I am a working professional who is moving to Northam for work. I require a place from the 1/12/2018 onwards. I am looking somewhere quiet and low maintenance which is cost affordable. I am easy to get along with. Thanks for your consideration :)
WHAT: A furnished master bedroom in a quaint York cottage. The room has a queen sized bed, bedside drawers and wooden dresser. The house itself is an old style construction, with jarrah floors and a pot belly stove, the original brick structure has been supplemented by enclosed verandahs on all but the southern side. She’s not in perfect shape, but she’s low maintenance, has nice light in the kitchen, and a great view over the surrounding farmland. WHERE: York, 500m from town centre, 35 km to Northam and 95 km to Perth city centre. The house is at the southern end of town on a dead end street, and is surrounded largely by the old Balladong farm. HOW much: rent plus approx. $10/week in bills. Pets: Pets considered with permission from the realestate agent, and must be able to tolerate the attentions of the dog. The yard is not fully fenced. Plenty of space for chooks though.
$140 all-inclusive of bills. The room is furnished with bed, desk, drawers and built in wardrobe, nothing fancy and able to remove if would prefer to bring your own furniture. Room to rent in Jane Brook. Plenty of parking on the front lawn for those who drive. Being an outer suburb it's most likely suited to those based around Midland or the Eastern suburbs. Swan View Coles/shopping centre down Talbot road few minutes drive away. About a 10-12 minute drive to Midland. The household is LGBT friendly so would be expected of potential new housemates. Smoking would be allowed outside as long as butts are disposed of properly of course. We are looking for the right person though as we consider household culture to be important. We mostly keep to ourselves, but obviously want to be able to casually chat with each other, and avoid any animosity.
