The house is quite modern with an open plan, big kitchen, separate laundry, a study room, and ducted heating/aircon. Rent for the third room is currently $152, however this could change slightly with the lease renewal. This does not include internet or bills. Unlimited internet plan: additional $23/month per person We are looking for someone to stay for at least a year as this is how long we are renewing the lease for. The bedroom is a decent size with built in robes, is carpeted and shares a decent sized bathroom with another bedroom. The room is not furnished so you will need to bring your own bedroom stuff! The rest of the house is furnished except the living area (but we may purchase the sofa from the housemate that is leaving unless the new person has their own). There is little maintenance outside the house - no grass, just the occasional weeding before inspections. There is also an outdoor setting under shade and a pizza oven for entertaining people! Street parking is available and the street is very wide so there is ample parking. Location is very close to the city and a couple hundred metres from a bus stop that goes straight in. Unfortunatey, no pets allowed.
I've lived in the country all my life and I'm really enjoying exploring Adelaide and all it has to offer. I love cafes, eating out, watching the odd bit of bad reality tv, music and art. I have two jobs. I work morning shift (6am - 2pm most weekdays) in a manufacturing role and I also work as a Retail Assistant a couple days a week. I am a very easy going person. I like to have a friendly chat and maybe a coffee with my housemate but am equally happy to keep to myself if that is appropriate. I like things to be clear and transparent around expectations/ chores in the house - so everyone knows what they have to do. I would consider myself to be friendly, generous, very reliable, trustworthy and respectful of other people's space. I am ready to move now and keen to find a new home asap. Hi! I'm a full-time student at Adelaide Uni and I also work part time at a bottle shop. I'm looking for a decent sized room in a friendly share-house, with people who are easy going and happy to share a beer/cup of tea at the end of the day. Uni and work keep me pretty busy, however I do love a lazy Sunday at home. I've lived out of home for nearly seven years now, so I know how to take care of myself and be neat and respectful of others. Fairly flexible with move-in dates, although I'm hoping to find a place by September 1st. I have a queen sized bed and a desk, so would prefer an unfurnished room.
