This excellent property is situated in prime location within the parliamentary triangle. Close to all amenities and Manuka village. One minute walk to bus stop, less than 4 km to Civic (Canberra city centre) and Australian National University.
The house is pretty amazing, it feels like it's come off a set of Mad Men, it's a stupidly cool place to live. The house is fully furnished, has cork floors throughout, floor to ceiling windows around the whole back of the house that opens onto an entertaining deck and backyard, the house is filled with light and has beautiful timber panelling throughout. All bedrooms are all queen size, the bedroom has a bed and built in wardrobe, there is one room available it is the only room at this end of the house near loungeroom, it has a built-in cupboard with shelves and a cupboard outside room for hanging clothes also available, it overlooks back deck and the backyard. Room Available Mid March. We have 2 girl & 1 boys aged in mid 20's, and me in my early 40's I own a cafe in the city, we are looking for another housemate, we enjoy each others company, eat occasionally together, giggle a lot and respect each other's space. Our household is a fun one! There is also a baby in the household 12 weeks in Mid Feb, so you would need to be ok living with a small child (baby doesn't cry, very rare)
Originally from Melbourne, I'm moving to Canberra for my Masters at ANU. I pride myself on being clean and tidy. In addition, I am quite independent and like my privacy but I'm up for social activities. While I can drive, I do not have a car (easy parking for you!) and this would Luke to live somewhere easily accessible to ANU and Questacon. My interests include outdoor adventures (especially hiking), dancing, boardgames and sketching/painting. If I sound like your next roommate, please don't hesitate to contact me!
Hello Potential Housemate :) My name is Sifna and I have just moved to Canberra from Melbourne to take up a job with the APS. I am currently 24 years old, neat, tidy and respectful of other people. Ive lived in share houses since young so i understand privacy and respect but also enjoy a bit of socialisation to make the house into bit more of a home for everybody. Im very easy going. I wont be able to look at the house until the 7th but after that whatever works best for you? My friend also looking for a place. So if you have two bedrooms with separate bathrooms. Please message me as well.
Recently moved up to Canberra for work and looking for a place close to the city. I'm friendly, outgoing and really enjoy an evening vino (or tea) and looking forward to exploring all Canberra has to offer, especially the eateries! A little about me, I'm quite laid back, clean and tidy and spent the majority of the last 2 years overseas and sharing tiny spaces so have learnt a great deal about the art of house sharing. I'm an avid movie buff who enjoys a variety of different genres and attempt to spend most Sunday night's during Formula1 season watching the races. Makes for a difficult monday but mostly worth it! If you would like to find out anything more please feel free to get in touch!
Hi! I’m new to Canberra, I’ve just moved from Sydney. I love dogs and good food, and am easy going. I don’t mind a chat, movie or a glass of wine, but respect and appreciate people’s privacy and my own space too! Would love to move into a place asap. I’m currently working in the parliamentary triangle on an interim position until the end of April!

Hi Friends :) About me: I'm 27, originally from Melbourne, and a friendly, outgoing and respectful housemate. I'm clean and tidy, and I've lived in sharehouses for a while now (so I know the drill). I work full time and recently moved back o Canberra to take up a job as a government lawyer. I'm a confessed law nerd but I also love reading/talking about pretty much any topic. I also enjoy spending my time discovering great hip hop music, and going to hip hop dance classes.
I'm a down to earth, easy going Melburnian living in the nation's capital. I work full time for an industry peak body in the ACT. I grew up in Melbourne and China and have travelled quite a bit. I studied philosophy and political science. I'm up for a chat on virtually any topic, I'm keenly interested in American Politics as most everyone is these days. I am a respectful, tidy, and understanding individual, who loves to cook, read and travel..the list goes on. I appreciate the boundaries of a share house and I will not overstep them. I enjoy going out for good meals, catching up with friends, but I'm equally happy to relax at home after a long day. I'm looking for a place to share or to join an existing share house.
Hi all, Social and considerate 32 y/o with plenty of share housing experience. I don’t smoke, work full time in a science roll for the public service and throw a bit of study in occasionally. In my spare time I enjoy catching up with friends, cooking good food for myself and others, travel, movies, playing sport(professional social sport ring in) and running trails. Looking to move somewhere from January-February but very flexible
Greetings, I am a recent graduate relocating for work. I have an 'easy going' demeanour and would prefer an arrangement lasting a six month period whilst still maintaining the option to extend.
Liv is a lawyer, and Georgia is a Union official, and we are quiet, clean and friendly - always happy to share a wine or do our own thing. We come with two small pugs, Zali and Ned, who are friendly, cuddly and come with excellent references!
Hi! I'm a 23 year old female from Perth, Australia. I have a full-time graduate position with the APS. I am a fairly sociable, chatty person. I enjoy getting outdoors but also chilling out -- reading and watching netflix. I love brunching (classic Australian millennial) and good coffee. I am very tidy and will always clean up after myself, particularly in the kitchen. I have my own car so I will need somewhere to park it, preferably somewhere under cover.
I'm moving to Canberra from Sydney in Feb (for a grad job). I'm open to sub-letting or signing a lease (happy to work out the best option with the right housemate). I'm tidy, fun-loving (but responsible) and friendly. I work hard, and travel to Sydney, so may not always be around, but will always be tidy and respectful of our space. I'm social and active and love exploring both cities and nature (will always bring baked goods on adventures!). I come with Harvey, my little house trained bunny (hear me out!). He's like a tiny dog, without the barking or big poos! He lives inside (VERY clean), and follows me around the house to play/for company, but can easily live outside! He’s grey with floppy ears. Accepting him would mean the world to me (happy to pay a little more too). If you think we could be part of your home, we'd love to say hello!!!
Flexible move date, but before 23rd Feb. Also flexible with length of stay. I'm a relaxed housemate who likes a chat at the end of the day but also respects everyone's need for space. I love cooking meals and baking treats, and heading to markets on the weekend to get produce for the week. I work five days a week with the Commonwealth so like to chill out on weekends, either catching up with friends or exploring, or going for walks/hikes. I've just moved to Canberra from Brisbane, where I lived for five years. I'm interested in living in the suburbs surrounding the suburbs I've listed too, depending on the place and price for the the room. My ideal room/house situation would include space for me to store some of my things - either in my room or a lock up garage etc. Please feel free to message me with any questions :)
I'm about to start working full time in heritage. I've just left a great share house with my friends in Canberra thinking I was moving to another city, but landed a job here! Love living with other people, and I'm up for having a chat and some wine with my housemates. I keep my place tidy and am easy going. I'm looking for a cool place for six months before I'm off to Glasgow for a Masters.
Easy going, clean and tidy. I am from Melbourne and I have moved to Canberra last month for a full time position in IT. I am normally in Canberra on weekdays and return to Melbourne on the weekends.Besides when I am not working, I like spending time at the gym, watching TV, listening to music, cooking and studies.
