I am very organised and keep my belongings within my own space, but I am more than happy to help share and create a friendly and homely atmosphere. Originally from Melbourne, I've moved to Darwin for my first adult job, so a big step in life at the moment and I'm looking for somewhere comfortable to come home to each night. Happy to try new things and fit in and adapt to a new household.
Howdy! I'm a 23 year old female from Adelaide but am moving up to Darwin to work at RDH, arriving March 4th. I've lived in share houses for the last three years so I know the drill and am very easy going. I love travelling, boardgames, dogs, cooking/baking and camping adventures on the weekends. I'm respectful of everyone's space but would love to find a house with a communal atmosphere and housemates who I can share a meal or glass of wine with every now and then. Please be in touch if you think I'd be a good fit (: As I'm not arriving until March 4th and would like to look at your place and meet you before I sign up, please don't contact me if you need someone immediately. Thanks !
- I have an air-conditioned room available in my elevated house, which is located in a very quiet court in Millner (no passing traffic). $160 per week. I have a large yard and it is a comfortable fully furnished home with queen size bed provided in room with built-in wardrobe. - House has lots of parks and open green space around it making for a pleasant area to live. Foreshore and beaches are nearby. - 95% of neighbours are owner occupier long term residents. - Lots of supermarkets, shops, cafes, local weekend markets are nearby. - I bike ride often and do lots of my commuting by bike as it is often faster and easier - Equal share utility costs. I have solar electricity panels and solar hot water system that greatly assists with reducing the cost of utilities bills. - Bond required. Rent 1 or 2 weeks in advance. - Public transport is nearby. Central to Casuarina (approx 4km away) and City (approx 8km away).
Must love dogs. 1 descent sized unfinished bedroom availiable. The property is in a nice quiet street close to transport, shops and a short walk to the Rapid Creek Markets. Its a small house but very cosy with built in robes a/c and fans in every room.
I'm an Aussie nomad and have lived in Melbourne, Townsville and now Darwin at various points of my life. I'm a science communicator and a keen photographer/videographer, which I do as both a passion and for work at different times. I love being active, outside, and particularly being near the water, whether it's for sport, exploring or relaxing.
Heyyyyyy! I’m looking for a room to live with friendly, easy goin, clean and reliable people who are easy going to have a chat with and enjoy a bevy every now and then. I work in health care and will do shift work! 😊
I'm a pretty relaxed and friendly person. Ive lived in shared houses as well as had my own place so I know how to share a space. I'm a bit house proud so I like to keep things clean and tidy but I don't go overboard. I've lived all around Australia and overseas, but am now settled back in Darwin. Working part-time to full time hours at a local medical surgery. I love music live or not, reading and watching strange and interesting movies.
Hi, I’m Rebecca. I’ve just moved up to Darwin from Perth to work at the hospital. I’m a doctor so often work long or irregular hours. When I’m not working I enjoy the outdoors, music, photography and socialising. I’m a conscientious and tidy person. I am ideally looking for a place for the next year. It would be great if I could find a place where I can bring up my red-heeler, Speck, but not a dealbreaker if not.
Hi there, we're Monica and Matt. We've just moved across from WA for work, and we're looking for a place in the Rapid Creek/Nightcliff area (as Perth kids, being close to the beach is pretty important to us). We are early 30s, clean and considerate housemates, enjoy cook-ups with friends, baking sourdough, hiking/camping/fishing/ultimate frisbee - generally anything outdoors really. Monica works at the hospital with a shift-work roster, but she's a pretty good sleeper and we're happy to share a place so long as your life doesn't revolve around tap dancing, pogo stick or DnB.
We are currently unemployed which is so strange for me to write as I’ve never been unemployed since leaving school but we have just moved from Sunshine Coast to beautiful Darwin. We first visited over Christmas and feel inlove and now on our way to start a new chapter in our lives. We have been living with the inlaws so we have cash behind us and will be looking for work as soon as we arrive so just need a place while we sort jobs so we can apply for our own place but if it works living in share house would be happy to stay. I’m a childcare educator and my partner a plasterer. We are both clean, happy, social couple and drama free.
Hey! I'm looking for a room close to the city (Stuart Park,Fannie Bay,Nightcliff etc) or a place that isn't far from a bus stop to get me to work! I'm a 23 year old Irish girl working full time, mostly working weekends! I enjoy spending time with friends, doing different activities and having the occasional drink or 3🙌🏻 I also love my own down time and consider myself a tidy housemate who is respectable of others. ☺️ Hoping for a share house with good vibes & make some friends along the way! Happy to consider meeting up with potential house mates and going in on a place together also 🤗 will be looking to move at end of February/1st March!
Hey guys, My partner Aaron and I have been living in Darwin for the past 6months and are loving it here! We have just arrived back from a big summer holiday in NZ and are ideally looking for a place to live in from now for the rest of the year. A little bit about me: I'm a lover of the outdoors, camping, hiking, sports, getting together for dinners with friends, love a good cook up, and chilling out. I'm in my late 20's and work as a physio. My partner is a crazy surf addict (not the best hobbie when living in Darwin). He loves playing all kinds of sports, eating good food and loves just chilling out too. He's works full time as a Mechanical fitter so is up early and home late. We both make an effort to keep a clean and tidy house and are super respectful of others space but also up for a good chat if others are up for it. We are ideally looking for a room with an ensuite or a granny flat but are open to other options too. If we sound like someone that might fit into your house and if the dates suit let me know. Thanks, Missy
I am a high school teacher and International youth speaker who has just moved to Darwin after living in Melbourne for the last 5 years. I love making smoothies, being outdoors, and adding way more chili than I can handle to food. I tell the worst (best) Dad jokes, I'm pretty social but also enjoy my down time and can be a total book worm. I head overseas 3-4 times a year for work or back to Victoria to run programs, so you'll get a decent break from me every now and then and I'm really looking forward to exploring Kakadu and Litchfield when this monsoonal craziness finally ends and the dry is upon us!
Easy going, friendly, likes to hang out with housemates but still values own space. For fun- I like Rock climbing, live music, board games and outdoorsey stuff. For work- I am a vet so love animals ( I have three pet rats) Clean/tidy but not OCD, respects common areas.

I'm relaxed at home and I like a quiet place to live. I love to cook and enjoy cooking for others. I'm social and enjoy some shared dinners and a good chat with house mates during the week. I'm an advocate for respecting housemates' personal belongings and keeping shared spaces tidy and clean. My interests include mountain bike riding, travel, camping and bushwalking.
The apartment is centrally located between town and casuarina with easy access to nightcliff shops and bus routes. The room and apartment are fully air-conned. We have unlimited internet available. The apartment is located in a small quiet complex. We are also currently in the process of painting the walls to freshen the place up.
We are two paediatric nurses that will be moving up to Darwin in mid April. Hoping to find some people to find a share house with or existing share house. Our budget is $200 pw each maximum. We are looking for furnished properties and looking for a 6 month stay/lease or month to month. We have previously stayed in share houses and are used to the dynamics. Very respectful, laid back and familiar with shift work so we don’t throw parties. We love cooking and both very clean people. Also love socialising and excited to meet new people. We look forward to hearing from you. Emily and rose (the two on the left)
The property is located in sort after Suburb of Jingili. Which is good central Suburb between City and Casuarina. Being only 5 minutes drive to Casuarina Shopping Centre, Charles Darwin University and another couple of minutes to Darwin Hospital. Good central location for Students, Doctors, Mid-wifes and Nurses; or any professional worker. For any FIFO persons it is only 5 minutes bike ride down Rothdale Rd to the Darwin Airport, and 3 minute walk to Darwin Airport Tavern for lovely meals, friendly beverage or a go on the Pokies. I prefer to have a mix of males and females, and Couples are invited to apply as all bedrooms are furnished with Double or Queen beds etc.
