another bonus for any footy fans is the MCG being a 10minute walk from the house. The apartment itself will come fully furnished (the room itself will be unfurnished), with a big TV and Netflix, unlimited internet is available also. The apartment also comes with a lovely balcony with a great view of the city (during the better weather ;) ). The apartment also comes with air-conditioning/heater in the main living area. The available room is the slightly bigger of the 2 rooms and gets great sunlight during the summer months. It comes with built-in floor to ceiling wardrobes with plenty of room for bed side tables and a chest of drawers.
The location is definitely the best thing about this place! It's its located between bridge road and swan street. Only a short walk to East Richmond/ Richmond train station or any of the bridge road (48,75) Swan street (70) or Church street (78) trams. Easy access to an abundance of of local pub, bars, restaurants that Richmond has to offer as well as being close to supermarkets, MCG, tan/botanic gardens ect. The house is large with fully equipped kitchen, wifi, Foxtel, storage, two courtyards, washing machine, dishwasher and heating. The house is fully furnished ( apart from the vacant room) but if you have a bit of furniture of your own I'm sure the housemates would be happy to consider using it. If you have a car, there are a number of options available. The house has a driveway for 1 car, 1 single car garage and 4 visitors spots. There is also options for parking permits for the street. ** I'm looking for a lease transfer but the lease is currently month to month so there is no long term commitment**
Welcome to our house! It's a 3 bedroom, partially furnished, renovated terrace style home. You will have the front bedroom of the house which is quite spacious. ** In the pics, your room is the room with the black couch under the window - It is also referred to as the Sitting Room in the floor plan. The room is unfurnished and you will need your own wardrobe or clothes racks as there is no BIR. There are built in bookshelves in the wall, and there's also a super cute/ funky ornamental fireplace. The bedroom is carpeted. In the morning, sunlight filters through the hedge at the front, and into the room, which is really lovely on those cold winter mornings. You will be sharing a bathroom with Jamie. I have done this previously and I can confirm it was a smooth arrangement. The kitchen/ living area is one big space which opens up onto the outside courtyard/ backyard. This is a great space over summer to have friends over or eat your breaky/ lunch/ dinner outside. Our house is situated in the heart of Richmond. You will be only a minutes walk from Bridge Road and 5 minutes from Church Street and Swan Street (All of which have trams). You'll be a 5 mins walk away from the Saturday morning farmers market, 6 mins away from Coles, surrounded by restaurants and cafes, across the road from a gym, and it's a 10 min tram ride to the MCG. OR alternatively if all of that doesn't appeal to you, there's a KFC at the end of our street and the notorious Dirty Swan is only a 15 min stroll down the road. We are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable and clean. Available ASAP/ immediately, and you will be required to pay $1470 bond + $1020 rent ($2490) prior to, or upon moving in. Rent is $1020 per month and is to be paid in advance on the 10th of each month. If you're interested, send me a message. Bonus points (though not essential) if you have a couch and/ or TV as our old housemate took those :)))

Hi all, I am moving to Melbourne on the 3rd of August from Auckland, NZ. Looking for a place that is relatively central as I won't have a car. Preferably furnished, but not a deal breaker if its a long term stay as I am happy to buy a bed. I have been working in analytics for a bank in NZ, so will be looking for something similar once I arrive (nothing locked in yet). Ideally looking for a social flat with people who enjoy going out for a few drinks or a meal every now and then. I play indoor netball, like to keep active, am a massive bookworm and enjoy a good netflix binge. If I sound like I could be a bit of you, flick me a message. Private rooms only. Price is pretty negotiable, particularly once I have sussed a job. Cheers
