We're an easy going couple, travelling since 2008. We've been around Australia for a year (2014-15) and would like to settle in the Byron Bay area for a while. Ronald was born in Australia, raised in the Netherlands and France, he's musician and electrician. Claire is French, working as a freelance software engineer. We both like our relaxed life with music, reading, hiking around sometimes, having a fresh beer in late arvo, watching series in the evening...
I've just landed my dream job!! I'll be working for an amazing start up in Newrybar from April. I currently live in Melbourne but am looking to find somewhere within an hours drive from my new job and living with some awesome people. I'm friendly, clean, tidy, funny, thoughtful/considerate and uber-chilled. I'm looking forward to the change in scene so I'll be swapping my Melbourne woolies and lattes for my Stand Up Paddleboard and bathers and (hopefully ) also taking surfing lessons too. Initially I'll be spending quite a few weekends back in Melbourne, so will probably only be home Mon-Thu while I settle in. I'm working full time and looking for somewhere for at least 6 months. Maybe more if I find the right place / flatmates. I can't wait. :-)

I'm an easy-going Aussie guy. Clean and tidy. Relaxed, but not lazy. Sociable, but keep to myself mostly. Studying to be a teacher's assistant. About to start a part-time job as a kitchen hand in a new vegetarian restaurant. I am vegan myself and would prefer a vegan/vegetarian friendly house, but am flexible too, and respectful of other lifestyle choices. I love the beach. :)
Easy going, open-minded guy, always up for a surf, outdoor activities, good laugh and couple of drinks. Clean and tidy, well-organised. Been living down under for over 4 years, always sharing the place with others so always trying to be the most respectful and friendly as possible.
I'm a very young 54 year old woman looking to move up to the Byron area. I'm initially coming up to volunteer at Bluesfest, and then enjoy the festival. I will spend a lot of my free time there looking around the area to see if a permanent move makes sense. So initially I need furnished accommodation for a few weeks, with the possibility of extending longer. I'm not really retired, but I'm not working at the moment. I will be looking for some part time work in the area or Gold Coast if I do move up there permanently but I'm financially secure in the meantime. I'm a creative type, love playing my guitar and singing in bands, sewing (clothes, cushions, upholstery), going to live music, watching movies, and other fairly quiet pursuits. I don't drink alcohol, smoke or do drugs, I eat fairly healthily (including meat) and I go the gym regularly. My adult son lives in Brisbane with my gorgeous 4 year old grandson (a major factor in wanting to move north).
Happy, friendly, sociable, clean, tidy, pay bills promptly-well that's the dog...lol, as for me, am pretty much the same, i only bark if danger. Lol. Janea.
We are three fun loving, hard working girls from Sydney looking for a bit of a sea change while we are young. Looking for a place to stay while we work and enjoy the local area.
We are an Australian couple from Adelaide who have been travelling around for a couple of years chasing the snow. We currently live in Canada, but rather than working another ski season we have decided to move to the east coast to learn to surf and really just for a change of lifestyle! We are used to living in a shared household, although we are very social people, we also like to keep to ourselves and maintain a clean and healthy environment. We are reliable financially and aim to be working most of the time so that we can continue our travels in 2019. Our interests are music, snowboarding, hiking, socialising and exploring. We have experience in cleaning houses and other household tasks on our travels so are very willing to help out whenever needed! (we're animal lovers, so this would never be an issue!)

M or F (no couples sorry) to share beautiful large sunny home with two others. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a large bathroom and lounge area. Your bedroom is overlooking the water. You would share the bathroom with the other person upstairs. Spacious lounge , reading area and kitchen downstairs, flowing onto an undercover deck with daybeds overlooking the water and amazing pool. The sunsets are spectacular ☀️....or it's a 250 metre stroll to the beach to catch the sunrise. Private, quiet, and a walk to the South Golden shop to grab some great bites......You will absolutely love living here. $290 per week which includes bills and wifi. No pets sorry. Looking forward to meeting you 🌻.
Hi there I am a super chilled-easy going hippy who is looking to make the Byron Shire my new home. Born in the UK, family from the Caribbean, spirit from the Earth. Everyday mediation practice. Buddhism, OSHO and Khrishna are very important to me. Heavy incense burner. Pescetarian. I tend to have very strong relationships with my house mates, more family than strangers passing in the night. I could go on... :)
We are a couple seeking a home in the Ocean Shores / Brunswick area from early April. We are both working professionals - Belle's work in outdoor recreation takes her away on 3-5 day expeditions mid-week most weeks and Monique works full-time in a community services organisation in Lismore. We have lived without a TV for many years and have carved a beautiful lifestyle out of no-TV-life so we'd love to keep it that way! Though we are not opposed to Netflix or a movie night on our projector screen with pizza, wine, and friends. We like travelling, finding swimming holes, and doing activities in the great outdoors and are looking forward to exploring the local arts culture, food, and community atmosphere in the Northern Rivers. We're mostly interested in finding the right kind of people to live with who are friendly and respectful. We are mature-minded individuals and we're not looking for a party house, we want our home to be a sanctuary and happy-place :) Our ideal housemates would have similar housemate ethics. We would also love to have a place where our friends and family from Brisbane can visit for the night every now and again. We've been living together in a share house and our wonderful housemate can provide a reference if you'd like! We're open to short or long-term accommodation options, and are interested in teaming up to rent a new property that we can all make our own. We'd ideally like to rent 2 rooms within the house so as to have a study/spare room, so we're looking for a 3-4 bedroom place to share with 1 or 2 other people - couples preferred but singles welcome! Our budget for up to 2 rooms is $380 per week.
