My name's Natalie. I'm a 25 year old single female. I currently work in inner north in the health and welfare industry. I graduated ANU in psychology a few years back. I'm a vegan, which in a share house setting generally translates to me buying my own food and cooking my own meals. I am happy living in a non-vegan house and respect everyone's right to eat what they want. As a housemate I really value communication, transparency, honesty and equality. I like having a lot of my own me time: meditating, writing, doing Tai Chi and reading. I also love bush walking particularly around Namadgi and would love to get into kayaking more. On the weekends I often go to food/farmers markets and different artsy/cultural events in Canberra. I value having chats and socialising. I would not want a share house where individuals are isolated entities hiding in their bedrooms. I want to live in a house where people are happy to sit around the communal areas and feel comfortable with themselves and each other. As a housemate I am honest, communicative, I don't do drama or power plays, and you know where you stand with me. I am gentle and warm and a little bit quirky in my sense of humour. I like to keep the house tidy but I'm not someone who keeps the place overly pristine. I also love baking and cooking and am happy to share. I am happy living with both males and females. I would like to live in a house or duplex. I would not be up for an apartment or townhouse. If the environment allows I would love to have a veggie garden. I would be super happy living in a house which has a pet. I do not have a pet. I love a homely house and really value it having character and warmth (both metaphorically and literally). I am looking for a stable home and ideally hoping to settle for a while. As such I would like to move into a house which is settled and not a fly in fly out vibe. I have my own furniture for my bedroom meaning I would require my room to be unfurnished. Additionally I have a few small things such as little side tables which I would like to put in the main part of the house if suitable. Currently I am flexible with move in date but need to allow time to notify my current landlord upon finding a suitable place. Before moving into a house I wish to catch up several times. I feel that living with other people is a very personal thing and value spending time getting clear as to if we would be compatible. I would wish for those who I am living with to also value this.
Hey, folks! How are you? My name is Enzo Lenine and I am Brazilian PhD Candidate of Political Science. I will be moving to Canberra by the beginning of June for a 4 -month internship at ANU. I am currently for a place to share, ideally with a furnished room and an equipped kitchen. I am globetrotter myself and have already lived in different places in Brazil and Europe. I am very easy-going and love to share moments with my friends and roommates. I also like cooking and would be glad to cook to my roommates. Looking forward to hearing from you! Regards, Enzo Lenine
Hey guys! My names Dave Montgomery. I'm a car salesman and I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne at the start of June. I'm very relaxed, I'd consider myself more if a home body. But I love going out for wines and dinners. I hope I'm a good fit for your home, not sure what else to say!
I'm a International student from China. I'm going to study Digital Art in ANU. I want to find a separate room which is not too far from Uni or traffic Convenient. I can cook chinese Intermediate dishes and some uncomplicated Japanese food. If you want I can responsible for our dinner : )
A fun and respectful Asian guy Just moved from Melbourne and I'll be working full-time at Kokomo's. Full-time chef and Part-time Snowboard racer. Clean, tidy and organised but not crazy. Will have to be in Canberra for at least 2 years. And I'll need a parking spot. I also have Netflix :p
I am currently studying at the Canberra SOA and working a casual position in Gungahlin. I am looking for a comfortable house to move into and hopefully stay a while. I currently live in a share house of 3, the other 2 being males and am looking to move out by may 15th. I'm clean, kind and respectable of both your space and mine. I enjoy cooking, guitar and many other things. I am reliable for rent payments and very self contained. Please feel free to message me and ask questions :) Thanks, Carman
Hi, I am currently studying at Canberra Makeup Academy. I also work part time. I like being social and hanging out on the weekends but stay pretty quiet during the week. I am friendly and easy to get along with so would like to live with people the same. I really love travelling, going on adventures and doing new things. :) I am new to Canberra so would love to make some new friends.
We Sylvia and Eldon, and we're are looking for a large bedroom or a 1 room apartment to rent starting in early July. We both work and study (final year of undergrad with plans for honours) and we'll be excellent room-mates/tenants. If we're sharing, we'd be keen to hang with our new housemate(s), become good friends and cook together etc. We're looking for a place near ANU, ideally Braddon/Turner/Civic, or even New Acton. Price negotiable, depends what your place is like! I'm posting now because we'll both be overseas in June, hopefully someone out there want to line up a tenant early for July move in!
Sporty fun guy who loves to camp and travel. Moving up to Canberra for work (unsure when, expecting mid/end year 2017). Looking for a clean, relaxed, friendly room mate who wouldn't mind showing me around Canberra and introducing me to some people. I'm the typical 20 year old male, don't mind a beer, outdoors, adventure, a surf and a bloody good parma. Just finished a three year degree in nursing and will be working pretty heavily over the next couple years to work my way up the ranks. Ahh I don't know what else to write so hit me up if you think we would get along or just keen to catch up when I move up there anyway.
Hi, I'm David 21 living in Sydney. I'm looking at relocating to Canberra for work. I'm very easy to get along with and can hold a genuine conversation. Hard working and always keep my space clean and tidy up after myself. I can cook (basic). Very light smoker and have the occasional drink. Prefer to stay home and relax watching tv or a movie.
Fun and sociable, clean and considerate. Love to meet new people! I study history part-time at ANU and work in hospitality. I enjoy cooking, all types of fitness, reading and going to art galleries! Looking to move closer to my work and uni life as well as live in a fun, friendly household
Hi im an international transfer student studying at ANU for a year (3rd year). Im from Scotland, UK studying chemistry at Heriot watt back in Scotland, im looking for somewhere quiet ideally but with sociable roommates as im coming over alone and wont know anyone looking from this july to next potential until August 2018
Hi! My name is Bek and I'm a first year arts student at ANU. I moved to Canberra at the beginning of this year from Mildura in regional Victoria. I am your typical uni student on a tight budget. I am studying Japanese, Hindi and English Literature within my degree. I am also quite musical- I mainly play the piano but I can't really carry that around with me so I have to compensate with a guitar and a ukulele. I would prefer a place with no smoking and that is kept tidy. I am extremely easy to get along with and love to unwind with a glass (or half a bottle) of wine after uni to 'help me study'. I don't really have a preference as to which suburb in Canberra. Let me know if you have a cheap room you want to rent out or if you are looking to start a new house share.
Hey there! I'm Stella 🌻 I have recently moved to Canberra and am living in a share house, but am looking to change it up a little. I'm living in abit of a bachelor pad and would much rather find someone and share an apartment. I work full time but love going.out and am really social. I'm really condicderate of other peoples space and am really tidy. I would love to live somewhere where we can dance around having a really good time some nights then others sit in front of a movie drinking tea. If you are interested in setting up a cute little apartment with me please do send me a message.
Happy, easy going, clean, enjoy cooking, reliable - especially with rent & bills. Moving from Sydney to Canberra to be closer to family. I have a precious motorbike as well as a car so some garage space for the bike and some tools would be appreciated. Thanks for looking at my profile.
I am from Melbourne and have lived in a few share houses during my time here while I was studying my undergrad degree and when I was working full time. I am looking for accommodation for a student about to start his Masters degree at ANU. I enjoy cooking, board games, card games, reading, and computer games. I’m generally a quiet, private person but do enjoy socialising and having a few glasses of wine or beer.
