Hello, I am moving back to Canberra, having lived in Melbourne for a year. Work in the public service, like to read, travel and the odd glass of wine or beer. Looking for a place close to the city - Civic, Braddon, Turner etc . Don’t have a car, so I don’t require a car space. Happy to team up with people to apply for places.
My wife and I are moving to Canberra from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for my PhD studies. We have a little one in tow, and are looking for someone to share a house/apartment with. We're generally quiet people with a modest social life; we love books, cooking and the outdoors.
I am an American who will be in Canberra for 5/6 months helping with a PhD project on bird ecology. I love to be outside and go hiking. Because of my job, I will probably have some early mornings every so often so I will be asleep early and up early but I can be quiet if everyone else is asleep. I can cook some good things (or at least my university roommates thought so)

In my spare time, I enjoy pilates, dance, snowboarding, Netflix, cooking and travelling interstate to visit my family. I'm Zoe, I grew up with a big family and have been living out of home for years so I understand sharing/ respecting space. Although I'm often out of the house I do enjoy having real interactions and relationships with those around me. I do marketing/ HR for a local brewery, play roller derby for fun, love enjoying dinner with friends over a few glasses of wine. I'm looking for a clean place with friendly, relaxed vibes and great humans (pets are a bonus!).
My Name is Ryan Worn, i own a roofing business in Hobart and Launceston and we are looking to expand into Canberra. I’m after a room for around 6 months, the only catch is that i would be over there 2 weeks a month and my supervisor would be over there the other 2. Weird i know but i can assure that we are both very polite and professional individuals. This is purely for world to see how this expansion would pan out, we are open to pretty much any area as long as we have off street parking, i also rent out a property in Hobart so i am well aware of what is required as far as a perfect roommate goes. Feel free to email me if you have any questions, cheers Ryan Worn
My name is Lachie, I work full-time for the public service and my current place has just been sold. I only moved to Canberra this year. I'm looking to move into a place around August if possible. I have rental history and am happy to provide a reference. I do my fair share of the housework and am always happy to run errands!!
we are a young professional couple, who are quiet, clean and like to keep to ourselves, but aren't against a few games nights or a casual conversation, we both have full time apprenticeships/traineeships and Emily has a casual weekend job as well. We have a small well mannered dog named Max, he is a whippet x staffy (probably 80% more whippet), who doesn't bark, unless provoked and is well trained. Location isn't an issue as we both drive and don't mind the distance, we plan on sharing housing until we can find a place for ourselves, number of roommates doesn't matter either does gender but we would prefer non smokers if at all possible.
I'm a 23-year old girl from Taiwan, who decided to go on a gap year in Australia to find inspiration for life. I speak Chinese, English, and Korean, love traveling and is always open to making new friends. I enjoy myself with people but also respect privacy. Clean and tidy who have grown up in strict discipline from typical Asian parents haha. Looking forward to finding a good to stay:)
Hi, I'll be moving from Brisbane to Canberra to work in the APS in early September 2018. I'm seeking a homely vibe! I'm easy going, clean, respect personal space and for the most part, a quiet housemate. I do love to have a friendly chat over tea with my housemates and eat a meal together every so often. I'm past my clubbing days and prefer daytime social activities over late nights. In my downtime I enjoy getting outdoors (hiking, bike riding, swimming) or doing some painting. If it sounds like we could be a good fit, send me a message :)
I'm a 24 year old cyber security consulting professional looking for a place to live! I'm easygoing, tidy, respectful and can get along with anyone. I don't mind a lot of quiet downtime but also enjoy catching up for a drink or a meal. I enjoy keeping fit at the gym and exploring new places in my spare time.
Hey! I’m a final year nursing student at UC and will be staying in Canberra until around May-June next year for some travel before my job. My current awesome roommate has to move so I want to find a room in another house. Pretty introverted and like my time alone but also enjoy hanging out with roommates, having a good chat and having a wine or two. I work in a bar and love going for mountain/lake walks, reading and watching the Office (US version of course). I’ve always enjoyed cleaning the house and am super considerate of who ever I live with so I expect that from others.
Ayden and I are both active individuals who enjoy our downtime when at home. We're both road cyclists and train 15-20 hours per week & are often away competing. Other than cycling, I'm doing my Masters in Architecture at the University of Canberra. Ayden is super easy going and can get along with just about anyone. He spends a lot of the year traveling with races. Looking for a clean & tidy place where we can feel at home.
I'm a friendly, supportive person who works full time as a journalist in the press gallery. Looking for a chilled, clean, cosy place to live with lovely people. Hoping to foster greyhounds or live with pets.
