Hey friends! Luke and I are looking for a friendly rental or team up. We’re a down to earth duo with a nice mix of chill, cleanliness and respect. Both of us have a good sense of humour, like to cook, play guitar, game and do artsy stuff at home. Luke is a student and works in hospitality and Jess works in media. We love animals and if you’ve got a garden we’d be delighted to help out. We also have a friendly adult cat. We’re looking at paying around $120-$200 for the both of us. Central ‘burbs would be great but open to suggestions. Thanks for reading! Get in touch if you think we'd vibe well together
Hi there! I'm Ryan, a 26-year-old Melburnian moving westward to complete a Master of Archaeology and Heritage Management at Flinders University in 2018 after graduating from a Master of Arts and Cultural Management and BA at the University of Melbourne, alongside work in the creative industries, communications and higher education. I suppose with that you could say I'm an avid learner, but I'll also admit to being a friendly, helpful and fairly capable person. Considering I won't be moving over to Adelaide until the latter half of February 2018, I guess I'm also a bit anal as well — apologies if my premature profile leads to any false starts! I'm certainly happy to assist in any way I can around the house and be as quiet or sociable as necessary and appropriate, as well as always being tidy and courteous. Having travelled, worked with and become friends with people from plenty of places, I'm of course tolerant and accepting of everyone and would hope the feeling is mutual. Being quite the culture vulture, you'll likely spot me studying, reading or exploring Adelaide's arts and culture in my down time. As you can see, I've listed a handful of suburbs, but anywhere within a reasonable distance from Flinders University's Bedford Park campus works well. Feel free to be in touch to ask any questions or provide any advice!
We have rented this brand new house through Harcourts agency at the beginning of November with the intention of gradually furnishing it before physically moving in. However due to unexpected change of circumstances we have to move out in February. We are therefore giving agency a helping hand with finding new tenants to this clean home, hoping to save some bucks on inevitable re-letting fees. There is even brand new good quality furniture available for sale if you would like to save yourself from the hassle of looking around. We need to get rid of everything by the end of Jan. The house has three good size bedrooms, master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. There is a separate large bathroom with shower and bath, garage, kitchen with Bosch dishwasher, gas stovetop and an oven. All the kitchen cabinets have been immaculately cleaned. There is a nice little lawn in the backyard with plenty of sky to watch ! The area is very nice and quiet, just round the corner from Marion open air swimming pool and 10 minutes walk to local Coles. You have to view it to fully appreciate it. Please feel free to message us to arrange a suitable time for viewing. Available in February The rent is 430 a week Bond is 2580 Lease time is 12 months Contract with Harcourts agency Location is Cungena Ave, Park Holme Thanks Patrick and Minoo
Quiet area in duplex, single storey. Central heating and cooling. Instant gas hot water system. Share cost of gas, water, electricity and internet. Well maintained unit with the current tenants enjoying their shared space. Nice back yard space for gatherings. 10 Mins to Glenelg, 5 mins to Marion, 10 mins to Flinders Uni. Small room with built in wardrobes, plenty of living space to share. Double bed available if needed.
I'm fairly quiet, I can cook simple healthy meals, and my cats are very friendly ! They're both outdoor cats so they won't need an indoor litterbox, and I'm happy to keep their food bowls in my room. I work casually in Glenelg and take art commissions, and in my free time I cosplay. I enjoy scifi, fantasy, and musical theatre !
This two-bedroom townhouse has been lovingly updated, with new fixtures and fittings in the bathroom and kitchen, fresh paint and clean flooring. Located just off Daws Road, public transport is easily accessible; with train lines and bus stops located a short walk from the unit. A short travel to flinders uni, Marion shopping center, castle plaza and an array of other enmities makes this unit a great fit for young adults who are studying, or can’t afford CBD living. Parking is typically on the street; however off-street parking may be negotiated amongst other strata members. Internet is included in the rent price, however all bills will be split 50 50 between tenants.
Recently moved to Adelaide and looking for a place to call home. Not into clubbing every night or crazy drug parties. I enjoy house parties and movie nights. The only drink I enjoy is water. Non smoker and clean guy from Mumbai, India.
I'm friendly, courteous, and respectful of my fellow housemates. I'm quiet, but will always say hi and socialise when suitable. I do enjoy going to the movies and gym a couple of times a week.
Hey! My name is Catherine. I'm 21 and have just recently finished my undergrad in science, specialising in animal behaviour. I'm planning on taking the next 7 months off to work before beginning my honours year in July. Apart from studying and working, I also volunteer so I am pretty busy. I like to spend my free time cooking, spending time at the beach, with friends or bingeing Netflix. I've spent the last two years renting my own place and previously lived on campus at Flinders. I am quiet, tidy and respectful.
Hi! Alicia and Jess here! We are looking for someone around the same age, with similar values, to join us in a new lease for a rental property in early Jan with most furniture brought with us. I Alicia, work full-time Monday to Friday, pretty chilled during the weeks out for dinner, at my girlfriends, or at home cooking vegetarian food with her, love to cook my dinners most nights. I come with a gorgeous tiny cat Meila, very well house trained and super super friendly and loving to anyone, cant live with other animals. Jess here, also work full-time, love to go out to dinners with friends, being active and healthy and enjoy a good chat over a glass of wine, from time to time. We both love being outdoors, music, beach, not party people, prefer some chilled ones at home in the summer. We are neat and tidy people, and think it is very important to live with someone that is the same. We are both pretty happy and cheery, enjoy chilling with our housemates and cooking. Living with someone considerate and friendly is very important. It's important to live in a happy home, where we can feel comfortable with the other person. Hope to hear from you :)
I’m a student studying to be a personal trainer. Working at a cafe about 20 hours a week. I am a positive, energetic person. Very organised, clean and happy to share any house duties.
I am moving to Adelaide in 2018 to study medicine at Flinders University, and looking for a place to stay. I am a first-time renter, moving from Melbourne. I'm friendly, easygoing and social, but prefer to chill out and do my own thing most of the time, preferring my privacy. I'll most likely be working part-time on weekends, and studying full time during the week. I'm looking for a relaxed place to stay, with likeminded housemates, either studying or working, who do their own thing, but still happy to hang out. I'd prefer a non-smoking household.
Hi, Josephine here, I am from India -Mumbai, and planning to move to Australia in Feb 2018. I am joining flinders in Feb 2018 for my masters in biomedical engineering. Looking forward for a good place to move in near to flinders university.I am a happy goal loving person. I love to hang out places and to cook.
I am a current 23yr old female uni student and also work part-time. Down to earth and easy to get along with. Like my own space but don't mind to socialize a bit either, I like a clean house but I'm not OCD about it and I'm pretty quiet and mature. I respect others space and property as I expect the same in return. I'm happy to provide more info about myself via private message. ☺
I am a super clean and tidy person with two amazing, adult house-trained cats. I am quiet, work weird hours, and will probably spend most of my time crocheting and watching sci-fi. I've been a student for six years, and am taking some time off from study since completing my Masters in 2017.
*SHORT LEASE - ENDS 13TH JAN* This property is perfectly located, being only a 5 minute walk to the train, 10 minute drive to Marion Shopping Centre and close to flinders university too. The property is fully furnished including a smart TV and outdoor Spa, with unlimited NBN available. The room available is the master bedroom with loads of space in built in wardrobes and a double bed.
The house is situated in Ascot Park in a small group of 3 units. It's only a few minutes walk to bus stops, train stops and shops, including coles and foodland, and less than a 15 minute bus ride to the city, bay or Marion shopping centre . The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. lovely sized backyard for entertaining with a small shed for extra storage. The room is currently unfurnished. The bedroom would quiet easily fit a double bed and has floor to ceiling wardrobes installed. Rent is $125 per week, paid fortnightly. Bills, including internet (if wanted), will be split evenly.
I live a pretty busy lifestyle but I'm always up for adventures! I'm easy going and friendly but I like me-time. I'm a Speech Pathology student studying at Flinders uni. I have my own car. I also have a dog that I would love to live with me (he's excellent with animals, big and tiny humans, house trained with a sweet and cuddly nature) but I realise I may have to leave him at my parents!
Hi there! We're pretty laid back to live with. We both enjoy gaming, a bit of netflix on lazy days and getting out to explore the city when the weathers nice. Bron is currently building a house and it's had some delays so it's all not lining up too well with her current lease. We are looking for somewhere somewhat short term. We can move in fairly soon, and currently would be looking to move out around march, assuming no more major building delays. We are both tidy people and are more than happy doing our fair share around the house, and we are looking for like minded people to live with. We don't need a furnished room as we have everything already, but if the room would be mostly furnished and it would be a pain to move we do have a storage unit too so wouldn't be a huge fuss to throw a few more things in there. I (Chris) currently work in mining on a 2:1 week roster so I'll only be around every third week until mid January when I will be starting a university degree in paramedic science. Bron works full time in the city as a dental assistant. If you have any further questions then feel free to send a message or give us a call, happy to clarify anything you need.
Hi! I'm Ethan, I am 18 going on 19 in a month and I have been living in Adelaide for the past year. I really enjoy volunteering and i can be regularly found at my local Vinnies helping out in the kitchen (basic kitchen hand duties so you know i'll be helpful in the food space!). At the same time as volunteering i am also an active job seeker as i value paid work as well! I believe it is important to give back to the community, especially when you are in a position to do so. I also enjoy reading and writing stories, watching movies and gaming. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends when i can. I am looking for a place to call home. This might look like living with others around my age, not fussed on gender and am welcoming of all personalities. I am a pretty easy going guy and get along with everyone who is respectful and kind to others. Preferably a furnished room and am available to move ASAP. I look forward to hearing from you, Catchya! Ethan
I work full time (shift work), i'm a clean person, I cook, I hardly drink, but I watch a lot of movies (bit of a movie buff). Looking to share a house with some people which is closer to work for me. Looking for like minded easy going people
I was born and raised in NZ and have been living in Adelaide for about 8 years now, I am a part time dance teacher and performer, and a part time Animal care student. I love to have fun but also enjoy nights in and sometimes. I am very respectful of privacy, I love to cook (and eat) and am also a bit of a clean freak.
Studying at Finders. PhD and academic tutor. Female, tidy and considerate ect looking for something self contained with bill inclusions. I spend the first half of each year teaching and the second on my own research, for which I receive a modest scholarship salary. I have two dwarf rabbits which I'd prefer to take with me (hutched, outdoor) but they can stay with my fam if the place/price is ideal. Not big on socialising, hence looking for a granny flat or similar where I have adequate privacy to do my study.
