I want to live in an area that is no further than an hour walk from the city. I'm open to living with outside smokers.

The area: Our humble little abode is in an absolutely prime location! Just off south road so heading down to Flinders and marion shopping centre is a breeze, just off richmond road so the city is just minutes away and just off anzac highway so there is easy access to glenelg! We live 3 minutes drive from kurralta park shopping too so coles, pharmacy, k-mart, bottle-o and cafes (pretty much everything you'll need) is close :) The house: The house itself is an older, rustic house with lots of character! A mixture or floor boards and dark slates throughout. Tori and I are both fans of DIY projects and plants, so these things feature a lot throughout our house haha. We have a large backyard, however its cement and barkchips.. but we have an undercover area and bbq which we use quite often. The house also has foxtel and unlimited internet :) The house is also fully furnished except for an outdoor setting.. feel free to bring that along with you if you have one! The room: The room you will have is the second largest in the house and comes with an old school build-in cupboard. The room will be unfurnished upon your arrival. The current occupant has a queen bed, and desk in the room and still has some space to move. The room also has floorboards.
Large room Available with queen-size bed, wardrobe, and a desk with an individual lock to grantee privacy. The house is also furnished with a large TV, Dish Washer, Washing Machine, Fridge, Chest freezer, outdoor table and large dining table. The house is conveniently located mere meters for a bus stop. Hi everyone! My name is Devin. I’m looking to rent a room for 5 to 6 months around the Adelaide area, not too far from the City Centre. I’m staying in Australia from July 11 to December 28. I’m a law student from the University of Montreal in Canada, and I’ll be studying at the University of Adelaide as an exchange student. About myself, I’m a fairly independent person. I’m very clean and organised, I cook well and often, I eat a pescatarian diet, I do my chores (clothes, dishes), and I’m sociable and open minded (especially when I travel), though at home I prefer a quieter environment. I enjoy cooking, reading, playing guitar, swimming, fencing and martial arts. Unfortunately, I can’t meet in person because I’m still in Canada, but I can certainly talk on Skype. Thank you and have a great day!
I'm an exchange student from the UK that will be studying at the University of Adelaide from July 2017 for a semester. Ideally I'm looking for a furnished room, with bills and internet included in the weekly cost. I'm a clean, quiet and friendly person.
Hi I am a full time student and I work full time as well. I'm very clean, tidy and conscientious. I love socialising but also very quiet. I enjoy cooking, gaming and building and fixing computers. I am always on time for rent and happy to do my share of house chores and cleaning.
Hi! I'm Lisa. I'm a neat and tidy female who works full time in marketing and likes to lead an active, busy life. I'm a sociable person who is quite communal in nature, but I also like to have some solitary time, too, and understand when others need the same. I spend a lot of my free time cycling, skating or at the gym, and have two friendly, lovable small dogs (Jack Russell and Fox Terrier) who would also be joining me.
Hi ! I'm Kelly Ann - moving from New Zealand to Australia to start a leadership role at the Australian Centre for Social Innovation. I'm also a yoga teacher - easy going and tidy, enjoy cooking, walking and great wine. I'm looking for short term accommodation from the end of August - mid December 2017. Please note that I'm looking for upmarket and accommodation (I'm not interested in very cheap rent) close to the city, and would prefer to live with other professionals. I love animals (dogs), but am allergic to cats so would not be able to live in a house with cats. Back in New Zealand, I have a husband and minature sasuage dog named Winston Chorizo.
A little about me, I am 25 years old professional works in the city full-time. Apart from work, I am also studying towards my CPA. Looking for a place near the city. So, it will be easy for me to commute to work.
I am a wine industry professional, back at uni and looking for a new place to live. I come with cooking skills, excellent taste in wine and a respectful and easy going approach to life.
Although its not the prettiest old house we can guarantee quality housemates and a clean and funtional home! Very close to the city, shops and public transport. Rent is $130 a week, bond $500, all bills are spilt evenly each quarter Your room will be the front room which is 3.9x4.2m with 12ft ceilings! Whole house is very spacious and a great space to share! The last photo is of my own room just to give you an idea of how large the room is as the room available does not photograph well at the moment
I am looking for a flatmate. The unit is a 2-bedroom fully furnished, located near to stop 3 in Richmond road (bus 167, 168), only 5-10 minutes to city by bus or 15 minutes by bike also close to Glenelg beach. Ps: the bills is not included in the rent ;)
If you're an open minded, socialable and energetic individual you will fit right into this jolly sharehouse! A bit about the house; - large bedroom, can fit a large bed, desk and built in wardrobe - has a lot of character - filled with artwork (mostly created by it's occupants) - big backyard and undercover outdoor area - complete with flourishing vege patch and 3 fluffy chickens - newly polished timber floors - renovated bathroom A bit about the area; - mostly a residential area - very easy access to the airport - good access to public transport to the city and Henley Beach - about 15min walk to groceries and nearest cafes
its close to the city, its large, bright, clean, renovated bathroom, separate toilet in the laundry, washing machine - no dryer, renovated large kitchen fully equipped, 2 separate living areas, ceiling fan, reverse air/heat in kitchen/living area.
We have been best friends for over ten years and are perfect housemates to live with. Very clean, great cooks, fun to be around and always up for games, movies and drinks. We have both studied and are now working full time around the city. We are heading to Europe for a few months and are looking to sort our living arrangements for when we return in mid-late October. We have plenty of furniture to fill an empty house, and would be happy either just in a two bedroom home by ourselves or teaming up with others to get a bigger place. Ideally somewhere near the train/tram line is handy, and hoping to live with other respectable, neat and social people too.
My name is Whitney and I am from the States, more specifically, Colorado. I am 28 and headed to Uni of Adelaide to finish up the last few courses for my Masters degree. I love spending time outside hiking, biking, camping... I like it all! While I do enjoy a good social sesh every once in a while, a glass of wine and a movie night always hits the spot. I am certainly not a late night party type anymore except on the rare occasion. I am very tidy and enjoy socializing with housemates but also enjoy some solitude after a hard day of school/work. I am just leaving a full time job so I understand and respect the necessity of getting a good nights sleep before work or school. Also, I absolutely love to cook and bake! Ideally I am looking for a place that is furnished or semi-furnished. I would prefer living with other females but am not opposed to living with any males if our personalities work. If you think my time frame and some of the details about myself would fit in well with you let's talk! Thanks :)
Quite working guy looking for a furnished room. * Quite room especially at night; * Closed to public transport & supermarket will be nice; * Parking space is a plus;
I am looking for a furnished room in a share house or larger apartment, rent should be max . 150 $ . including all bills (internet included). If any possibility I prefer no bond option but if it is needed, it should be no more than 2 weeks rent. Prefer to live in an all female flat, but am open to a mix gender place as long as we have common living expectations. So about me: I am 30 years old, international student from Europe. Have been in Adelaide for a year now, I am studying commercial cookery and work part time in a restaurant as a cook. I don`t smoke and not a party person but am very social and talkative, have a good sense of humor so you won`t be bored around me. I do like my private time as well so also keep things quiet around the house. I am tidy and take care of things that don`t belong to me so the place will for sure stay in the same condition once I leave ;) . I like to cook but always clean up after myself so the kitchen is spotless once I am done using it. Paying rent is always my priority and you will never have to worry about that with me. I am reliable and easy to get along with, also very considerate to others and respect other peoples privacy. Other than that, I love animals (don`t have any but don`t mind them being around the house - it is a bonus actually ), love going to the beach and enjoy swimming in this gorgeous ocean, like to watch movies and reading. I am also very interested in healthy cooking and keeping fit (I go to the gym as well and take long walks). I would really like to find a place that is somewhat close to the beach, Camden Park, North Plympton, Glenelg etc. would suit me most. I really hope there is also a nice outside area in the garden where I could have my morning coffee ;). If you have any more questions, feel free to contact me and I will reply shortly. Cheers, Katarina
Howdy! PhD student studying forensic toxicology (with Flinders Uni but lab is in the city) looking for place (current landlord is selling!). I have furniture so would prefer to be able to move it in but this is not an essential. Looking for a house with housemates that are preferably students as well. Professionals also alright. Not party animals... Other than study: music, piano (have a digital piano with headphones) and gym. Autumn and spring: hikes. During winter, I'm introverted (but sociable) and am home often (love music, but am respectful of volume and have excellent earphones if the walls are thin). During summer: beach, beach, tennis?, beach and walks. Recently getting into board games too.
