I am an energetic person who loves the outdoors, staying active and reading a good book. I try to live a reasonably sustainable lifestyle and would prefer to live with people who share or respect these values. I am clean, tidy and like to sit around for a casual wine and communal meal every now and then.
Hi! I'm a 25 year old studying Ancient History at UTAS. I'm looking for a new long-term rental as my current landlord has decided to sell at end of my lease. I am pretty laid-back, respectful, quiet, tidy, friendly but introverted (I tend to read or watch Netflix) I would love a place where people are around in the evenings to catch up. I love books and movies/tv shows (particularly horror and fantasy/sci-fi!) history, pizza and having the odd drink of a good cider. I don't drive, so good access to public transport is a priority
Respectful, Clean and tidy, have had experience in other share houses living with different men and women. Possibly will be out of the house a lot working while uni has yet to start I have lived in Tasmania about two or three months now, moved from Newcastle. Living and working around Cygnet but looking to relocate up to Hobart to start a new uni degree next year in Feb. I mainly work in the kitchen at the Red Velvet Lounge in Cygnet but have also been doing some work for art classes in and around Hobart.
Hi there, we are Laura and Henry! We are both from Hobart originally, but have been living in Adelaide for the last 6 years for study and work. Henry is a Vet (domestic animals), Laura is a scientist (genetic research). We are both friendly and social people, who enjoy hanging out, watching movies, sharing a meal and a few beers, but we are not looking for a party house as we both get up early for work/study full time. We like to keep our space clean and tidy but are not neat freaks. We are respectful, mindful and generally pretty quiet, though we love to have a discussion or share a story over a bottle of wine every now and then. Our hobbies include reading and discussing books, gaming (video and tabletop), hiking, camping, cooking and catching up with friends. We both love animals and like living with them so long as they are well trained and friendly. We both have family in Hobart, so we are pretty much guaranteed to be out of the house at least two nights a week visiting them. We have a lot of our own furniture which we are happy to use communally, including book shelves, wine rack, fire pit, TV (its not very big), Xbox, washing machine, and a full kitchen including microwave, slow cooker, kettle ect.
Hey there, I'm Henny a 30 year old female looking for a sharehouse. I am returning to Hobart after spending the past year living in Perth. I previously lived in West Hobart for 3 years where I lived in a sharehouse with some great roomies. Looking for a relatively social house but not a party house, just somewhere that everyone gets along and we can share the odd bevvie after a long working week.

Lovely home. Relaxed atmosphere. (Short term only- From Dec.10-28 ) Good for summer vacation or you're still looking for perfect long term room.I reccomend that you could stay here first to know what area you like in Hobart.) Location is great. Less than 5 minute drive to North Hobart. 10 minute drive to the city. 3-5 minute walk to bus stop. 30 minute bus commute to UTAS. Walking distance to grocery store and 5-10 minute drive to Woolworths, Coles and K-Mart. Very convenient location on a lovely street. Giblin Street Home Guidelines Respect. It is crucial that everyone at home feels respected and comfortable. This is necessary for maintaining a calm and relaxed home environment. Privacy Be considerate of each others personal space. Bedrooms are off-limits to other housemates unless invited to enter. When people are in their own room and have their door closed, avoid disturbing them for non-urgent matters. Noise Keep noise to a minimum between 10pm and 9am. Quiet time during these hours ensures everyone is able to try to relax and/or get rest/sleep in a calm and peaceful environment. Each Other Respect the time and energy of others. This is very important. Be considerate of others. Though everyone at home is kind and accommodating it is important to give each other space. Be mindful to not make too many requests or demands of another, of their time and energy. Cleanliness. Maintaining a clean living environment is important to me, particularly in communal areas. Kitchen Wash your dishes once finished using. Especially items like pots or pans which others may need to use as well. If in a hurry and you don’t have time to wash up before you leave the house, just make sure your dishes aren’t left in the sink overnight. Wipe the benches/stove top/table/sink after using. Bathroom Dry any wet areas of the floor with the floor towel/s after showering. Remove any of your hair from the drain that might have accumulated there after washing hair. Toilet Check to make sure it’s clean after using, especially during period time. Leave the door open after use so that others know that no one is inside. Garbage/Recycling Full garbage bags – from any of the bins – are to be placed in the smaller green wheelie bins out in the front yard. When the recycling box out the back is full, the items are to be placed in the wheelie bin with the yellow lid also out in front yard. Pups. This is his home too and it’s important we keep the home safe for him. He’s an integral part of the home. ALWAYS ensure the front door is locked and fully closed if leaving the house so that he doesn’t get out. Don’t leave any foods or medicines in places where he might be able to get to and consume them. He’s very good at sniffing out food so keep it stored safely away.

Hi. We have recently moved from Melbourne, currently staying with family. We are looking for a room to rent anywhere in the Hobart region. We have a 2 year old cat named Sonic. We are good at keeping the house clean and garden maintenance. We are respectful of others and their space and are quiet.
Easy going working professional looking for a place to relax / unwind after work. Enjoy good food and banter. Am respectful, clean and tidy. Have recently relocated to Hobart from Sydney for work. I look forward to meeting new people and am looking forward to the opportunity to meet new people in this beautiful city. Regards Andrew
I am a female Brazilian living in Melbourne for the past 6 years, moving to Hobart due to a job offer. I am married with 3 furry kids, but I am moving by myself, at least for the first year. I am completely passionate about animals! I am a shift worker (12.5 hours, up to 5 times a weeks, including evenings). I consider myself an excellent cooker and an even better wine drinker! lol I am very fun, organised and clean. I am looking for a short term accommodation until I find a definitive place.
I am 30 and a full time shift worker at the Royal. I enjoy the great outdoors and generally have a pretty busy schedule. Having said that, I do like to think of myself as easy going, tidy and considerate. I have a small friend called Kate (cat) and she is 6, fully house trained and an absolute little champ.
Hi I'm Santon I'm currently a PhD student at UTAS and I am looking for a place to stay while I complete my studies. I'm easy going and friendly and tend to respect others and their space.
We are 3 female friends, either studying, working part time or full time. We are bubbly and social but also respectful of others space and we are both clean and organised. We range from 19-21years old. One working in childcare, one studying and working at the airport and the other also working at the airport. Looking at suburbs around the city. Open to either male or females of any age, looking for one person to move into a 4 bedroom house with us. We look forward to hearing from you!
My name is Jake and I'm an apprentice chef at Templo in Hobart. I'm a quiet individual who spends most of my time either working, exercising or sleeping. I'm an avid ocean explorer who goes kayaking and diving all throughout the summer period looking for delicious fish and abalone to eat. I'm looking at selling my car and moving closer to where I'm working so I can ride or walk and live a bit of a healthier lifestyle. I can provide a glowing recommendation from my current real estate agent where I have never been late on rent and kept my place in immaculate condition.
Hi there, My name is Paul. I am 29 years old. I have relocated to Hobart to study at UTAS. I'm quiet, tidy and like to keep to myself. I'm easy to get along with. I enjoy gardening, reading, cooking. I can supply references upon request. Thanks :)
We are heading to Tassie where Jono will work at UTas and Rachel will find work in coffee or sustainable fashion. We are both from the US, and are fishermen in Alaska during the Northern Hemisphere summer (we were also both in charge of cooking and dishes for the crew, a good idea of how we work together) Thus, we have earned our yearly pay seasonally, and have a financially sound buffer. We’re hikers. Jono is a climber. Clean, friendly, and mindful. Our party days are over, but each of us happen to love a good bevvy!
I am quiet and considerate of others. I spend most of my time working or in the gym. I don't drink or smoke. I cook alot though. I am currently in North Hobart and my lease runs until February so perhaps I could join preferably 2 other flatmates in leasing a property closer to that date?
I'm friendly, considerate, respectful and cooperative. I'm from Adelaide and plan on moving to Tasmania early next year for an honours degree in environmental science. I am also vegan and love tea :)
Hey! I'm relocating to Hobart to start uni in 2019 and looking for a room. I love to read a lot, so I'm a quiet person but enjoy socialising as well. I also love getting outdoors going hiking/camping, and stargazing. I'm a friendly, considerate, and clean person.
So, I came to this beautiful state from over West a year ago and am looking to round up a posse of good peeps to establish a sharehome that's comfortable and fun to live at. I'm currently looking to rent a house for at least 12 months - I'd love something a bit of a yard and some space. I work at the Uni and would like to live quite close by there, so I'm thinking South Hobart and Sandy Bay. I love cooking, hanging out, and chilling. I HAVE been known to party, and I tend to do that outside my place, but am not adverse to having a bbq on a sunny day or a few drinks while chilling at home ;) I'm pretty easy-going and enjoy having a clean and welcoming environment in which to live. I get on well with most people; my family had a Portuguese restaurant back in Ireland, so I've been exposed to different nationalities from all around the world since I've been a little kid. I've built a rich and full life for myself here in Hobart and would like to live with warm and happy people who appreciate having a lovely space in which to chill. If this sounds good to you, then hit me up :) Stace
Hey! I'm a 24 years old Dutch girl who has been travelling for two years now and wanting to settle down in Hobart for 7 months(May 2019). I will be working full-time in hospitality so you won't see me often, although if I'm off I like to do stuff and discover places! I love my morning yoga and meditations, so if there is a outside area would be amazing but not necessary as I'll find a place for that. I love to cook, especially Asian food! If you have a room available you will be life saver, as I'm still in a hostel right now and I can't do this any longer.
It may seem crazy to be looking so early but as they say "the early bird catches the worm". I'm so hoping it will be the case and that I find a great place to live! I'm friendly, social but am also respectful of my housemates and their time home. I have reputation at work for always having delicious homemade food! I’m an avid commuter cyclist and I’m hoping to get a new bicycle once I have settled so I can explore my new home. I’m relocating from Bristol in the UK where I work as scrub nurse to work at the Royal Hobart Hospital in the same role. I really enjoy my job and I’m excited at what the future holds for me in my new job and home. I can provide the usual references from both previous housemates and landlords if you would like them. I look forward to hearing from you.
