Hi! I'm Baasto :) I'm a bit of an introvert but I can hold a conversation and get a couple laughs out of you along the way. During the week I work full time as an admin in Footscray, on the weekends I enjoy going to events in the city and seeing what melbourne has to offer. I also enjoy quiet nights at home listening to music and watching one of the many shows in my rotation.
I just arrived in Melbourne (lived in Christchurch for the past year) and am not looking for just a place to live but a new home. The last shared place I lived in was very social, but also tidy and nice and it would be the dream to find something like that again. I am a very relaxed & balanced person and respect other people's space. My usual activities range from superactive like hiking, surfing, Yoga, gigs, artsy events, exploring and so on to a good talk or read with wine or movies. I am mostly out and about and especially now that I am new here I will do and see as much as I can. But I am always up for an after work cooking session or a relaxed glass of wine at home. I will work fulltime here, am 31, originally from Germany and intend to stay for at least a year. I can pay rent and bond in advance, so no worries about that. I would be happy to just come by and to get to know you. You can also call / txt Lea 🙂
Hi! My name's Brooke, and I'm a 20 year old library technician from south-east Melbourne. I'm studying to become a librarian while working in a library Monday-Friday. Currently I am living in the rural south east, and I am wanting to move closer to both work and to Melbourne's nightlife. I am looking for a private room in either the inner southern/eastern/northern Melbourne suburbs, particularly St Kilda, or on the Pakenham train line. Great public transport links are essential. I am in no hurry to move, so the move in date is flexible. I am not looking for anything fancy, just somewhere clean and affordable to call home. If the house and flat mates were a good fit I'd be open to renting long term. A social house would be great so I can make some new friends around my new home, and I'd like to get to know the people I am living with. I don't want to live in a party house, but I'd love to live in the sort of house where we can hang out together over a pint. Ideally I'd be living with other people in their twenties, but I'm not an age snob. I have lived in a share house previously, so I appreciate the importance of communication and respect in making sure we all enjoy living together. I also like to think I'm a friendly, respectful, clean and easy going person. And most importantly... I love cleaning rosters!! I've always been punctual and reliable with rent and bills. More than happy to provide proof of income and financial position to assure you I am able to pay consistently. Monday-Friday are spent working and studying, so I'd be pretty quiet during the week. By the weekend I am your typical 20 year old; I love heading out to the pub or to a gig with friends. That being said, I respect if my potential flat mates want a quiet home and I don't bring the party home with me. I love music and I can be found listening to Oasis literally most of the time. Quite shy at first, but I am outgoing once I've gotten to know people. Please send me a message if you think I'd be a good fit in your house! Cheers!
Born in South Africa, raised in Perth. Working for an engineering consultancy company. Love animals, beach, music, food and sport. Respectful, clean, neat, sociable, responsible and fun. Puppy in the profile photo has a choice home and isn't coming with me ;-)
My boyfriend and I have recently just moved from Sydney and I'm studying fashion at rmit and he's a landscaper :) we are both friendly and outgoing, laid back but also clean and tidy. Looking for a place which is friendly and somewhere we can call home!
Hi there my name is Zac. I am a law graduate currently working while looking to secure a permanent role in Law. I always clean up after myself and keep my room tidy. Ideally I am looking for roommates of similar age but am open to anyone.
My wife and I had relocated here from Singapore early last year. I work as a Consultant in the insurance sector while she works in retail. I'm an engineer from Newcastle. I like the outdoors and I'm generally quite active during the week with a variety of sports usually followed by a nice meal or craft beer :) At home I like to occasionally cook something new, play a bit of guitar or just have a chat. I like to think that I'm trustworthy, easy going and tend to equal other people's efforts. Looking to share with similar people who are active and sociable, but also respect each other's space and privacy.
Hi! I'm looking to move closer to the city for work and to experience Melbourne a little more. I’m an easy going, tidy and respectful person and am looking to live with like minded people. I currently work full-time as a nurse so I enjoy being social and having drinks with friends from time to time, but also love coming home to relax and watch Netflix after a busy week. Would be great to live with similar people, feel free to contact me to arrange inspections or if you have any questions!
Hey, I'm Dan and have just moved over from New Zealand to start a job working full-time as a barista in the city. I’m considerate and clean, social and outgoing but also value my personal down time too. I'm out a bit with work and mates, but when I'm home I love to unwind with a quiet drink, watching a film or chilling and reading. I'm quite big on my sport as well and am a avid soccer follower. As a bonus, I can supply the house with delicious coffee! I'm looking for a place with like minded people in either a already established house or getting together with a few people and going into a share house.
I'm an artist from Melbourne. I'm pretty nocturnal and spend most nights awake and sleep in the day. I love painting, gardening and music. I like sharing meals and cooking for others. I'm looking for a place that I can live in and also have a private space to paint and make art. I like loud music but im very respectful of others spaces and try to keep clean and enjoy clean environments. I'm responsible with making sure payments are made on time for rent and bills. I'm obsessed with flowers and gardens and love filling my space with greenery. I don't have any pets but love animals. I'm pretty busy on a daily basis and tend to keep to myself most of the time, but do like socialising every so often over drinks and good food. I find happiness in making other people happy and try my best to please others. Looking for somewhere secure and hopefully longterm. Ready to move in asap pretty much.
