Working as a lecturer in Collingwood part time while completing my PhD in fine art. Like strong coffee in the morning, don't mind the occasional glass of wine or beer on the weekend (especially when cheese platters are involved) and I'm a professional artist and photographer by trade. New to the area, moved for work and looking forward to calling Melbourne home. I read in my downtime, I'm quiet but sociable and love exploring new places. Happy to answer any questions, just send me a message :)
I am quiet and respectful. I like a good conversation but also like to keep to myself. I am hoping to live with people that have an open mind because I am recovering from a traffic accident as a pedestrian. I don't have any significant physical injuries, but I find it confronting to be out in traffic these days and I get easily overwhelmed but I have great support. I was studying law and am still interested in humanitarian issues. Since the accident, I don’t go out much and probably wouldn’t feel too comfortable in a social house with people coming and going all the time. Having said that I may have some people visiting me during the day to help me with things like shopping and cooking until I get properly settled. If this would be inconvenient then it probably isn’t a good fit. I am hoping to find a place with a garden to tend and am happy to create a vegetable garden if there is space and with permission of course. I am very friendly. I don't drink or smoke. No pets. Finances are good. Happy to set up automatic payments for rent.
Only 5-10 min walk to the train (45 min express to CBD) and township of Hurstbridge, my home is surrounded by nature, I have lovely gardens and beautiful neighbours and is a relaxing place to be. This home is close to the Latrobe Bundoora campus and only 35 min from the airport and close to the Yarra Valley. I have a Weber BBQ and also Netflix available and aircon, and central heating/fireplace. I also grow organic veggies, so these can be shared with flatmate.
I’m an easy going mature male. I work FT Mostly on the road. I’m Pretty low-key I enjoy great food, good company, and some quite time to chill. Love music the arts and all things beautiful and natural. I’m neat & tidy and responsible. I’d be sad if I couldn’t bring my cat Alpha along with me. She’s well trained and very friendly :)
Beautiful limestone home on 5 acres. Located on the rural fringe of Melbourne with an hours commute to the city. The property is 4km outside township of Hurstbridge. It is a very quiet and peaceful place. There is abundant bird life and wildlife, especially kangaroos that travel through the property every day. The room has a sturdy queen sized bed with two bed side tables, lamps, room for a desk, built in robes. It has a picturesque view to the King lake Ranges. A car port is available and a storage shed. There is also an above ground pool and outdoor entertaining area. The main bathroom is shared by one other. Your privacy is respected. References from past lodgers are available.
Hey, I'm Jeremy! I'm a substitute teacher (CRT) and OSHC worker at a primary school. In my spare time I write and record music (but never at home so you wouldn't have to worry about the noise). I can be both social and solitary, so if you're up for hanging out and having a chat, I'll be too! I always clean up after myself and I'd never leave a trail of mess around the house. I'm looking for share mates who are positive, easy going and considerate. Sometimes I will be at my partner's place, other times I'll be home, and some days he will stay over. I have a small indoor cat and would love to bring her along, but there are other arrangements for her if she can't join your place :). My move in date is set at mid-March but in reality it is flexible!
Im a friendly, kind person, extremely loyal and caring. I'm extremely tidy, like my privacy at times most of all, trustworthy. I've worked at Melbourne International Airport as a leading hand for most international aircraft, also IFE (IN FLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT) servicing ipads, uploading the latest movies ect for JQ *JETSTAR AIRLINES for seven years. I'm a happy person with a fully trained Burmese/Tonconease cat which I had trained since she was x4 weeks old, her name is Mitsy, very clean in every way. I'm now also in the process to better myself career wise. I could go on, however, I'll leave it there. 😀
Large room with small ensuite. Built in wardrobe. 2 dogs currently living in the house. Pet friendly but would prefer not to have a 3rd dog. Unlimited internet available. Street parking out the front and 1 spot under cover in driveway. Currently only 1 occupant who lives downstairs. Room can be furnished if required. Tennant will have own living room, bedroom and the choice of 2 bathrooms upstairs. 200m walk from train station. 1 minute walk to local cafe. Evaporative air conditioning, split system upstairs, ducted heating throughout whole house and open fireplace downstairs
Hey I’m just looking for a place that’ll be closer to work and uni. I work casually 5 days a week in Greensborough and am studying nursing at ACU in the city. I’ve also got an 8 month old border collie puppy so looking for a place that allows pets with a decent sized yard :)
I’m a 35 yo solicitor working part time at a local law firm. I have an awesome dog named Noodle. He’s 7 months so can be a bit energetic, but I spend a lot of time on his training. Outside of work I volunteer once a week with a program running horse riding lessons for kids with disabilities. I also try to go out riding myself 1 x per week. I like to chill out at home and not looking for a party house (or late nights). But totally understand people have lives so for me it’s all about communication in the house and we’ll get on just fine :)
Hi my name is Charley, I am 21 years old and work full time in Mill Park on a rotating roster that includes weekends. I am easy going and I am respectful of other peoples space. I am quite neat and tidy plus organised when it comes to paying bills. I do enjoy my own space but will never turn down a chat/dinner/night out. In my spare time I am a cheerleader so I train two nights a week plus competitions on the occasional weekend. On my days off if I am not catching up on housework and chores I love to go down to the beach for a surf/tan, explore and go for day trips or just chill out and catch up on my new tv addiction. I'm hoping to find someone who is like minded and can become friends with not just housemates. I currently live with two other girls however our lease is running out and we are all going in different directions. I look forward to hearing from you :)
Have just finished studying Sound Production and work casually with a Record Label doing sound engineering and artist management. Alongside that I have 2 other part-time jobs; waitressing at a restaurant chain, supervising at a cinema chain and nannying a couple times a week. It's safe to say that I'm a busy bee but love my social life and downtime, you'll often find me heading out with friends or more often having friends over for a few drinks, binge watching tv shows or reading in the sun/next to a heater. I'm very easy going, extremely clean and tidy and respectful. One thing that should be very clearly noted is that I have two small dogs; a moodle (Maltese x toy poodle) named Suzie and a Maltese x Jack Russel named Lucy. They're super friendly and love a cuddle; I am not expecting anyone to take on any responsibility whatsoever when it comes to looking after them, if you want to take them for walks and hang out with them though you're more than welcome to.
Hi! My name is Ruby, i'm 20 years old and currently work part-time in hospitality as a bartender/waitress. I will be doing a traineeship/ studying architecture and building design at tafe starting this June, and am looking for a sharehouse or room to move into! I'm not a party animal, but love cracking open a cold one with the boys every so often. I have a fantastic sense of humour and would love to live with people who i can occasionally joke around with, as i can be a fairly quiet person otherwise. I love listening to music, animals, craft beer, coffee and cooking.
Hi all, Are you looking for an affordable nature getaway living space that’s not too far from the city? Do you want nature at your door step with a great entertaining area and an outdoor fireplace for winter gatherings. Lush gardens, mature ironbarks that the lorikeets, and owls love and organic vegetable garden beds. The room available is $600pcm. The house also offers a seperate room that we do not rent out that is used as a communal study/office and can be modified to suit the needs of any future housemate. 10 minutes stroll to metro train station, local shops, parks, gymnasium and public pool. Plenty of off street secure parking, enough for 4 cars. 🙂 Matt
Rent inlcudes all bills (including unlimited NBN). The house has all the main essential furniture already except for the bedroom. Located across the road from coles, maccas, the train station and bus stops so its no more than a 5 minute walk to any of them. There is 1 split system heater/aircon in the lounge room but it cools/heats the flat pretty good on most occasions.
Hi I’m Sheldon and I’m a personable, respectful, easy going, clean and tidy professional who has moved in June from Perth for work in the construction industry… I have a healthy outlook on life and exercise regularly. Love dogs, beach, good food, wine and being around fun happy people… Look forward to meeting new interesting people and finding that quiet comfortable space to call home...
I'm pretty chilled, tidy and friendly. I enjoy people and socialising, but prefer small groups to big groups. I work in mental health and spend my working days are generally full on so I like to chill, do yoga, walk, read or meditate on my off days. I'm learning shiatsu and loooove having people to practise on. I teach meditation at the Melbourne Buddhist Centre and I'm interested in Mindfulness for pain management and trauma sensitive mindfulness practise. I'm looking for somewhere green and open people to share with. Ideally, I'd like to share living together and not just space, but I'm flexible. I enjoy community living and being friends with the people I live with.
Hi, I'm a super chill, clean, friendly individual who works as a psychologist and songwriter, loves going to the gym, is very social but sees the home as a place to retreat and is respectful of peoples down time. I currently have a few places around Eltham ready for the lease to be signed, I am just searching for the right housemate to join me :) If this sounds like you, please hit me up!
Im easy going, friendly. I clean up after myself and enjoy a chat
