Hi guys! I have just moved over to Australia by myself from the UK on a permanent residency. I'm an occupational therapist. I am looking to be based fairly central eg West End, North Ward, Belgian Gardens. I originally came out to Australia in 2008 on a WHV and fell in love with the country so vowed to get back here one day- and I made it- yay me! I'm well travelled having spent approx 5 years working and living in NZ, Aus, SE Asia, Canada and Central America. I love keeping fit- it's very important to me. I go to the gym regularly, prefer to cycle most places rather than drive and practice ashtanga yoga. I'm very excited that there is an ashtanga studio in Townsville as its been hard to find one out of major cities in Australia! I lovveeee my food so totally keen on being shown some fine eateries in the area. Jen pro's :I'm fully house trained, clean, quiet, respectful and super approachable. I'm pretty hilarious if I do say so myself so that'll be fun for you, I am generally up for anything so any activities you've been meaning to do but no one to go with- I'm there, I'll introduce you to some awesome English music, I make really good overnight oats and healthy muffins which I might share. Jen con's: Well, I'm English so I am a whinger sometimes but its just in my blood, I will argue that "soccer" is called FOOTBALL- we created it guys, I'm not a morning person, I love vegging out watching love island and providing a commentary throughout, I probably wont be able to keep up with you Aussies drinking as I'm a lightweight. Please get in touch if I sound like your cup of tea.... Cheers for reading :)
I’m a 25 year old full time shift worker. Im looking for an unfurnished room but would also be interested in teaming up at a new place. It would be awesome to share with someone who also does shift work or who is understanding of it. I love socialising and am always up for a drink however also enjoy time to myself!
Hi there! I recently quit my full-time HR job to go traveling and am now moving up to Townsville to pursue the Marine Science dream at JCU in 2019. I will be studying full time, working part-time and like to keep myself busy with diving, gym, photography etc. I'm fairly social but also like my own space. I'm looking to live with some people that I might eventually call friends. Love animals! Bringing a car too.
Hey, my names Angie. I'm an English, I moved to Townsville for work in the youth sector and looking at somewhere to stay. I do work shift work so some nights I wouldn't be there due to sleep over shifts. I'd say I'm quite an easy going lass and can generally get on well with everyone. I don't mind a night out, a few friends over for a bottle of wine or just a night in reading a book. Interests: fitness, rock music, gaming, cooking and baking, arts and crafts, adventures, hikes, castle hill etc Looking at finding a nice, modern place with a good view from the balcony and a pool.
Hey I'm Kylie, I'm a student from Brisbane taking a 6 month leave of absence to work in Townsville. I'm really excited for a change of scenery and the possibility to make some friends in a new city. I love music and animals and I sincerely hope the Townsville heat doesn't kill me.

I’m new to townwville so won’t have people around as such and love a fairly busy lifestyle, so I won’t be in your way.

Hi, I am a Dutchy, and will come to Townsville to do my internship at the AIMS. I like hiking, climbing, surfing, swimming and chilling (who does not?). I look forward exploring the beautiful nature and the open minded culture of Australia. Hoping to find a cosy house with multiple students or same-aged, with whom I can share my good times in Australia. If possible I would like to share a regular dinner or breakfast and go on a regular adventure with my future flatmates!
Hello everyone! A spacious room at a beautiful sharehouse on Mitchell St, North Ward is available. The exact date is flexible, but preferably in the coming week. Rent is $155/week, plus bills which are usually an extra $15-20 a week 🙂 You’ll be living with three others, two boys and one girl, in a huge two story house, sharing the bathroom with one other. The house has fans, aircon, and a pool for the Townsville heat, and we’re one street back from the beach (max 2min walk) which sends a wonderful breeze through. Our house is 1-2mins from the Coles shopping complex, all of the cafes, bars and restaurants on the strand, and about a 20min stroll into the city. It’s about a 30min bus to uni from there, or a 20min drive from home. I have reeeeally loved living in this house, and I’m sure you will too.
A few of the key features: - Chillest veranda in Townsville. Comes with a table with art from some of the best street artists of the region, regular visits from native birds, 11 orchids (one might be dead). - A pool. Not much to say about that, apart that we live in Townsville and that half of the year is boiling hot so you'll love it - Regular pot luck dinners, because cooking, eating and sharing is the best. Dishes as intercultural as Townsville. Sometimes Italian friends and family will come visit and you'll be blessed with 24/7 pasta - Occasional Jams. We sometime pick up guitars, ukuleles, some weird drum like thing that you sit on, our incredible voices, and make some music. you're free to join, invite your friends to join or record us and upload the videos to "untalentedpeople.com"

I'm an responsible 18yr old and I'm not a party animal, I'm currently looking for full-time work in the hospitality industry, I'm shy at first but once I get to know you properly I'm pretty outgoing. I've been on and off the streets for the past 2yrs but I'm trying to just stay in one town so I can get the help I need with my mental health.
I am moving back to Townsville in January 2019 after 3 years in Brisbane. Prior to that, I rented out the rooms in my home to between 3 and 5 International Uni Students for 8 years from 2007 to 2015. I lived with them also and it was the most amazing experience. I am planning on returning to North Ward where I have lived for some time in my own unit (at Stanton Crest). I am a mature age, single woman and work part time in Aged Care and in the Disability Sector.
