If you are looking at the Eastern Shore of Hobart, consider Primrose Sands. I commute to Mornington most days and find it's worth it for the stunning water views and lifestyle that goes with this pretty area. We have a large general store, or the IGA and other shops in Dodges Ferry. I stop at Sorrel on the way home for my main shop. I offer free wi-fi and Netflix, choice of bedroom, full furnished (flexible on this), some gym gear, plenty of private chillout spaces and a super friendly dog. This is a drug-free and drama-free household and I'd like to keep it that way. Smoking strictly on the balcony or downstairs. Must be a huge dog fan.
Hi there, My partner Jenna and I have recently bought and are looking to rent out the two bedroom flat on the first level of our house. We are situated right on the beach and have direct access outside our front yard. We have two amazing dogs (German shepherds), Albi and Harley who are terrific guard dogs, however are the most loyal, friendly, loving dogs you will meet. We’re happy to share our outside area and ask that you keep in mind that the property will be a working environment with gardening and home renovations happening in 2018. These will not interrupt your living arrangements :), however ask that you keep it in mind if I’m out mowing the lawn or attempting to knock down a wall :) We are very respectful towards those who live with us and will ensure transparency when anything comes up. We are very open, welcoming and happy people who love a laugh and good food, music and time with those around us. We’re hoping to find people who enjoy their own space but don’t mind an invite to join in on a bbq every now and then if you like. Buses run along the street and it is a 6minute walk to local grocery shops, coffee/bakery stops and eatery’s with doctors, pharmacies, bottle shops and restaurants a short 2 minute drive away. Driving into the CBD takes APPROX 18-22minutes and the airport is 18minutes away. If there is just 1 renter looking to apply we’d ask for $200 per week, however if there is 2 renters we’d ask $150 each per week (equaling $300 combined). Just message if you’re not sure :) We hope to meet you and see what you think of our amazing house and location. Please feel free to contact us anytime :)
Looking for another couple or two singles to share a place with. Andrew is a super social extrovert, loves going out, bushwalking and meeting new people. Works casually, studies full time. I'm (Hannah) an introvert. I like quiet environments, curling up in the couch for a night in but still really enjoy being around people. Works full time. We have a fluffy ginger cat named Stewie. He's never had a problem with other animals, toilet trained, and rarely misbehaves.
Master bedroom with small ensuite. $240 for a couple. Has a spa but not in use. Hand held shower in ensuite or you can use the main one. Very large walk in wardrobe with cube shelves. Room opens onto deck. You dont even have to go through the house. Very close to beach, shop and bus stop.
We are a couple looking for a a great place to live. My boyfriend and I met in Canada while he was over on a working holiday visa. Now I'm over here on my working holiday visa. We are looking to explore around Tasmania taking in all the sites while still having a cozy home to come back to while working. We love to cook. We mostly keep to ourselves but also down to hang out with good friends from time to time.
Hi there, I plan to move to Hobart to pursue further education in Medicine at UTas. I have been living in shared houses for many years and love to meet new people. I am originally from Melbourne however i would be moving to Tasmania from Boston, Massachusetts. Studying medicine, i would prefer staying with other graduates / health sciences professionals; I am extremely clean, love to explore new places and plan to travel around the Island. I like being social but also prefer to have time to myself, to study and would prefer living with those that appreciate a clean house.
I'm very friendly and love people, love a good cook-up and chilling out too! Can talk about almost anything, but leave you alone when you need quiet too ;) I'll be needing plenty of alone time as a fast-track nursing student anyway. I am a disabilty support worker, non-smoker, neat and tidy around the home. I have a gorgeous 6yr old labrador I either can bring with me or leave with my folks if you can't have her, but trust me, you'd be missing out ;)
Hi there. So I am moving to Hobart for a new job and a new life. I will be working for the State Government and am on the search for another professional that would like a nice place to share that gives us enough room to be comfortable but still feel like a home. A little about myself - 30 years old - Professional and budget savvy but happy to pay for confortability - happy to sit and watch tv or go for a walk or explore the surrounds or after work drinks or trivia night or hang out in my own room - Doggo will be coming to live with me once I have a house ready for him A little bit about doggo - Borris by name BoBo by nickname - 7 years old - Australian bulldog - lazy by nature - little rolly but is told he's beautiful - doesn't bark (sometimes at butterflys) - doesn't dig - brought up with 3 little dogs and 3 cats so he has respect and love for both If any of this sounds like something you would like to live with let me know and we can have a chat about it. 😊
Ola, weird gal from Queensland, 24, got my feed of city life after living in melbournia for several years and am ready to move on. Beginning study at UTAS in Feb, work hospo currently but hoping to get out eventually. Pretty flexible on move date, pretty much between now and end of jan. I'm pretty laid back as long as everyone is putting in/doing fair share ect. Clean as hell, respectful, bit of a home body; love cooking, eating, gym, climbing, animals, playing music, camping/hiking and reading. Always up for a bit of a chat but need alone time as well. Like parties occasionally but it's not really what I want to be surrounded by when I'm at home trying to relax or study etc. Definitely important we get along but in saying that I'm pretty easy going and honest so as long as we can have a normal conversation we'll be sweet. Can be annoying due to aloofness, inability to remember things people say and non-apologetic cackle laugh. Sorry. Thoughtful and abrasive. Ups to free speech and diversity. ok i think this enough, peace
I'm currently studying my Master's at UTAS, have been living in Kingston since February 2017 but I'm looking for a new home away from home for 2018. Something a little more central would be ideal. I'm a pretty easy going guy, quiet, friendly, clean and respectful of others' space. When I'm not studying (which is most of the time) I enjoy music, watching films, playing sport and exercising (running/gym). I don't smoke or have any pets, 1 car which I am happy to street park where required. If you have anything available that you think I'd be suited to, flick me a message and we can organise something, cheers.
Hi! I'm an apprentice hairdresser at Sfumato Hair (2nd year), working full time. I love video games, motorbikes, playing guitars (quietly!), and anything directed by Edgar Wright. - If you guys feel like hanging out I'm usually keen, but if not I'm perfectly happy to put my headset on and stare at a screen for several hours. - I am currently working Mon-Fri so I can only come in to check out houses from 7pm and onwards on those days (free on weekends). - Don't have any pets but I love them all the same. - My only real requirement is to have a spot to put my PC desk that is close to an ethernet port (wifi doesn't really cut it, sadly). - Had about half a year of out of home living so far and haven't had any issues at all from any roommates or neighbours yet :) - Feel free to add me on facebook

I'm 19, just finishing up my gap year; still working part time and studying full time this year. I'm after a room preferably in a share house not too far away from Clarence or the CBD. I'm friendly, neat, respectful and don't mind a couple drinks on the weekends. Feel free to ask me anything!
