Hi everyone, We have three possible rooms to rent, available in end of January 1. Master room - $155/week 2. Regular Bedroom - $145/week 3. Slightly smaller Room - $135/week All come furnished with beds, mattresses, desks, and in built wardrobes. Kitchen is also furnished with fridge, microwave, stove, oven, grill and plenty of pantry space. There are both electric heaters and a fireplace. Just bring your clothes and electronics! There is unlimited NBN for about $8 per person per week extra; and you have to pay an electricity bil (about 15-20/week) and water (less than $1/week). We prefer someone who might be interested in getting on the lease. We are right outside a bus stop that will take you to UTAS Sandy Bay, Hill St Grocer, Salamanca Fresh, and the city. So these rooms are suited to someone who studies or works at the university. For those who drive instead, there is ample space for parking. We want someone who is responsible by paying their rent and bills on time, polite to the other housemates, cleans up after themselves, respects space. At this point we CANNOT accommodate pets (except for goldfish or hamsters). Couples are welcome in the master room in which case the prices go down Please send a message here on flatmates if interested.
Hey All, I'm Matt, I'm 27 and work full time in Sales. I have a 16 month old son who I have approximately 3-4 nights per week. He's a happy go lucky boy along with me being chilled and down to earth. So having us there would not be an issue. I also pride myself on my cleanliness. I'm after suitable accommodation that would allow me and my son to be there. Ready to move ASAP. If you have any questions, please, don't hesitate to send me a message or flick me a text/call. Thank you in advance.
Mount Nelson is a very peaceful and green suburb, but still within 5min to UTAS and 10min to the CBD. Rent is inclusive of all utilities and unlimited wifi, and the room can come furnished with a king single bed, desk and chair, or unfurnished. The home is fully furnished with all the appliances you could want, including printer, air fryer, coffee machine, and 65" tv. We also share many other things like pots and pans which you are free to use. There is aircon in the shared living area, and panel heaters in each bedroom. All bedrooms have built-in robes. The home was built in 2015, so is well insulated and modern. Outside there is a deck at the back of the home which will eventually have a BBQ. There are also numerous planters where you are free to plant whatever tickles your fancy. Please note that it is preferred if you don't have a car as parking is complicated. However, it can be arranged. There is a bus stop within a 1min walk. Buses take about 12min to UTAS and 20min to the CBD.
Hi! I'm a 26 year old studying Ancient History at UTAS. I'm looking for a new long-term rental. I am pretty laid-back, respectful, quiet, tidy, friendly but introverted (I tend to read or watch Netflix) I would love a place where people are around in the evenings to catch up. I love books and movies/tv shows (particularly horror and fantasy/sci-fi!) history, pizza and having the odd drink of a good cider. I don't drive, so good access to public transport is a priority, as well as closeness to Utas. (note - the dog in the pic is mine, but she doesn't live with me)
The home is located on a bus route and is close to the CBD and the University. It is in a quiet and safe area and is situated among trees and some wildlife. There is some water views although small. Lots of sun and fresh air, close to shops and on a bus stop and main terminal. I have Netflix and reverse cycle air conditioning and am equipped with a good kitchen and all appliances. The home is modern and clean. 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets. Large garden area. This is a non smoking, no drug home.
Hey everyone! I'm Josh and in the pic is my lovely girlfriend Michelle, we are currently looking to start a share house in any of the places listed below in our profile. Currently it is myself, Michelle and our mate Lochie. we are wanting to bring 1-2 more people onboard and get a large house that we can all share in one of the afformentioned places. $650 would be the top pricepoint for the sharehouse or teamup as flatemates calls them. We are all pretty chilled out people, we enjoy netflix bingeing, PC/Console gaming, having a few cold ones with friends, good food & great company. If you think you would fit in with our little trio then feel free to message me with alittle bit about yourself and your situation and hopefully we can find something that works for all of us. We are ready to go straight away so please if you are interested make sure you have all your paperwork/financials sorted as we do not have time to burn (my lease runs out in Feb 2020) I lookforward to chating with all of you!
I'm from New Zealand and work as an arborist, Keely is from Washington state and works as an outdoor guide. We're a relaxed, quiet and considerate couple who like to keep spaces clean and tidy, always happy to hang out and chat about whatever, equally content to do our own thing and keep to ourselves. When we have free time we enjoy hiking, rock climbing, seeing films, watching shows and exploring local places.
My name is Dev and I will be moving to Hobart this January to be a school teacher. I have lived and studied in Canberra for the last 6 years, predominantly living in share houses. I am a tidy, organised and easy-going person. No issues have arisen out of my previous tenancy arrangements. Outside work, I am keen to explore the Tasmanian high country and join a local sports team. Ideally, I am looking to rent a room for 6-12 months, at no more than $220/week, internet, and furnished. I am flexible to arrangements outside of this. If you are looking for someone to take your spot, please get in contact. Cheers, Dev.
Hi :) I'm a super clean and tidy, generally quiet, green-inclined homely homie seeking a tidy, quiet and green homely home 😁 My lifestyle tends to involve cooking, good local vegetarian/vegan food (I currently still eat eggs & occasionally honey), markets, dance, dessert (I like to bake!), community connections, drawing/life modeling, yoga/kirtan/meditations, gardening and other creative dreamings 😊. I desire a *smoke and drug-free* sunny space (not too chic, not too shabby - rustic aok) where I can contribute my energy and create deliciousness in the kitchen, store some stuffs, maybe write and create some stuffs, and grow my own veggies :) I'm also doing my best eco-consciously, aiming for living zero waste. I very rarely dring alcohol - kombucha is enough for me 😉 Ideally, a calm self-contained space or share with 1 other, maaaybe 2, (sans children) would suit me best. I enjoy deep intelligent conversation and equally my own company. 😊 Did I mention I like to cook and feed people? 😉 (I did for a couple years at Source Community Wholefoods until recently 😁) I adore animals and would really like to keep my absolute lovebug of a furry feline friend (rescued from a garbage bin (!)) and his somewhat less social spirit brother (also rescued, after a torturous first few weeks in life), both of whom I am a responsible, wildlife-protecting guardian. I've also raised a few hens who can supply golden yolks, and their bodyguard (but will rehome if necessary). Additionally, if at all possible (but not essential) I would like to be able to share custody (alt weeks) of my most beautifully affectionate therapy dog, Lakshmi 💛 For the love of fresh air, stars and energetic solitude, I crave a quiet, green space - preferably less than 30 mins to town - but am certainly open to options and ideas... Another option is perhaps you could even have some flat ground space on your property/land to have me in a 22ft caravan/self-contained tiny home (need access to water & power)... I'm great to have around for security, garden maintenance, and pet feeding 😉😍😁 Please, let's talk :) Smiles, Sufiyo Rubyn
We are a friendly couple looking to move out together. We both love animals and would be more than happy to live somewhere with pets. We are both 25, one of us is a solicitor and the other is still at uni and works as a part-time gardener.
