Hey! My name is Lauren and I am looking to move to Perth from Melbourne, to start studying at Murdoch Uni (BSc/DVM) in Semester 2. I am wanting to move over around the 17th of July to give myself a week to settle in before orientation at uni. I am coming to Perth 2/6 - 9/6 to inspect houses and sign a lease, so I can have a month or so to move my gear interstate. I'm an avid gamer (PC and tabletop) and reader. I currently volunteer at the veterinary clinic at the RSPCA Victoria in my spare time and work at a pet supply store. I am easy to live with, and enjoy spending time by myself, but am more than happy to share a few drinks and chat and spend time with the household. I occasionally have friends over to hang out or study, but usually no more than two at any time (at this stage I only know two people in Perth anyway). I keep a clean and decluttered room and am more than willing to share household communal chores. I am currently living at home, and look after my room, the bathroom and kitchen. I would be cooking for myself unless you are wanting to cook together. I am looking for a place that is within walking/biking distance or around 15 minutes via public transport to the main Murdoch campus, to reduce my travel costs (and help the environment!). A private bedroom is ideal, but I am fine sharing a bathroom and the rest of the accommodation. My studies require internet access. I am comfortable sharing a house with couples, men, women and non-binary individuals, and also with people who identify as LGBTQIA+. Pets are also more than welcome! I will be looking for part-time work when I come to Perth. I currently have enough saved, along with supportive income that rent and bills will not be an issue. With my studies, I may have to travel for placements and programs. I will occasionally go back to Melbourne during the uni breaks to see my family. If you think I would be a good addition to your household, please get in contact :)
Choice of two furnished king-single rooms, one available now or the other from 13th May, in a massive, light, clean, spacious house with pool in a very quiet area of North Lake. Just 2km (4 min drive) to Murdoch Uni. $150 or $140pw fully inclusive of all bills (electricity, gas, water and pool chemicals) plus unlimited NBN wifi, plus Optus TV Sport and Variety channels, plus Netflix enabled set-top box. Each room has its own door lock, bed with storage space underneath, bedside table, wardrobe, and study desk with office chair. Shared air-conditioned large kitchen, dining and lounge areas, 2 brand new main bathrooms (as well as the ensuite), laundry with washing machine and dryer, kitchen with oven, stove top, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster, 2 fridge/freezers, outdoor entertainment area with BBQ and seating, below ground pool. House is solar powered, veggie gardens welcome. Easy walk, cycle or bus to South St/Kardinya shopping centre (1km), and Murdoch Uni (2km with walk/cycle path the whole way); buses to Murdoch Uni, Murdoch Train Station, Fiona Stanley Hospital, and Fremantle very close by. Off street parking available. Great transport links to everywhere! Lease to be signed is a legal WA tenancy lease, and is separate for each tenant on a month to month basis, but we would prefer longer term tenants. Bond will be held by the WA government bond ombudsman, so all your rights are fully protected.
Hi I'm Rachael. I am a 20 year old who is down to earth and easy going, as well as passionate and bubbly. As a WAAPA graduate (Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts) music is my life, and part of my wage comes from gigging. When I'm not gigging I am songwriting and working part time in childcare. I am an introverted extrovert, which means that I am happy to keep to myself, but also love socialising- very good when it comes to the balance. I am an honest and conscientious person who is tidy and always willing to help when a hand is needed. I am responsible and can be trusted to pull my weight around the house. Currently looking for a share house that is preferably furnished with internet and bills included in rent. Flexible when it comes to private or shared rooms, however a private room is preferred as I require a space to write and record my music. Would love to share with people who are bubbly and easy going like myself, and also value the importance of respect and understanding. Looking for a sense of home and friendship :)
Hi everyone! I am friendly, clean, non-smoker, 26yo female. I work as a vet and I am moving to Perth for work, after living in the UK for the past 2years. In my spare time I love to run, yoga, and spend time with friends. I also have interests in travel, art, gardening, healthy living, and hiking. I own a furry friend who is travelling over from the UK. 'Budgie' is a friendly cat who is well behaved and lots of fun to have around. He leads an unhealthy lifestyle, hates exercise, and has an addiction to greasy human food, mostly carbs ( be careful and guard your pizza, garlic bread, and fried chips) I am looking for easy going, friendly, house mates, who are understanding of busy work schedules, and not a party house. If you have anymore questions don't hesitate to get into contact X
I have 5 years of experience living in a shared house with a variety of people, from all walks of life during my time in Murdoch University. I am: 1)clean and will always clean up after myself. Am willing to do my part in maintaining the premises. 2)a generally quiet person. Not really into partying as I prefer to spend my time watching shows or playing video games in my room. 3) prompt with payment. 4) open to feedback from anyone of my housemates if I am doing or not doing something which upsets them.
I am a Graduate Research Assistant, pursuing PhD at the Murdoch University and also a part time tutor. I love to cook and watch movies during my leisure time. I am a non-smoker/non-drinker and do not have any pet to cater for.

Philipp got a research internship at Murdoch University from June till end of August, afterwards we want to stay a bit longer and work or do another internship.
