My partner and I are looking for a place to live. We enjoy a good laugh and a chat (but also respect your privacy). About us: I'm studying to be a teacher (early childhood education). I'm originally from Queensland and have traveled a lot before moving to Tasmania. I enjoy anything to do with nature, art and science fiction. Joe works professionally in the disability support sector and studies public health. He likes music, technology and a nice cuppa. He's a true local and has grown up in Hobart. If you're interested please don't hesitate to contact us :)
I am currently studying at UTAS and work casually in the CBD. Looking for people who may be doing the same, or just looking for a reliable and clean housemate. I am also interested in starting a new sharehouse - happy to meet up with people for a bit and see whether you think we'd be good housemates. I do have a cat who will be moving with me! She is very snuggly and generally well behaved, although loves to play. She is socialised with dogs as well! Outside smoker.
I'm a graduate student in geology from Canada coming to Hobart for a month (this July) to do lab work at U Tas. I'll probably be pretty busy but I'm hoping I'll still have time to experience Hobart and the surroundings since this will be my first time in Australia. I'm quiet and tidy, and I don't have pets but I'm ok with living with people that do.
I am a clean, tidy, easy-going person, and respectful of others' privacy. I do not smoke, or drink alcohol-- although, I do not mind to live with someone who does. I normally spend my day either working or staying in my room playing computer game unless my friends are inviting me to go out. I am not an early bird unless it is for work, and I do stay awake until 1 AM on daily basis.
Hi I have recently moved back to Hobart after living here previously during uni. I am employed full-time in the Hobart region as a social worker. I have high standards of cleanliness and consideration and I am looking for a clean and warm place to rent, preferably with off-road parking. I am happy to keep to myself, but also happy to socialise if we share interests. I love food and I am enjoying trying out all the amazing cafes and restaurants Hobart has to offer. I also enjoy exercising (gym, swim, walking, rock climbing, team sports), bush walking, exploring Tasmania, reading and watching movies. I hope to hear from you. Jess
My name is Gundeep and I'm 27 years young male, full time employed as an Assistant manager in Richmond I currently live in Bellerive in a share house but the lease will finishes mid may. I like swimming, gym, cricket and basketball. I consider myself quiet and little shy. I don't mind a drink or two but never been a heavy drinker or party animal. I pay attention to detail in terms of cleaning. I work most of the time and am hardly home. I don't have many visitors if at all. I can provide rental references too if needed. Hope to hear back soon. Thanks 🙂
Hi, I'm Matthew. I'm 28 years old and I enjoy running, salsa dancing, jujitsu, and learning languages. I am currently working full time in Sandy Bay and looking for somewhere to live nearby. I am clean and tidy, and I'm very capable in the kitchen.
My lease runs out at the end of the months but I will not be renewing as moving to the mainland is the target! However work commitments mean I can't leave for 2 months so I am seeking shelter until then! I am a 21 year old site foreman. I have lived with both guys and girls and never had a disagreement to this date! Easy going, just keen to chase the sun!
Hi, my name is Ofek and I am a software engineer / computer programmer. I am originally from Israel. I did my uni studies in Tasmania and finished studying recently and looking for a new place to move into. I am easy to get along with. I have lived with housemates/flatmates for a long time and it was always a good experience. I am looking for a place somewhere in the Hobart region. Preference is a bit outwards from the center, e.g. Mount Nelson, Sandy Bay, West/South Hobart.
I'm new to Tassie. Looking to set up a nice home with good people and get to know Hobart. I love to cook, read, chat and be outdoors. I'm clean, tidy and independent and I pride myself on an ability to get along well with all sorts of folks.
My name is Riley (M, 23) and I have been accepted last minute into a Masters of Music (Conducting) degree at UTAS and am looking for a place to reside. While I don’t have a job in Hobart yet (I’m in Newcastle, NSW) I have plenty of savings and have parents willing to go guarantor for my rent. –I can easily provide proof of both. I will be looking at getting a part-time job in the wine industry since that is my passion after music. Being a musician I will make a bit of noise from time to time but I’ve heard it’s mostly pleasant (I play Sax and Clarinet).
new student of UTAS from China, after years working as a programmer in China, Malaysia and Philippine, now prepared to back to school. cook sometimes, a soccer fan,a traveler who always get along with other people. plus, I'm capable of fixing stuffs like phones and computes, also can do the maintenance job for a car. so anyway, I'm looking for a place 30 minutes drive way from UTAS, and 2 or 3 roommates to share the bill. if you are interested in, let me know.
Hola. Jai here. Chill, relaxed and tidy house mate with heaps of home sharing experience. I am looking for a warm, comfortable, and enjoyable home. I am an outdoorsy type, politically neutral but a bit of a greenie at heart. I enjoy cooking and the occasional shared dinner. A garden or potential space for one would be ace. Happy to help out with projects, chores and anything else you have in mind. Let's chat.
I'm a clean and tidy professional guy. I enjoy having fun and hanging out, but also enjoy quiet down time. All I'm looking for is a clean house and a nice housemate/housemates. My move in date is flexible. Cheers!
Hey guys! I'm moving back to Hobart to study and am looking for somewhere to live. I have lived in share houses for 3 years, so know the ins and outs. I am tidy, like my own company, but don't mind a beverage now and again. Studying Fine Arts, really enjoy movies, food, drinking, music. Will be living in Wollongong until late June so can't come to check places out in person, but can skype or whatever! Receiving Centrelink, and hopefully have a job lined up when I arrive. Definitely interested in teaming up too! Contact me if you have a place!
I have recently moved down to Hobart from Orange NSW for a job promotion to manage a wine laboratory. I have short term accom but am hunting for something long term. Would love to house share with some laid back, fun peeps. I am fairly cruisy, love to socialise and get out and about. Very tidy, honest and reliable. I also have my little dog buddy Lola with me so would need to be in a house with a yard and with people who are animal lovers. One of the perks with living with me is that I bring home lots of free wine 😄 If I sound like someone you would like to bunk up with give me a holla . Cheers, Annie
I'm a 26 y/o stone carver from the UK, I'm looking for a place to live until late July, preferably clean, sociable and not a party house. I have varied interests, but right now I'm mostly reading, cooking, practicing my craft and tripping around Tas
We are a friendly couple who spent time in Tasmania over January - we fell in love with Hobart so have decided to move there! We are looking for a large room or affordable place while we get jobs and find more permanent housing. Claire is from New Zealand and Richard is from Tassie, but currently based in Melbourne. Claire has been working in the arts sector and has an interview coming up at a Hobart museum. We are keen on the outdoors and enjoy chatting about politics, environmental issues and learning about anything and everything! Claire speaks Spanish and Richard is learning.
