I am in my final year at ANU, and my friend and I are looking to find a place to live. We are looking for a three bedroom place that is close to ANU but also to Dickson and would love to either find someone with 2 spare rooms or find a roommate to join us in a new house. We are both friendly, clean people who enjoy a chat over wine or a movie but also respect everyones space and need for time alone. Ideally we would like to move in in late November. If you are interested in joining us send me a message
I am a Canberra local who enjoys staying fit, music and travel. I am respectful of others and like to keep a clean and tidy household. I work full-time in IT and have active social life. I am easy going and like to get to know people but i'm also happy doing my own thing. I would be interested in teaming up to rent a house as I already have my own furniture and appliances. I am available from early November.
Hi, I'm a postgraduate student looking to share a place with sociable people (no worries, I also have great respect for private space). I prefer gathering and hanging out with friends for a round of drink every now and then over wild party nights. A casual chat at home while sharing a drink will also do the trick--add some video games and sports in the mix too! Cheers!
Hi, I'm Phoebe, a first year ANU student. I'm studying PPE and Art History and work a part time job which keeps me pretty busy. I'm looking for a place with my friend Alastair, also a student. We're both clean and respectful people who are open to sharing dinner and a glass of wine but also having our own space :)
I am looking to sub-lease my single bedroom in O'Connor over the Summer. I live with 5 other great housemates in O'Connor - a young suburb that is very close to the ANU campus, gym, O'Connor shops and nightlife in Canberra that is an easy walk or bike ride away. We have a large kitchen and common area, and the house is around 4 years old. There is a great outdoor dining space too, and the house is tiled so it will be nice and cool in the hot Canberra summer. My room has a double bed (although you will need to provide sheets) as well as a desk, chair, and clothes rack, plus a large window that looks onto our tiny backyard and lets in some beautiful sunlight throughout the day! At least one other housemate will be staying in the house over the break. Looking for a clean and tidy tenant who will enjoy the big open spaces in our house. This is an ideal room for a student or intern undertaking an internship over the summer period. Please note that $110 rent per week does not include utilities or internet. We split the bills according to who is in the house, and so a small amount for utilities and internet is needed in addition. It is estimated that you will need to pay $25 per month on top of rent to cover internet, water, gas and electricity.
I'm currently studying full-time at UC and working two part-time jobs. I have been living in Canberra for nearly a year coming from the Central Coast. I like to be social and chat but also understand the line of wanted privacy. I am clean and willing to pitch in where as needed. I'm quite easy going and enjoy having or good laugh or listening to some good tunes.
Hi, I'm Cameron, 24, and I'm moving up to Canberra to start a new job. I've lived in Melbourne my whole life, and in the past, I've been at uni studying chemistry and graduated with my Masters. The two things I spend the most resources would be travel and music. I like getting outdoors too, and always up for trying new things. I stay on top of mess, and do actually like cooking. I consider myself a social person, but considerate of others' space.
Working full time, friendly female Asian would like to share a house with someone who is reliable and clean as I am often going away. Ideally, I prefer muture PHD student. It's perfect for a post-grad student or visiting academic looking for short to medium-term accommodation, but I am open to anyone as long as they meet my requirement. There are 3 nice, spacious double bed rooms house with all built in wardrobe, a lovely private courtyard, a large sunny dining room combines kitchen and a big sunny lounge room. Bath room is separate with toilet. The room is sunny with a big windows, it's fully furnished with double bed (included bed sheet, pillow). The rent includes bills such as water, gas, electricity, internet and bicycle provided. There is a short walking distance to anywhere. It's in the central of the city. It’s ideal for student who is study at the ANU, UC or CIT or work in the city or surrounding area. Bus stop is in front of the house, 10 minute walk or cycle to ANU, walk to shops, bars, restaurants, national reserved park. Please send short email or text to tell a bit about yourself or call to organise an inspection. I will send the pix by email. Thank you. Thank you and look forward to having you! PS . Short term under 3 months will be $260/w, up to 6 - 9 months will be $250w.
What makes me great to live with? The generosity with which I share my wine! But seriously, I'm later year ANU student looking for a place to call home in 2017. Currently solo backpacking around Europe, so I guess I could call myself independent, but also friendly and down to earth. Have share-housed a couple of times before, and spent the last six months in hostels, so I'm keenly aware of being a considerate housemate. (Email/website is currently best contact)
My name is Brendan, I am 19, currently studying at the ANU (Development Studies and International Security). I used to live in France and have traveled quite a bit! I currently live in university accommodation but am very much looking forward to having my own space, as I'm not an avid every Thursday night drinker like most people in college haha! I work part-time at BWS and at the Canberra Olympic Pool.
I work full time in government like most people in this town. I enjoy cycling, bars, road trips, and smashed avo brunches. I'm clean, easygoing and respectful of others' space. All the good things you want in a housemate. Active outside the house but am always happy to chat over dinner or a glass of wine! Available to move in anytime between now and November 13!
HEY! I'm neat, clean, quiet. I'm good with house work and chores, not afraid to take on some responsibilities. I'm great with pets, especially dogs. I'm just interested to get on with my studies , explore Canberra, and focus on working on things that will get me somewhere in life. =)
From day-to-day, I love to cook, be healthy, practice yoga, go for runs, watch movies, read, and listen to music. Less day-to-day, I enjoy travelling abroad and road-tripping at home. I'm from Canberra, but have lived in the USA as a dual citizen; currently studying human rights and development studies at the ANU while working on the side. Also passionate about the environment and responsible consumerism.
I recently graduated from ANU with an Honours in Geography and now I'm hanging out in Canberra just having a seriously lovely time. I'm into climate justice and poetry, and I like summer evening bike rides and I've just re-discovered Nick Cave (!!!). I'm a Ravenclaw, and my preference is cheap wine or expensive beer. Basically a classic Canberra leftie. I really want a house where people chat and hang out and cook together, not just hide in their rooms. I like places that are neat and tidy, and where everyone respects the space. I have two chickens (Taylor Swift and Lorde). They are good layers but don't have to come with me as pets aren't suitable for every house!
I'm a 24 year old young professional, working as a dance teacher in a local high school, and studying game development at the AIE. I'm very easy going, organised, clean and tidy, and sociable. I'm a busy person and are out and about quite a bit, I am a dancer and keen on doing physical activity and Sport.
Hi! My name is Mandira, I'm a psychology student at the Australian National University. Looking for a roommate to move in with from February onwards. Probably somewhere near The ANU Campus. Please contact me if anyone's interested. :)

I have lived in Canberra for a year. I am from Lebanon but lived all my life in the Emirates. I am studying Biotechnology at ANU. In my free time I love going out with my friends to the movies and I am obsessed with watching TV Shows.
This is an awesome little share house in leafy O'connor. It is super close to the bus stop (which will take you to ANU, Civic etc) and is only a short walk to both Lyneham and O'Connor shops. The room is so lovely, with a double bed and a pretty big wardrobe, and the house is full of character. I'm sad to leave but I'm going to Sydney for a bit, so looking for someone awesome to take my room. :) It's available from the 10th November but can be made available sooner or later than that.
I'm Katie! I'm moving to Canberra for postgrad study after a very exciting gap year abroad. I'm looking forward to starting a new life in Canberra and meeting lots of new people. I did my whole undergrad in Brisbane and I'm ready for a change! Ideally my housemates would be interesting, friendly, open and sociable. Of course I value clenliness and respect too but that sort of goes without saying :D I like to have a good relationship with my housemates and would much prefer open doors and friendship to quiet, formal interactions. Please let me know if you have any rooms available :D
I'm a young, friendly and tidy professional who works full time, exercises regularly and has a steady social life. Pretty standard. Ideally, I'm looking to share with 1 or 2 others who are similar.
I'm a 26 year old working full time Monday-Friday looking for a new place to live in the ACT. I'm friendly and love to have a chat with housemates over drinks/dinner or even going out for social activities but at the same time I respect that everyone needs their space and privacy. I keep things clean and tidy (without being too over the top) and all rent and bills paid on time. I like to keep a relaxed and happy vibe at home - I have no problem at all with visitors but prefer to not be in a 'party' house. After work during the week I like to just chill out with dinner, a glass of wine and some music - I'm not much of a TV watcher myself but it doesn't bother me if others are. Sometimes I will watch a series or movie on Netflix instead :-P I enjoy cooking at home and also going out somewhere for a good feed. I have no pets of my own but I am more than happy to live in a place with pets. I've lived in a few sharehouses previously, I'm happy to share chores/housework and I'm pretty conscious of keeping things easy and enjoyable for everyone :) If you think I might be a good fit for your home or even have any questions, please get in touch :)
I'm an undergraduate Education student from Brisbane. I'll be in Canberra for 3 months over the summer on an internship. I've been share housing for 3 years in a range of places - from the very large (7 people - was quite the experience) to smaller arrangements. I'm friendly, easygoing and open to social or quiet share houses. I always clean up after myself, respect common areas and my housemate's privacy. I enjoy cooking, sightseeing, reading and volunteering. Feel free to drop me a line if you're looking for a team up!
I'm Gemma, 22 years old student and public servant. I study Psychology and Linguistics, I have an interest in politics, philosophy, literature and film. I have travelled a bit and have plans for a couple of trips in 2017. I like to keep active, I'm a massive dog person (points if you have a dog) and I read a lot. I also love a good Netflix marathon (House of Cards, Stranger Things, Daredevil, Offspring and any movie with Meryl Streep or things that explode). I'm always up for chats about what was really in the suit case in Pulp Fiction and most other fan theory discussions around Tarantino. I also love to bake and most weekends you'll find by Sunday there will be a slice, biscuits, cakes, delicious treats around the place to share. I'm pretty easy going, I like to live in a clean house where everyone does their part. Ideally we wouldn't have a chores roster or anything so much as everyone would clean up after themselves and we'd take turns in doing the really annoying chores like cleaning the bathrooms etc. Head up - I'm not a gardener and I kill most anything I plant in the ground.I prefer for everyone to be responsible for feeding themselves, I have done the group food thing and I'm not a fan of it. I'd like to live with people who are pretty busy themselves but also happy to share a meal and a wine every month or so. I'm in the Inner North of Canberra at the moment and will be in the place I'm in until January 2017, if you're keen on setting up a share house or if I sound like a house mate you might like to live with, please message me.
Just your average 20 year old girl who's a little bit too inlove with her cat. Love time alone and privacy but also some good banter and food. Looking for somewhere who understand working in hospo and don't care too much about my hit and miss hours!

Hi I'm Ori, I'm been living in Canberra for little while and looking for a new place. I'm a clean, neat and tidy person, great cook and non-smoker with a professional full time job and can move in straight away. I'm looking for a nice place with great people. Really social and outgoing, I would love to live with similar people who might watch a movie together sometimes or share a glass of wine in the evenings occasionally! Message me on here and I'll get back to you.
Originally from Melbourne, moved to Canberra working full time in a large company servicing Genotyping Technology which keeps me busy during the week. Enjoy the outdoors; climbing, hiking, skiing etc. Keen to go explore the country, especially the Blue Mountains, so if you're keen then come adventure with me on the weekends. When doing a chore, I like to clean all the mess in an area, and not just mine. So I am looking for a designated and flexible week-by-week roster. Often I am too busy during the week to share meals, so I tend to solo cook after work. But if I do come home early, I always keen to share the experience :) Looking for flat mates my age, i.e. Full time workers who can keen themselves busy. I am curious about people, so I enjoy getting to know people from different backgrounds and ethnicities. I am straight and accept everyone from all walks of life.
Hi there, My name is Clare, and I'm looking to start a share house or join an existing one with at least one other female in a peaceful home, ideally in the inner north suburbs of Canberra. I'm keen for a sense of community at home, so prefer to live with people who are happy to share a meal or cup of tea from time to time, but am also aware of respecting people's need for space/ down time. I work full time in the government in a social justice role, and in my spare time catch up with friends, see bands, listen to music, exercise. I am good with paying bills on time and pitching in for chores. I like watching SBS/ABC occasionally ... Looking for 6 -12 month lease. If this sounds of interest, please drop me a line with a little about yourself. Thankyou!
Hi ! I'm a french student in an engineering school in Paris. I am currently in a gap year and after 6 months in Sweden, I will spend 6 months in Canberra for an internship at the CSIRO. I will be working there full time from mid february to the end of july. I'm pretty social but also like to have my own space, I am used to live with flatmates. I am respectful of others and clean! As I will come from France, I won't have any furniture, so I am looking for a furnished room. I am very excited to live in Australia for six months, I hope I'll meet new friends and I am looking for room in a friendly home!
