I am friendly, love to cook and share food, clean and chilled. I am working full time in social work and also study part time. I am looking for a place that is quiet to study, but friendly and social too, not a party house. I am pretty healthy, eat well and in to yoga, swimming, camping, hiking.
Hi! My name is Janel and I will be moving to Darwin from Canada at the end of August. I’ll be working full-time as a chemistry researcher in Darwin for 2 years. I’m looking for a place I can call home for at least 6 mo - 1 year! I recently finished my bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the United States, where I’ve lived the past four years. A bit about myself: I love playing squash, biking, rock climbing, the outdoors in general and cooking/baking. I’m really excited to explore the Northern Territory and maybe do some travel into SE Asia. I am not a big partier, and I do not mind helping out around the house at all. I am a non-smoker, easy-going and friendly. I like my down time, but also enjoy socializing with my roommates after work and on weekends. I would prefer the room to be furnished, but its not required.
Hi all...I'm a 25 year old Irish girl just arrived in Darwin and am looking to rent a room until the end of January. Im a qualified nurse and plan to work full time while I'm here (as a nurse or otherwise) but also want to socialise and make friends too. I'm clean and tidy and love animals so pets are not an issue :)
I am originally from the states, and moved over to Australia a few years ago to study physiotherapy. Moving to Darwin to explore the area and work full time. I enjoy staying active with any sport. During my time off I like to travel and explore the outdoors. I am really chill, tidy and respectful. Always up for a new adventure, or a night in to chat and have a good laugh.
Always wanted to live in a Spanish-style mansion on the beaches of Nightcliff? Well do we have the opportunity for you! On offer is a 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom, 2 kitchen (yep!), double storey Goliath with a pool, right on the Nightcliff foreshore. You’ll have your own bathroom and your room can be furnished or unfurnished (rest of the house is decked out). There’s currently 6 months remaining on the lease, and we hope to extend come March. I am optimistic and impelled by excellence, optimism, life and laughter; self-motivated, dedicated and community focused. Individualised service, organisation and attention to detail. Yoga, gym and always down for brunch. Previously just sold my florist and cafe. Moving to Darwin proceeding a flight attendant position.

Hi there, I am arriving in Darwin on the 16th of Aug and am looking for a nice place to call home. I will be working fulltime and am wanting a place near the cbd, or in areas not too far from cbd. I will have access to a car, and would consider either a furnished or non furnished property. I will have a pet that will arrive eventually in Darwin but at the moment I’m looking for accommodation just for me. I am reliable, trustworthy, outgoing and enjoy both time alone and time with others. I’m clean and tidy and always pay my bills on time. If you’re looking for an awesome flatmate please contact me. Short term room needed initially. Thanks
Hey guys, I'm a 31yo guy! I work for a children's charity, and I also perform stand up comedy too when I can. I moved to Darwin a few months ago, but i am just looking for somewhere new to live. I love to be surrounded by positive, busy and fun people, who like to socialize, but also happy to chill out too. I am clean, reliable, and easy to get on with. If you like dad jokes and puns, then I'm your guy! I'm fairly flexible with when I move too, so send me a message and I'll be in touch, I put down September 22nd, but it can be sooner for sure, thanks guys! Pete
Hello! :) I've recently moved up from Sydney and looking for short-term furnished accom until I figure out where I'd like to plonk long term (and I'm happy to take tips!). While you're looking for your perfect flatmate I could fill the gap for you too (or it could be me!). I don't have any myself but am happy to live with pets provided they're well-trained. One thing I won't budge on is you must be a non-smoker(s), sorry I can't stand the smell. Ideally I'm looking for something with space and an outlook. It doesn't have to be a "view" as such but just open. A built-in is a must and the best air-conditioning available! :D I don't have any furniture but do love reading though so need a place to put some books and also a pushie as that's currently my only mode of transport....speaking of, I need to be within a short (30min) ride to the airport as that is where I work but I don't particularly want to live right across the road. So about me; I'm a considerate shiftworker, easy-going, open-minded, blunt, honest and active. If I'm pissing you off, I'm more than happy for you to tell me so as I prefer to be up-front. I'm a keen traveller and I don't like to be at home much but when I am, it's my haven. I love company but also appreciate my own space so happy to hang out sometimes but also do our own thing. I'm a keen recycler, eat mostly veges but I love the smell of a barbie on any given day! I'm super CLEAN, but my room is usually a mess however I ALWAYS maintain tidiness in the common areas and expect the same. I've lived with others on and off for over 20yrs (Sydney real estate!), my last flatmate for almost 7 of those. My partner lives in Katherine so I will be away every now and then to visit but would also appreciate him being able to stay occasionally too. (He is an ex chef so this could also work in your favour as he doesn't have a kitchen where he is...) :) Being ex-hospitality and a female into sports I have many LGB friends. I am also well travelled so respectful of all communities and cultures (growing up in Sydney may also have something to do with both of those). I love meeting new people and experiencing new things so if you have any advice on things to see, do, eat or experience for a newcomer to Darwin, throw me your suggestions! I am keen to get fitter (biking to work is helping!), love classic Aussie rock (Midnight Oil, Hunters, Hoodoos, Divinyls etc), drink a lot of tea, enjoy playing and watching sport and like to learn new things. Hopefully something there grabs you enough to think I'd be a good fit in your home or at least curious enough to contact for a cuppa and chat. I look forward to meeting you soon. Cheers, Jane. :)
My name is Kelly and I’m moving from Perth to Darwin towards the end of August :) I am a nurse so will be working full time shift work. I have lived in a share house for the past two years. I am very easy going, friendly, caring, considerate, tidy and am always up for a laugh and a chat with house mates but also do my own thing. I love the outdoors, travel, music, food, nature, the beach.. I am very keen to explore Darwin and see what life in the NT is all about :) I am looking for a place that I can relax in after work and feel at home. I am also really hoping to bring my dog up with me as soon as possible so a place that allows pets is ideal. Otherwise I’m happy for a short term rental whilst I find a place that suits pets for the long term. Dog wise I have a very loving staffy x whippet (5ish months old) who can be outdoor only if need be. Any further questions send me a message! :)
Hi my name is Sabine and I am a friendly and respectfull person. Unfortunately due to a floor issue in my current appartment I have to move out when work construction will commence. I am a landlord of a property in Perth myself and I will treat the place I live in with respect. I also run a cleaning business in Perth and you will get a very clean flatmate with me. I do like a quite and relaxed place and wish to share it with a nice person. No Alcoholics and druggies, had my share of that already. I am working in the tourism Industry and it would be important to come home and be able and rest after a long day at work. I do like sport, dancing and socialising but I will do that outsite my living space. At home I like to rest and chill. If anybody is a peacefull person, who like and cares for animals, nature and healthy living I would like to hear from you. I do love dogs and would be happy to share with someone who has a dog, also happy to do free walks...
I am friendly and social and easy going housemate who is clean and tidy :) I am respectful of others space and usually am out of the house however do like company and conversation when home (also happy to relax) enjoy going out for a meal or social event or even a hike or waterfall adventure
Hi.. I'm a 36 year old male. I'm a Medical Laboratory Scientist and I'm moving to Darwin in September 2018 on a skilled migrant visa. I'm very tidy and friends say that there's never a dull moment with me even though I can be serious at times. I tend to stick to a small circle of friends. I love having a good time, grab a beer together on evenings/weekends, watch movies or just hang out. I also love cooking and trying out different cuisines.
I am a quiet 21 year old from Adelaide, moving up to the NT to escape the cold weather and begin my next chapter in nursing. Currently studying a degree in registered nursing, whilst working as an enrolled nurse. I plan on making the big move as soon as I have a successful job application at one of the local hospitals, bringing only my suitcase and dog. My dogs name is Pippa, she is a miniature dachshund, she will absolutely love you. I'm no party animal, but won't say no to a wine or beer with my flatmates at the end of the long work week. I love to cook, always happy to share meals. If I'm not at work or studying, I'll usually be at the gym or out exploring the beauties of the NT. Big on adventure, seeking freedom from from the mainstream lifestyle of consumerism.
