The apartment has an outdoor swimming pool and our own private balcony. A 5 minutes walking distance to O'Connor shops, Turner School and a 10 minutes walk to ANU and the city. It is a rare newly built modern apartment in Canberra that is close to the city, comes with only 20 units in total. The apartment located on the upper floor. It also comes with air-conditioning. Only the bedroom is unfurnished but comes with a 3 mirror sliding door inbuilt wardrobe. The last utility bill was around $40 per month per person, which comes down to around $10 per week.
Hi. I'm an easy-going, tidy, reliable, respectful, and responsible flatmate. I'm looking for a room, preferably furnished and with own ensuite/bathroom, for six months. I have a great job - I'm a UX Designer - and sometimes travel for work. I'm renovating a house in Orange, so I head back there at least one weekend a month. I enjoy travel, trivia, board games, movies (especially foreign and arthouse), TV/Netflix, cooking, swimming and reading.
Hi Flatmates, Joss H (housemate 2015/2016) said I am "Fun, easy going and relaxed. Love to laugh but also very responsible and well mannered". 2015/16 I was living back home in Western Australia working as an Events Manager but have made the move back to the east coast to attend Canberra University and work part -time in HR. I have been staying with family in Murrumbateman while I found my feet here in the ACT but the commute is starting to take its toll. In Wa I was living with some married friends one of which works in Brazil so one minute it was a girls house and for every second month its a mixed house (I'm adaptable). After growing up in Margaret River I enjoy a good vino instead of a night out.My old housemate Emma D always calls me up for a laugh and a good dance around the house when I'm home. I love cooking dinners to catch up with my housemates but also enjoy a good balanced household where everyone does their own thing. If you think you could live with an outgoing, caring human, send me a message. Looking forward to hearing from you. *I have plenty of references if needed.
Work full time, like to head out some weekends, also enjoy staying in on the occasion with a movie or game. Like to stay entertained with people, music, sport, books, television, movies, walks, shopping, eating. I keep a pretty clean place but definitely not obsessive. I am very respectful of everyone and am pretty relaxed and friendly. Mostly non smoker but I can be guilty of the occasional cigarette or two. Been known to cook the best bolognese in town!
The house is pretty big, with a large backyard, ducted heating in all rooms, and off-street parking. The vacant bedroom has built in wardrobes and a full length mirror. We're very close to the city centre and a 10 minute bike ride from ANU. It's a relaxed environment with lots of room for activities. No pets. I'm a full time public servant. Other housemate is a Masters student/shift worker. Rent is paid monthly rather than weekly (Only have the option for weekly on flatmates. It works out to be around $165 a week)
Hi My name is Pablo. I am very relaxed and organized with payments and home duties. Super clean and tidy and at the same time very easy going. Love outdoors and visit the museums once in a while. I am a nonsmoker. Let me know if you would be interested. Pablo

I'm a proudly omnivorous, non-smoking, communications professional of the straight 40+ male variety who is sans pet. Working as a contractor in Tuggeranong and eager to find a room in a location where the travel time is less of an ordeal. Those hours I'm at home and awake (which aren't many at the moment) will most likely be devoted to pursuing starving literary pursuits (because writing and journalism is SUCH a boom industry right now) but I usually write elsewhere. Basically, an arty-farty wanker with a pesky social conscience I have a passing interest in most sports, but do not have the passion for them I did in the past. Very happy to let housemates keep to their own devices. Just looking for a place that's relatively tidy and relatively quiet.
