This beautiful 5-bedroom house is literally brand new, with construction completed early this year. This means that all the appliances are new, all the furniture is new, and you will be the first person to ever occupy your room! Each room comes furnished with a bed, desk, chair and bedside table, as well as its own air conditioner. A massive built-in-wardrobe completes the room, giving you plenty of storage space. You will be sharing a bathroom with only one other person, as all the other rooms in the house are ensuite. It's a quick 15-20 min walk to Monash Uni, and down the road from Huntingdale station (10-15min walk). Feel free to send me a message or call me if you have any questions or wish to view the house.
URGENT! I'm from Japan, half Australian and a first-year student at Monash:) Love music, animals, outdoor, cooking. Quiet and Clean (would prefer to live with female students) Close to bus/train/tram stop preferred Thank you!
We are easygoing, talkative and tidy couple from Poland looking for a place to stay near Monash University. We both love to cook, play sports and live a healthy lifestyle (we are both vegans). Karolina has a postdoc fellowship on Monash Univeristy and Bartosz is looking for a part-time job. We're arriving in Melbourne on May 20th and will stay here for at least 6 months.
Hi, I'm Kien. I'm a friendly laid back person, a bit introverted but also usually up for a good chat. Currently I'm doing a bachelor degree. Besides studying, I like reading and listening to books, and learning new things. Fun facts: I'm not proud of my cooking skills. I mean I can make fire and all, but these days everybody can do that. Recently I learned how to distinguish between things that get questionably burned and things that get reasonably burned. Made some significant progress before switching to a frozen microwaveable diet. I ride an unicycle for short-distance traveling. The reason I learned unicycling in the first place was that walking is mundane and inefficient on certain surfaces. I like cats. An ideal place I'm looking for would be nice, tidy and reasonably quiet, with friendly, sociable & fun housemates so we can make it a cozy home. I'm also interested in teaming up.
We have a unfurnished room available in our share house from the 2nd of June. its $590 per calendar month, $620 bond, built in robe and decent sized room with a nice window! Bills and internet are not included in rent but are shared between all housemates equally. The house is a large renovated 4 bedroom home with two bathrooms, a big living room, dining room and big back yard. The bathroom has the biggest and best shower you will ever experience, we've fit 4 people in so far!
Very Clean and respectful. I currently work casually while streaming gaming content. i enjoy unreal feeds, going out and doing spontanious stuff. Very laid back and can handle responsibilities easily (rent etc.) Any questions please feel free to chuck me a message
Hi! My name is Ana and I am a student of the B.S. of Clinical Psychology and Health. I am from Mexico. I will be staying in Melbourne for almost three months :). I think that I am a nice, responsible, and respectful person. I have experience sharing a room and a flat with roomates (including a cat :D). I enjoy doing research activities, reading, learning, visiting natural places and cultural events :).
I previously lived with 5 roommates, and am a student at University at Buffalo NY. I am coming to Monash Clayton for a fall semester foreign exchange program, arriving in July, leaving at the end of the semester. I am in my 3rd year in bio-medical sciences. I love sports, have played a few, am committed to good grades and the medical profession, and would like to room with some locals at Monash to share some experiences and historical perspectives. Walking to Clayton campus preferred.
I'm a very relaxed person when it comes to life and as such I am always open to new experiences and meeting new people both of which I hope to have with my future flat mates. For fun I play any sort of sport I can get my hands on or just hang out with friends and joke around with them. I am currently studying a bachelor of Information Technology at Monash University in Clayton and am looking for a part time job as we speak.
*ALL BILLS INCLUDED* Cosy & spacious bedroom for lease - So close to Monash Uni!! Fully furnished bedroom with Queen size bed & linen, built-in hanging wardrobe and two side tables - we can also arrange a desk if required. Shared bathroom and separate toilet (just off the laundry). Electric stove & oven, dishwasher, fridge, kettle, toaster - Everything you will need. We have a washing machine and there is a clothes line in the backyard and a few clothes hangers for inside too. Wifi access throughout and a communal TV with computer attached (with Netflix & loads of TV shows & movies). We are both Vegan and do politely ask that no meat is cooked in the house. If this is going to be an issue, please do not apply as it is the only place that we ask this of anyone. We love our home and like to keep it relatively neat and tidy but your room is your room and we won't intrude! We love our garden and veggie patch so throughout winter there will be a sufficient supply of homegrown organic seasonal veggies! There is on street parking out the front if needed and the 802 or 862 bus to Monash University is about 20m from our doorstep. Oakleigh shopping centre and train station are a 5 minute drive and there is a service station and IGA within walking distance.
Easy going mature minded individual that is considerate of others space and things. Enjoys cooking and the team effort of keeping the place tidy. The home I see as a place to recharge for the day ahead, some social interaction and time out. Tend to be more social out with friends than at home. Preference for unit style accommodation with some yard & Lug. Thanks, Sam
I'm Cathal a 23 year Irish(full citizen) bartender. In my spare time I'm usually cooking or messing around on my camera and guitar. Waterson is 29 year old and is a refrigerator mechanic. In his spare time he's useally playing electronic drums or he's out and about on his bike. He's ironically a fairly quite person. Due to his job he's useally in bed by like 9pm.
Hi guys! I'm a student starting studies at Monash Uni from July. I'm a friendly guy who enjoys playing and watching sports. I like keeping my place and surrounding clean. Love chilling and listening to music in my free time. I'll be looking for a part time job soon and would occupied mostly.
I'm moving from Sydney to start a new job at Monash University in April. I'm a Research Assistant in Psychiatry and I'll be working full time. I'm a generally tidy and busy person. I'm keen to find somewhere where we all have our own space but we can come together for a chat or a glass and wine every now and then! I enjoy musical theatre, video games, cooking and exploring the city.
Hello! I am a PhD candidate at Monash University, Clayton. I am interested in 1. A teamup : I am looking to share a house with 2 other girls (perferably postgraduate students/working professionals). I will start house-hunting in June and I would like to know my future housemates before renting an unfurnished accomodation with them. PM me if you're interested in the same :) 2. A furnished private room: I'm interested in sharing a house with 3 or 4 people who are warm and welcoming. I am social, clean and responsible. My rent budget is $1000/month including all bills. Let me know if you have anything for me :) Cheers, Tarika
Hi there. I am a 31 yo male professional. Live in a nice and spacious 3 bedroom house in Oakleigh East and have 1 partially furnished good sized room available now. The room has a desk and a chair as per photo - if you don't want them, they can be removed. The rest of the house is fully furnished with all white goods etc. Another room is occupied by a 23 yo male student from Monash uni. Looking for someone who isn't a party animal; easy going, clean, tidy, considerate, with common sense, that respects other's privacy and personal space. Normal, genuine human really. Prefer to find someone long term. I have a pretty quiet lifestyle. During the week I work and train, and on the weekends I normally train, work from home and rest, watch movies, etc. I am pretty easy going, quiet and tend to keep to myself most of the time. I'm also clean, tidy and respectful of others; but not a clean freak or a dictator by any means. My flatmate lives a similar quiet lifestyle. Gas heating throughout the house. Aircon is in the main living room area. House itself is 2 mins walk from a bus stop and another 5-7 min bus trip to Monash uni Clayton if you're a student. If you drive, there is an on-street parking right next to the house with no restrictions. Electricity, gas, water, bills will be split in 3 equal parts as they come. Internet can be included in the weekly rent as it's the same price every month ($23). The only other expense is lawn mowing that I get done every few months and it costs around $50-60 (will be split in 3 parts). Any questions, ask away. Inspections/interviews are welcome. Andrew
Hey, I'm Sven from Bavaria, Germany, and I’ve been offered the opportunity to work on a research project at Monash University School of Chemistry, Campus Clayton. My stay will be from May 1st to September 4th. I would describe myself as an open-minded, enthusiastic, joyful and active student. When I’m not at university, I spend my free time on working in associations, supporting refugees in German cultural integration or organizing events for Christian Union at university. Moreover, I like to do sports particularly with friends, e.g. table tennis, swimming, squash or hiking. It would be fantastic to share a flat with some locals since I love to learn more about Australian culture and having a good time during cooking, sports or discussions. I could also provide you with some German-Bavarian Culture and dishes ;). A personal highlight and aim of my stay is to get involved in Aussie Rules culture, so If you could teach me rules or even go out and train together, it would be awesome :) . Concerning some organizational details, I’ve considered living in a reachable periphery to the School of Chemistry and paying around ~190 AUD/week (negotiable). I’m looking forward to hearing from you and I could also provide more information or we arrange an interview on skype, if you like. Best regards and greetings from Germany Sven
First time out of home looking for somewhere fun and being surrounded by like minded kind and friendly people! Full time student, also working in a pub (meaning I tend to work nights) and also working as a Nanny! Dedicated, hard working, obsessed with cleanliness, bubbly personality, love to make new friends but also respects everyone's need for space! I enjoy going out and spending time with friends but am also very dedicated to my studies and also thoroughly enjoy a night in of wine and movies! Very new to this so please help me in creating a great first time mover experience! Uncertain on preferred length of stay so looking potentially for a month by month leasing! Happy to discuss further!
I pride myself on being straight-forward, genuine and easy to work with. You won't have a headache with me because I care about people and want the best for everyone! I also love spontaneity and am very outgoing! I have a good sense of humour. I have a pretty active outside life, filled with sports, socialising and leadership/volunteering commitments.
Im friendly neat and tidy. I like to keep to myself and need a place to stay ASAP as current living arrangements are too noisy and inappropriate for study. Please contact me After private room with my own bathroom. Needs a bed
