Yo My name is Caitlin & I am 24 years old, I will be moving to Geelong, from NSW, to start university at Deakin Warun Ponds, end of February. I will be studying full-time and also working on weekends. I'm looking for a room to rent/house to share. Also, I have a dog (kelpie x) and would love for her to move with me. I have lived out of home for the last 6 years in shared accommodation. I am easy-going, quiet and happy to contribute to the household.
The house is a 2 story 4 bedroom with a large backyard. There is a BBQ and shed. We have unlimited wifi which is split along with bills. The house has air conditioning and a gas stove/oven. We like to keep parties at the house to a minimum, and clean your dishes before the end of the day. Meals are seperate aswell. Safeway, Aldi, Dan Murphy's and other small stores or take out are walking distance or about a 3-5 min drive away.
Hey Everyone! My name is Zoe, I'm currently looking for room to move into once my lease is up in mid March. I'll be working full time and studying next year so I'll be keeping myself busy. I'm not 100% set on a location yet, but i'll be working in Waurn Ponds and commuting to Melbourne for study so somewhere around there and a train station would be awesome. I'm painfully organized and pay everything on time so I promise you'll never be chasing me up for anything! I'm clean and respect others privacy so I'm an awesome housemate. I'm always down for a movie or binge watching marathon. I don't have any pets so it's just me, but I'm happy to live with someone who does have them. I do have a house full of furniture if anyone is missing anything, one of the perks of living alone, I guess! Please let me know if you've got anything available
Easy to get along with , able to agree on anything.. we are currently unemployed but are seeking work.. I (Bec) am starting up a home business in spray tanning ( hoping to add more services in the future ) we like to have a few drinks every now and then ( Don’t always get too drunk 😝) have 2 cats ( Zara 5 years old && Charlotte 3 months old)
Looking for people who are keen to team up and find a place together! I'm currently living in East Geelong, but my lease is ending soon and my current housemates are moving interstate. I am looking at moving to the East Geelong to Leopold area, however, I'm happy to move further for the perfect place. I have a substantial amount of furniture from my existing house that I will be bringing with me, which is why I am looking to move into a fresh house with new people. I am a chilled bloke, who enjoys a cold beer or wine at the end of a long day! Not a massive partier, but do enjoy a good bbq, dinner and drinks with good mates. Currently studying bach of Arch and Construct Management at Deakin, as well as working at a local cider house.
I've just been accepted into Commerce at Deakin University on the waterfront. My family have moved interstate and I need somewhere to stay that's close to Uni. My preferred length of stay would be no less than 9 months.. I need something stable while I'm studying. Somewhere that public transport is easy to access is preferred. A bit about me: I keep my spaces tidy and when I'm not working or studying just tend to hibernate. I play a bit of guitar and keep myself fit and healthy. I'm friendly and can spark up and hold conversations about anything.. I generally just like talking haha I work part time - Nights around studies and am 18 in March. I don't smoke and don't have any pets.
Av 23 Jan - Queen size bed in this $160 furnished room. It has BIRs, ceiling fan and polished floor boards. 3.4 x 4.3 - so plenty of space. The vibe is peaceful and casual here, it doesn't feel busy at all. Bright open plan house with lovely modern kitchen. The whole house is a functioning family home available for your use including a bright and cheerful open plan kitchen and lounge, opening up to the outdoor area and backyard. There are 2 toilets and 1 bathroom, so will have to work around each other's grooming needs. We have a charming garden and outdoor area, 2.5 friendly little dogs and 2 cats that sleep in the shed at night. 10 minute bus ride to town, (bus stops a few doors up the street), we keep the house tidy, no TV, no swearing, and no drugs, & be kind to each other & animals - peace & love! And of course, we have wifi :)
Hi, I am moving to Geelong in the next 2 weeks. I am transferring from my local Bunnings to the Leopold store. I am 26 years old, very friendly, mature and like to keep active. I have a dog named Charlie, he is a cavoodle, very well trained and pretty much goes anywhere that I do. I am looking to share a home with 1 or 2 other people in Geelong, preferably within a short drive to work. Ideally it would be nice to have a spare room/study in the house so that our family or friends could stay. I am happy to pay up to $180 a week. Obviously the house needs to be pet friendly. I like to keep my house organised and fairly clean and tidy. I do not smoke and would ideally like to live with non smokers too. If you are interested please let me know. Louise :)
Quiet little freestanding house on a block of Units, it's double story with living area, laundry, additional toilet and kitchen downstairs, bedrooms and shared bathroom upstairs. We have a split system air conditioner/heater and a single garage (can't be used to park in but is great for storage!) The room is unfurnished, but the rest of the house is fully furnished. We're very close to Newcomb Central and Bellarine Village shopping centres. Geelong CBD is less than a 5 minute drive away, there is a 24 hour gym around the corner and Public transport is easily accessible. I have unlimited cable internet which is included in the rent, as is gas, electricity and water All applications will go through the real estate agent, as you will be joining me on the lease but the agent and the property owner are great people.
I study Law and Criminology at Deakin, I’m from Ballarat and have just moved to Geelong this year. I’m very clean and tidy, and like to look after the house. I’m also down for a drink or two and love to have a good time and go on adventures. I prefer not to live with any pets - as I have a phobia of dogs.
We are two young students, both studying at The Gordon TAFE. I will be studying hairdressing and Jason will be studying IT. We are a quiet, tidy and respectful couple and plan to gain part-time employment once we relocate. We are from a small country town and enjoy quiet nights rather than parties.
Small unit right across the road from Bellarine Villiage, and very short walk from bus stops. Single undercover car port available for you. Fridge, washing machine and kitchen utensils available for use. Bills included in rent (and you must pay on time), buy your own meals, chores shared, unlimited internet available at $30/month. No built in wardrobes but there is a set of drawers available for your room if you wish. Message me for more details if you’re interested. Inspections welcome. (Images to come, current roommate is still moving their things out)
I am a clean person, social but also like my privacy. I Like to work-out and go for long walks. Also love a good glass of wine every now and then. I am an animal lover! I have a Gs X kelpie who is 4 y/o Very friendly and well trained :)
I'm a easy going chilled guy active, clean and hygienic. Don't lock myself away in my room am sociable. I study exercise sports science at Deakin and play high level football. Do have a medium sized dog named Bruce who is a mostly outside dog he's very friendly and loves to play.
hey, im a musician studying sound engineering at oxygen college. i am active, love adventure and am passionate about acoustic guitar. my partner in crime is Buddy, a 4 yr old kelpie who is very well behaved and very friendly , he loves to play, so my spare time is taking him for walks or to the park..... apart from that, i love music, movies and always willing to help in the garden or around the house. im very chill and dont go out partying, but dont mind the occasional arvo beer or wine with a good home cooked meal.
Hey guys, i'm currently studying IT full time at Tafe whilst working part time on the side. I love meeting new people, cooking, and having a drink! I am also very clean, tidy and mindful of other housemates. I'm always keen to watch a film, play boardgames, go out for drinks/dinner or whatever 😀
Hey guys, I'm from Sydney. Moving down to Geelong in January to study medicine at Deakin Uni. Looking for either a room or (preferably) some awesome people to start a new share house with. Housemates who are independent but also like to share dinner occasionally or tv/bad movie would be ideal. Definitely prefer a home, not just somewhere to sleep. I enjoy anatomy, terrible movies, cooking (I work part time as a chef), spending time with my cat and simpsons memes.
Hayley and I are two young females who are extremely outgoing and enjoy a good time but also to chill out and have a few wines. We are both currently studying full time and also work part time. Currently looking at properties with 3 bedrooms and would love someone new to live with! Send me a message if you've got 2 bedrooms available or are keen on teaming up.
I'm a little bit of an introvert. I love to chill out, have a couple of drinks and chat...but home is where your Netflix is. I'm pretty clean, very friendly, totally hilarious, and always down for a movie/boardgame night. Just looking for like minded geeks whom aren't messy party animals.
Hi There! I’m looking to share a nice, central place, with switched-on, like-minded grown up/s, where nice chats and occasional shared meals can add to the enjoyment of living in this great city. I work as CEO for a tech industry association, as well as having my own business, and a charity. I rent a work space in North Geelong, and attend quite a few networking events during the week, so not at home much. (But occasionally I do like to work from home.) When at home, I like chilling out by cooking, relaxing with Netflix, working, or catching up with friends for low key dinners or drinks. I have a wide social group, but when at home, I’m usually looking to escape people and veg out with flatmates or on my own. I’m also happily single, no kids, never been married, and not fussed about dating, so overnights guests shouldn't be an issue! I’m clean, organised and like to keep shared areas tidy. I love cats, so would see any cats as a bonus! I eat meat, but am completely cool with vegans and vegetarians. I get on well with all ages... consideration and shared interests and values are more important to me. I’m reasonably new to Geelong. I moved here in 2015, not knowing a soul, after 15 years in the UK. It took me a while to find my feet, but things are now falling into place. I’m not ready to buy a place, or take a lease, until I know which area I really want to be in. That said, I’m much happier living with one or two others, rather than alone. Sharing isn’t about saving money to me. I just prefer it. I'm dog-sitting for friends in East Geelong until 15/1/18, so ideally looking for somewhere that week. However, I have back up accommodation til 9/2 if needed for the right place. If you think I'd be a good addition to your home, please get in touch. Thanks.
I am moving to Geelong to complete a research project. I currently work full time in trauma research in Melbourne. I am great for a chat, love a wine but also respect the need for personal space.
Very easy to live and get along with, you won't even know I'm there half the time, especially after using house amenities. Happy to handle house bills/rent payments, which includes shopping around for the best deal on utilities if wanted. Always clean up after myself, always pay rent on time, can cook, do laundry, keep a garden alive, and also pretty handy in basic home repair.
I'm a considerate tidy and quiet housemate happy to have a chat and socialise when needed. I'm somewhat of a geek and when asked about tv shows movies or other things that interest me I can go on about it! I love to cook and share my cooking with people who like a variety of food!! I love getting to know people and I promise if you ever need someone to go shopping with I will be more than happy to come with and give ideas on fashion movies or video games! I have a playstation 4 as well so have lots of games to bring in if you enjoy gaming!
Im Sam a 23 year old Social Work student at Deakin Waterfront. Im new to Geelong and hoping to find some nice/fun people to share a place with! Im pretty laid-back and enjoy a chat and occasional drink. Im also tidy and very reliable. I also have my own furniture so looking for a place with an empty room or happy to team up and find a place with some others.
I like pets. Cats more than dogs. I have very mild Autism so if you are a good communicator, we should be fine. Please don't push either Neurodiversity nor Anti Vax crap on me. I have no alcohol nor substance abuse issues. I'm a non-smoker. I don't play loud music nor randomly make loud noises. I can drink socially just fine. I'm on the Disability Support Pension and have brilliant financial self discipline. You won't have any trouble getting me to cough up for bills. I amuse myself with anal retentive internet research and fact checking. Also gaming and using mods. Recreationally I walk, am active in the geek meatspace scene. I'm really into table top RPGs and movies with reasonable plots rather than big budgets. My politics is left of center and I'm effectively a social democrat. I don't shy away from deep conversations if thats on offer. I'm privately messy (mental chaos issues), but agreeable and cooperative with being clean and tidy in common areas.
Hello! I'm a Perth local making the move over to Geelong to study full time at Deakin. Looking forward to the surf and the footy on the side. I'm very respectful of personal space, but hoping to make some new friends out of my future house mates too. I'll be working hard during the week, but don't mind a casual beer and a night out on the weekends. Very clean and tidy; cooking enthusiast; sport, beach, film and music lover. Looking for a warm, friendly household to take me in :)
I'm from China and have lived in US for 2 years with people from other countries, therefore I can get along with my future flatmates pretty well even if we have different culture background. I'm a freshman from Deakin University majored in architecture landscape design. Love music, food, Korean tv shows, etc. Sociable, tidy, nice, laugh a lot, also study hard. ;)
Looking for a home (6mo - 1 yr), moving back to my home town from Footscray. I'm a full-time (0.8) Nurse, Great at paying bills on time & keeping tidy. I'm respectful, easy going, loves a nap & sunshine. I'm non-smoking, drama free, come with random bits of furniture and a pole. Would love to hear from you!
Hi I'm a working professional (medical field) moving to Geelong. Looking for a quiet comfortable place close to the hospital, good food and things to do. I'm a considerate housemate who enjoys socialising, cooking and a good laugh. Fairly happy go lucky, easy to get along with and respectful of others privacy. Looking to also get a place so if you're looking to start a share-house get in touch. Will need to move by the second week of January 2018 due to work commitments.
I am a third year occupational therapy student studying at the waterfront campus. I work part time in mutliple jobs to support myself through my studies and am looking for a share house with three to four persons for next year. I am always up for a chat and a night owl and am open to living with pets.
