Hey everyone! We're two kind, funny, responsible and outgoing girls from Denmark in Europe who are looking for a place to live in Melbourne for the next 3-4 months. We are exchange students at Swinburne University of Technology. We are of cause very clean and respectful to rules, at the same time we are very social and love to meet new people. Normally we live in Copenhagen where we are studying a master in Digital Design and Communication. Futhermore we both work in the media industry and have a big interest in music, sport, good food and wine. We hope to meet some great people we can enjoy our stay in Melbourne together with. Hopefully, we'll see you :-)
I'm in Melbourne for one last month before going home to Singapore for good! I love singing, though I generally don't sing or play music at home unless my housemates join me. I perform outside occasionally and I love trying new food and exploring new places. Going to miss Melbourne and so I'm staying till the very end of my student visa to enjoy the last bits of beautiful Aussie.
I work most of the time, I will be traveling to Newcastle every 2nd weekend to see my family. I rarely drink alcohol and I don't do drugs. I'm relatively quiet, I'm a car enthusiast and love working on them in my spare time. I'm currently living in my car and using truck stops for the amenities.
I’m an occupational therapist working in an autism school and private practice. I work 2 days a week in geelong so spend a few nights a week down there. I enjoy cooking and eating out with friends, having a wine and a chat along with the usual Netflix binge. I’m easy going and up for a chat after work but also enjoy my own space. I’m neat and tidy and always pull my weight in the household duties.
Working full time in admin for a government agency. I'm tidy and like a clean house. I'm easy going and always up for a chat and happy to chill out together. Looking for about 9 months stay as I have plans to be moving overseas for work.
About me: -Can move in now -27 -Work full time in Collingwood at an environmental company -I like time to myself but also enjoy socialising and would be more than happy to become a part of a sharehouse family -friendly and easy going -reliable with bills and housework -neat and tidy -handy around the house -like to cook on occasion -enjoy hiking/nature and plants -love animals, so pets are no problem -can also bring a washing machine if needed Please reach out if you want to know anything else :)
I'm a music student who has deferred for one trimester looking for a decent place to stay, for at least a year. I'm respectful of others space and keep my space decently tidy. I do smoke occasionally but only outside.
I'm moving to Australia; prefer to live in Melbourne of all places; and looking for an affordable living quarter while I job hunt. Then we'll see :) I am 38 years young :) married with 2 boys. But I will be on my own for time being. No current plans to get the family out here.

I've just signed a lease and moved into a 2 bedroom flat in North Melbourne, currently looking for a second person to fill my spare room - available now. The location is honestly pretty amazing, it's on the third and top floor of a 70s style building. The complex itself has heaps of giant old trees and beautiful gardens surrounding it which are cared for by a gardener. It is a 30 second walk from the 57 tram, a few local fast food joints, a laundromat and a convenience store/bottle shop. The flat has a sunny northern aspect, a giant living area (3.6x6), separate kitchen/dining, toilet and bathroom also separate (honestly so rare SMH) and a good sized sheltered balcony. The room itself has a large built-in wardrobe, a nice big window with trees outside and is roomy enough for a queen, desk etc. There is also a secure car space within the complex for the flat. As I don't have any plans to purchase a car or get a license, this is included with the room.

Hi future flatmate! My name is Alvaro (which is pretty hard to get right the first time). I have been living in Melbourne for the past 6 years although I am originally from Peru (which explains my name). I like to do sports in general like running, soccer and basketball and also enjoy cooking every now and then (not an expert I just lookup up youtube videos and do stuff!). I am always keen for a chat over food (brunch?) and beers and watching movies with friends. Last but not least, I am a very clean person. Unfortunately, my housemate is leaving Australia for good to go back to Europe and I am looking for a cool housemate to share the flat. The flat is a fully furnished (except the room for rent) new apartment. It is very well located, with a tram stop to blocks away and the North Melbourne train station 10 minutes away. There are many gyms and parks nearby where you can stay fit (if you are into that) and it is very close to the CBD which makes it easy to enjoy the city nightlife. I am looking for a housemate in their 20s that enjoys an active lifestyle. Basic house-sharing etiquette is a must but other than that the happier you are the happier the house will be. Anyway I hope hear back from you and let me know if you would like to discuss further! P.D. Everything is furnished except for the room available for rent. Also we have internet even though the ad says no internet available.
Large light-filled private room with ensuite. Available fully furnished with queen bed, desk, chair, wardrobe, and dresser. Close to Melbourne University, Royal Melbourne hospitals, Errol St shops, and Victoria Market. Easy access to the city with tram stop at the end of the street. Includes Netflix, Wifi, and utilities. Quiet, friendly family (mum, dad, and two teenage girls) looking for a kind and considerate flatmate. Vegetarians welcome. Room would suit a professional or post-graduate student. Washing machine Microwave Air conditioning Dishwasher Bicycle shed Quiet location Close to CBD Garden Look forward to hearing from you.
Located within the hip locale of North Melbourne, just a 2 minute walk from the 57 tram stop. This listing is for a lovely private room with a large wardrobe, single bed and private balcony. There is also private court yard. The room will be available to move in on the 08 August. Looking preferably for a long stay flatmate. There will also be a second private bedroom in mid July without a balcony.
Large room with huge built in wardrobe with your private washroom. It's unfurnished so you can make your own stamp on it or the furniture can be arranged upon request. The rest of the apartment is fully furnished with brand new everything and sun filled balcony to soak up the rays. Situated two minutes walk to Tram stop 57 and 10 mins walk to the Macaulay station.
Hi all, I have a large unfurnished room available now in my beautiful newly renovated terrace house on Chapman Street in North Melbourne. The room is big, with BIRs, air-con/heating, and a nice diamond window which looks out over the downstairs back courtyard. The rest of the house is fully furnished, 4 storey, with all new kitchen and appliances, big bathroom with bath and an awesome shower and heating, heaps of storage space throughout, and the dining room is really light filled and opens up with french doors to the courtyard. As I said room is available now, but first rent only due on the 1st. For single tenant rent is $1240pcm/$285pw, bond $1710 Couples rent pcm is $1650pcm/$380pw, bond $2280
Hi all, I'm looking for a wonderful human to join me & my boyfriend in our North Melbourne abode. The 2-bed apartment is super close to the 57 tram, hospitals, errol st, north melbourne station, vic markets, CBD etc etc etc etc It's on the 3rd floor of a building with no lift, so unfortunately wouldn't be good for those with mobility issues. If you want to tone your butt it's great! The room is on the smaller side so would be ideal as a base for a busy person. It fits a queen bed and has a built in wardrobe. The apartment itself is fully furnished except for your room; it’s a light-filled apartment with a huge balcony that gets a lot of westerly sun. Also comes with secure underground car space.
PRIVATE ROOM IN SHARED FLAT - COSY HOUSE W/ ONE HOUSEMATE - IDEAL LOCATION This property is in the perfect location for anyone needing to access the city and all its amenities; just minutes from North Melbourne Station, a short walk to University of Melbourne, or an even shorter tram ride to the Queen Victoria Markets, this shared flat is ideal for students or workers! The property is currently furnished besides your future bedroom, but this is open to discussion if you’re needing a bed for your stay. You will have full access to the secure basement carpark, great for a vehicle and/or pushbikes. Your bedroom has a tall window with privacy and blackout curtains and BIR with full-length mirrors and shelving. You will also have access to a shared linen cupboard and laundry for storage. The unit is on the ground floor, making moving in a breeze, while being raised up above the sidewalk outside (gotta love those Melbourne hills) for some privacy on the balcony. The common area is extremely spacious, with a large carpeted lounge/dining area connected with a tile kitchen. Counter-space is off the charts in the kitchen, and the bathroom is bigger than most in the same price range. The laundry is shared only between this household (so me and you). The property has (very effective) heating and cooling in the lounge area, which has floor-to-roof windows and sliding doors leading to the balcony. Internet and bills are not included in the rent. Internet is split between the two of us at $30 each p/m. Energy is an estimated $45 each p/m (may go up in winter with heating) and water is an estimated $15 each p/m. The household is LGBT+ friendly. The lease demands no pets and no smokers (sorry), with rent paid monthly (internet is monthly, other bills are quarterly-ish). The complex is very secure, with no access to the front courtyard without a key or intercom entry. Students and full-time workers of any age are welcome. Feel free to send me a message to view the property! *Most of the furniture in the lounge area (everything except dining table and chairs) will be leaving with my housemate but probably replaced soon after. Her room will not come with her bed or shelves but a bed can be discussed if you require a furnished room. **The lease for this property ends mid-February. There is the opportunity for the lease to be extended, either with both of us if we get along, or just under your name if you love the place. Your stay length doesn’t matter too much (whether it is shorter or longer than the remaining lease period)!
