Backs onto golf course for bush like feeling in the little garden. Has pool and tennis court in the complex. I have 2 cats that are affectionate 1 especially so. It's a quiet house hold, I only occasionally have a couple of guests over to play board games which I'm also happy and keen to play with tennants. Bill money is a flat $25 per week which includes NBN FTTP, gas, electricity, water, plus household cleaning products, dishwasher tablets, washing machine detergent and toilet paper. The first photo is of the backyard this morning (21 Sepember) and the other 3 of the room. There are two large drawers as underbed storage. I have additional furniture to fill the empty space depending on what you require. There is a block out curtain (you can see the components on the shelves) that I will also be installing prior to anybody moving in. Curtains have been installed in the room pictured.
I'm 22, working multiple jobs, super reliable, easy going and very tidy when it comes to shared spaces, I'm pretty quiet and prefer nights in but still keen to hang out with a drink and a game or movie every now and then
One of our beloved housemates is moving out mid November to early December and we are seeking a professional female tenant in their mid 20's to move in and share a spacious and big house in Ngunnawal. The house is located in a quiet part of Ngunnawal and conveniently located with easy access to Horse Park Drive, Gungahlin Drive and Barton Highway towards the city. The house is fully furnished in all common property areas. Unlimited NBN internet is available ($30 per month). Water, electricity and gas bills are split evenly between all the housemates. The house is bright, airy and sunny with a great outdoor entertaining area. The kitchen is spacious and it has a great sized lounge/dining area. The house has central gas heating. You would be living with two professional female housemates, both in their mid-20s. The house is very quiet and offers a lot of privacy. The housemates are very friendly and love to have a chat however are also happy just keeping to themselves. You would be sharing a bathroom with one of the housemates only, as the other housemate has the ensuite room. The female housemate sought must be considerate, clean (we are both super clean people so we are looking for someone that will also maintain the house in a clean orderly manner) and respectful but is easy to get along with. Ideally a professional worker who works standard 9-5ish days. No smoking or pets. If you are interested please send through a brief description of yourself and we can arrange a meet up.
Hey future house mate/s. My name is Hayden and i work as a full time stonemason. Im looking for a quite house hold. I usually stick to my self, dont go out much, im clean and will occasionally cook for the people i live with. Very easy to get along with. Not sure what else i should put up :)
Incredibly laid back, clean housemate. Happy to socialise or keep to self depending on housemates. More than willing to live with pets, other students, professionals, or pretty much anyone.
I am a tidy, friendly, happy person who enjoys my own space but also likes to be social. Work takes up a fair bit of my time but I like to have down time as well to do other things that I enjoy. I am happy to clean regularly to keep things tidy. I enjoy cooking and baking. I do not have much of a green thumb but am excellent at watering plants. I have lived in Canberra for almost 5 years now originally from Newcastle, NSW. I love the beach and get back to Newcastle as often as I can. If you have any questions, feel free to ask 😊
I am 20yrs old and am a full time public servant for Defence. I am originally from Brisbane but moved down to Canberra for work 3yrs ago. I have been living with my sister for the past 3 yrs but now would like to move out into a share house. I love all sports especially rugby, touch footy and cricket. I am a very relaxed guy and very easy to get along with. Looking for a place to move into early November.
Hi, I have available a very quiet location sharing with one lady & a cat. The $220 per week includes room, Internet, Electricity, Foxtel, but does not include GAS (this will be a shared additional cost if in excess of what I usually pay). The room has a very comfortable queen bed, you have your own bathroom, backing onto the golf course there is space to relax. I would prefer someone working in Canberra during the week and returning home most weekends. Easy going and very busy myself, I am looking for someone similar. Sorry, no pets. Please make contact if you are interested. Thanks Deb
Hi everyone! I'm living in a near new, fully furnished house in Casey and you would be sharing with me. I study full time during the week as well as work from home in the evenings and on weekends. I would appreciate someone who can be mindful of this - someone who doesn't have guests come to visit would be great. The room is furnished with a bed, side table and lamp, and has built in robes with mirrors. I have internet and Foxtel connected at the house. I have two small dogs that are outside except at night. So no other pets welcome sorry. There is plenty of on street parking available. Bills are to be split equally between us. If you think this might be the place for you, then please don't hesitate to get in touch :)
WHO: I’m planning to move from Melbourne to Canberra soon - I have my eyes on ANU in 2018 so I want to spend the next year working and getting myself set up in Canberra. I’m quiet, independent and prefer to keep to myself. I’m not unfriendly and am happy to chat now and then but I am definitely not a party person. I’m clean, tidy and organised – when you see me around the house it will most likely be when I’m cleaning or in the kitchen preparing my meals for the week. I’m (mostly) vegan, don’t drink or smoke, and I am queer-friendly and pet-friendly. WHAT: I’m looking for a tidy sharehouse that I can come home to after work and on weekends knowing I can relax in peace and quiet. Ideal housemates will be tidy, responsible, and considerate of others. I don’t mind if you drink/smoke/eat meat as long as there’s no smoking indoors or drunkenness, and you don’t hang **** on me about my choices! I am looking for an unfurnished room that can fit a single bed, large chest of drawers, bookcase and desk. I will also need somewhere to park my car and some space in a kitchen cupboard for the bit of kitchenware I have. Internet access is also desirable. I’m hoping not to spend more than $200pw (plus bills) but would consider paying more for the right place. I’m hoping to stay long-term, but will also consider short-term opportunities. WHERE: As a newbie to Canberra I have no preference for area, so don’t be put off if your suburb is not in my list. My priority is finding the right place with affordable rent. WHEN: I can be flexible – hoping for mid- November but it will depend on what happens with work in Melbourne and, of course, when the right place is available. I would consider paying rent earlier than my actual move to secure the right place. HOW: I’m coming to Canberra next weekend (29-30 October) hoping to check out some places on the Saturday, and Sunday if need be. So if you would like to meet me and show me your place, or know more about me, please text or message me by Friday with a bit about your place and why you think I’ll be a good fit, and we’ll go from there. I might not be able to get around to everyone so the more you can tell me, the better!
Casey Room for Rent My roommate is moving out with her bf, so the room will be free in Early to Mid October. She has been in the room for over a year now and we get on well. I'm a 25 year old male. Work full time and play a lot of sport. I love to cook and bake. Enjoy my motorbikes and cars. Bus stop a minute walk away will take you to Gungahlin or Belconnen in around 15 mins. This bus also goes directly to the city and on to the Railway Station. Small IGA/Liquor store/Coffee Shop across the road, as well as a GP. Casey Market Town just opened up the road. Big Aldi, Supabarn and about 20 other big brand retailers/food. Rent is $190 a week. That includes NBN internet and Netflix. Bills are extra, but work out to be about $40-$50 each a month for Gas and Electricity. I also have Foxtel for now, but will consider keeping it if you are happy to share this bill. If you are interested or would like to see more pics, let me know. Also happy to answer any questions you have.

I have recently moved to Canberra for work based in civic, and now looking for a long term accommodation. I am quiet, easy going and keen to make new friends. I do like to spend time alone on Netflix as well as do not mind to cook occasionally and chat over a glass of wine. I do cook good curries too!!
I'm a part-time worker (who does full time hours) and a full time student at ANU. I'm as busy as I am easy going - so while I may not always be around, I can be sociable and get along with just about anyone. I enjoy cooking and baking. Don't worry I always cleanup after - and share too! I also enjoy a good Netflix binge, game sesh and reading to unwind. I come fully house trained and with a PS4.
Hi there I'm just trying to think how I can explain myself without sounding too much of a gym junkie..So here goes 😄 I work part time at a retail shop; pays the bills on time; clean up after myself; don't mind chipping in to help with the chores; quite an active person as I go to the gym 6 days p/week; reliable, easy going and I respect other people's time and space; when I'm not at work or on rest day, I like to prep meals and sometimes, would like to cook with others; don't do Netflix and chill so don't worry, I won't bring any strangers beside inviting my good friends to have dinner; and last but not least, I am quite friendly and approachable 😊
Looking for housemates to find a share-house somewhere around the vicinity of UC. I have lived on campus (doing Medical Science at ANU) and with housemates but we are going different ways next year. I enjoy being outside, as i grew up on and regularly go back to a family cattle farm. Also i tend to procrastinate by cooking and cleaning. Looking to move late December.
Hello! I'm moving to Canberra from Brisbane for 3 months for work. I just finished uni, studying economics. As a housemate, I like to socialise with the occasional wine, but definitely am not a party gal. I don't smoke or have any pets, but I do have a boyfriend who would visit occasionally (he lives in Brisbane, so not that often). I enjoy keeping a clean home so if you do too that would be perfect. As i'm only coming down for a little while i really need the room to be furnished, with a bed at least. Let's chat!
Am looking for a room in the Gungahlin area, preferably master with walk in robe, under $220 a week. I am 22 years old with 2 dogs, 16 month old Husky and a 9 month old Maremma. They are really well behaved and love people. Go to UC and work part time. Not a huge party person but do love a night in with mates with pizzas and beer :)
Female student studying education at ACU. Friendly and tidy and have lived in share house before. Comes with queen sized bed. I'm a shy person but love to bond over movies, videogames and a drink.
I am friendly, neat and quiet mature age student looking for reasonably priced share house arrangement for 2017. After many years in Sydney and overseas I am returning to Canberra to be closer to my family and continue my studies. I am not much of socialiser but I am reliable when it comes to paying rent (and other household costs) and helping out with the maintenance of house. I prefer living in long-term sharing set-ups and I have been living with my current flatmates for the last 3 years and we have all been on good terms. I am sad to leave Sydney I am hopefully and positive about new prospects in the ACT.
Jermaine, looking for a place to call home with some people that I would like to eventually call friends! I work Full time, Mon-Fri! Play Rugby union, guitar and just love listening to all types of music! Easy going, love to have a laugh. But also respect others space!
Hi, I'm Meril, a criminology student at the ANU. I am pretty easy going, clean and respectful. I would love to find flatmates who I could eventually become friends with. I don't mind having dinners or people over as long as it's not every night. I also understand that we all need our privacy sometimes and respect that. I love cooking and trying new recipes, good wine, netflix (who doesn't?), traveling and discovering new places and cultures.
