I am a professional business person seeking another mature minded person who is employed, and has a cheerful disposition, to share with myself and two others. The house has four bedrooms, with 3 living areas, one of which I partly use as a home office. The layout of the house is conducive to both socialising and privacy. Located next to the reserve and lake at Nicholls, it’s only a few minutes’ walk to shops; restaurants; Club Lime gym; free out-door gym; and bus stops. Your bedroom is large (4.2m x 3.6m) with a generous sized built in robe, and is fitted with professional picture rails so you can hang what you like, where you like on the walls. No long queues for the bathroom space as you will be sharing with just one other considerate male. The house has evaporative cooling, and the tiled areas of the house have under floor heating. We generally share the cooking. Although you don’t need to be a gourmet chef, knowing your way around a kitchen is an advantage. There is no extra charge for all household expenses which includes House Cleaner, Electricity and NBN. Food and your personal requisites are extra. In the past, other people that have stayed long term have been Professionals, Semi-Professionals, Working Students, Military and Tradies. No couples please, but your overnight guests are most welcome. This is a non-smoking household, but outside smokers would be welcomed.
The house boasts a beautiful Al Fresco area. Great size room, pool table and large bath tub. Upstairs and downstairs bathroom. 15 minute drive from the Civic. The property is only a five minute drive to Gungahlin and Casey shops. We also have a Superbarn, pub and cafe just a two minute walk away. We have a great sized yard for BBQ's and socialising. A dining room, large kitchen/pool room. Double garage, unlimited street parking and a double driveway, washer and dryer. The room is at the back of the house so lots of privacy, however the housemates are always down for a chat or a chill. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and we have an aerial downstairs for TV. The room is pretty large, you can easily get a queen bed plus other furniture, and there's also a fitted wardrobe and shelves. There's a study area at the top of the stairs if needed.

There is a small pet Pomeranian puppy who is friendly and basically just another house mate - this dog is not one of those annoying dogs :) The house was built in 2013 and is as follows: 4 bedrooms 12 person salt water spa Gym (better than most hotels) Gourmet kitchen Theatre room NBN internet Fully furnished house 2 stories - all bedrooms are on the second floor Internet is included in the rental price however bills (electricity, gas and water) will be split 3 ways every quarter. You will have a shared bathroom however there is a powder room for any potential female tenants to use for any makeup requirements if needed. 4 weeks bond and 2 weeks rent required. A little lowdown about me! I'm 26, easy going, friendly and a bit funny. Originally from Newcastle, England, I've been living in Australia since 2014. I've travelled the East Coast and lived in the outback for 16 months, but planted my roots in Canberra since February where I've been lucky enough to be sponsored as a permanent resident. For work, I spend my days entertaining the youth of today in early childhood education. Socialising and road trips are two things that make me very happy. My friendship circle here is so diverse but it's great and we're always keen to expand! I do enjoy a cup of tea in the mornings so as long as we have a kettle I'll be happy. I'm a pretty clean person and I would expect whoever I'm living with to have the same respect in regards to keeping a place tidy. I think communication plays a huge role in a house share, I feel that by living in a shared house you need to be open and honest about any issues that may arise to make living a happy life even easier :) I'm a socialiable and pretty happy person so I would love to live with someone who isn't just hiding in their room all the time. However, I won't be clawing your door down for company as I still enjoy to just chill on my own sometimes, too. I'm pretty laid back, but as I work in childcare I have 0 tolerance towards hard drugs being used in the house or around me. However, if it's the weekend I'm always keen for a little drink or two. If you think you've got the perfect place just send me a quick little message and we can get something arranged! I have all my own furniture, too, so pretty much happy to move in hopefully within a week or two of viewing and agreeing upon the place :)
I am a tidy, friendly, happy person who enjoys my own space but also likes to be social. Work takes up a fair bit of my time but I like to have down time as well to do other things that I enjoy. I am happy to clean regularly to keep things tidy. I enjoy cooking and baking. I do not have much of a green thumb but am excellent at watering plants. I have lived in Canberra for almost 5 years now originally from Newcastle, NSW. I love the beach and get back to Newcastle as often as I can. If you have any questions, feel free to ask 😊
I have just secured a role in Canberra, as I live in Melbourne at the moment I will require living arrangements in early January 2017. I work in the Occupational health sector. I have been informed that I will be in Canberra on the 19th of December approx. to do a handover with my predecessor for several days before they finish up. I was hoping to have a look at a few properties during this time. Call me to discuss further. Thanks

Hi I'm moving to Canberra to be closer to family. I'm going to miss the beautiful beach life from down here on the Mornington Peninsula. I have a home I'm going to rent but it's not available until April so I need to find a share home in the meantime. I would like to share it with a Flatmate that enjoys a chilled home and intelligent company. I'm a sculptor and Clinical Hypnotherapist/Psychotherapist and am looking forward to a new chapter in life closer to my kids who live and work in Canberra. My little mate Monty who is a rescue cat, who everyone who comes here say is so chilled and gorgeous. I am anti drugs so please don't offer to team up or move in with me if you do them. Apart from that, I've had students live with me over the years, and we are all still great friends all these years later. So I guess that speaks volumes.
Hi! I'm looking for a flat mate as I am fairly new to Canberra. I am a young professional student who works full time. I'm a tidy person who respects others privacy but am always up for a laugh and to hang out :)

I'm looking for an affordable and comfortable place to stay in the ACT, because I love living around Canberra. I work as a translator, and although I am friendly, I am also introverted and I mostly keep to myself. In my spare time, I enjoy playing video games and reading. I'm not naturally tidy, but I don't like filth, so I may leave things lying around sometimes but otherwise I keep things clean.
Professional female, I've been renting for four years but my lease is ending shortly. Looking anywhere around the Canberra Area. I work in real estate 6 days a week, I'm not home very much but when I am at home I do enjoy relaxing and unwinding.
I'm 34, work full-time in medical admin; and I'll be commencing part-time study next year. I'm a friendly person and happy to have a chat but I'm quiet most of the time and appreciate my space. I'm more than happy to pull my weight and do housework. I'm respectful of others and their property. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, reading books and going for walks/bike rides. I'm reliable, clean and tidy and a non-smoker.
I have studied in quite a few places, including Hong Kong, Australia and the United States; such experiences have made me cosmopolitan. I am also a tiny person and willing to help out whenever I can :-) Looking forward to sharing a house with others and creating a happy living environment together!
I am starting an apprenticeship in Canberra, looking for a quiet place to live and nice decent people to live with. I am a country boy, with a quiet disposition and not a party animal. Just want to find my feet and get stuck into my career becoming a builder. From Crookwell, will most likely go home every weekend for a start. Can have a joke and be social. Dont smoke, dont have a pet, just me.
Extremely tidy and clean, easygoing, quiet, not into partying at home, friendly, like to cook. Carpenter, have lived in Canberra all my life. Like watching movies, gym, keeping fit, being with friends
