I’m outdoorsy, a foodie and coffee lover, somewhat social but do like my own time occasionally. Would prefer (obviously not a big issue) if housemates were also fit, adventures or outdoorsy aswell. Also if you speak Portuguese or Spanish or any other language (I don’t but would love to learn and be in a household that does)
I will be reliable with payments, as I work two jobs, and earn enough to support myself. I’m currently cooking and cleaning for a whole family house hold so I am a tidy person and will care for myself. I would appreciate my own room; and as I am a social person I’d love to become good friends with my new house mates, and would appreciate being aloud to have mates over (definitely not essential). I am desperate to move out of home, and would appreciate a house ASAP!! 😊
Sunny 4 bedroom home with large garden and pool. 2 living areas. 3 way bathroom (separate basin, toilet and bath areas). Ducted heating plus log fire. Room available to open minded working people. Prefer female housemates. We are nice people who are friendly and mature. No wild parties. Lots of laughs though! Rate includes bills (Netflix, electricity, water). No couples sorry. Fully furnished and equipped house. Just bring your bedroom furniture, clothes and linen. Room has a built in wardrobe (no ugly mirrored doors). Large window overlooking garden and pool. Walk to Tuggeranong offices or 8 minutes by bus. Buses go to Woden, City and Tuggeranong. Nearest bus stop is 2 minutes walk. Wifi, Netflix and all bills included. You will have your own space in the fridge and pantry as everyone seems to eat at different times! 3 spots in the driveway - so you'll mostly be able to park off the street. Though it is a very quiet street anyway. Great references are a must. 2 weeks bond required. Calm, safe household. Queer friendly. No drugs. Not negotiable.
Moving from Melbourne and will be commencing employment with DHS at Tuggeranong. Easy going and social but respect others privacy. Can cook and love working out. Seeking like minded individuals to share property with.
Hi, very easy going person, work full time, likes to keep very fit, into MTB riding and triathlons.
We live Monash in quiet a street. The bills are included in the rent eg. Gas, water, electricity and internet. We are a 6 min drive from Tuggeranong and a 15min walk to Erindale. This 5 bedroom house includes evaporative cooling for those hot summer days, and heating for those freezing winter nights, good size living areas The room is fully furnished right now with built-in wardrobe, but we are happy to work with your needs to make you feel more at home. We have 2 Toy Pomeranians and a cat
Hi, I'm Grant, a pretty chilled out kind of guy looking to rent out a couple of rooms to help with the mortgage. This townhouse comes complete with furnishings, a great housemate in me, a happy dog, all in a nice neighborhood within walking distance to Tuggeranong shops.
Our home is literally filled with natural light. Each bedroom has its own external access and floor to ceiling windows that catch the afternoon sun, perfect for winter as the room warms up while you are at work and stays warm once the curtains are closed. If you work in Tuggeranong, it's possible to live comfortably without a car and to cycle to work and shops. The nearest coffee is only 10 minutes walk away, shops are 10 minutes by bicycle. There is a courtyard front and back for catching some sunlight before or after work. Backyard is low maintenance but large and has space for creativity and plants if you are a keen gardener. Freshly painted throughout, carpet free so low maintenance and great for dust allergies. Dishwasher in the kitchen makes life slightly easier and we have a complete kitchen set up including crockery, cookware and coffee grinder! The house is fully furnished at the moment, space can be created for additional furniture, or you can just move in. There is a washing machine and fridge. We are pet friendly, with two very affectionate dogs. One dog is cautious around others so introductions are slow and we may need to keep an additional furry friend seperate. Most cats are not an issue, Pumpkin has been known to open the back door for his feline friends to use the bathroom, so is a complete gentlemen in that regard. House is home to two female public servants, with interstate partners who visit some weekends. We share a bathroom but haven’t had issues with queues in the mornings. We enjoy a glass of wine or sharing a meal occasionally. And chatting at the end of the day. With two courtyards and a large lounge there’s plenty of space for friends to visit without interrupting each other. I’m open to short term renters so feel free to discuss if we can make something work for you.
Hey! So I'm a student studying at CMA in mitchell, I'll be a qualified beauty therapist by the end of year. I'm quite, clean and very friendly. I tend to get along with anyone. I keep to myself a lot. Although, I don't mind spending a few nights together or having a chat. I'm young and creative and enjoy just hanging around watching Netflix or doing some baking. Always been a Canberra gal, im not a loud person nor am I a partier. That doesn't stop me from the one off nights where I might wanna go out. I'd be down with hanging and having a few drinks. I have a small inside dog, everyone adores him, his a great dog who gets along with other animals too. His names Xavier and his a shoodle :) I can't afford much due to being a student, once I'm a qualified therapist I hope to do mobile/at home treatments. I would prefer living with another individual or alone. This is due to me being extremely shy and anxious. I would like to open up and meet new people though too. I love nerding out- I love marvel, DC reading comics, game of thrones, depending how nerdy you are I can play magic the gathering and always down to learn a new thing or two ! I’m super super shy I can’t stress that enough, but once I’m comfortable I’m sure we’d get on fine! I do have a few LGBT friends that would potentially come over so I’d prefer if I was living with someone who accepts them. Let me know if you’d like to know more about me.
Hey, I'm Jacob! I am a 27-year-old male looking for a share place in Canberra. I am easy going, social but also enjoy my own time. I also consider myself responsible and clean. It is a little strange writing about myself - but I would love to meet you and discuss the possibility of sharing something cool. In a nutshell: I am a full time public servant - who enjoys soccer, music, movie nights, gaming, board games and hummus. Seriously hummus is really nice. Not overly phased about the location and i am flexible with a commencement date.
Hi there. I'm a pretty low maintenance and highly responsible professional adult. i pay the rent on time, I clean, i respect people's space. I'm an ex-engineering drafter/designer turned Personal Trainer. I'm working full time in the hospitality industry while I study to become a personal trainer with the Australian Institute of Fitness. I'm fairly active and am not home too much.
I'm a uni student and a barman so I'm seldom home. I play rugby and if I'm not working or studying I'm usually training. when I am home and not doing anything I usually read or watch Netflix. I'm a pre good cook and am happy to get myself a mini fridge for my pre cooking. I come with my kitchen knives and pans. I just need a roof, a bed, somewhere to wash, somewhere to cook, and somewhere to eat. I almost never party, and when I do see my friends it's usually to play board games or dungeons and dragons.
WHO: I'm a full-time worker who is clean and reliable but also very quiet. I do tend to keep to myself but I am happy for a chat now and then. I’m vegan, non-drinking and non-smoking (but don’t mind if you’re not), and I am queer-friendly and pet-friendly. My current housemate/landlord can provide a reference if desired. I have lots of sharehouse experience and references are available. WHAT: I’m looking for a tidy place that I can come home to after work and on weekends knowing I can relax in peace and quiet (no ad hoc parties!). I have my own furniture and am hoping to fit a single bed, chest of drawers, bookcase and desk in my room. I also have a small amount of my own cookware for the kitchen, if it can be accommodated. Ideal housemates will be tidy, responsible, and considerate of others. I don’t mind if you drink/smoke/eat meat as long as there’s no smoking indoors or disruptive drunkenness. WHERE: Anywhere in the ACT, so don’t be put off if your suburb isn’t in my preferred list. WHEN: I need to move by June 30 at latest; if moving sooner than that I need to give 2 weeks notice at my current address. HOW: If you would like to meet me and show me your place, please send me a message (with any extra helpful info that is not in your listing), and we'll go from there.
The room is furnished with single bed + mattress and study desk. The house is about 7 min walking to DHS, Hyperdome shopping centre, DHS, and its easily accessible to Tuggeranong bus stop.. You would have your own bathroom and potentially your own living area. Pet not allowed Inspection can be organised by appointment Ideal for single person
33 yr old male. Full time IT worker in Tuggeranong, I enjoy a clean and tidy home. Always pay my bills in full and on time. I go to the gym most afternoons, and will generally keep to myself the rest of the time. While I will make most of my food at home I wash my dishes and clean the kitchen IMMEDIATELY after use. I'm a pretty avid PC user so I'll mostly be in my room, although I don't mind sitting down for Netflix and chill or a meal with the flatties. Don't mind the occasional social outing or sneaky beverage on the weekend (I'm certainly no party animal tho)... I'm generally pretty timid and very respectable of others personal space and living arrangements. I have been living and working in Canberra for around 18 months and looking to move closer to work for convenience.
I'm easy, no stress, pretty chill I've got a PS4 and I'm usually down to watch a movie but also don't care if I'm not really talked to. I have a cat named Berlioz, he's super fluffy and loves people and cuddles so thats pretty good; we are a package deal though. Right now I'm working two jobs so probably wouldn't be home all the time but I'm pretty clean but not crazy about mess.
We are a young couple from Newcastle and we are moving to Canberra for work at very short notice. We urgently require short-term accommodation until we can get settled in and find our own place. We would like to move in preferably no later than the beginning of June. Our preferred length of stay is around 2-3 months but we can be flexible with this. Elliott (22 y.o.) - Public servant; currently working as a research assistant and finishing the last semester of a commerce degree via distance. Michelle (27 y.o.) - Recently completed a B.A. in politics and international relations; moving to Canberra to work and study at ANU. • We are mature, respectful, and clean up after ourselves. • We're sociable and easy to get along with, but we also appreciate having our own space. • We'll be working full-time hours Monday-Friday and studying during nights/weekends, so we're looking for housemates who are quiet and considerate, especially during the evening. (We don't mind sharing with other students as long as it's not a noisy 'party house' type environment). • We're not adverse to hanging out occasionally — it would be nice to know some locals who can show us around the city and recommend things to see/do in Canberra :) • Hoping to find a room that's already furnished because we'll need time to acquire our own furniture. A queen bed would be ideal because all of our sheets, quilts etc. are queen size (and Elliott is probably too tall to sleep on anything smaller). • We'll need parking space (Elliott has a car and I plan to bring mine down from Newcastle in the near future, too). • I'll be relying on public transport for at least a few weeks, so accommodation located reasonably close to public transport is a must. • We would prefer to have our own bathroom/ensuite (if possible) but we're not in a position to be too fussy. • Decent internet/Wi-Fi and heating/cooling is essential.
Hi!! I'm moving to Canberra with work - a paintball company! I love to have a drink or two every now and then but I prefer a place that doesn't have weekly parties. I love making new friends but alsl value my alone time. Im very clean and enjoy a clean home. Weekends are my most full on days with work so you'll find me in bed by 9pm those nights. My passions are biking, and animals - if you have animals you can guarantee I'll look after them as if they're my own.
Hello! I am a recent high school graduate and have just moved to Canberra from Sydney to work here as an Apprentice in the public service for IT. I am of South Korean background and moved to Australia when i was younger. Currently I am staying with my sister while I find a place to move out to. I am very self aware and i actually enjoy cleaning up after self. I also enjoy company and definitely look forward to meeting new people and spending time together but i also understand and appreciate the need for privacy and time alone.
