I'm currently still completing year 12, and intend to do further study at UNI. I've been working at a cafe for 3 years and enjoy it very much. I can be a social person, chat about mutual interests and enjoy getting to know people. I also enjoy my alone quiet time as well. I can confidently say I am mature for my age, due to growing up with a single parent and three younger brothers. Also meaning I am no stranger to cleaning up my own mess as well as assisting to keep the household tidy. I'm into reading and watching a few different TV shows, also a huge cat person, so wouldn't mind moving into a house with a cat or any type of animal! I've been in Canberra for majority of my life and intend to stay here. I'm not planning to move out until later in the year however, and just want to extend my feelers out to see what's available. Thanks!

We have a room to spare and hope that you dont care that room is a little small but you can still throw a ball. It'll fit a queen size bed, so you wont be hitting your head. Theres also space for your clothes so don't worry about those. You'll share a bathroom with Rosie and Jack, once you move in you wont look back. We have a pool table which is fun, come downstairs and we will show you how it's done. Outside we have a great time with the BBQ, you can bring your friends and we can all have a few. Come join us in the dining room that we have downstairs, even hungover or in your pj's - nobody cares. The people who live here just go with the flow, these are the names and a little bio. Rosie is loud, an English Geordie and proud. She's a pretty great girl so give her a twirl. Jack is just chill, his phone is his thrill. He's lived here for years and so he definitely cares. Heathy is lots of fun, just dont make her run. She loves to talk and has a little sassy walk. Justin plays on his games so likes his own space and doesnt really show his face. He likes to stay in his room but maybe one day he'll come out to bloom. All we ask is for you to help keep the place clean, If you aren't messy or smelly then we're keen! Give us a message and we'll get back in touch, then we'll make arrangenents for vewings and such!

I am happy to clean regularly to keep things tidy. I enjoy cooking and baking. I do not have much of a green thumb but am excellent at watering plants. I have lived in Canberra for almost 5 years now originally from Newcastle, NSW. I love the beach and get back to Newcastle as often as I can. If you have any questions, feel free to ask 😊

WHO: I’m planning to move from Melbourne to Canberra soon - I have my eyes on ANU in 2018 so I want to spend the next year working and getting myself set up in Canberra. I’m quiet, independent and prefer to keep to myself. I’m not unfriendly and am happy to chat now and then but I am definitely not a party person. I’m clean, tidy and organised – when you see me around the house it will most likely be when I’m cleaning or in the kitchen preparing my meals for the week. I’m (mostly) vegan, don’t drink or smoke, and I am queer-friendly and pet-friendly. WHAT: I’m looking for a tidy sharehouse that I can come home to after work and on weekends knowing I can relax in peace and quiet. Ideal housemates will be tidy, responsible, and considerate of others. I don’t mind if you drink/smoke/eat meat as long as there’s no smoking indoors or drunkenness, and you don’t hang **** on me about my choices! I am looking for an unfurnished room that can fit a single bed, large chest of drawers, bookcase and desk. I will also need somewhere to park my car and some space in a kitchen cupboard for the bit of kitchenware I have. Internet access is also desirable. I’m hoping not to spend more than $200pw (plus bills) but would consider paying more for the right place. I’m hoping to stay long-term, but will also consider short-term opportunities. WHERE: As a newbie to Canberra I have no preference for area, so don’t be put off if your suburb is not in my list. My priority is finding the right place with affordable rent. WHEN: I can be flexible – hoping for mid- November but it will depend on what happens with work in Melbourne and, of course, when the right place is available. I would consider paying rent earlier than my actual move to secure the right place. HOW: I’m coming to Canberra next weekend (29-30 October) hoping to check out some places on the Saturday, and Sunday if need be. So if you would like to meet me and show me your place, or know more about me, please text or message me by Friday with a bit about your place and why you think I’ll be a good fit, and we’ll go from there. I might not be able to get around to everyone so the more you can tell me, the better!
I'm a first year ANU student who is looking for a new place to stay. I'm respectful and will always keep common areas clean. I love to watch movies and tv shows but am also a lover of books. I take my studies pretty seriously so when I have assignments I will pretty much be locked up in my room procrastinating. However, other than that I am quite sociable and enjoy a good chat with my roommates. I'm a pretty chill person and not much really gets to me that easily. Did I mention my love of animals? I seriously love animals. I had two dogs, a cat, a couple turtles, a hamster... In other words, I have no problems with pets. Also, I grew up in a bunch of different places (Malaysia and Japan just to name a couple) so I'm also really into traveling and learning about new cultures. Actually I myself am half Japanese and Australian so culture is one of my "things" I guess. If you're a friendly, inviting person who is open to living with a laid back person like me, please don't hesitate to contact me because I think we'd make perfect housemates!

The apartment is sunny, bright and clean, with an open plan living/kitchen area. There's a single garage with internal access and a garden view. The bedroom is spacious and has a large built-in wardrobe. It's right next door to a wonderful park with work out equipment. It's a five minute drive to the Gungahlin shops, a five minute walk to a local Woolies, and near multiple bus stops.
Your room: Well-sized, modern. The room fits a queen bed and a desk, and has a built-in robe. There's plenty of extra storage space around the house too. You would share the nearby bathroom (with bath) with one female. You can park your car in the garage for an extra $10 a week, or there's parking on the road. The house: New and energy-efficient. The living area is furnished and the kitchen is large and has gas cooking. The house comes with access to Netflix, a piano, and a great selection of board games. Herbs grow in the backyard. We share gas and electricity bills, and each pay $27 a month for internet (high speed NBN). The area: Peaceful and close to stuff. Crace is a 15 minute drive to the city or Belconnen (although a bit more in peak hour) and a 5 minute one to Gungahlin. The Crace Supabarn is 5 minutes by foot, and there's a lovely walking track around the whole suburb that's a block away from the house.
Female student studying education at ACU. Friendly and tidy and have lived in share house before. Comes with queen sized bed and a rodent in a small cage (very clean and hardly leaves cages, good with other pets). I'm a shy person but love to bond over movies, videogames and a drink.
Quiet mature-aged student with two small shih-tzu cross dogs looking for suitable long-term accommodation anywhere in the Greater CBR area. Conscientious, considerate of others, and respectful of privacy. Social as required, and always clean and tidy. References are available on request.
I am a 24 yo Frenchie, but living down under since nearly 4 years already. I study hospitality management at CIT in Reid and work in a hotel as well. So I am often pretty busy but I always enjoy having a chat and socialise! About myself: I am easygoing and well housetrained. I enjoy outdoors, kayaking, bike riding. I am flexible with move in date and length of stay; I want to find a house where everyone is happy to chat and share a meal or a drink, but also knows how to live with others :)
Not home a lot to be honest, keep busy with work, gym and social life. Enjoy dinner, wine or coffee catch up if your keen, but if not that's fine too. I'm easy going, clean and tidy. Don't smoke or party but like dinner parties every now and again. Want to know more than just ask.
I have recently moved to Canberra for work based in civic, and now looking for a long term accommodation. I am quiet, easy going and keen to make new friends. I do like to spend time alone on Netflix as well as do not mind to cook occasionally and chat over a glass of wine. I do cook good curries too!!
