My name’s Cherisse and I’m looking for somewhere to live in the ACT or Queanbeyan with housemates who are easygoing and fun. I’m pretty busy so I mostly keep to myself, but I’d love to live with people who share a few drinks or go out from time to time (I love love love karaoke). I’m a freelancer and often work from home, so I need a room with a reasonable amount of privacy and housemates who don’t mind helping me procrastinate through my writers block. Everywhere’s a twenty minute drive from everywhere else in Canberra, so the most important thing for me is finding housemates who are a good fit. Otherwise, I’m into fitness, don’t smoke, like animals and have a healthy fear of spiders. I come with an eight year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Dexter. He’s not very active, so he doesn’t need much space, but he does need secure fencing. He’s adorable, housetrained and loves cuddles and other dogs. I’m open to any sort of lease for any length of time. I’ve got my own furniture, internet and Netflix account, so all I really need is a bedroom. Hit me up if you’ve got a room that might suit me.
I work as an IT admin for the Australian Govt. I am also a musician - one of my downsides is that this can cause the occassional late night arrival home. I also have interests in woodworking, fishing, programming, gaming, mechanics and I'm attempting to learn Japanese and philosophy, amongst other things. As a result of my hobbies, i do have a reasonable amount of stuff and i would prefer to find a place where these things are welcomed or at least not minded, but i am flexible with this and am able to store what can't be accommodated. I am currently a home owner who is selling my home due the end of a long term relationship. I'm a tolerant and tidy non-smoker, with a decent sense of humour. I can't think of much else, but please feel free to stalk my Facebook profile and ask me anything.

Hi my name is Trent I’ve just moved back from the USA I’m look for a place that I can stay I work full time. I’m clean I don’t mind a chat but I mostly keep to my self.
Quiet neighbourhood and house has two living areas and a great outdoor entertainment set up for BBQs and relaxing. We are a Thai/Australian family so a female student that can bond with my 16 year old step daughter would be ideal. My wife and step daughter are Thai and I am Australian. Ideal location for students as there is plenty of privacy and space which is conducive to study. It has a good sized kitchen, ducted gas heating and ducted evaporative cooling to keep you warm or cool all year around. Looking for housemate who isrelaxed, quiet, tidy and happy to pitch in with housework and garden upkeep - not much to do in this regard. Palmerston is only 15 mins drive from the city, 10 mins from Belconnen and a single bus ride to both. ONLY FEMALES to apply as one of the rooms is occupied by my step daughter for part of the year when she visits, and we would prefer only females apply as the main bathroom will be shared with my step daughter. Please note NO PETS!!

I'm friendly, clean & neat, sociable and respectful of the privacy of others. I've lived in flat/house shares for a year and I am now a fully "trained" housemate. I'm working as a therapist and relatively new to Canberra. I may be returning to Sydney for work sometime. I have a Jack Russell female dog who is equally chilled and highly trained. At times, I work from home auditing cases. I'd love to hear from you. In my spare time, I paint and have an active social life on weekends. I tend to go for hikes with my dog, visit friends and I am involved in many side projects that keep me busy. I tend to watch too much TV and Netflix too. I'm looking for a long term stay.
I am 19 years old, second year nursing student. I work part time in Gungahlin with kids. I am originally from a small country town called West Wyalong, eager to move into a place in April. I would prefer an unfurnished bedroom, otherwise with everything else I am very flexible.
I live with a lovable goof of a LabradorX named Tycho. He loves people and belly rubs. His favourite thing to do is sleep on the floor or sofa in the company of his people. As for myself I am a quiet, self-professed gamer. Most of my time I spend on my computer streaming or playing games. I'm happy to have a chat but I like my own space as well. I work full time as a receptionist for a law firm in the city. I am looking to share a place with responsible, mature housemates with open communication and cooperation.
My brother Leigh (19), and I are moving to Canberra from Kalgoorlie in WA for work/an adventure. We both have jobs lined up and I will also be looking for a nursing job as I’ve just graduated from my degree. We are requiring a large enough room to share/two separate bedrooms in either an existing share house or to team up with others and form one. Our budget is approximately $170 each. We have one vehicle that we will be needing to park somewhere. Preferably the room(s) would be furnished however we can arrange minimal furniture if not. Our length of stay is undecided at the moment however it’ll be a minimum of 3 months. I intend on staying for around 6 months but there’s a small chance Leigh will go back to WA earlier. The two of us are social and would like to live somewhere we can get on well with our housemates. We enjoy training in the gym, cooking food, outdoorsy stuff and an occasional drink. We will however be working full time and no doubt will like some peace and quiet from time to time. After staying at our Mum’s house you can rest assured we are well trained in regards to cleanliness.
A bit about me I study primary teaching at UC and work in childcare part time. I am easy going and always down for a chat and a sneaky glass of wine but also respectful if people need their space and some quiet time. I am looking for a sharehouse with friendly people who’d rather be friends then just people who live with one another.
Hello! My name is Tali, I study at UC full-time and work part-time in after-school care. I'm currently living with my family here in Canberra, but am looking to gain some independence.. I have a cat, named Sassy (Sassoon), who is my fur-baby. He is an indoor boy who's both house trained and does not shed a lot. He is only 4-years old but spends most of his time sleeping on the couch. A little about me: I am 20-years old (nearly 21), and a Canberra-native. I have somewhat of an active socialife, but I'm unlikely to bring people over very often (besides BF). I have my own car, and come with my own furniture, as well as a fair amount of kitchen supplies. Thanks for having a look!! Tali xx Find me on insta @pickledangst or facebook
Hi, the name is Jess, Info about me; I’m looking into moving from my current sharehouse, i dont really have a timeframe just as soon as I can. I'm very trust-worthy, reliable, and respectful I expect others to be the same. I'm very down-to-earth and easy to get along with, I do keep to myself but I don't mind a chat. I’m currently working as a part-time nanny and studying at CIT. And I do have a German Shepherd dog. Yes she is big and hyperactive but she is very friendly and has a very playful nature. Goes for daily walks. (Doesn’t like adult dogs, sorry) (Puppies/young dogs are fine if introduced) Anymore info you would like, send me a message :)

Hi, We are looking for a new house to move into as our current landlord is selling their property. We are tidy and respectful tenants. We have a dog (German Shephard) and a cat (Burmese indoor cat).
I am a 29 yr old vet, who has recently moved to Canberra from Sydney. I love cooking and baking and sharing whatever I've made. I am always happy to sit and have a chat, but also respect the need for space. I clean up after myself and not opposed to doing whatever dishes there are in the sink. :)
