Full time journalist who just landed a new role in Hobart. Would love somewhere central and close to the CBD, but willing to fit in with the right housemate! Easy going & neat guy, who enjoys a nice balance between social and solo time, and also likes to keep fit.
I am a 24 year old graduate solicitor moving to Hobart to take up a new job until June 2018. In terms of personality, I'm relaxed, quiet and happy to do my share of household tasks. I'm happy to engage in group activities, but am fairly reserved so appreciate my own time and privacy. I move to Hobart on Monday 14 August, but have temporary accommodation until Thursday 17 Aug. Ideally, I aim to have rental accommodation by Mon 21 Aug so I can settle in (and explore Hobart) before commencing work on Mon 28 Aug.
I'm moving into my fantastic new house. Come and live with me! "Nestled away in a private street, yet so close to all that Sandy Bay has to offer is this beautiful 1970's home. The house offers incredible River Derwent views directly from the living room and large sun deck. Upstairs offers an open plan living and dining area with floor to ceiling windows providing an abundance of natural sunlight. Also on this level is the kitchen, separate laundry room, powder room and sun room/study boasting a stunning outlook. Downstairs there are two bedrooms both with built-in robes and the main bathroom with a double sink for convenience. Situated only a 10 mins approx. walk into Sandy Bay Village where you can find many common services and an 8 mins approx. drive into Hobarts CBD. There is a double garage with a roller door and inbuilt storage and off-street parking for one car and plenty of on street parking, making parking a breeze. Also very close to public transport." - Description taken from the real estate listing. There are actually two rooms available. One for $150 per week, and the other for $200 per week. Both have built in wardrobes. Rooms will be unfurnished. Hugely excited about the prospect of some great summer BBQs on this amazing deck! Please note, the furniture in the photos isn't mine. I'll be moving in my own furniture to furnish my room, the living room, dining room & kitchen. But furniture contributions are welcome too! Use of the off-street park in the garage can be negotiated.
A Singaporean student enrolling in the University of Tasmania, easygoing and friendly, prefers a nice and quiet environment that is conducive for studying. Fun and sociable, I love to meet new friends and companions.
An incoming UTAS graduate student, I enjoy fun and insightful conversations and outdoor activity (sports, treks, etc). I'll selfishly boast as well that I can strike a chord with absolutely anyone. Look forward!
Moving from Victoria to study.I am friendly and respectful, fairly quiet but also social. I have a great sense of humor. I am able too cook and clean. i will have a stable job once i move as i can get a transfer from my current job. I will be studying physics and geology. I love to explore national parks or forests in my free time. I have a car and am on my P1 license but will almost be up to P2 by the time i move. Also planning on buying a new bicycle so a room within cycling distance of UTas would be ideal. Thanks in advance!
Hi! I'm about to graduate from UTAS and I'm looking to move to Hobart from Launnie to find work. I'd prefer to find a place which has the NBN and where I can run an Ethernet cable to my room. I am trustworthy, and I do my best to be respectful of others. I am quiet and I like my privacy, but I do my best to be friendly! I have no pets and I do not smoke. If we sound like a good match, just shoot me a message and let's have a chat. Thank you!
Hi I'm Anna, I am 19 years old and I am studying at the Uni. I have a casual job but my priorities are my priority! I am from Hobart and am just looking to move out of home. I enjoy outdoors activities and occasionally binge watching television shows. I am a fairly bubbly, friendly personality and I absolutely love to talk but at the same time I am quite a chilled person and am easy going. I am tidy and I quite like to clean and would just like to find somewhere affordable to live.
Hi all, I'm Kenny Nguyen, I'm from Melbourne and a graduated student in Accounting. I moved to Tasmania to study professional year to support my degree which help me to find a accounting job for further career.
Very quiet & respectful. Work full time mostly night shifts, no kids and very clean
I am a Danish exchange student from doing a clinical placement at Royal Hobart Hospital in the fall. I love hiking, kayaking, and the outdoors in general. I am easygoing and open-minded and I am normally living in a flatshare in Copenhagen, so I know how it works. I hope to find a room/flatshare as I like the social aspect of living with other people.
Hi there, My name is Linnea. I'm a 27 year old Danish student moving to Hobart in the end of September for a clinical placement at Royal Hobart Hospital. I'm a friendly, tidy and respectful girl who enjoys doing acro yoga, hiking and socialising over drinks or food! I am either looking for a share (preferable in Sandy Bay, but everything is welcome) with people in a similar situation to myself who are friendly, sociable or a whole flat/property.
I'm a 21 year old part time medical receptionist in Hobart and student nurse at UTAS! Currently living inconveniently far from the city (a casual 50km), so I think its time to plant some roots a little closer to civilization (or at least I'm hoping to!). I'm a super neat and tidy person who is considerate and respectful of all communal spaces in the house! I love to socialise but also enjoy my down time. Would love to join an existing house with like-minded people and possibly make a couple more friends in the process!
