Hey! We are 2 young guys setting up for an amazing summer and we are looking for a weekend hangout. We work in Kangaroo Valley building things and are looking for a place in Wollongong so we can spend the weekend around other young people and have a good time. As the profile suggests my name is Alex, I studied Landscape Architecture and in my post uni trip to Europe I got very distracted helping restore a sailing ship which is where Thor and I met. He has now come out to Aus to help build some stuff in Kangaroo Valley, he is also a sailor, has enchanting eyes, flowing curls and plays guitar. The full package. We are old souls with young hearts and minds. We love activities like cooking strange things, crafting things, swimming, making up random songs and having a boogie to live music but no pop doof doof, please no pop doof doof (maybe only as a guilty pleasure once in a while).
Hey guys! We're a down to earth, friendly couple that are looking for a place to rent in Wollongong. Not so fussed where but we'd prefer something close to the beach, cafes etc. We're both laid back and love the outdoors so we'll often be at the beach, going for a hike and we love a BBQ! We both have full time jobs and I'll be working in Wollongong from October so we'd like to move out soon or near the end of the year :) Feel free to send me a message and we can have a chat
Hello :) My name is Michelle (42) and we live in a large unit in Balgownie with 2 bathrooms (1 toilet and shower in the garage, the other in the house with a seperate toilet). The room is currently furnished but that can be changed if you prefer. It has a built in, mirrored wardrobe. We have a friendly indoor cat :) There is a large backyard (no need for mowing but if you have a green thumb, you're welcome to grow a vege/herb garden), driveway parking, close walking distance to bus stops and Balgownie village (shops, cafes, bakery, restaurants, post office and pub). There is a large, fully equipped kitchen and unlimited internet is included in the $160 p/week price. Unfortunately our yard isn't completely fenced off, so we wouldn't be able to contain a dog :( We have a double garage which is pretty much where we hang out together if we find time :) but can also be a place for storage of your things if needed.
Hi! I will move from Germany to Wollongong to start a PhD in Biosciences in October! This means I will work more or less full time. Nevertheless I hope to find flatmates to spend some good time with! I am always up for a talk, easy going and social on the one hand and super sportive on the other, I especially favor all sorts of outdoor activities!
I have rented in a share house before, moving out due to lease contract ending. Super tidy, keep to myself as well as enjoy a few casual drinks. Working casually 20-30 hours a week and studying full time. I am bubbly and friendly and also fun company 😃
Hi my names Jack and I am from England. I am currently undertaking a gap year and plan to come to Australia to play cricket for Wollongong cricket club. I have just finished schooling in England and wanted to do some travelling before attending University next year back in England. I am particularly interested in sports, cricket and rugby particularly. I would be great to live with because I generally keep to myself and sustain a relatively high level of cleanliness. I am a sociable bloke and am sure I would be good company to keep for my 6 month stay for the cricket season.
Amazing newly built house at walking distance to UOW, bus station and surroundings. Your room will be completely furnished with big built-in wardrobes, queen size bed, ensuite bathroom with enormous shower, working desk and chair, everything just six month old. We are the first tenants as the house was only completed 6 months ago. You will also get access to a private covered parking, wide kitchen with any type of appliance, a big living room with comfortable sofas and much more. Perfect place for students or young professionals looking for a brand new and fresh place to spend at best their time in Wollongong. Minimum stay is 5 months, precisely until the 10th of January. Inbox or contact at my phone number for details and more pictures
I'm from the South of England and I'll be in Wollongong to do a Visiting Research placement for 6 months. I want to see lots of places in Australia and New Zealand while I'm there and I want to be able to surf as much as possible. I love playing sports, mainly hockey and tennis in the UK. I like a nice drink and going out at weekends occasionally.
Looking to make a permanent move to Wollongong from Wagga, as I graduate as a primary teacher at the end of this year and am making the move to further my studies and find work, and am interested in finding someone/people who would be interested in renting a house or apartment. I have lived on a university campus for four years so I am well adjusted to the shared accommodation life. I consider myself easy going, considerate, organised and pretty tidy, and while I do like to have my own time and keep to myself I do wish to be somewhat social and partake in adventures if you wish to join. Also more than happy to share meals and cooking which may be a bonus for you as my cooking isn't half bad. Would love to team up with friendly like minded individuals !
I'm a university student studying Primary Education and am orginally from the central coast. I have a vibrant personality but understand the need for private time and personal space. I am clean, tidy, and looking for somewhere with fun, yet considerate roommates.
We are two friends who are moving to Wollongong to start uni in 2018. Looking for someone who has 2 rooms available in a pre-existing share house, though we are also interested in team ups. We are flexible about the move in date. Being house proud we like a tidy, clean environment and don't want to live in a party house. We are both dog lovers but Alice is deathly allergic to cats, apart from that we are chilled and laid back. Both worked casual jobs for the last 3 years and will both be looking for jobs as soon as we move to Wollongong. Up for dinner and a chat but we keep to ourselves most of the time.
Hi, I'm Asfak. I'm from Bangladesh. Now I'm moving to Australia to join UOW for my Bachelor Degree from February and I need a place to live in. I'm neat and clean, Non smoker and respectful to others as well as their cultures, customs and privacy. I'm free minded and easy to get along with. Looking forward to find a nice place to stay from where I can go to the UOW quickly. PEACE.
We're just two young people looking for some housemates who like BBQs, beaches and binge watching TV series. We moved to Wollongong in September last year, but our lease is nearly up and we would like to move out of our little apartment into a place with a bit more space.. Ideally we are hoping to team up with one or two people (or a couple) and move into a house close to the beach. We're both tidy, respectful and decent cooks (we'd be happy to share the cooking). We like to get outdoors on the weekends, socialise and also have friends come and stay with us from time-to-time. We are currently looking at houses and we'd love to have some flatmates sorted for when we find one and move in! (hopefully mid to late September).
We're a tidy and companionable couple looking to move in together. Jon teaches high school maths and science, and I'm a fulltime marine biology student. We love to have a chat, cook and garden. I have a Jack Russell named Sax, but he has somewhere else to stay if your property can't take dogs. :)
I'm responsible, fun, clean, pay my bills on time. My dog is senior, so he's low energy except for when he wants to play. He's nearly deaf, so doesn't bark at most noises. He sleeps nearly all day. Moving from Orange County, California to attend the University of Wollongong. I wish to have my own bathroom. No children in the home, please.
I'm a huge people person and very active, so I'm always out and about and easy to get along with. I'm conscientious and not afraid to pull my weight around the house, but I'm far from a busy-body. I'm always down for anything, whether it be a chat here and there or an impromptu adventure Hit me up for some dank memes and angry rants about capitalism
Young but mature, Great cook and happy to make little family meals for everyone in the house, very sociable but also likes quiet space from time to time. Clean and tidy. I work 6 days a week so I'm usually out of the house most of the time but I wouldn't mind having drinks with other roomies or little parties every once in a while. I have a little cat names Luna, she's an absolute sweetheart and I'd love to bring her with me if possible. But I'm also open to non pet housing as she lives with my parents at the moment.
I am a very easy going person and keen to make friends. I enjoy spontaneous adventures and enjoy the casual drink or quiet night in. I am clean, tidy and easy to get a long with. I am currently studying full time at uow in an undergrad creative arts degree, so i do like to get some study done. I love to chat as well as i am super friendly, however do enjoy a bit of alone time. I'm a fairly chill person
I've been out of home from 18 where I moved down to the Illawarra from the Central Coast for work. I'm doing University part time studying Computer Science and working Full Time in a cadetship for a local industry. I enjoy having a tidy house in public areas ensuring I don't make a mess or anything that effects other flatmates. I am very social and would enjoy having a couple of drinks making new friends and potentially have the occasional night out. I also make sure to give others space when needed. For sports and recreation I mostly like to surf during summer and snowboard during winter. I currently own some tables, chairs and some kitchenware I can take during the move if required.
