I'm from Sri Lanka and recently got Australian PR and moving to Tasmania. I'm looking for a place to live for 2-3 months and based on where I get work, even longer.
We are a professional couple in our late 20's who have just moved to Hobart, and are hoping to find a home in an existing sharehouse, or team up with other like minded adults to start a sharehouse. We have been living together in a 9 person sharehouse in San Francisco, and have many years experience with community living and like to be social and share meals with our housemates. We also like keeping a very clean, organised and well-run home. Veronica is an Australian returning home after 10 years living and studying in the US to start an research position at CSIRO studying the Southern Ocean. Outside of work Veronica likes cooking and baking, sewing, yoga, and growing veggies. Daniel is a software engineer from the US who has worked at various space startups and will be doing software consulting and writing open source software in Hobart. He likes hobby electronics, open source software, and gaming. We both like to run, hike, backpack, and travel and are really excited to explore the Tassie bush on weekends. We are flexible about when we are available to move in so send us a message if you are interested in teaming up or have a room available.
Hi, we are Chisato and Hiro from Japan and England. I work in disability support and Chisato works in massage therapy. We're considerate of other people's space, and also like to have a chat when it suits others. We're clean and tidy and prompt with payments(:

Just up the road from the iconic North Hobart restaurant strip and public transport, a short bicycle ride away from the CBD, nestled close to Knocklofty and within walking distances to HIll St grocer and the West Hobart butcher... Unmetered street parking is available, and there is dual access from Cato Avenue and Valley St. Bills (internet, gas, electricity, water) are included, but excesses will be shared amongst housemates. The house is partially furnished. The rooms are spacious and cosy blank slates with built in robes (you will need to organise a bed, this can be organised a week before moving in if more convenient), so you can put your own personality into the decor.
Standard sized fully furnished room (can be unfurnished if required) available NOW in a two bedroom home in Giblin Street, Lenah Valley. Home is fully furnished with all essentials, there is also a small fully fenced yard which will eventually house a dog. Short walk to Lenah Valley shopping precinct and bus stop. Rent includes water, moderate use of household consumables (TP, washing powder, etc.), and high speed internet. Power bills will be split equally. You will need to sign a lease till the 31.10.18 (with a possiblity to extend), and provide bond (4 weeks rent). Pets considered (unfortunately no cats or large dogs), couples considered but rent will be adjusted accordingly. I like to meet potential candidates in person before showing them the house, so If you are interested please send me a message with a bit about yourself and we'll organise something from there.
We currently have a large, bright bedroom available for rent in a fully furnished house. We are located just off Augusta road on a quiet little street behind Calvary hospital. The house has a well equipped kitchen, sun room, separate lounge and bathroom with bath/shower. It has been newly painted with new kitchen fittings and new floor boards throughout. We also have a large fenced backyard with fruit trees. We are a short 10 minute walk to North Hobart shops, restaurant and bars and a 5 minute walk to Lenah valley cafes and shops and main bus stops. Don't stress! I have sharp scissors.
I am a nice and tidy person, I will always keep my area clean and will contribute to anything sort of housework that needs to be done. I am social, easy going and well presented. I also love being apart of some sort of family.

Hey I'm the the easiest flatmate, easy going, love to cook, love art, love a beer now and again, always clean and tidy, consciously considerate and respectful of my flatmate/ friends belongings, space and wellbeing, super young in heart and mind haha to a degree, you're going to love me! Xx
Outgoing, sensible, average cook but always keen to try. Work will keep my busy so not looking for a party house. Have a 75" tv and a household of furniture and netflix. Either looking for a room with like minded people or to start a new place together with a person or couple. Females preferred sorry boys however I find them much cleaner and more respectful. Looking to move in around the 18th of April. Thanks Nick
Hi! I'm Vivian. I'm moving down to Hobart to open a new store with my current company, and I'm looking for somewhere for me and my gorgeous dog Mia to stay. I'm a super relaxed housemate who works a lot, my family lives in Tasmania, so i'll be off most weekends hanging out with them, and I love to keep my house clean, and I make some seriously delicious baked goods. Not vegan, not a massive party animal, but definitely fine with a social house.
We are backpackers from Singapore on a working holiday in Tasmania. As students, we are on a tight budget so we’re trying to cut cost as much as possible. We have many experiences living alone and managing house chores. You can rest assured that we will keep the house clean at all times, in during our stay and even as we leave. Hope to see you in Hobart and share with you about our lives as travellers from another country :-)
