We are Damien and Paul, and we are looking for a new home. We have been in a relationship for more than 5 years, across different continents, through different study and employment stages, and life stages. Damien works as a lawyer, but is also a very caring and friendly person. He teaches piano, and has a small piano in the home. Paul is a talented designer, currently balancing working remotely for an overseas company with developing a career locally. We like exercise, weekend trips, good food and RuPaul’s Drag Race. We also like to sleep 7-8 hours a night so no weekday parties. We don’t do parties anyway, but prefer dinner with friends, or to go out to a bar and maybe have a dance. At the moment we are living in Canberra and without housemates for the first time. We take a lot of pride in our home, we have some quality furniture and and we aim to make our next home as ‘homely’ as this one. We have many years of sharehouse experience, and through this we have learnt to be respectful of others, to deal well with conflict, and to know how to take care of ourselves and those with whom we share space. We are looking to find a place (either 2 bed + study or a 3 bed), with relatively modern fixtures. We have a car and a few tools (because we are handy around the house), so we would ideally like a garage or shed. We would love to live near to the beach or the harbour, or somewhere central to the inner west, although we are flexible. We have seen some good places as far west as Concord, and we would also consider as far north as Lane Cove to Castlecrag. Perhaps as far south as Wolli Creek / Turrella and Maroubra. We are looking to share with either one or two others, depending on the size and price of the properties we find. We are open to who we live with (students / employed / etc). Please get in touch if you think you might like to live with us, and we can see if we could get along. Paul & Damien

An expat returning to Australia from living in London over the past 2 years. I am moving back to Australia with my existing company and will be working full time from the North Sydney office. I arrive back in to Australia approx. the 2nd/3rd May. I enjoyed flat sharing immensely during my time in London and have lived mainly with females and LGBT+ flatmates. I am clean, conscientious, happy and open. I love to cook, spend time with my flatmates (inside and outside the flat), play sport (Soccer/Football and Ultimate Frisbee), listen and play music, and explore everywhere. Can provide contact details for reference from previous flatmate if required.
I am a final year uni student who also teaches on a casual basis. I am looking to move out of home for a fresh change. I believe I am easy going, clean, helpful and respectful, but I do enjoy being social and having a good night out with friends. I also enjoy playing sport i.e. netball as well as dancing :)
Hey all my name's Matt, I'm a 23 y/o kiwi moving to Sydney from Christchurch for work in the city. Looking for a private room, max rent $300 and preferably long term with easy access to a train station :) Ready to move in ASAP. About me: Recently graduated from Marketing and Economics and starting my career in Marketing in Sydney CBD. I enjoy Netflix, exercising, snow skiing, watching cricket/rugby, hanging out at the beach and playing with dogs (so even better if you have one). I'm recently new to Sydney so any recommendations on Cafes/bars or activities are always welcome. What i can bring as a housemate: Average banter, willing to watch trashy tv with you and secretly love it, known to be able to cook a decent meal. I have lived in a share house previously and am understanding of expectations and keeping up to date with bills. I am clean, tidy and respectful of privacy but also happy to have a beer or 3 if you are. I will be working Monday- Friday business hours so will be out of the house most days and travelling to Newcastle some weekends to see my partner. Let me know if you think I would be a good fit to your place, Cheers, Matt
I am a friendly guy working full time as a Software Engineer at hipages. I completed my Bachelors degree a couple of years back and moved to Australia recently. I value privacy and peace of mind. I am originally from Sri Lanka, but I am also half European. (My grandfather was Dutch). I can speak both English and Sinhalese fluently. I could say I am an extremely organized and clean person who is always in a calm and pleasant mood. In fact, I am a person who enjoys allocating a part of my daily routine to clean and organize my living place. I love to have friendly conversations with people without disturbing their privacy nor freedom. I'd like to get to know people from all over the world. I am an open minded person in the sense, I can and I try to understand the differences in people's personalities. Thus I would say it is quite pleasant for anyone to be around me.
Easy going, clean, responsible, reliable, considerate, respectful, private. I am away 3 to 4 days a week, so house or flat is mostly to yourself. I am an outside smoker only. Willing to pay an extra for flat mate to feed my precious cat whilst I am away. A significant other used to do this for me.
Hey guys and gals, I'm Jill. I'm in my 30s and looking to team up with 2 or more people who are wanting to split the rent on a 3 bedroom townhouse or home or for rooms in an existing set up to be closer to work (St Leonards) or the Uni of Sydney. I am looking for a larger room in an art deco style bungalow or cottage home, preferably with space for washing line and maybe a balcony to watch the occaisional sunset from. I like to grow my own tomatoes and herbs and cook a couple times a week, I love spaghetti and curry and all different types of food so I will spend time in the kitchen when I am at home so it is important that there is space for that. My ideal home is well loved, relaxing and clean. As a flat mate, I like to think I am considerate of common spaces and clean as I go. I don't mind to socialise on occaision, but generally I juggle a lot through the week so won't be up to party. I am self employed and studying at Sydney Uni part time by distance so I will be out most days then back at around 5-6pm then studying at night. I would prefer to live with other likeminded girls. I am considering anywhere close to Sydney Uni and with good transport to St Leonards would work, as would Five Dock, Russel Lea, Leichhardt, Glebe or even Marrickville --all the way to Canterbury Hurlstone Park area. I am also up for sharing with more than 4 people to save on rental costs as long as I get to meet you and know more about you, the aim of sharing is to save money after all. I have also thought about finding a new rental property - if you share the same sentiments for housing and would be interested in a team up, please let me know. I would like to live with people who are positive, friendly, and can appreciate a good bit of dry humor. I have travelled a lot and lived in the UK where I worked for a time so am used to sharing a place. Some people have contacted me about going into their homes that they are not living in - I would prefer to correspond with the people I would be living with rather than move into a place where I have not met the other room mates. I also have a small car and would need parking or off street parking. Please drop me a line if you think we'd get along. I am house sitting at the moment so not in any great rush but would like to be all moved in by April 30th.
I’m an easygoing and clean person who works as a high school teacher. I love to make new friends and have a good time with my flatmates as well as spending time by myself. (I recently rescued a cute tabby kitten called Porkins. He’s well trained and loves a belly scratch plus a big purrer. So, we are kind of a package now)
Hi housemates! I'm from Barcelona and I am a geologist, currently employed as a postdoc (full-time researcher) at Macquarie Univeristy. I'm very open-minded, friendly and I like meeting people from other cultures. I'm active, I like doing outdoor activities over the weekend (diving, climbing, caving, hiking) and travelling, but during the week I'm pretty relaxed and I enjoy spending the evenings chatting with my housemates, reading, watching movies or playing board games. I have been living in Sydney for more than 3.5 years now, always sharing a house, so I'm very used to it and you'll have no complain about me, since I'm a very clean and easy-going girl. My landlady and housemates will confirm both! To be honest, I'm extremely sad to leave my current place and my friends who have become my Australian family for the last 3 years. Unfortunately my landlady is renovating half of the house and I have no option but to find somewhere else to stay. I'm looking for a room in a clean and tidy house to stay for a full year (or teamup for a new place), with nice and sociable housemates (not really crazy parties in the house though, I have to be able to rest during the week!). Obviously no need to say that I'll definitely respect your privacy (and I hope that you will as well), because I think it's essential. I would like to live with people who are happy to do activities together and share some meals from time to time. In other words, I'm not interested in a place where my housemates spend almost all the evening in their rooms... I would like to have a place that I truly feel like HOME. I'm looking forward to meeting you!
I'm an easy to get along with, patient and courteous person how is looking for a new place to call home. I like to keep my living space really clean and organised with no clutter. I'm a huge move buff so I'd be good for trivia nights.

I'm a software consultant in my early thirties. I like to keep myself busy both during weekdays and weekends engaged in one or the other activities. I love a clean house, a good conversation; awesome food; eating out and also like to cook sometimes, and occasional cool off time. I have a good sized bedroom (spacious enough for a king bed with bedside tables on either side) with built in wardrobes in a 2 bed 2 bath apartment in St. Leonards, just a stone's throw from the station. The double-layered glass windows help keep the place reasonably quiet. The kitchen and the living room are furnished (dishwasher, oven, gas kitchen, microwave, washing machine, dryer, couch, TV and a few plants). You only need to bring stuff for your bedroom. Or I can provide you with a bed if you prefer. You are welcome to bring in your small items if you want, (decorative, chairs and stuff); although, there is not much room for larger items like a couch. There is a large TV with Netflix in the living room. There is also a gym and a pool with a hot tub in the building. I'm looking for an easy going person. I love my place and want someone who would care for it as their own. It's not a party house, although I like to have friends over for lunch/dinner/wine at times. You can play the host too if and when you want. The rent is 400 per week all inclusive (Rent/Electricity/Gas/Netflix (or Amazon prime)/Internet - NBN) paid two weeks in advance and the security deposit is again two weeks rent. The place is available until early December. Give me a ring if you like what you read and we'll arrange for you to see the place.
Very easy going and fair, clean and tidy, health and fitness minded, quite and respectful professional. Enjoy socialising with house mates and helping out with everything. Keen cyclist and some experience with computer programming with 446 language. Open to learning new things.
Hey I'm Collins. I'm a full time professional working in HR for Health. Generally I'm a really chill, easy going and laid back person. I have a high tolerance for most things and think I'm really easy to live with! I'm clean and tidy and enjoy the company of other people. Hoping to find a place close to public transport.
I'm neat, friendly, easy going and respectful. I work full time and study in my free time. I live in Asquith right now with two girls enjoying our own private space while chilling with each other sometimes and watch movies and chat as well. But I need to move to a place close to City and train station cause I use public transportation. I'm social and I like to meet new people :)
Hey, I'm Damian! I’m a 21-year-old architecture student looking for a place to rent. Aside from uni, I work at an architecture firm, and tutor high school students on weekends. I’m clean, organised, and responsible, and I'm a non-smoker. I like my own downtime but wouldn’t mind getting to know and hanging out with my flatmates. I particularly love to cook and bake (if I can find the time) and watching movies and TV. Looking forward to meeting and living with some cool people!
Work long hours, quiet and respectful of other people's lives. That said, happy to socialise with my housemates or leave them to their own devices. Move date is approx. I am in no hurry. Please do not message me if you live significantly outside the areas I have in my profile - I looking to live close to the city for work purposes.
I am quite a calm person, I spend most of my time working, at Uni (studying audio engineering) or relaxing, listening to music and reading books.
Hi there, I am Nidhi (27yrs Female) working in IT company. Looking for a personal room for stay. I am a happy to go lucky person. I am sociable person, but also respect personal space. I'm a part-time worker in a dispute resolution team in a call centre, and I'm studying my Masters at Macquarie University part-time. I'm fairly busy, but when I have spare time I train in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I love watching different TV shows when I can, such as Game if Thrones or The Office. Looking to move into a place for at least 4-6 months, possibly longer. Flexible as to when I can move in - but would prefer sooner rather than later. I love meeting new people and socialising, but I also enjoy my down time/alone time when I am at home, as it is generally my time to relax and unwind.
We are both working professionals (techer and IT project manager), I (Nic) am from wollongong and Jodie is from hurstville, we like to get out an explore, either gallery's or nature. We are out and about every weekend.
