Hiya! My name is Katharine but most call me KP. I've just arrived in Darwin and would love to find a nice home to live with some new friends. I can move in December or January (very flexible). I moved here to work with women in prison. The last 2+ years I've spent living in Cambodia doing human rights/ women's empowerment work. I like to think I'm a fun, social housemate. I refill the ice cube trays... I have a big ol' green thumb and will probably cultivate a little forest in the home... I like hosting occasional dinner parties, hiking & kayaking, 80s power ballads, and have been known to rock a dress up party on occasion. I make an excellent Bowie. Being reasonably social I'm not always home around dinner time, but when I am home I like to hear how your day was and maybe share a wine or beer. That said, I've just returned to social work, so sometimes I come home exhausted. If my housemates want to explore the great outdoors on the weekend, that would be great - otherwise and I can find those people elsewhere. Ideally I'm looking for a place with lots of nature, a relaxing veranda and a nice common area. I prefer the house to be TV-less but don't really mind either way. If that sounds ok to you, I'd love to hear from you. Cheers!
Hi, I'm moving back to Darwin (born and bred) after having lived in Adelaide for 3 years. A course in Masters of Psychology is bringing me back and I plan on staying for at least 2 years. I will try to get a casual job to work nights and weekends as well. Moving on 13th of Feb so will be looking at checking out some places and meeting up with people after that. Would prefer somewhere close to the uni and the beach. I like to socialise and explore the areas I live in. Would be looking to move in with like-minded people who are up for a chat and a drink or a meal. I like to get down to the beach, exercise, watch a bit of Netflix and go out with friends. I'm pretty quiet around the house and always tidy. I love a house with lots of light and open space.
Im a full-time first year primary teacher, therefore I'm a 'professional' working gal, lol - working hard and long hours, as I love my job just looking for like-minded females to share with and have a glass of wine after a long day. Not a party person, just enjoy sociable housemates. I am very clean, (almost OCD! lol) so I will do my share always fo the cleaning! Currently in my own place, therefore I have my own furniture...what else? Anything else, just ask!
Hey there, my name is Jared. I'm originally from Brisbane but Darwin has been home for the last ten years. I've recently finished my law degree at CDU and I'm currently working full-time at one of the betting agencies until I can crack into the legal industry. I'm a tidy, kind, polite and respectful housemate. I enjoy socializing with others, but I get that we all need our space from time to time! Ideally I'm looking to move into somewhere before the end of February.
Hey I'm Tash, originally from Perth, WA, and I work in festivals/events. I've lived in Darwin the last two dry seasons (going between Darwin and Perth) but now I'm moving up permanently. As a roommate I am very clean and organised, I love having a good chat and socialising but also really like having my own downtime and I respect other peoples space too. I love to cook and am more than happy to share some of the meals I make if you're keen. I enjoy going on adventures and being outdoors, and I just generally like to keep myself busy and doing some sort of activity. Any other questions feel free to ask me :)
I am a 24 year old recent graduate who is moving to Darwin from Perth on February 3rd 2019 for a new job as rehabilitation consultant with iPar in Darwin. I am very athletic and enjoy playing indoor soccer and volleyball in my spare time. I am easy to get along with and looking for accommodation for 6 months+ with fun housemates who enjoy going out in the evening but also value my and their own space.
Hello :) My name is Laura and I’m a travelling registered nurse. I’ve worked and lived in WA, Tasmania and Canada. I’m easy going, a great cook and I feel I can get along with almost anyone. I like alone time but am also social too. I’m an artist and love to paint, go on day trips, music concerts and am really keen to camp in the dry season. I’m looking for a house that feels like a home, living with people that I can call my friends.
Hi! I'm a Midwife at RDH, just moved to Darwin recently. Love exploring the national parks, and Darwin in general. Looking for a chilled, nice place with friendly people, happy to have a chat and a drink on the balcony, whilst also respect personal space.
Hi all! We are a couple looking for a room in Darwin for 12 months from April 2018. Jacqui is 25 years old, a nurse relocating from Perth to Darwin to work at RDH for 12 months. Liam, 24 years old will be joining her. Liam works fifo (2 weeks on and 1 week off) so will not be around a lot so it won't feel so crowded. We both currently live in a share house in Perth, so know to keep our space and are good at keeping things clean and tidy. We are both quiet and respectable people who like our space, but can be sociable at times. Very easygoing :) We are bringing up 2 cars from Perth so if there are car parking spaces that would be great :) flexible with furnishings but if your place is furnished- bonus for us as less stuff we need to move up! We both love to go on adventures and can't wait to come to Darwin this year! Feel free to message with further info if interested :) Look forward to hearing from you.
Moving back home to Darwin after 4 years away working in communication projects across Western Australia. Will be great to be home again after all these years. Looking to share / sign on property lease or rent a room for next 12-18 months. Travel and working away from home in NT, but still based in Darwin. I have been sharing a house in Perth with 2 students professionals previously, sad to leave the crew from WA. Will be putting furniture into storage in Darwin until I find a place. Only interested in long term arrangement. I don't smoke and clean up after myself. I like cooking fishing camping, and online gaming when home and a good hard workout from time to time. Happy to chill with a small group of people after work with quite drinks / BBQ.
Easy going, originally from Ireland, living with my girlfriend in Melbourne for the past 4 years so well trained 😋 I work in Healthcare with shift work so you'll often feel like you've got the place to yourself 🍻
I'm 28yo Nurse. Have been up around Darwin for a couple of years now. I am well rehearsed at the share house game and am therefore very tolerant. I am also pretty clean and pull my weight. Do enjoy a social house where we can have a beer or dinner now and again. Spend my spare time camping and fishing or anything to keep active.
