Looking for someone to take over my portion of the lease at this property. The formal 12 month lease rolled over as of end of February and the landlord has now agreed to allow us to take on a month by month lease (no fixed-term, should you wish to move out you will just need to arrange a lease transfer to a new tenant). All potential new tenants will need to submit a formal application to our real estate agent for approval if my current housemate is happy for you to move in but we have a relatively good relationship with our Agent so should be a pretty easy process. Rent is to be paid monthly by the 1st ($1021 pm) so we will need someone to pay rent for April a few days prior to the 1st (directly to the real estate agent) to ensure enough time for transfer. Bond can be paid in cash to Ryan as we will just be organising a bond transfer. We would prefer a long term tenant to take over. The house itself is an older one but has been renovated to a very good standard. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom (both updated), partially renovated kitchen with dishwasher. Mostly floorboards in the communal living areas and they are all furnished currently. As this is a sub-divided block there is a new townhouse behind but there is still a large, fenced front lawn area that we currently use for parking and also a covered backyard area, garage & small garden shed. There are two bedrooms up for offer, one slightly larger than the other but you can choose either as my housemate is only looking to get one other person in to share the rent which means you will also have your own full bathroom with shower, bath etc. & separate WC which has been updated to a very high standard. There is heaps of cupboards & storage space available in the communal areas as well as the large wardrobes in the bedrooms themselves. There is bus stops nearby (less than 5 min walk) on Warrigal Road and the house is about a 15 min walk/ 5 min drive to Oakleigh Station & Oakleigh Central shops. You are also less than a 5 min drive from 'The Links' shopping complex also. Oakleigh (Approx. 21kms from the CBD) is a pretty family-friendly, sought after suburb with some great continental cafes & excellent coffee spots. Chadstone Shopping Centre is a short 10 min drive away and it's a relatively quick trip into the CBD via the M1 if you wish to drive.
Hey guys! We're a young couple looking to move out of our current accomodation to somewhere a little closer to our respective schools, and where we can bring our furkid-family members with us! Gemma is a 19 year old psychology student at Monash University in her second year, and works part time as a sales assistance and puppy school instructor in the pet industry! (Which means her amazing pet product bargains are yours too! 😉) Brad is a student at Holmesglen TAFE studying his first year of Networking, is a whiz at all things technical, and would be happy to deal with any totally annoying technical failures with WiFi or your computer if a housemate ever needed a hand! Together we're hoping to bring our two furry friends - Gemma's greyhound, Bellatrix, who I assure you will have you weak in the knees within seconds, and Brad's indoor cat, Mia, who is a little princess. 🐱 (Gemma is also hoping to apply all her certified dog training skills into bringing a new puppy into the mix sometime in the near future.) We are not too picky on our new home other than friendly, fun, and carefree housemates who are happy to have a quiet night in (maybe watching horror movies, if they're up to it!) but also respect each others privacy and keep a comfortable home environment. A backyard is also pretty essential and whilst it doesn't have to be huge, you might get a bit tangled in Bellatrix's zoomies if it's small! 😸 *Our moving timeframe is from late March/early April. ☺️ *We'd also be interested in teaming up with someone who had already found/had a house and was just looking for roommates to split the rent and the fun with them! If you feel like you might have something that suits, please get into contact with us! We can't wait to hear from our new housemates. ☺️
I love trying out new things, impromptu stuff are always fun, i love my own company meaning i will not be in your face all the times. I know how to mind my business
Would anyone be interested in moving into my 3 bedroom house with me and my pup atticus. It's large house you would have your own bathroom and toilet. Reasonable sized room with modern built in robes. Currently seeking 1 person but would consider 2. Located in oakleigh next to chadstone. 10/15min walk to the station. Seeking someone clean considerate and social, animal lover. Someone with stable employment. Someone I could get along with as person and friend. (not looking for people who are here on visas and are not a permanent resident.)
I am a laid back housemate to live with. I have been living in shared accommodation for the past 3 years so I am pretty on top of the shared living etiquettes. I love pets but sadly dont have any of my own. Usually wound up wth work uni and the usual social. I dont usually have people over much as I am more outdoorsy and would rather hang at theirs. Anyways I do have a long term boyfriend whose place I spend quite a bit of time at. I have a car so living near PT is not top of the priorities atm. I am a great listener, love reading. Thats about it!
Hello hello! I'm Laura and I'm a full time student at Monash University, currently completing my Honours year in Psychology. I also work as a tutor part time and do volunteer work on the weekends. Simon works full time at Australia Post in the CBD. We are both very friendly and easy going people. Very neat and tidy!
Hiya Im Jess, I am a 21 year old qualified hairdresser - (making haircuts easy for you!) And Cameron is a 22 year old Photographer. We both have interests in books, games, movies and music. We are looking for somewhere to live where we can be comfortable and have somewhere to call home. Cameron works for a photography company and has interests in portraiture, so we are both incredibly creative people. We're both super good to live with 'cause I like cooking/baking and we're both neat and tidy , we are happy to be social with you (or give you your space if you like). We would like to get to know you and have drinks (and play video games) together/with friends on some weekends. If its easier, we will happily rent multiple rooms and will both pay rent - looking for somewhere for at least 3months and happy to negotiate when we move.
Hi, I'm Oliver from China, a fresh Monash IT student. Looking for new place to move in and meet new house mates. I'm clean, easygoing & love socialising. If you are also looking for a funny guy to team up, feel free to contact me : )
Hey! I would like to find a room in a shared flat with students for the period of 14th April till end of september. I'm used to live with flatmates and I appreciate a "normal" tidy home ;-) I'm a respectful and spontaneous flatmate with a good humour. I'm in Melbourne to write my masters thesis in analysing remotely sensed data. Feel free to contact me, I'm pleased to meet you! Cheers :-) Kim
I’m very creative and love my music. Other interests are gardening, I like to have a small vege & herb garden. I use the produce in my cooking. I've been told I'm a good cook. I enjoy catching up with friends, going to see live music, reading, going to the beach with my dog, yoga. Hi prospective housemates. I am looking to share a house with one person. I have everything needed to set up a share house. If you are contacting me re an existing share house, please note I will need a proper garage to store any of my belongings that won't fit in the house. Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you! 😺

Student at Monash, looking for a relaxed environment to live work and study. Can generally adapt to most living situations. Looking for pretty much anywhere on the East side of Melb with total rent+bills coming in under $200 pw
Hi, I'm an easy going relaxed male. I do a number of things that are creatively inspired, mainly behind the scenes as a project manager/producer. I also work in the women's footwear industry. Whilst my daily professional life out of the home is very people focused, therefore requiring me to be 'UP' all of the time, my home life is about being relaxed and taking time out, but don't get me wrong, a G &T from time to time wouldn't go a miss. Being clean, tidy and respectful of people's space is part of the course. My actions speak louder then words! I love the outdoors, especially being by rivers and lakes - It's the perfect escape from the concrete jungle!
Hey everyone! Me and Jane, we are looking for a cosy private housing, preferably close to Monash University. We have just moved to Oz for our Master of Education courses and are eager to find a good place to rent for next 2 years. We used to live together and by ourselves for last 10 years in Moscow, enjoying each others' company and our privacy, so our host can expect no parties, guests and other funny stuff. Instead, our landlord/lady would 100% enjoy an award-winning level of tidiness and wellbeing we bring to the house we live.
I'm currently moving on from my house in Malvern East, which I live in with Uni friends, and am looking for somewhere to live nearby. I'd be keen to move in on or after the 26th of February and terminate the contract exactly 6 months later (or July 1, whichever is earlier). A bit about me: I'm 21 years of age and currently studying Arts/Law at Monash University. I moved up to live at Monash in 2014, living in the Halls during semester and share houses over the summer break. As a result, I've had plenty of experience living with a diverse bunch of people over the last 3 years, which has been so great getting to know so many different people! Around the house I'm clean and tidy, and am willing to adapt to any mutual agreements regarding expectations regarding cleanliness, shared food, dishwashing etc etc... I take Uni seriously and am dedicated to my studies. I have academic and career goals and work very hard during semester. As a result I'm well organised when it comes to rental payments, bills, etc. I work part-time for Monash University in the Alumni relations team, and will be working there from March July. I am also interning at a start-up company in the Glen Waverley area. Please by all means get in touch over the next couple of days. I am also open to sending the details of 'referees' (a mix of former landlords and housemates) your way too if you'd like. Other fun me facts: -I surf semi-regularly, so I like to think I keep up a pretty solid exercise regime -My favourite areas of study are philosophy, ethics and politics -I'm into TV/movies, old and new (but aren't we all…)
2 rooms are available for female students or workers. One with 2 single bunk beds, and one with a double bed . Walking distance to Huntingdale station, buses, shops and parks. Shuttle bus to Monash or walk 2.5 kms. (Or cycle on bike supplied.) Share the house facilities with 1 female and 1 male. Clean and friendly. No drugs. Also have a games room.

Most of my week will be taken up with study/class but I enjoy taking a break and hanging out with housemates in the evenings. My interests include reading, gym, quidditch, board games and the occasional drink. Looking for a home, not just a room.
My partner and I are very respectable and open minded. I am Australian and Bianca is Peruvian. We are clean and generally keep to ourselves due to study commitments. I am studying online fulltime- Psychology and Children and Family Studies. I will need to undertake 2 days placement for my studies and I will be working every Saturday in my hometown. Bianca will be studying fulltime to undertake a Masters in Business Administration. We are also happy to share meals on occasion or just keep to ourselves. Meeting new people is something I really enjoy doing and have been described as very easy going, caring and courteous by my friends. I am courteous and respectful of people's space and time. I strongly believe in creating a positive atmosphere in which people are free to express themselves in doing so we can learn and share from one another. I have shared house with 3 males before! All of us really went along! Also I shared the unit ( 2 bedroom) with another male flatmate over half year! I always respected him.
Really easy going, neither of us really mind much about anything. We're both used to loud households, so we don't really care about noise. We clean, we cook, we bake, and we have amazing consols, games and a banging TV

I am a friendly and outgoing person that enjoys travelling, meeting new people and doing sports! Running, climbing, hiking and practising yoga are my big passions as well as studying sciences :) I am currently doing a masters in Germany and will be coming to Melbourne to work on my masters thesis at Monash Uni. Sharing a flat with someone is like being a little family for me, so I care for and respect my flatmates and like to spend time with them - flat dinners and board game evenings are always welcome! However, I can totally understand when someone wants to stay alone and have their privacy, too! :) If you also like to recycle, keep the house clean and organised and talk to your flatmates about everything and anything, then I believe we will get on pretty well :)

me and my husband looking for a ideal place to leave near to the public transport services. both of us doing a work on casual and my husband doing a masters of accounting course at part time.
I'm extremely tidy and independent, I work part-time, volunteer and am honest and reliable. I'm really down to earth and while I'm not the type of person to throw parties or play loud music at late hours in the night, as I'll be studying at Monash Uni, however I do thrive in this world by having a friend or two over every now and then for a coffee and some Netflix binging, having board game nights or general gaming nights. I'm looking for someone chill and good company, but also respectful and reliable with rent and cleaning up after themselves. While very young, I'm pretty mature and known for my independent nature. I'm in quite a hurry to find a place for myself as I need to move out of my current residence by March so it's probably too late for me to team up and find a place to rent (it's generally a long process) unless you've found a place already! So anyone offering a room in a house/flat/apartment do not be afraid to hit me up. Also quality banter is a requirement.
IHi there, my name is Alexander. I'm a 16 year old queer transboy. I am able to pay rent independently and I am not the party type, so you wont need to worry about that. I am moving schools and will be attending there, so living nearby would be ideal. I am pescatarian if that's okay!
