Nice, reasonably quiet place with decent views. Close to Heritage Forest and the levy bank, which makes it an easy ride/walk to UTAS Inveresk campus. Bed not included in room, sorry. Room will only fit a single bed (unless you don't care about being able to move). Parking in the driveway/carport may be possible depending on schedules.
Hey there! Looking for a room to rent while work has me relocated to Launceston for 5-6 months. I'm mature, clean and tidy, employed full time, and am also studying at university. Because of the study, I’ll have my head down the majority of the time, but might surface for a beer or glass of red on a Friday. I own a home in Adelaide with my partner, but can provide a reference from the last place I leased - we were there for over 4 years. Animal friendly, and happy to take dog(s) for a run when I can. Non-smoker. I like the outdoors and going to the gym. Off street parking would be great if possible. Only need a bed as far as furniture goes, or can figure it out. Looking to move in at the end of January until around mid-July. Cheers! Alex
Optimistic person from France who loves hiking, taking photos, cooking, discovering new people! Arriving to Launceston to do a PhD at AMC, starting December 1st! Looking forward to hearing back from you guys with offers. Thanks!
G'day! I'm from Launceston, looking to move out of home. I'm easy-going, neat, calm, and for the most part, quiet. This year I'll be working in environmental conservation, so I'll be a help in the garden. Cheers :)
Hi, I am moving to Tassie for study on my own. Looking for a single room. I am pretty easy going, clean, neat and quiet.
Hi there! We're a full time student couple moving from Brisbane to Launceston. We dont mind the suburb as long as it's easy to get to uni from public transport. Trent is quiet, clean, and enjoys video games, tv, books, movies, a few drinks and chats. He's studying medical science at UTAS. Ellie is bubbly and fun. She enjoys chatting with people, playing the ukulele, playing video games and going on adventures (long walks). She's studying zoology at UTAS. We're both clean, respectful and lovely to be around. We hope to hear from you soon. :)
PLEASE NOTE: EARLIEST MOVE IN DATE - 15/2/2018 I'm 28, from regional Victoria and currently work for the Victorian Government as a senior transport planner. I'm looking for a place to call home as I am moving to Launceston, TAS to work with one of the country's best engineering and planning firms. Ideally I'm looking for a house, townhouse or even an apartment with a view to move into preferably by mid to end of February. As long as there's a decent pub or two in the neighbourhood, a decent supermarket down the road, somewhere to get bearably decent coffee in the morning and the house/apartment is secure and not broken into every second day I'm open to pretty much anyone who might want to share a house with me. I'm single, gay, tidy, pay all of my bills and rent on time (if not in advance) and extremely chill/relaxed. I also have no issues living with pets and love dogs. As far as interests go, whilst I was finishing my masters at Melbourne Uni I was working for Lion Nathan at the Little Creatures and White Rabbit breweries in Geelong, Victoria so needless to say, I enjoy most things beer - especially a couple of froffs socially. Enjoy my rugby (union - the Queensland Reds and Melb. Rebels), travelling (in my own backyard and abroad), skiing, good music (esp. live), design (industrial, graphic and architecture) and of course urban planning and politics. Cheers, Josh
The room available is unfurnished with a built-in robe. The property is a 3 Brd townhouse in the CBD with a 5-minute walk to Coles, Kmart, Central Park, and 10-15minutes walk to literally everything else in town. There is a bus stop at the front door. Only I and my 3 indoor only cats will be living at the property with you. You would only be sharing the guest bathroom with visitors and the rest of the house is completely furnished (with plenty of space to be filled). NBN internet is available. Potentially the 3rd bedroom could also be rented. I also have an automatic car I won't mind lending out.

The house has a great location. It is really close to the tranquil UTAS campus of Launceston (5 minutes' walk). Shopping is easy here, just walk for 10 minutes and you're at Coles, Woolworths or Target. Transportation is also easy here, we have a bus stop right across the road. The house is also pretty close to the highway. 5 minutes' drive to down town Launceston and you can get to all the North-eastern scenery spots within an hour. The house is all furnished and all kinds daily necessities are available. Kitchen is shared. Feel free to use any of the equipment in there. You will also share the washing machine with you flatmates but they don't use the machine much. The room is furnished with a single bed, a desk and a wardrobe. Hi guys, I am moving to Launceston at the end of Jan or early Feb to continue my study at UTAS. Hoping to find like-minded person who wants to share the house or team up to find a nice and cosy place to live. I go to the gym regularly to achieve my fitness goal and spend quite a lot of time in my studying at the library. If this sounds good, please do not hesitate to contact me:) Hope to hear from you soon.
hello.. my name is Kayla. i am currently a fourth year apprentice chef. i love to cook and cook for others. i am easy going and a clean tidy person. i do not mind a knock off drink and being social. i am respectful and will understand people's personal space. i have lived in shared accomadtion before so i can understand what living with other people are like. in my free time i like to go out and explore new places, go on road trips and photography.
Hey! Im Eb. I’m in my Second year as an Apprentice Chef but am looking forward to taking some time off over the Summer and working in Hospitality on a casual basis and commencing study in Feb at UTAS. I'm a super chilled person to live with as I mostly keep to myself, but will happily chuck the kettle on and have a coffee with you and ask about your day. I love music so i'm always finding gigs to go to and listening to music. Don’t worry - I don’t blast it through the house. I've lived in share houses before so I understand the shared responsibilities that come with sharing accommodation. I’m very respectful of other people’s space just as I expect the same in return. I love animals - so if you have a dog, I will probably pay more attention to him/her than what I will to you, don’t get offended! I don’t have a preference, although I do prefer to live with males. Only for the fact I find men easier to get along with and find we generally have more similar interests. I’m not a girly girl. If you think we might hit it off - send me a message nd i’d love to chat.
