Hello.. Im looking to rent a piece of property next to a house, for my small tidy registered caravan. Must have access to power, & wifi (if available). As i will be living in it. Also have use of the bathroom for daily shower and laundry for once a week washing. Preferably parking on concrete or a hard surface. Under cover is a bonus. Also happy to do farm work in exchange for accommodation. Please mail me if you have anything suitable and want to make some extra cash weekly. Working, non smoker. All properties and areas in Queensland considered as I want to travel around. Can pay $50- $100 a week for space & bills. Looking at two months stay, however could be longer. I live a quiet, healthy lifestyle. I like horse riding, hiking and swimming. (pool would be fantastic) .. Thanks in advance everyone 😊
- Large two-storey house - Close to the beach (one street back from esplanade) - Fully furnished, including available room (contains king-single ensemble) so no furniture required, however this is negotiable - Pool with barbecue area - Built in wardrobe - Private bedroom downstairs with bathroom - NBN - Fully air-conditioned - Gas bill included in rent - Other household bills (electricity, internet) split between tenants - Bond is negotiable
This house is located within walking distance to the beach in Pallarenda, about 2 blocks away from the strand. You will have your own room with your own bathroom, toilet and shower on the bottom floor of the house. The other 3 housemates have rooms upstairs. The house is very well maintained, has a pool, and all the necessary things needed to get by, such as a fridge, washing machine etc. There is internet but it is an additional 17.50 per month. And the only other additional bill is electricity which comes every 3 months. If you have any other questions or would like to view the house, don't hesitate to ask or send me a message.
Sharehouse close to north Ward rock pool and barracks. Cute garden and patio area. Easygoing flat mates living in a house not a home. Eco and queer friendly and keen for people wanting to exercise, garden, cook or take time out to ourselves and come back together. Students or backpackers welcome. Spare room for friends or family when they come to visit. Share house work and bills. No pool but close enough to strand pool that no problems. Room size is medium. Lock up shed. Internet and electricity $20 week per person.
Walking distance to the Strand and rockpool. Across is the Park. Great for swimming, climbing and out door activities. Close to the city. Quiet neighbourhood. Two split airconditionings, lockup garage
Permanently separated, about to settle, found work in Townsville and looking to resettle. I play music, love to laugh, love to be social but also respect privacy and space. I am almost always smiling and believe in being positive! Will be doing shift work in Disability Care on a Casual basis but will have 30 hours a week or more. Will most likely have a period of being in two places until settlement. I presently live in Forrest Beach. I do have 2 sausage dogs but they will not be with me except for possible visits. I am tidy and just need to find a friendly place to start my life over.
I am a Danish engineering student, going for a semester in Townsville (2. period 2017). Looking for a place to stay during my study period. I am easy going and prefer social flatmates, but also respect a closed door. Contact me if you want to know more.
We are three Norwegian students going on an exchange semester to James Cook University in Townsville and are looking for a place to stay. We are kind and respectful people who love joking around and have fun, but can also appreciate a calm and relaxing environment. We love socialising and meeting new people and can't wait to get started with the semester in Townsville. It's going to be an adventure, and we'll get memories for life, maybe even with you? :)
We live a bit out away from the center at the moment, and wanna see what is available closer to the strand. We are a couple in our start 30's, 1 works full time now, and 1 part time. We want to live closer to the strand, to easier be able to take part in the different things that happens in town.
Hi there! I'm relocating to Townsville and looking for a place to live (duh!). I'm 26, originally from Adelaide but have moved around different remote areas in SA, QLD, WA and NT the last few years. My next move is to Townsville, where I'll be working for a community service based on Palm Island. I'm very outgoing and spontaneous, and love getting out and exploring new places, getting involved in my community but equally happy to chill at home with Netflix and a wine. I'm a big animal lover and have 2 dogs that live with my parents in Adelaide. I've lived in share housing for six years, so comfortable with sharing house work and bills, etc. What I'm looking for: I'm very flexible but ideally the following: own bathroom, WIR or BIR, car space, close-ish to Townsville City/airport area. I have some kitchen stuff, but I've sold all my furniture, so any furniture provided would be a bonus! :)
I have just moved out to Australia to start a new job as a residential Youth worker. I am an outdoorsy person and to be fair will hardly be at the accommodation. I am clean and tidy and looking for somewhere decent to rest my head, preferably near the coast to go fishing haha.
I am fairly sociable, but will often keep to my self. I am neat and tidy, pay on time and have lived both by myself and with flatmates for over ten years. I will be spending most of my time at work and will mainly just sleep there.
Hi! My name is Natascha. I am a Danish student studying at the University of Southern Denmark. From July to November, 2017, I am studying a semester at JCU in Townsville. I am 22 years old, and moved out of my parents house at the age of 19, thus I am used to take responsibilities. I am very organized and hope that my housemates appreciate clean surroundings as well. I hope to meet new people and get a lot of great experiences during my stay. And it would be nice to live with someone who is social, but still respects a closed door once in a while. My preferences: I look for a place to live near the city or JCU, preferably with other students or people in the age range of approximately 20-30. The house (and room) needs to be furnished, since I will not be able to bring my own things from Denmark. And it would be great if my potential room did not have a carpet, since I am allergic to dust. It is a plus, but not a must if there is a pool ;) When arriving in Townsville on July 12. I have booked a room for a week, thus giving me time to visit potential housemates before making a commitment. Feel free to message me with details of the room, if you think that I could be a potential housemate, and let's set up a meeting.
Hello! We are a very respectful couple that are looking for a new home in Townsville. I will be doing my PhD at JCU and my partner will work in town. We are very clean and like to live with someone that is also that way. We do not smoke. We like privacy but also enjoy socialising with housemates and friends. Hope to hear from you soon Best regards Jessica
Moving to Townsville in late June / early July for a job in Education for a six month contract. Quiet and able to keep to myself, but happy for social hangouts and drinks on the odd weekend. Active and studious - HPE teacher but also music qualified, so will spend some free time keeping in practice with those fields. Tend to spend my weekdays preparing work. Clean and tidy - regularly clean, at minimum will always keep up with the amount of cleaning as the person I live with. Would ideally live with just one other person who's also working full time. Not compatible with regular party goers sorry! Can provide some things if needed, such as: - Washing machine - Fridge - TV - Game consoles (don't play often) - Netflix Account with second profile - General furniture (happy to throw out if not needed) Ideal place would have air con, secure parking and a second bathroom - flexible on this though.
Hello there! My name is Anna and I am a Danish girl going to Townsville for my semester abroad at JCU. I am clean, easy to live with, quite social, and love being outdoors. During my semester, I obviously need to pass all exams, but my main focus will be getting great experiences and meeting new people. Therefore, I hope to end up in a house were my housemates and I can be social at times while having the privacy to study at other times. As I moved out of my parents' house when I was 20, I am able to live by myself and cope with everyday challenges. I am looking for a share house that is already furnished, since I am unable to bring furniture. The location should be with easy access to uni and the city, either by bike or public transport. Pool is a plus, but not a must ;-) I arrive in Townsville on June 12, and have booked a room for the first week, leaving me time for visiting potential housemates before making a commitment. If you are looking for a new housemate during semester 2 this year, feel free to message me the details of your room, and we might be able to set up a meeting for when I am in town.
