Heya, I've just finished studying population health at ANU and work as a nurse in the Woden Valley. I have a cat named Beck who is 11yo who spends most of her time napping, watching the world go by or purring loudly. I adult quite well, I pay my rent and I clean. I’m respectful and honest. I like nature and learning, music and peaceful sleep-ins. For fun I like to dance or ride my bike, rest in my hammock, have a drink with friends or binge watch Netflix. I'm a vegetarian and a feminist. I'm usually trying to be a better human than i was last month. I have to move because there is a big leak in my current place! I’m looking for somewhere big enough to fit a queen bed and desk. I'm interested in is a ground-floor apartment or a house.
Hey everybody, I am Clare and I’m a youthful 55yrs post-surgery Transgender female who is very easy going. I am seeking other people to start a new share-house with up to 3-4 bedrooms. My location preferences are for suburbs surrounding the Belconnen town centre. I am happy to mix and match ages/genders with individuals or to share with an older (30’s/40’s) single parent with 1-2 school-aged children. I can contribute general furniture and whitegoods to the property, although I don't have a dining setting or a lounge suite. But I have just about everything else you could need, especially kitchen items! Alternatively, I can place unused items in a dry, lockup garage if available at the property. I also have garden equipment - lawn mower, whipper snipper, etc, to help with outdoor maintenance. I have an existing NBN Internet service with unlimited data and a 100mb speed connection. It also includes the Optus 'Fetch' TV with 6 channels and access to Netflix, etc. My Internet plan is on a casual basis (no lock-in contract), so I can transfer it or cancel it if necessary. ABOUT ME: I'm currently a student at the University of Canberra studying Bch Of Public Health / Psychology. However I’m planning to take a study break and obtain employment for the next year or two and then return to study at a later time. I'd prefer a property close to regular public transport services, especially those that go by the University of Canberra or direct links to Civic/Belconnen. But i'm flexible for the 'right' property. I am required to give three weeks’ notice to vacate at my current property, otherwise I am flexible with moving dates. Although I could move within 1-2 weeks as i'd need the overlap time to move my possessions between the properties, so shifting earlier than three weeks is not a problem. That's it !!! Hit me up if you’re interested in teaming up!
Hi, I'm Joe! I'm in my final year of University at ANU, and am looking for clean but social housemates who don't mind the Bachelor and mario kart! As well as studying, I'm working part time at DHS during the semester, with full-time hours during the breaks. For fun I love doing drama, as well as reading, and playing niche sports like quidditch and ultimate frisbee. As a flatmate I'd describe myself as friendly and conscientious. Having lived in a 5 share this past year, I'm very conscious of keeping common areas clean, and respecting the shared space. I love having a chat and hanging out, but also know how it feels like after a full day's work/study when you just want your own space. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi, my name is Aylin and I am currently residing in Melbourne. I will be commencing a graduate position at the Treasury in early February. Therefore, I am seeking to relocate to Canberra in January. A few key details about me is that I am female and 23 years old. I have recently finished my Honours degree in Economics from Monash University. I am a very clean, organised and detailed orientated person. I am also someone who is quiet and likes to maintain privacy. While I enjoy adventure and exploring nature, I also like reading novels and watching Netflix. And how can I forget, I love trying new foods and coffee! I am looking to share a property with likeminded individuals.
Hey, I'm Josh! Looking for a room in a share-house in Canberra for next year when I start a graduate position with a APS agency. I think I'm pretty laid-back, love getting outdoors and hiking etc. I'm looking forward to heading down to Canberra and getting settled into my new home. Don't mind a beer or two, and love a good laugh! And don't worry, I agree, the Raiders were robbed!
Hey I'm Grace, I just graduated from the University of Queensland. I'm moving down from Brisbane in the new year for a full-time position in the APS. I'm pretty relaxed, and I'm also really tidy. I love to cook, being active/outdoors and am down for a chat. Feel free to message me if you've got a room or are wanting to team up for a share house!
Hello my name is Jen, I've recently moved down to Canberra for fulltime work near the city. I'm hoping to find a place from the end of January in the inner North, but am open to any location that is an easy commute to work. I'm a quiet, relaxed and tidy housemate, who enjoys coffee, yoga, a good book, and the beach. Open to sharing with pets, and happy for a room that is furnished or unfurnished. Looking for places that can offer at least a minimum 3 month stay from the end of Jan.
**i will be out of town until the 29th Dec, so I won’t be able to look at any houses until after this date!!! But happy to stay in contact** I have recently finished my bachelor of criminology & psychology at ANU. Currently working in retail, I am actively looking for a full time job! I would love to join a social house where we can have dinners together, go out to bars/cafes together and chill nights in (love a board game or two). I also enjoy a good book and drink too much coffee. Im also looking to find a ceramics class in the new year.... I also have a cat, Thor, who I would love to bring with me. He is super chill and super fluffy and gets along with people and other pets. He is indoors only, and has been no trouble in my current sharehouse situation. Ideally I am looking for a house that will welcome him as much as me.
Hi there, I'm Luke :) I'm 22 and nearing the end of my studies at ANU while also about to start a job at the APS. I'm a friendly, respectful and tidy guy looking for a housemate/s to move in with who are the same, especially on the tidy front :). While I'll be attempting to fit in a social life around studying and work, I enjoy hanging out with my housemates but also equally happy with downtime to myself now and then. Other than uni + work, I enjoy cooking, music, talking news and politics, bingeing a good tv show, staying active with running and having a good glass of red, gin or bundy rum (you can take the boy out of the country..)- all of which I like to do with friends and my housemates. I'm keen to move into a place with people I can call friends. I can also come with an xbox one, a nespresso machine, kitchen utensils and some appliances, as well as a few other bits and bobs. Looking to move in somewhere toward the end of January
I am an ANU PhD student studying biology who lives a clean and active (most of the time) lifestyle. I'm a pretty independent person who will be busy at uni most days but wouldn't mind grabbing a beer or coffee over the weekends. Apart from uni, I am a keen plant lover, casual gamer and a tennis fanatic who also enjoys occasional youtube binges. I do enjoy the company of others and would be down for an adventure or gaming session, but also respect other people's space and privacy. I am looking for a clean and friendly sharehouse with likeminded people to live with that don't mind a bit of socialising occasionally!
