I'm moving back to Canberra after a stint in Sydney and I'm looking for a fun and friendly house. I work full time and I'd love to live with a group of pretty social housemates who make the Canberra winter bearable! I make a great chicken and leak pie, love chocolate and am quite clean and tidy too.
Hi Hoang. John here, I've read your advert for the room and am very interested in meeting up for coffee sometime and take a look at the room. I am looking for a room for myself and my partner for two people. We are both very cleanly, friendly and respectful guys. Peter (my partner) is studying at ANU for Master's degree in Earth Science. I work fulltime as a chef at the military college in Duntroon. We both like going to the gym, outdoors, keeping fit. From time to time we enjoy coffee, dinner or a movie with friends. We are both rather quiet guys, but do like an occasional chat and will shy away from a conversation. At same time, we respect private space. If you're interested in more details. Please contact us 😊
I'm a quiet 20 year old who works at the airport, and am looking for a place to stay until I can fulfil my dream of joining the air force, which could take anywhere between 6 months and 2 years. I'm a cyclist and runner in my spare time. I own a car, which I do not use much and am willing to lend out, but will need a place to store it. Apart from that, I'm just looking for somewhere to sleep and store my meagre amount of stuff, as well as cook.
Im a 21 year old Uni student I am friendly, but also know when to respect privacy and enjoy time alone Dedicated to work, but know when to relax; I am very neat and tidy, pay bills on time, and generally can look after myself. I'm also told I make good pancakes in the morning. I don't smoke, party, or have pets 🙂
Hi. We are two full time PhD students at ANU researching in the areas of ecology (Kelly) and primatology (Sarah). We are currently living in a townhouse in Lyneham but would like to move into a bigger (and warmer) house when our lease is up in mid-July, so are looking for someone to team up with us. We'd like to get a relatively decent place - up to $600 a week (max) for the total rent in the northern suburbs of Canberra. One of us is a vego and one is a vegan, one likes to have a wine at home and be a bit social and the other doesn't drink much, both like to have a chat and we are both friendly and easy going. One of us likes the gym the other likes bush walking, bird watching and yoga. We are both clean and tidy and especially respectful of shared areas. Looking for a like minded easy going tidy person to join us when we move. I have all the shared household furniture and kitchen items except for a dining table/chairs and outdoor furniture.
Hey there! I am Can Metan. I'll start my PhD in Computer Science soon and I'm looking for a place to call home. I am a very clean and trust-worthy guy. I quite enjoy cooking healthy meals and I'm quite sociable in general. While we can share a glass of wine every now and then, I don't drink every week and I certainly don't smoke. I will be working a lot this year (likely to get a job besides PhD) and I would love to have a roomie that can pull his / her own weight. Looking forward to hear from you!
Hey Flatmaters, i'm Anthony, looking to relocate up to Canberra soon. I'm an experienced house-sharer, considerate of others, clean, respectful, and mindful of others. Currently run my own mobile IT support business About me : Creative type. Musical. Enjoy the outdoors, travelling, going on hikes, singing / playing guitar, photography, nature, reading, seeing live music, catching up with friends... Most of my friends are in their 30's so that kind of age group would suit. Have my own bedroom furniture (queen bed, bedside tables) + a desk i'll need space for (so, fairly large room). Cheers Anthony.
AVAILABLE ON THE 27th of March. A nice mid sized room that catches all the morning sun. Double Bed (if needed). Fully furnished house. Shared Bills; Fast Internet Access Netflix Nestled between the O'Connor and Lyneham shops, this house is a ten minute bike ride from the Civic centre or the ANU. The two housemates that you would be living with are relaxed and focusing on their respective careers. We like living here because of its great location and the freedom a big backyard can provide. We like the odd drink and maybe turn up the stereo for a little bit on a Friday afternoon to unwind. We are looking for a person who takes pride in their household and doesn't mind pitching in to clean up the yard or do some housework. The house is kept quite neat and tidy. Its an older home, but its clean and very livable. We do a weekly meal plan and share cooking between the housemates. This has been great because it means that we regularly come together to eat and get to try lots of new healthy meals. We hope that anyone new coming into the house will want to participate. We think a person completing post-graduate studies or similarly focusing on their career would be a great fit for the house.
Hi, I'm Will I work full time in tech support In my other time I do weird creative shit I run an internet electronic music stream every Tuesday night. Usually remotely but sometimes I host electronic musicians and DJs in the living room 👀 I also DJ occasionally and produce electronic music. I'm easy going socially and clean. I also have respect for boundaries in a share house. I've been doing this for a couple years now. Looking for someone who is also into weird creative shit (or at least tolerates it) , is clean, pays rent on time and is easy going socially. In my ideal home, everyone can be themselves and feel at home, there's a strong internet connection and it's CLEAN. Bonus points for no TV (I hate tv). My current room currently has hanging pics of HP Baxxter in one of those awful live love laugh frames, and I rock flaming skull bedsheets. Fight me IRL 👊 Looking for someone who would vibe 💀 🔥 I'm open to coming into an existing place or setting out to find a new one with you :) hmu
I'm a quiet person and considerate of others. Ain't a party girl, clean and a fun person to chill with. I'm working part-time and I'd love to keep myself busy with work, sports, church and local activities. Moving to Canberra for work. Looking for clean and easy going people ☺️☺️☺️
Hey yo! Joel here! I'm originally from Malaysia and am looking for a place for me to settle for at least one year while I get my masters done. I'm studying Masters in International Law in the ANU. I will also be working and studying to be admitted into court. Hence, I will be fairly busy in 2017. In terms of being a flatmate, the thing I value most is cleanliness - I like keeping things tidy and clean, especially the bathroom. I respect privacy and hope to receive the same. Having said that, I am a rather social person. I love the idea of sharing a conversation over a meal, or even perhaps doing something interesting over the weekend. I'm pretty open minded and respect diversity in any form. I may occasionally sing in the shower though, so I guess that is something to be aware of. =)
I am a 25 years old french PhD student and will work at CSIRO for 3 months (30 July - 31 October). I am looking for a shared flat because I like it and I am used to it. I am easy going and always up to share experiences, trips, ... . I like to cook, to do sport and I am up to kown another culture.
I'm a laid back and social guy, planning on doing some volunteer work overseas early next year, and am looking for a place to live for the next 6 months. A little about me – I'm a Graphic Designer and Photographer, animal lover, vegan (I love to cook!), nature enthusiast, gym junkie, and I am also gay.
Hey my name is Bek and I'm a first year arts student at ANU. I moved to Canberra at the beginning of this year to start uni. I study English, Japanese and Hindi and I work part time on weekends waitressing. I am super chill and easy to get along with and I clean up after myself, especially in common areas. I enjoy a cheeky glass (or bottle) of wine to "unwined" after uni. I also like bad puns.

I am from Melbourne and have lived in a few share houses during my time here while I was studying my undergrad degree and when I was working full time. I am looking for accommodation for a student about to start his Masters degree at ANU. I enjoy cooking, board games, card games, reading, and computer games. I’m generally a quiet, private person but do enjoy socialising and having a few glasses of wine or beer.
