I am a down to earth, friendly, easy going and sociable person. I appreciate my quiet time and I will respect your privacy. I am tidy, and I have a steady source of income from my PhD funding. I have diverse hobbies which include amateur astronomy (you get to see my telescope!) and going to the gym to be fit and active. I generally keep to myself, but I do not mind the occasional dinner or two.
this is a large, modern, well appointed home close to all facilities. Located on a main bus route which is regular to the CBD and University. Only 10 minutes to the University and approximately 14 mins to the city but may be quicker especially by car only 7 mins. It is only 2 mins to the University if you have your own car. Off street parking is available. It is a very quiet area with bush walks and sites close to see. Air conditioning available, a view, a chance you may have your own bathroom. NO smoking here. Utilities to be shared
The location of this property is great in Hobart, close to everything one needs, only minutes to the CBD by car, shopping, supermarket, University of Tasmania only minutes away. On a main bus route. Yet you are in quiet, bush setting with wild life and plenty of bush walks available. Suitable for studying as the area is very quiet! Feels like you are away from the CBD yet close to all facilities when needed. Large garden, safe suburb and all security to the home is present. The room is bright, sunny and spacious, could suit two people if necessary with built ins. BBQ., Air conditioning and a view. Please no smokers. You want for nothing if you live here!
Looking for another couple or two singles to share a place with. Andrew is a super social extrovert, loves going out, bushwalking and meeting new people. Works casually, studies full time. I'm (Hannah) an introvert. I like quiet environments, curling up in the couch for a night in but still really enjoy being around people. Works full time. We have a fluffy ginger cat named Stewie. He's never had a problem with other animals, toilet trained, and rarely misbehaves.
A Lovely, Modern Home has one large room available for rent asap. The home is spacious and caters with a large kitchen and large gardens. It is a quiet, safe property yet close to the University, the CBD, shops, Beaches and has plenty of nice walking areas around it. there are wildlife close by. Some small dogs live here who are very playful.
The apartment is quite small and it is part of an apartment block, however we have great neighbors and don't hear from them much at all. The unit is situated on a main bus rout into the city through sandy bay and there is a bus stop directly in front if the apartment. The large bedroom (easily fit a queen bed) is fully furnished with a single bed, bedside cabinet and a built in wardrobe. The bedroom furniture can be removed if you would like though. The place has a reasonable kitchen with a great stove, small but tidy bathroom and a comfortable living/dining space. Also, just so you know, the property lease finishes at the end of April, however I am pretty sure that it could be renewed.
Hey, Im Harry. Ive just moved back to Hobart for full time work with the uni and Im searching for a room in a share house. I am easy going and enjoy hanging out with house mates, but also happy to do my own thing and respect others space. I am clean and tidy and enjoy cooking. I am pretty active and enjoy getting away camping on weekends searching for surf and diving. Searching for a room from the 10th of January onwards longterm. Cheers.
Ola, weird gal from Queensland, 24, got my feed of city life after living in melbournia for several years and am ready to move on. Beginning study at UTAS in Feb, work hospo currently but hoping to get out eventually. Pretty flexible on move date, pretty much between now and end of jan. I'm pretty laid back as long as everyone is putting in/doing fair share ect. Clean as hell, respectful, bit of a home body; love cooking, eating, gym, climbing, animals, playing music, camping/hiking and reading. Always up for a bit of a chat but need alone time as well. Like parties occasionally but it's not really what I want to be surrounded by when I'm at home trying to relax or study etc. Definitely important we get along but in saying that I'm pretty easy going and honest so as long as we can have a normal conversation we'll be sweet. Can be annoying due to aloofness, inability to remember things people say and non-apologetic cackle laugh. Sorry. Thoughtful and abrasive. Ups to free speech and diversity. ok i think this enough, peace
I'm clean, quiet and can usually pass for an adult :) I've been sharing with the same group for several years. I like to cook and eat decent food, bake cakes and have a good chat. I like to garden and make things too if I get a chance. I'm not a party animal but I can handle a beer or two. I'm cool with animals and I don't smoke. I work primarily in IT and like being outdoors as much as in. I have a car but I prefer to get around by bike.
Hello! My name is Emma, I'm 19 years old, and I have been offered to study a Bachelor of Media starting February 2018! This means that I have to move from Launceston down to Hobart and find a place to stay. I'm very responsible and easy to get along with. As much as I enjoy spend time with friends, I also appreciate quiet and personal space, especially when studying.
I'm currently studying my Master's at UTAS, have been living in Kingston since February 2017 but I'm looking for a new home away from home for 2018. Something a little more central would be ideal. I'm a pretty easy going guy, quiet, friendly, clean and respectful of others' space. When I'm not studying (which is most of the time) I enjoy music, watching films, playing sport and exercising (running/gym). I don't smoke or have any pets, 1 car which I am happy to street park where required. If you have anything available that you think I'd be suited to, flick me a message and we can organise something, cheers.
I'm very friendly and love people, love a good cook-up and chilling out too! Can talk about almost anything, but leave you alone when you need quiet too ;) I'll be needing plenty of alone time as a fast-track nursing student anyway. I am a disabilty support worker, non-smoker, neat and tidy around the home. I have a gorgeous 6yr old labrador I either can bring with me or leave with my folks if you can't have her, but trust me, you'd be missing out ;)
Hi, I'm Jacob. I'm 23 years old and I'm moving to Hobart from Geelong to study at UTAS. I'm a friendly, tidy and relaxed person who enjoys watching movies, listening to music and chatting over a few quiet drinks. I love animals (especially dogs) and am always happy to respect your personal space. Looking for a 4 month stay minimum but I'm very flexible and would be happy to stay for a year or more if everything works out :)
Hi, I’m a 26 year old Singaporean full time law student with UTAS. I’m going into year 2 and am looking for a room to rent. I’m currently staying in king street and would prefer a place not too far from school. I do drive so distance is not so much of a concern. I’m a responsible and organised individual focused on my academic goals. I get along well with others and respect personal space as well. I keep my space clean and considerate to those living around me. I go to the dogs home of Tasmania to volunteer in my free time and enjoy road trips as well.
A 21-year old from Singapore, will be reading Law in UTAS from 2018. Just a chill guy who minds his own business most of the time, but can be a real chill buddy - I love my beers, partying once in a while would keep me sane and an avid fan of sports (been playing rugby for 8 years now and I watch soccer once in a while). Have also served in the Army so don't need to worry when it comes to keeping the place intact :)
Socially, I am easy going, love to have a chat and easy to get along with. Hobbies include being a mediocre fisherman, love a good tourist-like adventure and binge watching TV series. On the serious side of things, working full time as a graduate engineer and completing my honour's thesis in 2018.
Hello, I am Subrina. I am from Bangladesh. I get enrolled in spring session 2018 at Tasmania University. Im a 22 year old female, who is moving to Tasmania for my PhD at UTAS towards the end of February (date TBD). I am a bit of a work-aholic, but I am laid back and can work around noise. I would like to move my horse over with me so I am reaching out here in the hopes that either someone else wants a bit of rural living and will co-lease a property with me, or they themselves have a room with enough acreage to keep a horse. The horse, Zack, is a big smooch who loves attention and scratches. Feel free to text or call

I am a masters student from Germany wo will study at UTAS next semster. I absolutely respect people's privacy and needs for quiet time as well as I like to get together and have fun. I am also a tidy person, who would like to explore the beauty of Tasmanian nature and would be happy to find friends to do that with! I love cooking, music, animals, photography, diving and dancing as well. =)
We are happy going couple with full time jobs. Most weekend we will be free doing activities like walking and camping around hobart. We are clean and tidy all the times as we have rented properties in our entire student life sharing with other people. Looking forward to meet awesome ppl... Cheers
I am a health professional making the big move down to Tassie in January 2018. I am tidy and respectful. I like to consider myself a relatively chilled person. I will be working full-time and like to spend my weekends doing a lot of outdoor activities (hiking, jogging, etc). I have previously lived in sharehouses and am respectful of others' privacy. From time to time, enjoy good quality banter and craft beers. Looking at starting a sharehouse or apartment in early Feb 2018, please feel free to message me if you are interested :)
I'm Sarah and I'm 26. I have just accepted a full-time position under the THS and will be making the move from Melbourne to Hobart. I will be moving around the 3rd/4th of Feb, but can move in at a later date (my stuff can be stored for a while). I will be bringing my bedroom stuff with me and maybe a few other bits and bobs (some nice armchairs) I’ve lived in share houses before so understand the balance between needing interaction with your house pals and needing some me (and you) time. I want to come back everyday feeling like I've truly come home, so I’m keen for cooking together and having a few beers every now and then. I do like to go out to socialise but I am not keen on bringing the party back to the house. However, I am totally down for entertaining smaller groups. Dinner parties are always fun! Heads up: I like to live in a clean and tidy home. Ideally I'd like to live with people who get that, and are also wanting to maintain a good standard of ~so fresh and so clean~ throughout the house. I'm looking for a home with caring, compassionate and considerate house pals. Preferably others who have lived in share houses before and want to create a comfortable environment filled with ~good vibes~. I am very approachable and open to suggestions, so if something wasn’t working or what not I am extremely receptive to feedback and working toward making everyone comfortable in the house. As I won't know all that many people yet in Hobart, I am hoping my housemates will be keen to show me their favourite camping spots, hiking spots, beer spots, reading spots and whatever kind of spots you enjoy! Another thing to note is that I currently live with my partner and he won't be making the move to Hobart with me (at this stage) :'( !!! This means he will be staying for a weekend or so every 6ish weeks and I'll be gone for a weekend or so every 6ish weeks. Please don't hesitate to message me if you have a room! I won't be down in Hobart until the first weekend of Feb, so can only do in-person meet ups after that. But I am more than happy to start the conversation prior and can be available for skype meet ups :)
I am a 24yo who has recently quit full time work in Adventure Tourism for Uni to study Marine Bio.I am moving from Melbourne and live by the beach in a very chilled bayside town. My hobbies are anything outdoors but particularly diving, paddling and gym + brunch, cooking and coffee. I like being social, drinking wine, having a laugh & quiet time listening to podcasts and reading. However in saying all this, I plan to be very focused on my study. I have rented with housemates before and lived with both men and women so I know protocols/how to be independent and respectful :) Please let me know if you're interested. Bridget NB: I’m not in tassie till 7th Feb!
I'm looking for a room or people who would like to search for a rental together. I am a full time PhD student, and I work a casual job on weekends. I'm an active runner, bushwalker, and climber. I keep mostly to myself, but I don't mind a social house either. Ideally I'm looking for a place that is within a reasonable commute to Sandy Bay, either side of the river. Looking to pay no more than $160 per week, or $180 if bills are included.

Can always find me enjoying a good cup of coffee in a cafe during the day and sipping on refreshing G&T during the night. Personally very neat and tidy as I prefer working in a clean environment. Currently working as an architecture designer in Hobart.
