Seeking something bigger (3-4BR) around Belconnen region. We're able to afford $250-300pw each ($500-600 total), so a third would increase our renting budget and we could get something nice and comfortable. MUST LIKE CATS. There is also a cat. No dogs please. One more cat is OK. Sande is a 36yo single female public servant with a very friendly, toilet trained cat called Yin (Yinneko). I used to be in the Army and spent most of my 12 year career living with housemates. As well as working full time, I'm still an Army reservist and sing in a band so I'm rarely home before 6 or 7 pm during the week and tucked into bed by 10. I like to get out of the house on weekends if the weather is nice: I'll generally go have a picnic or spend time with my friends but when I am home, I like to COOK (bake or meal prep), watch TV or listen to music, podcasts or audiobooks and crochet, sew, or craft. I read avidly, write (songs/journaling) and draw. I'm passionate about overseas travel and will happily help you plan any trips if you'd like assistance - I should be a travel agent, but unfortunately it doesn't pay enough LOL I have wheels and all of my own furniture including a TV with surround sound, 2 and 3 seater lounge suite, TV, Refrigerator, Washing machine, and of course my own bedroom furniture as well as a few bookcases, large desk and a 6-seater outdoor setting. If you have any of your own furtniture, I am happy to discuss what goes where - 3 people in a 4 BR place can make use of the extra bedroom as a second lounge, which could be a nice touch, and I firmly believe you can NEVER have too many fridges!! :) Pepa is a friendly, happy and tidy 21 year old Public Servant from QLD. She travels interstate regularly to spend time with her boyfriend and family. She generally keeps to herself so she can study but does love to chat and spend time with friends. She only has bedroom furniture at this stage and her footprint is small. Without her own car (yet), Pepa will need to be near a bus stop so this will need to be considered when looking at rentals. If you don't like cats, are allergic or have indoor pets of your own, this may not be the ideal situation. Yin is an independent DSH Rescue and she just LOVES people. Her favourite passtimes include eating and sleeping. Sande is happy to introduce Yin to another cat, and is willing to put in the time and effort needed to ensure a harmonious environment for all creatures involved, provided you reciprocate. Sande has a few ex-housemates who are more than happy to discuss what it's like living with me. I've remained friends with most of them. I'm looking at 1 year leases with option to continue beyond this if circumstances remain extant.
