I'm a German biology PhD student coming to Canberra in March for a 12 months research stay at the ANU. I really like living with other people, so I'm looking for flatmates who aren't just sharing the house to keep the rent low. I'd love to also enjoy occasional meals or tea/wine/beer/your drink of choice together. I've been living with flatmates for nearly ten years now, so I know how to keep common areas clean and I respect when people need some time on their own. In my free time, I like learning languages, playing board and card games with friends, going to concerts and being out in nature/hiking. I'll have to leave my band in Berlin, so I'm excited to see which new hobby I might pick up in Canberra.
I'm a quiet, easygoing person. Will do my own cooking and clean up after myself. Don't have pets of my own but am pet friendly. Have lived with many pets before. Happy to have a chat over a cup of tea but equally as happy to keep to myself.
I am working as an APS at the Department of Finance. I love nature, watching artistic films and want to get back into reading. I am looking for walking distance to Forrest or a maximum of 20 minute drive to Forrest. I am very flexible and do not require a personal bathroom. Additionally, I am a neat and tidy person.
Just been offered a grad role in Canberra and looking for a roommate and place to live! From Sydney. A little about me: currently trying to learn my 4th language, spending more than I should on travelling as well as social outings. I'm a pretty clean and organised person who also likes my occasional solo down-time/Netflix. I like keeping somewhat active and also discovering new things.
Hi, I'm Jeremy a APS Graduate starting mid February. I'm outgoing, clean, and tidy. I'm looking for a roommate I can hang out with and have a drink with here and there. I would prefer a a place near the Parliamentary Triangle but am flexible on this point.
Moving up from Melbourne in early February, and looking to acquire a room relatively soon after arriving (definitely before the end of February!). I'm completely new to Canberra and know no-one there, so moving in with people who could help me settle in to Canberra or interested in exploring Canberra with me would be great! I love going out and being social but I equally enjoy staying at home and enjoying myself. I love snowboarding, video games, tinkering with everything and building gadgets. I'll be working full time, so I will not be home most weekdays during working hours, but otherwise I have a world of time to kill! If you're interested, feel free to shoot me a message.
I'm a nonbinary PhD student at ANU. I'm very clean and friendly, and usually up for a chat. I'm a very outdoorsy person and like to spend my weekends hiking or camping. Otherwise I spend a lot of time playing video games or reading to relax. I'm looking for a place close to ANU with chill and accepting housemates that I can hang out with but also have my own space.
I am a very motivated, curious, and friendly person. I love learning and getting things done efficiently. I'm a very level headed and easy-going person that loves having a laugh and hanging out. I am a Senior Analyst for a government department and currently living in Braddon, and keen to stay in this brilliant suburb. I am a great communicator and can get on with almost anyone (probably not lazy people) - I can cook very well (rubba dub dub, thanks for the grub) - I am a clean person (Thanks mum) - Very open and honest. - Love anything outdoors. - Love board games - Kind of person that likes to be social after a long day. Cooking together from time to time, having a drink, and just have a good ole yarn. Respectful of peoples space (come from a very large family and understand its importance) Ask me a question, or 10.
Hi, my partner and I recently moved to Canberra and am looking to rent a place-preferably unfurnished. I work full-time Mon-Friday. When not returning to Sydney to visit family i am as active as possible on weekends.
Hello! I am a consulting graduate and will be moving to Canberra for my Full Time job. I am a cheerful girl who enjoys binging on TV shows, going hiking and catching up with friends over brunch. I love animals and will not mind if you have one. I am a tidy girl and I like to keep things clean, especially communal areas.
I'm an indoor plant lover, crochet enthusiast, and avid song singer. I work in media and comms so I'm always up for a chat about what is making headlines. I'm a classic introvert so I like my space but am also usually up for coffee and conversation.
Hey there! I'm easy-going, friendly and not a bad cook. I just moved to Canberra from Sydney to work as a dietitian. I enjoy being outdoors, trying to learn the guitar, going out for a dance but also staying home to read/watch netflix. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people but am also respectful of people's personal space and time.
I'm a friendly, positive, laid back personality who respects others personal space. At the same time, I'm great company if you would like a chat. I love a good Netflix series but not really a fan of commercial tv. I love sport (more of a spectator these days) and don't mind watching it on the tv. I enjoy the odd bevvy, whether its after work or nibbles and drinks for a random and spontaneous celebration (just cos we can). I'm away from time to time, so there's the added advantage of having the place to yourself occasionally. I'm a fair and honest person and only expect the same in return. I like a clean, tidy house. When you use it put it back regime. Cook dinner, eat and then clean up. That kind of thing. Whilst I work in finance, I'm studying my Diploma in Beauty Therapy which I'll complete this June and yes I need someone to practice massages, facials etc on.
Hi! I'm a graduate in the legal services industry looking for a new place in Canberra. I'm pretty active so usually leave the house pretty early before going straight to work, so I'm mostly around in the evenings. In that time I really enjoy spending time in the kitchen cooking and socialising, although I definitely appreciate and respect the need for quiet time. I don't really do anything that could be accurately described as partying, but can definitely get around dinner parties or whatever is going down around the house. I really like a neat place and enjoy keeping things tidy, but otherwise try to be pretty easy going and supportive where possible of life commitments etc... If I sound like somebody you'd be interested to live with let me know, I'd be really interested to chat!
I'm a Geoscientist and Science Communicator. I love anything outdoors, especially SCUBA diving, cycling, snowboarding and hiking. Originally from Melbourne, but have moved around a fair bit through Australia and Asia for work. I'm tidy, open-minded and fun individual who's always up for an adventure, chat and/or a beer.
Originally from Sydney, I'm moving to Canberra to work full-time as an APS grad in early February. I love sewing, reading, going to the beach and playing outdoor soccer. I'm also looking forward to doing some of the hikes around Canberra. I'm looking for a room in a place where I can make friends and have fun with my room mates, but also have a place to relax. Ideally I'd like to live with others who work full time. I have a boyfriend who works out of town but would come and visit once a month. One potentially very positive attribute of mine as a housemate is a tendency to clean when stressed! Also, my move in date is flexible up until the the last week of February.
Hi there, I'm Jay and recently moved to Canberra from Sydney to start up a grad position with the APS. Generally pretty relaxed and love doing outdoor activities particularly hiking, snowboarding and swimming, but also down for more chilled out things like playing video games, board games, having a drink etc. I also like to keep my place clean and tidy (Don't know why but I particularly love vacumming). Ideally looking for a private room in somewhat close proximity to Civic and/or Brindabella.
Hey! I'm a 26 year old APS grad who has just shifted from Melbourne and I'm looking for a place in inner Canberra. I've been in a sharehouse in Melbourne for the last four years and enjoy sharing a chat, meal or cheeky drink with other housemates. That said, I'm also pretty clean and respectful of others' space.

I am looking to move into a house/apartment in Canberra in February 2019 - either in the inner north or inner south of Canberra. I am a friendly, outgoing individual who enjoys making friends, going out to bars and having adventures. I am a clean person, who is easy to talk to and get along with. I'm easy going, full time Marketing Manager working in the innovation environment. Love cooking and sharing a good meal over wine. Respectful of others space as I like for others to respect mine. I can't stand bad odors so I keep the place pretty clean, without exaggerating. Looking for someone with values, non smoker (sorry I'm allergic), no drugs (sorry I hate them). Who is relaxed and social thus can have fun in a healthy way.
I'm friendly, tidy and easy going. I moved here from W.A a few months ago and Canberra has really surprised me and grown on me! I have lived with plenty of house mates before. I am happy to chill out with a tea on my own or have a chat over a couple of drinks/meal. Im 26, work full-time in the city and I love pets if you have them! Looking for a room to rent and am fairly flexible.
I am respectful, understanding, friendly person who is quite social and open minded to different cultures and backgrounds. I like to have a chat and make dinners with friends/house mates if they like that sort of thing! Happy to help out with what ever I can! I’m tidy and respect other people’s privacy and areas.
