Hi there, I’ve recently found a new job as a project consultant in Lane Cove and am in increasing need of a new place to match, with a move from Melbourne to Sydney being problematic without one. Preferably I’d be looking to live within a reasonable distance of work, haven’t thought far beyond that at the moment. I’m a very relaxed person and don’t stress or rush over many things, not too worried about housemates having a similar outlook, I’m sure everything will be manageable. On occasion I’m fairly quiet, other times I’m a little loud but mostly I’ll fall in the middle. Prefer things clean and tidy and I'm sociable while being respectful of others privacy. Would prefer something longer term rather than shorter and I’m open to teaming up. If all sounds good feel free to drop me a message. James
Hi guys, My name is Isabella and I'm a 20 year old student from the Netherlands. I will be doing my 6 months internship in Sydney at the Lane Cove Council. I study Social and Cultural Development at the University in Utrecht. I really like my studies and I'm excited to come to Australia for my Internship. I'm an adventures person who loves to explore, to meet new people and to have a lot of fun! I also live in a shared appartment in Utrecht with some lovely roomies. I love to hang out with them and my friends and make it cosy at home or to go out with everyone. I'm also really into sports and art. I love dancing, snowboarding, skating, surfing and gymnastics. And I also enjoy painting.
I'm clean, easy going, fun to be around, love to laugh and a very considerate house mate. I love to cook, wine and dine. I travel interstate and overseas often on business.
I am a professional Structural Engineer starting a St. Leonard based consultancy from 26th of September. I am 29, Looking for a share house with fun loving and tidy people. I would prefer an off-street parking, a built-in wardrobe and some furniture in the room, but happy to get more furniture later on for the house if required. I am a less kitchen user, occasionally have friends visiting me, pretty routine week days, movies or chatting over a drink..Pretty easy going I would say. Don't hesitate to give me a buzz if that sound's like you.
I'm going to study at Royal North Shore Hospital for 3 weeks (so actually the preferred length of stay is 3 weeks) so am looking for a place during my stay. If you are interested in Japanese culture, I can cook some Japanese foods and tell you about kimonos (I'm a certified kimono teacher). I like playing the piano and traveling :) I speak English ok-fluently so I shouldn't cause you a trouble! If you host me this time, I'll show you around in Japan when you come :)
I'm a 20 y.o. part time working student looking for a room! My lease is going up in December and would love to find some great roommates to share a place with. I'm relaxed, outgoing and quite a homebody! I like to keep my space neat and be considerate to those who live around me. Keen to find the right place for me to live whilst I study and work!

Hi everyone, I am a final year law/psychology student who is currently studying full-time in Canberra. I will be moving to Sydney in December for further studies, so I am hoping to find a place to move in Dec. I am a friendly person but at the same time, I respect other people's privacy as well. Most importantly I am also clean and tidy. I don't party - I spend most of my time studying, eating and sleeping, so there will not be any issue with noise. I have been renting in Sydney and Canberra since 2009 so I understand what it means to be a good housemate - to be courteous, flexible, considerate and respectful of other housemates and of course to pay my rentals on time.
Hello! Looking for a group of chill, fun and tidy girls and guys to flat with. I'm easy going, friendly, clean and fun to have around. I've been living in Melbourne for the past 15 years but I'm starting a new job in January in Sydney so I'm looking to move back as soon as possible.
Work in professional field based at North Sydney. I am neat and tidy, I work long hours and sometimes i work in interstate. Grew up at Central Coast and family still living over there, sometime will spend my weekend over at my family's house. When I'm home I like to tidy the house and keep the place looking great as always, or wonder in the kitchen preparing food for the week. Or else I will be spending time out and about trying out new cafe/restaurant due to I'm a big foodie.
27yr old male working full time for a Sydney formwork company. I love my travel and always get away when I can. I recently got back from a 10 month trip to Europe, before that I was working in the Navy. I enjoy my sports, and having a Social drink and meeting up with friends. Friendly, easy going and reliable to live with.
Hi! I'm a 32 years old brazilian working and studying in Sydney. I'm a veterinarian and work mostly overnights as an emergency vet nurse (so a dark and quiet place to sleep during the day is a must). I'm studying for the National Veterinary Exam to get my vet qualifications reconigse in Australia. I am very friendly, CLEAN and tidy. Love animals, specially cats, so if you have them at home that's a plus =^.^= I'm looking for a respectful, clean, quiet and non-smoker flatmate who likes to chat, share a glass of wine (or beer!) and could become a good friend. I'm very proud of my country but chose Australia to be my new home. Yes, I love the beach and the aussie life-style! Looking foward to hearing from you :)
Hi, I will be moving to Sydney from Brisbane in January 2017 for work. I have run my own share house in Brisbane for the last 6 years so I completely understand the consideration and respect required when sharing a house. I also have two pets, an indoor cat and a 5 year old golden retriever who is very well trained and very lazy, so I will be looking for a place with a yard (can be small) and that will allow my dog to be inside when I am home (I am willing to pay a pet bond if required). I am happy to team up with anyone else looking to rent a place as I already have all furniture and utensils necessary. In the case of finding a room in an existing share house I will have all my own bedroom furniture (and can bring other things if needed). I would prefer to have my own bathroom but can be flexible on that in the right share house. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you would be interested in having me and my beautiful pets as roomies :-).
Tom - I work full time as a Solicitor in the city. Enjoy a beer, like to keep fit, watch sports, play video games, read etc. Try to keep active where i can. I enjoy cooking and i'm easy to get along with. Looking for like-minded housemates. Emily - Originally from the UK, working full time in the city for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. I enjoy watching movies and going to the theatre. Known to bake a cake or two every now and then. I'm easy to get on with and am very laid-back. Looking for housemates to enjoy a glass of wine with after a tough day at work.
I am open and communicative man with good manners and tidy habits. The major part of the day I am spending on work outside the flat. Afternoons and nights, if I'm not outside, I will probably spend reading books and listening to music. The next period until the arrival of my family (July/August 2017) I would like to share flat expenses with a flatmate with whom I can achieve good communication. During daytime over some weekend I wish if there are a possibility to host my friends (everything would be previously agreed).
Young, easy going, neat and tidy. Working full time monday to friday hours 730-4, enjoy all water sports and a quite drink here and there. Enjoy cooking a meal or going for a good chicken schnitzel time to time
I am a 23 year old graphic designer who works full time in the CBD. I generally am quiet and have a pretty strict routine on weekdays working 9-5 and don't party to go out on weekdays. Similarly, my weekends aren't crazy and I would prefer to have a nice dinner party at home to going out all night. I love to cook and have a quiet glass of wine, binge on tv series and potter about in the garden. I do have a dog; a greyhound named Mandela who would need to be welcomed in to the house and other members willing to be a part of his life as well. Move date is not accurate. Just put in for mandatory purposes; I'm flexible
Hi, I am a young, fit 55, semi-retired and work Friday and Saturday nights. I enjoy pleasant conversation and healthy cooking. I am happy staying to myself and am respectful of other's privacy. I like reading, the gym and fine dining. I am looking for a place close to the city and am not restricted to the suburbs I have highlighted.
Hi! I'm Stacey, a 25 year old female working in North Sydney as an Account Manager at a Data Analytic company. During the week I am very much a routine person, and consider myself quiet and respectful but open to socializing with flatmates as well. A BBQ or quiet drink in the evening or on weekends is great! I love music (my piano is back home in New Zealand) and art (I love to paint). Weekends are typically spent with friends. I enjoy getting outdoors and going for a drive and a hike, or heading to the beach in summer to read; swim and relax. I'm currently living in Wollstonecraft with one female and two males. We've been here for two years and everyone has recently decided to split up the flat. I have my own bedroom furniture, but no large white wear or common furniture. I'm also looking for parking either off-street, or residential street parking. I need to be out of my current place by Monday 7th of November, so am looking for something within the next 2 weeks.
Hi everyone, I'm reliable, quiet as a rule, clean and respectful of others. Up for a laugh, and realise there's a time and place for everything. I'm fit and generally active, non smoker and light/often non drinker. Love animals (if you've got one or some) but don't have any of my own. I'm self employed as a handyman around lane cove area and also studying architecture online, this keeps me busy enough atm. Think that's all! Cheers Michael
I'm a fun-loving, but reasonably quiet young professional (female) that's moved to Sydney from New Zealand. I work in consulting. Of Indian origin, I've grown up/lived in NZ for the past 16 years (for those who like to know this sort of info!!). I love to explore, learn (proud geek!), love food - eating and cooking, keen to know about different cultures. Honest, fun, outgoing, easy to get along with, clean & tidy and I know that rent and bills need to be paid on time! :) While I am not a party animal, I love to get out. Certainly not the 'always in my room' kind of person, but I do enjoy quiet time as I will be working from home on occasion! I have a mature outlook on life, can get a bit philosophical (!!), can chat about most topics, enjoy healthy discussion, but definitely respect others' views and privacy. Happy to kickback with TV or a book or just music and a chat! I intend to make Sydney my home for the foreseeable future. Keen to find like-minded people who are welcoming, friendly and keen to meet someone new!
Iain, 29, British. Here working as a bricklayer. Just been sponsored by my firm so looking to spend the next couple of years at least out here in Australia.
Looking for a comfortable, quiet space close to work. Currently renting in Neutral Bay (short term) I am a conscientious roommate, always happy to pitch in wherever needed, will give others their privacy but happy to be there at the end of the work day for a good rant. Studying at Macquarie University and working most other days, often overnights, I happy to share space with women or men.

Hi There! We've recently moved to the Lower North Shore suburb of Woolwich. Where is Woolwich? Good question, I had no idea about this suburb until I found this flat! Woolwich is located 11 kilometres north-west of the Sydney CBD. It take 25 minutes to reach Circular Quay via Ferry (amazing views of the Harbour on your way in!) and about 40 minutes via bus. Woolwich has a really nice village-y feel to it, there are a few cafe's and an award winning pub with some of the best views of the city skyline. It's very leafy and has great harbour walks. I'm thinking about getting a paddle board for the summer as there is a boat launch at the bottom of the street! I'm loving this area, after living in Sydney from Bondi to Leichardt, Woolwich is by far the most chilled out and underrated suburb. If you want to feel like your living on an island sanctuary but still close to city this is the place! The Flat: Has three bedrooms, water views and is recently renovated, timber flooring, modern kitchen and bathroom. The flat is: - furnished, - kitchen has all modern appliances - there is an internal laundry and dryer - ADSL2 broadband So to the room! The room has a bed and is the smallest of the three. The room has water views, a garment rack and double bed. To us - you're awesome flatties! We're are Eryn and Michael - we are not a couple! Eryn - I'm 33yo and work as an Engagement Manager at a children's cancer charity. Michael - I'm 27yo recently moved to Sydney from Melbourne and work in Communications & PR. We are looking for a flatmate who is chilled and respectful, who has their own life, but who doesn't mind having a chat, netflix binge or a "faux family" meal + vino from time to time :) We are are both pretty clean and tidy but not pedantic about putting things away, so the flat does look lived in. As long as there is equal share of cleaning the common areas, its all good. We also do have friends that pop in from time to time, so your friends are welcome too :) but we are definitely not a party house... We are both easy going and approachable and are looking for someone like-minded that will be able to talk about any issues if they do come up. Eryn - I have also two cats, both keep to themselves and are totally chill... They will only seek affection if they want a cuddle i.e they're both typical cats ;) Looking forward to hearing from you! :) Eryn & Michael
Looking for a place to live? Are you a decent human being? Do you love Bunnings? Perfect, we have bedroom in a share house in Artarmon that will be available from 6th November. What we're looking for: We want someone that we're going to be mates with, that is happy to hang out and watch TV, that doesn't mind having guests over or a living room that doubles as a craft space. Bonus points if you bring a TV and microwave to the table. Also, paying rent on time and doing your share of household duties is important too... but anyone can lie about that. As long as you're not a slob or you're not going to stress about the mug that's been sitting on the bench for a day, I'm sure we'll be fine. Ideally you would be 20-30, have a stable job and are a non-smoker. Sorry, no couples and no room sharers. The specifics: The room is unfurnished and carpeted. Rent is $180 a week (paid fortnightly), plus bills and $20/month internet. Bond is $840. We're in a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom townhouse with a small courtyard. The rest of the place is furnished, so you only need furniture for your room. We’re renting it directly from the owner, so no need to deal with pesky real estate agents! We’re a short walk to both Artarmon and St Leonards’ stations where you can get a train into the city in 15 minutes. We're also right off the Pacific Highway with bus stops that will take you everywhere. And a stone's throw away from Bunnings. You're probably wondering "Why is this place so cheap?" Good question. Other than being Bunnings adjacent, the area isn’t the most neighbourly, but it’s quiet, its perfectly safe, there is ample parking and we like to think it’s keeping us humble! A little about us: We’re two females, 25 and 27, one working in bio-medical sciences and one in marketing. There is also a 2 year old cat in the mix, unemployed. Also, we occasionally dog-sit so you must love dogs (tolerating them is okay too, I guess). Please send us a message telling us about yourself and we can arrange a time for you to come and check out the house and meet us! -Ash and Kat.
Are you a Christian female looking to make a positive life move in time for the new year? A beautiful and spacious 'room with a view' will be available from mid-December 2016 in our good-sized Greenwich apartment near the harbour foreshore, looking out towards Cockatoo Island. We are 4 mins' walk from a beautiful bay in a quiet area with Greenwich Road shops (including a Campos 4 Beans Cafe, post office, pharmacy and IGA supermarket) round the corner. Greenwich Baths with its lovely beach and cafe is 10 mins' walk. The room could be furnished or unfurnished; if furnished, this means I would sell you my furniture as I am moving back to the UK - we would need to discuss this. The great thing is that you could easily have a room with everything you need ready to welcome you! Furniture: pretty, double bed IKEA frame; quality mattress; linen for both it and a single bed I used to have; two small IKEA rugs; a beautiful antique iron baker's rack which I use for my books etc.; two small bedside tables; a wicker waste paper basket; a wicker laundry basket; a bedside lamp; extensions leads; one chair that belongs to the room. The clothing rack I use belongs to the landlord who lives upstairs. The wardrobe also belongs to the room as far as I'm aware. Transport: bus stop (265) is very close; Wollstonecraft station is 15 minutes' walk; Greenwich hourly ferry service to the CBD is 15 minutes' walk. There is also a commuter catamaran direct to the CBD in 10 minutes from a wharf near the bay in the picture. The rest of the apartment has everything you need (fridge, vacuum cleaner, iron/ironing board, washing machine, dishwasher etc. though no TV - but we actually like it that way! I'm not sure we'd be anti having one but certainly we prefer a peaceful atmosphere to blasting Channel 7 through Mission speakers every night for hours on end...We watch movies/TV on our laptops). There is a garden at the back and a front yard too. The back is greener and has some furniture. We grow herbs and some plants and flowers. My flatmates include an Australian girl from Ballarat who works part-time as a nanny and the rest of the time is very creative in terms of painting, making curtains or whatever...The other one of us is Russian, studying part-time, and a naturopath by day. We don't actually see each other much as our schedules are quite different but sometimes we do like to eat dinner and watch a movie together when we coincide! We keep a clean and peaceful home and don't do mega parties every weekend or anything (sometimes though ;) !), and we have people round to dinner occasionally. For my part, this is not because I don't like parties - I just don't know many people in Sydney compared to London! We are all female. We are practising Christians so it would be nice - though not absolutely essential - to find someone likeminded...We would like someone between the ages of 23 and 45.
Quiet neighbourhood and close to transport and shops. House is an old character-filled semi which was renovated 10 years ago. It is fully furnished and the spare bedroom can be furnished or unfurnished. All utilities - electricity, water, cleaning and garden maintenance included in rent. Off-street parking is safe - street is very wide.
This is a beautiful house with a pool. It's a 2 minute walk to the supermarket, Cafe's, restaurants, gymnasium, bikram yoga, swimming pool and bus interchange. The bus takes less than 10 minutes to the city. Flatemates are very nice, we all enjoy being healthyLarge room

Always up to socialise and hanging out in weekend going to the beach movie or travel around discover new areas. Non smoker, Never bring party home, Mostly quiet at home but also up for a chat, watch movies and share food every now and then.
Hello, my name is Lisa. I'm 27 years old and work full time in Retail. I'm looking for a home that could accommodate myself and my Shih Tzu x called Audrey. I am ideally looking for a nice home with a balcony at least but a backyard would be optimal. I'm very easy going, and like to do my own thing. But I think having a good relationship with your housemates is a must. Home to me is my sanctuary and somewhere I can come at the end of the day and totally relax with good conversation and a wine. Audrey is 8 years old with a happy nature. She is excited when people come home and will jump up to say hello, but will soon calm down and wait patiently for her afternoon walk. I am currently in a house where she stays outside during the day while I am at work, but as we don't have outdoor shelter, when it rains she will happily spend the day inside curled up on my bed. She is toilet trained, doesn't slobber, doesn't molt, barks occasionally when excited, loves other animals (including cats) and she brings an energy to the house that I couldn't live without! I am looking for a housemate who is easy going, sociable but also likes to do their own thing. A good housemate for me is someone who will keep the common living areas generally tidy, but is not OCD about keeping this way
I am a 30 year old Melbournian that has spent the last year in Paddington and am looking for a change. I will be work full time in the city for an education provider and generally work late hours. To be honest you probably won't see too much of me during the week as I will be getting home around 11pm-12am each night. I am a clean and tidy person, conscious of being quiet when I am coming home late and a terrible cook (I do not really use the kitchen at all). Given my work hours I am looking for a place that is really close to public transport (and relatively close to the city in any direction) In my spare time I will be doing some post-graduate study which means I'll most likely be procrastinating by watching docos, going to the beach or reading some non uni related books.
