I am looking for a male or female to team up with and begin a new share house, I am looking to move within 4 weeks and I would love to find the ideal housemate. I would ideally be booking in to view homes this week and fortnight, it would be great if we could both view them together but we may have to view the homes separately and apply together. Anyone interested I would like meet me out for coffee and a discussion. About me: I'm 21 in January, I work part time to full time hours at woolworths, I work weekend days and some weekdays, i am earning a stable income and i'll be studying a cert 3 in disability in 2018 two days per week. I have no pets and I've rented in sharehouses before. I have most essentials to fill a house with such as a brand new washing machine, vacuum cleaner and various kitchen and bathroom items, and the rest I shall be purchasing upon moving in and the ideal housemate would want to contribute their own things and help make it a home. I love music of all kinds, I play guitar I love art and opshopping, my furniture and decorations are colourful mostly from ishka or various second hand items and I would describe myself as somewhat of a hippy, I'm a very tidy person, I'm laid back girl I enjoy an occasional joint or a few drinks/ having friends over from time to time, but Im somewhat of an introvert so love my personal space. I love the idea of being able to hang out with a housemate and watch a few films /play some games/go shopping together on the odd occasion. I'm a heavy sleeper I don't care about how loud your music is, how late you cook dinner or how late you stay up/get home I am easy going- as long as you are courteous, respectful, and reliable! I am looking for someone to live with who is happy to share a house and make it a home and help contribute items of furniture to the home. I want to live in a relaxed, clean and happy environment, someone who is looking to stay for 6m-1 year. i don't have any 'rules' except that my potential housemate cleans up after themselves, either has a job, studies or both. Must pay rent ON time, must be willing to go on the lease, I'd love to hear back from any body (1 or 2 people) who are looking to move out and begin their own share house with me, thanks lovelies!
Isa good older boy! None smoker, none alcohol drinker. Tidy. Won't bother anyone else in the house. Need some kitchen time for breakfast everyday and dinner a few nights a week. Need somewhere to stay November 22th to December 18th. I work nearly everyday in my own business 8 to 3. So Win/Win!
Working full time so want to move out of home closer to work, easy going and respectable. on weekends I often go out for brunch, workout or go out for a few bevs. would prefer people around the same age.
I study Law and Criminology at Deakin, I’m from Ballarat and have just moved to Geelong this year. I’m very clean and tidy, and like to look after the house. I’m also down for a drink or two and love to have a good time and go on adventures. I prefer not to live with any pets - as I have a phobia of dogs.
The house: Modern, easy to clean, tidy 3 bedroom house. Close to public transport, large living spaces and a nice outdoor area. Share a bathroom with one other. Facilities such as washing machine, fridge, kitchen appliances, etc provided. The room: Medium sized, can fit a double bed and a desk in it. Or a queen bed and some bookshelves/TV stand. Large inbuilt wardrobes. Who you'll be sharing with: Colleen (26) and Ella (28). Colleen works full time and Ella works casually and studies. We're both pretty quiet and keep to ourselves, but are friendly and up for a cup of tea and a chat. We also have a cat called Pippy who is very shy. You are: A clean, tidy female, working or studying or both.
Quiet little freestanding house on a block of Units, it's double story with living area, laundry, additional toilet and kitchen downstairs, bedrooms and shared bathroom upstairs. We have a split system air conditioner/heater and a single garage (can't be used to park in but is great for storage!) The room is unfurnished, but the rest of the house is fully furnished. We're very close to Newcomb Central and Bellarine Village shopping centres. Geelong CBD is less than a 5 minute drive away, there is a 24 hour gym around the corner and Public transport is easily accessible. I have unlimited cable internet which is included in the rent, as is water. Gas and Electricity are not included as they're hard to estimate so I'd prefer to split them when they come in (however, between two people they were rarely more than $20pw for both) All applications will go through the real estate agent, as you will be joining me on the lease but the agent and the property owner are great people. I'm looking for someone who is looking to stay for at least a full year lease (Renews in March 2018 so preferably another year after that), I'm going back to study next year and would prefer not to move for as long as I can avoid it!
I don't smoke, drink, or do drugs, and don't plan to take up doing any of those either. I clean up after myself, and mostly keep to myself in general though am quite happy to have a chat. I mostly spend a lot of time at my computer for fun (and keep things fairly quiet as I only use headsets). I'm originally from South Australia and moved to Geelong at the end of March in 2016 so although I know my way around Geelong fairly well now am hopeless with regards to most of Victoria and or when people give me directions by names of streets/refer to suburbs.
Clean, social but like privacy, working regular hours. Love to work-out/walking. Love love animals, I have a beautiful pup who is 4 y/o Very friendly and well trained. Thankyou :)
This 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom with separate toilet house has a huge backyard with an undercover area for entertaining. It's located at the end of a quiet Court and has plenty of off street parking. It has a funky blue kitchen with modern appliances and a huge lounge. House is aged but is clean and tidy. Choice of 2 bedrooms both with built in wordrobe with mirror doors and one has an shelf on the wall. Must be an animal lover as I have an inside cat and a dog.
Offering a double room or single rooms available in three bedroom house to share with preferably another female. 10 minutes from CBD. Secure, modern with enclosed garden. Ideal for young professionals or uni students. close to shopping centres and public trasport. one flatemate rent is $180 a week two Faltemates rent is $120 a week each
This is a large family home in a quiet court location. My son and I are the only occupants of the home. We are lucky enough to have a home layout which effectively makes a large home into three private residences. You will have the opportunity to have your own private studio unit, fully furnished, complete with brand new bed, wardrobe, tall boy, table and chairs, television, air conditioner/heater, kitchenette with bar fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave, and own ensuite make this studio unit very comfortable!!. There is a beautiful undercover outdoor area and backyard which is a quite and peaceful outlook from the unit. Lots of home comforts here! I'd love to talk to you if you share the same respectful values that we will show you such as friendly, considerate, non smoker and keep the home clean, but lived in ;) Please contact me if you'd like to see our home. :)
Hi! My name is Grace, I’m 31 years old and work 4 days a week in the community field. I have just completed my Yoga training and will start teaching in the new year. I am pretty laid back, and like to socialise but do enjoy me time and privacy. Not looking for a “party house”. I’m clean and like to cook :) I have two adorable rescue cats.
Hey guys, my lease is about to finish up so I'm trying to suss out a new place to move into! I'm currently studying IT full time at Tafe whilst working part time on the side. I love meeting new people, cooking, and having a drink! I am also very clean, tidy and mindful of other housemates. I'm always keen to watch a film, play boardgames, go out for drinks/dinner or whatever 😀
Moving out of the rents house finally. Recently graduated as a nurse and midwife and will be working at Geelong Hospital. I currently work at the Geelong Hospital with people with cognitive and intellectual impairments. Laid back and easy going. Pretty cool chick.
Hey guys, I'm from Sydney. Moving down to Geelong in January to study medicine at Deakin Uni. Looking for either a room or (preferably) some awesome people to start a new share house with. Housemates who are independent but also like to share dinner occasionally or tv/bad movie would be ideal. Definitely prefer a home, not just somewhere to sleep. I enjoy anatomy, terrible movies, cooking (I work part time as a chef), spending time with my cat and simpsons memes.
Jess is a 20 year old female. She is currently studying full time as well as working 2 jobs, which means that for the time she is at home she is pretty laid back and likes to spend her time relaxing. Harry is a 20 year old male. He works full time and is a part-time uni student. Harry enjoys cooking and being physically active. Both Jess and Harry are clean, easy-going and respectful of other's property and the communal areas. We are looking to move into an unfurnished room to share until late February and ideally move as soon as possible.
I'm a considerate tidy and quiet housemate happy to have a chat and socialise when needed. I'm somewhat of a geek and when asked about tv shows movies or other things that interest me I can go on about it! I love to cook and share my cooking with people who like a variety of food!! I love getting to know people and I promise if you ever need someone to go shopping with I will be more than happy to come with and give ideas on fashion movies or video games! I have a playstation 4 as well so have lots of games to bring in if you enjoy gaming!
I'm a 23 yo female Geelong local and looking for somewhere come the end Jan/start Feb 2018 as my lease will be up then. I work in hospitality roughly 4-5 days a week and a couple of nights a week. I am fun, friendly and easy to get along with. Pet lover. Non-smoker (but I don't discriminate against those who do). I clean up after myself and would ask the same from my housemates. I have been told I am easy to live with by a roommate before who worked from home so I understand and respect that at times people need their space and quiet time. I have my own furniture, so I am not looking for a furnished room. I am also happy to meet up and discuss team ups. Really just want to move in with some cool people and make lifelong friends :)
Hey! I'm 27 and I work at Geelong Hospital. I am very easy going and respectful and would love to live with someone who I can hang out with but doesn't mind space too. I have 2 very friendly cats...they are more like dogs but are always inside (they can't really cat) so someone who is good with cats and won't let them escape is a must! They usually get along with dogs if the dog is ok with them. Look forward to hearing from you!
I like pets. Cats more than dogs. I have very mild Autism so if you are a good communicator, we should be fine. Please don't push either Neurodiversity nor Anti Vax crap on me. I have no alcohol nor substance abuse issues. I'm a non-smoker. I don't play loud music nor randomly make loud noises. I can drink socially just fine. I'm on the Disability Support Pension and have brilliant financial self discipline. You won't have any trouble getting me to cough up for bills. I amuse myself with anal retentive internet research and fact checking. Also gaming and using mods. Recreationally I walk, am active in the geek meatspace scene. I'm really into table top RPGs and movies with reasonable plots rather than big budgets. My politics is left of center and I'm effectively a social democrat. I don't shy away from deep conversations if thats on offer. I'm privately messy (mental chaos issues), but agreeable and cooperative with being clean and tidy in common areas.
Looking for a vegetarian housemate, 25-44, that doesn't ever drink alcohol or use drugs and gets home before 11:30pm most nights. Have to say that first to avoid wasting peoples time. If you eat meat, drink or smoke then please do not contact me. We want someone who will fit in here. I might sound very boring but believe me I'm not, I used to party quite a lot but now am taking a more spiritual path. I still grow Peyote. :) Park over the road with sports ovals. Quiet street. 5 minute bike ride to beach. The house is rustic yet clean. Outside needs paint, most of the inside has new paint. Carpets were recently steam cleaned. If you like gardening there is plenty of space to grow whatever you like. There is a veggie patch that you can help yourself to. Washing machine and dishwasher. Gas heater in lounge room. Outdoor undercover storage space. Ceiling fan in room. Chilled out housemates. Relaxed environment. Good quality water filter. Enjoyable garden. The lounge is a t.v. free space, there is space if needed for another couch. The room is 3m x 3.6m. It is a month by month lease but so long as we get along there shouldn't be a reason you cant stay for 12 months or more. If you are from a warm climate and would be using a heater while you sleep during Winter or if you use an air conditioner then that is at extra cost, otherwise all bills are included.
A female and a non-smoker preferred. The property is in a perfect location in a quiet place (court) and is only 10 mins from the CBD and 20mins from lovely beach suburbs like Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads and Torquay. The house has plenty of off street parking, evaporative cooling and ducted heating. Foxtel is available and the tenant would basically have their own lounge room and bathroom. (Main bathroom and toilet may be used for guests) A low shedding inside/outside dog lives at this property and loves human attention so no other pets. Another dog may be considered depending on breed, temperament etc as this pooch can have some social issues with other dogs!
The room locates in East Geelong, but is near to city, only 1.2 km and to Deakin Uni Waterfront campus, only 2 km. You could walk, bicyle, drive or take a bus to the city, Deakin Uni and Geelong Train Station within half an hour. There are two bus stops, only 10 and 20 meters far from the unit. Normally, the waiting time is 15 minutes. ( Address is 424 Ryrie St, East Geelong, easy to google the place.) In front of the unit, it is Eastern Park which is perfect to walk, jogging and have a relax. Across the park (5 min walk), you will see the beautiful sea. Just enjoy it. The sunset is attractive as well. There is a circle, open swimming pool for the public. The food&vegetables market is only one street away in the south, including Post, Coles, cafe and other dining places. The room is available now. You could sign the contrcat with the property agent and pay the rent to them monthly. The weekly rent is $175, the monthly rent is $758. (It does not include the water, electricity, gas and internet fee.) The unit is newly furnished on March, 2017. And I only lived here for 5 months. The unit is clean, cozy with large space. Because of my work, I have to move to Melbourne city A.S.A.P.. The landlord is nice and warm-hearted, if you need any help, just contact her in future. The unit has one kitchen, one big living room (attached the picture below, no one lives), two bedrooms (attached one photo below), one bathroom, one laundry and one shower room. It also has a front yard, a back yard and a car park (door with lock). The yard is beautiful with flowers and one bench (attached the picture as well). Each window has a screen with meshes, girls, do not worry about bugs or other insects. IMPORTANTLY, the unit has registered to Barwon Security, it is 100% safe to live here, plus neighborhoods are kind. Now, the sharing furniture includes one fridge, dining table, dish washing machine, washing machine and microwave oven. The only you need to prepare is to transport one bed and I could provide the bed as well. Welcome! Overall, the unit is absolutely to the person who works or studies in Geelong currently or in future. Please feel free to contact me, if you like to see more pictures of the unit or have an inspection. I will arrange one. Thanks for reading my ad. If you like the place, please contact me A.S.A.P.. Do not miss the best one. Thank you very much.

Hey! I'm Kat. I'm going to be study medicine at deakin waurn ponds in 2018. I used to go to highschool in Geelong, moved to Melbourne for my undergrad, did a couple years of backpacking, travelling and working in europe, and now I'm back. A bit about me: Ambivert Social gamer/boardgamer (e.g. DOTA 2, Overwatch; Mansions of madness, Bang) Animal lover Social drinker and occasional partier with a fine appreciation for carlton draft Group fitness gym enthusiast I do aerial hoop and pole dancing for fun, definitely not any good I play violin and piano in orchestras also for fun, probably my more skilled hobby My favorite show of all time is 'How I met your mother', so expect some puns non smoker, carnivore, Instagram noob but trying to learn I'm looking to share with people who are easy going, somewhat or very tidy, is a good mix of doing their own thing and wanting to socialize, is cool with friends coming over sometimes for some study seshes or beer, my boyfriend will visit from Melbourne and stay some weekends, respectful, if a smoker will always smoke outside. I am not looking for a party house (but not looking for a quiet antisocial house either). Need time to myself to chill/study but if we're both free some wine or tea with netflix would be sweet. Hit me up if you think we're on the same page!
House trained and easy going I am busy with work and need a clean and friendly furnished room reasonably close to Geelong CBD. Will be away every second weekend with family commitments. Happy by myself or socialise with broad interests and conversation.
Currently studying medicine at Deakin University in Waurn Ponds. Love cooking, reading, gardening and bike riding when I'm not studying. Looking for a place to move into for 12 months. My current lease ends at the end of Jan, so hoping to find a place to move into mid/end Jan.
I’m a student and work part time so I’m always busy. I am clean and tidy, and value a clean house. I usually keep to myself but I’m always keen for a chat. I have rented in Geelong for the last three years and are looking for a new place with fewer people.
