I'm a bubbly uni student, whilst I love to go out and have fun with mates I am quite happy to stay home and keep to myself. I have 4 guineapigs but they are kept in a cage & make no impact on anyone else in the house.
My housemate is moving out of our sharehouse and so we're looking for someone new to join us! Those are the windows to your room.) ;) A new 12-month lease will be signed early March so we are ideally looking for someone who plans to stay for at least a year. My housemate will be moving out some time from mid-March to mid-April; for the right housemate we can work out a date that suits. The house is on North Lake Road in Myaree and is close to both Fremantle and the City with a number of nearby bus routes travelling to either (a city bus leaves metres from the front door). It is also walking distance from an IGA which is very convenient. The house is only a few years old so it is in excellent condition with a very easy-to-care-for garden (mostly astroturf). It has ducted refrigerative air conditioning, so no sweating through summer! We also get a cleaner in each fortnight so the place is well looked after. It is 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom, the soon-to-be-vacant room is upstairs sharing a bathroom with 2 others. Rent is currently $322 a fortnight for this room, though this may go even lower with the new lease. As long as you have a newer car than two housemates you get a carport bay. Before moving in you will need to be interviewed by at least some of the current housemates and then the landlady. My housemate has had nothing but positive experiences with the landlady and the rest of us (ummm so he says), so that shouldn’t be a stumbling point. My names Rose and I'm a 25 year old marketing professional. I've came back from travelling for the past year and am beginning my new job in Fremantle in March (mon-fri). Currently I'm just renting a room at a friend's in Warwick but looking to move before I commence my new job as the commute would be too far each day. Hi friends :) We have a room opening up at the end of feb, just in time for the beginning of semester. We're looking for a third housemate (no preference on gender) to join us for the semester and potentially the year. Vibe of the house is chill but social. A bit about the house: 10mins to Murdoch, 15mins to Curtin by car. Bus goes straight to curtin less than 5 min walk from our house. Rooms are on the smaller side but can comfortably fit a queen bed and study desk setup. Social areas are kept tidy but we're not too pedantic about it, you're just expected to clean up after yourself like a normal adult. We have a reasonably social house, there will be friends over most nights however it's always a relaxed vibe and we keep it quiet. We also enjoy hosting parties here and there but we try to be as respectful to our neighbours as possible. We enjoy causing trouble as a household but we also respect that everyone needs their own time and your room is your space, no-one will enter without your permission but we expect the same etiquette. House comes fully furnished (but we do have room), internet and bills not included in rent but split evenly.
Ample space for lots of activities with a large kitchen. House is air conditioned, and have a bigger collection of tv shows than you can imagine. NBN starting here in march, so ample internet. Nice and close to fremantle and murdoch for any university students. A handful of great cafes in the area, as we all enjoy our coffee in the morning. Other perks include, there often being free donuts in the fridge.
