Hello!! We are a Colombian couple currently living in Brisbane, we have part time jobs and I study too; we love nature, animals and calm places, we really enjoy reading, hiking and travelling in our free time. We are very organised and respectful people arriving in Hobart soon and we are looking for a calm and cosy place not tooo far from UTAS (Sandy Bay). :)
I am a 26 year old health professional. Relocating in late February 2019 Clean & easy going. I enjoy the occasional social gathering but mostly keep to myself. Keen outdoor adventurer (mostly hiking) and just starting to get into bouldering.
Heyyy, I'm Luciana and I'm 23 years old. I'm currently working full-time in Melbourne and will be relocating to Tassie (Hobart) very soon for study purpose. I'm looking for a private room in a share house (for myself only) from prox. end of Jan/early of Feb onwards. Most of the time I will be out and about, but I will still up for wine-night and enjoy social/dinner time or movie night with housemates. However, I will be quiet in room majority of the time to relax/retreat or do my own work. I'd describe myself as an outgoing, responsible, nonsmoking and tidy person. I have experiences with living in a shared house and respect my housemates' privacy or house's rules. So it'd be ideal if I could find a lovely housemate-to-be have the same thought :) Cheers, Luci
Hi I am in the process of moving from Western Australia to Hobart to work in the Parks and Wildlife Service after many years working in WA Parks and Wildlife. I will be working full time and at the moment I am looking for somewhere to stay for between 1 to 2 months until my belongings arrive and i find a suitable place to stay in the long term. In the long term I am looking for somewhere that is pet friendly for me to bring over my one year old Kelpie x ridgeback (kelpie size) and preferably somewhere with a shed/workshop i can use. It would be great to find the perfect place to start with but initially I will be happy with somewhere to stay. When my belongings arrive I will have my own bed and some furniture and most importantly my coffee machine!!
Easy going working professional looking for a place to relax / unwind after work. Enjoy good food and banter. Am respectful, clean and tidy. Have recently relocated to Hobart from Sydney for work. I look forward to meeting new people and am looking forward to the opportunity to meet new people in this beautiful city. Regards Andrew
Hi. We have recently moved from Melbourne, currently staying with family. We are looking for a room to rent anywhere in the Hobart region. We have a 2 year old cat named Sonic. We are good at keeping the house clean and garden maintenance. We are respectful of others and their space and are quiet.
Hi! I’m 21 years old shift worker from Hobart. I work in the bar and gaming industry and I usually do at least one night shift a week which means I don’t usually get home until around 5am, but I’m always super quiet and respectful when I get home! I love hanging out with friends, camping, hiking, going to the gym and the occasional white water rafting trip. I also love a competitive board game on a rainy day or just sitting down and watching Netflix or having a drink. I’m looking for a house with people around my age who don’t mind being friendly and having a chat but also respect space when needed. I look forward to hearing from you!
My name is Leighton. I am a 28 year old professional working full time. I have a small border collie named Rosie. I like to go fishing and camping, I have a boat and a few other accessories which I would need preferably a shed and parking space for. I am a clean and respectful housemate. Shift worker so come and go at different hours. Enjoy being social and having fun
We'll be working in Hobart and looking to explore more of Tasmania in our free time so probably won't be home too much but we would like to find a place to call home, meet new people, start having a routine, going to the gym, yoga, and hiking.
My name is Caitlyn, I am 21 years old and from North West Tasmania. I spent 3 years in Melbourne studying Criminology and Psychology. Now I am moving to Hobart to do my masters in zoology. I intern 3 days a week at Bonarang Wildlife Sanctuary. I love the gym, netball, movies, art, animals and reading. I'm fairly quiet however don't mind a wine night every now and then. Feel free to message me with any questions.
We are both pretty relaxed and love the outdoors and the environment. We have lived in a few share houses in our time, so we know to be respectful, considerate and tidy. Our dog Otis (Kelpie) is 3 years old and is both indoor and outdoor trained. He has a gentle nature and is great with all people and other animals too. We both love all sorts of music, especially while relaxing with a cuppa listening to vinyl. Our weekends usually consist of bushwalks, looking for native flowers, attempting to boulder/rock climb, hanging out with family and friends, occasional movie marathons, yoga and crafternoons. I am currently on holidays for Uni. I started my first year of marine biology this year but have transferred to a degree at UTAS. Caitlyn works Full Time as a Park Ranger. We usually spend our afternoons taking Otis to the Dog park or dog beach and then having dinner and relaxing (usually board games, crafternoon or watching a series like Terrace House or Westworld). We are open to finding a place with some new people and making a home for us all or renting a room in a share house. Please feel free to send a message our way. Cait, Sax and Otis.
Hello there. I'm a thoughtful, friendly human looking for a place to call home. Would be chuffed to find somewhere with a garden and lots of sunshine. I will be studying visual arts f/t in 2019 and work casually in a bookshop. I'm also a potter and have a gentle russian blue cat.
Hey guys, I’m Dan. I’m 29, Australian and I work full time on boats out of Dover. I’m looking for a room in a share house or flat for a medium term stay. I’ve been living in a house in Dover, but the owner is moving back in and I’d prefer to be closer in towards Hobart. My work roster is 2 weeks on, 1 week off and I’m usually away for a few days at a time. Previously to Tassie I lived in Airlie Beach and worked as a captain on backpacker party boats in the Whitsundays. I’m very used to living in share houses and on boats with lots of people around. I’m a tidy person and everything I own can fit in the back of a car. I don’t really know anyone in Tassie, so it’d be nice to live in a house with people who like a social drink and like to go out and do things on their time off. That being said, I’ve just spent 2 years babysitting drunk backpackers out on the water, so I’m not keen on a party house. On my days off I’ll usually head out for a kayak or volunteer on the tall ship Lady Nelson. I’m still getting used to Tasmania and want to make the most of my time down here. I do have a dog, but sadly he’s going to Adelaide to stay with my family there because we can’t find anywhere that will allow him in Hobart. I’ll be in Adelaide until the 7th of January. It would be amazing to find a place before I get back. Thanks for your time :)
Hello! I’m Laura from a argentina! I’m an Easy going and friendly person tracking with my boyfriend and another couple around Tasmania, working as pickers! I love outdoor sports, I’m an amateur rock climber and I am a graduate geologist. Hope to meet you soon!
Hi I am looking at an apartment share because i am planning to do a Masters Course at UTAS. I am a friendly, social outgoing personality looking at a comfortable and economical stay option in Hobart
Hi, We are a very neat and tidy couple in their 20's hoping to find a rental within close proximity to Hobart. I am Vegan and Mathew is mostly vegetarian and would prefer a vego friendly household, but it's not a necessity for us. We are pretty active and enjoy freediving and being in the outdoors in our spare time. Mathew plays soccer 4 times a week as well as working for himself as a gas fitter. I work in the city as an optical dispenser, I also am not a massive party goer but I do enjoy a cheeky wine or 3. I love cooking and eating healthy food and would love a place where I can grow some plants, at least a few fresh herbs :)
