We are looking to rent out a room in a large and social 5 bedroom house in Strathmore, at $140 a week excluding bills. The house is privately leased so a bond is not required. Huge Room for rent in a huge house, with great housemates and a great location. A large bedroom has become vacant and my housemate and I are looking for someone to move in. The house is a high-quality dwelling which is fully furnished and is complete with large backyard and double garage. My housemate and I are both fun-loving social people, who live active lifestyles and enjoy meeting new people. The room is an absolute BARGAIN.
The house: you'll be living in is a kitschy 60s house with a lot of personality. From the green kitchen cupboards to the original patterned tiles it's quite a gem. It's a decent sized kitchen/dining room that goes straight out to the large backyard with carport which is great for having a few friends around for a BBQ. This 3 bedroom house has a bath, seperate shower and toilet. The main bedroom of the house is on offer! With two double robes with a mirror/vanity in the middle you'll be able to store a lot in just your room! Pretty much the biggest room in the house, you have a large south facing window which brings in so much light, and it has easily fit my queen bed. Unfortunately no pets! The area: this house is placed in an amazing spot. Right off Pascoe Vale Road it's a 2 minute drive to Citylink, a short drive to Moonee Ponds Central (Coles, Aldi, Kmart etc), and a 3 block walk to Glenbervie train station so wherever you need to go it's easy to get anywhere! Only 4 blocks to a tram and only a few blocks further to the Moonee Ponds junction. Only 8km from the city, its also a short drive (straight down Moreland Road) to Sydney road! Very good for a busy person. Move in date is anytime after January 5th, as that's when I move out. I'd prefer to have all the paperwork done before then so it's an easy transition :)
Cute and cosy share house positioned at the rear of block ensure quiet and private environment. Heating throughout with Air conditioner in living area. LED down lights throughout ensure energy costs stay low. Fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher. Small private yard including clothes line and veggie garden. Located 5 minutes walk from Pascoe Vale Station and very close to local bus routes. Close to cafes, eateries and local grocers.
2 x rooms for rent. i currently have 2 x rooms to rent in pascoe vale. you would be going on the lease so bond is needed. BUT! its really close to coles, the city and the station. they each have built in robes and there is a big bathroom. plus, balcony hangs. its $560/month + bills (which are pretty much non-existent) netflix and unlimited internet for all your streaming needs. looking for people who are chill, wont have a panic attack if the house is not pristine and are reliable. i can either be really social or a hermit so i need people who can deal with that hit me up if youre interested. i have attached some generic real estate photos of the house too.
We have a really nice three bedroom house fully furnished (not including the room). The house is a little old but has a new bathroom and has been painted only last year. The house has a wall heater and two air-conditioning units. As its an older house the bedrooms are larger. It's a 10min walk to Coburg Sation. Lots of on street parking and its a nice little area close to the city. We also have a new coles only 10mins walk away. We have a large backyard with an outdoor table and a BBQ. We also have cable internet with great speed.
THE SUN SETS BETTER IN BRUNNY WEST We have a room up for grabs in our West Brunswick house, situated just off Melville road, a 10 minute walk to the 55 tram, 25 minute walk to Anstey station and the 503 bus practically right outside the door. The room up for grabs is a single room (unfurnished)which comes with a wardrobe (optional). The room is snug but large enough for a queen bed with some space to spare. Rent is $587 per calendar month + bills and internet split three ways (internet is $25 a month). The house is small, cosy, fully furnished and has a great outdoor area and backyard. You would be living with two other house mates (Nick and Maddie), who work during the week and some weekends. Ideally you would enjoy having music on around the house, enjoy sinking some beers in the sunny afternoon and don’t mind having a soiree every now and then. We like to keep a nice, tidy house so cleanliness is preferred. But we aren’t too fussed when a bit of debauchery strikes us.
Room 1 (downstairs): $200 a week. Bond $800. Room 2 (upstairs): $220 a week. Bond $880. The house: Awesome five bedroom, two storey, modern house on a quiet street. Very clean and well-kept. Plenty of free, on-street parking - no permit required. The spaces that are available are a downstairs and an upstairs bedroom inside the main house. Enough room for a Queen/King bed, desk, etc. There is an extensive built-in robe as well as shelving in each room. The upstairs room is larger with more wardrobe space. There are four bedrooms inside the house - two downstairs and two upstairs. There are two bathrooms inside the house - one upstairs and one downstairs (only share with one other person). Downstairs there is a large claw foot bath and upstairs there is a spa bath. There is also a converted apartment out the back (fifth person). The house is very comfortable, very large, fully-furnished (except bedrooms) with great furniture and top notch kitchen appliances, including microwave, double dishwasher, smeg oven and all other kitchen needs. There is a giant walk-in pantry, two fridges, two large living rooms with two large TVs, a laundry with new washer and dryer, ducted central heating and cooling. The bedrooms are not furnished. There is one near-new Queen bed and a desk available if needed. We have a great entertaining area on the patio and the back yard has tasty a edible garden and lovely lawn that is nice for lying in the sun in summer. Lots of storage space in and under the house. Current tenants: There are four bedrooms in the main house (two downstairs and two upstairs) and two bathrooms. At the moment two girls live upstairs - a female journalist, 28, and a teacher who is moving out to travel the world. And two girls live downstairs - a prison guard, 28, and a travel agent, who is moving out. In the apartment is a 31-year-old Brazillian guy who works in advertising. We are looking for a nice, fun, easy going, respectful, clean housemate. Preferably someone about 27-32 who is a young professional like us. We're a creative group of people looking for two like-minded people to complete our household. We are looking for someone wants to stay for at least 12 months. We are looking for someone with a full set of adult skills, such as initiative to take the bins out, mow the lawn, help out, pay bills/rent on time, etc. 100 per cent non smoking, even outside. No new pets (although we do have a stray cat that has decided to forcibly join our household). Lifestyle: We've strived to create a warm, comfortable, calm, happy house that is a nice respite from busy life. While we're all very socially active, this is not a party house. We tend to do our partying outside the house. All housemates are more than welcome to have friends, partners, lovers, one night stands over as much as they want (no one is going to make you pay extra if they shower at the house or anything like that). We work hard and when we get home we run the heater, use the tumble dryer and turn the lights on (life's too short to sit around in the cold and dark). Some of us work shift work so need to be able to tolerate people getting home/using the kitchen/bathrooms early in the morning and late at night. RACISM, SEXISM AND HOMOPHOBIA NOT TOLERATED. Bills: We have a cleaner that comes every fortnight ($20 each per fortnight). We have unlimited internet ($18 each a month). We split all utility bills equally between all five tenants (about $100 a month each at the highest). Transport: Plenty of free street parking, no time limits, no permit needed. The tram stop is at the end of the street at Jacob's Reserve park. Tram number 55, stop 38, runs along the end of the street into the city and leaves regularly. It takes 10 minutes on the tram to get to Melbourne Uni. Quick drive and good parking at either Anstey or Jewel train stations. Very close to City Link - 10 minute drive into the city off-peak. 15 minute walk or three minute taxi to Sydney Rd. Sweeteners - There will be a real, 10ft Christmas tree at Christmas! For details contact Alex

Hey guys! My names Brody and I'm a design student from NSW and currently work as a Barista. I'm hoping to have a place organised by early December so I can make the move down to Melbourne when my current lease ends on the 19th of December. Once I'm down, I hope to just have most of my stuff moved in and then I'll be heading back up to Newcastle to visit the fam for Christmas. A bit about me! I'm obsessed with design, architecture, streetwear and graphic design. I love my music, Yeezy and all things rap but I'm drawn to anything that takes my fancy as well. My Spotify and Triple J is what you'll hear if you ever take a ride in my car, be prepared for a rap battle. I'm a bit of a stereotype, I know. I love spicy food, eating out when I can and going for a few bevs. Also don't mind a couple beers at home and kicking back - bit of Netflix, it's all good. I'm always keen to socialise and meet new people but also like to have my alone time like everyone. I've lived with in share houses and on campus at uni (fear not - I'm not a mad party animal) so I know how important it is to be respectful of others property and privacy but always keen to have fun! I'm tidy, clean up after myself and whatnot. I also love the footy. So if you like what you see, hit me up with a message and we can go from there. Cheers guys!
Hey, I'm Holly, 20, and working part time in Hospitality, I am looking for a new place to live at the beginning of next year. I am fairly tidy and am happy to help out wherever possible. I work in airport west and as it is hospitality i am usually home during the day and working night. I am not looking for a certain "type" of household. Don't mind if you keep to yourself or want to spend time with everyone/each other. A bit more about me, i love food and coffee so breakfast is the greatest time of the day. I enjoy the occasional night out but it's not a regular thing with me as i usually am working weekends. I love animals so if you have any that is amazing! I'm not sure what else to tell you but if there is anything else you want to know, just send me a message :)
Future housies, I'm 33 and work with local council in Arts and Youth/Disability programs as well as being a freelance sound engineer and musician. I'm very clean, friendly and relaxed, reliable and environmentally conscious. I have various household items that might be of use such as a mower, trimmer, garden tools, dryer, Dyson vac, various kitchen items and good cookware, a few bits of furniture etc. In addition to my cringeworthy 90s CD collection, I can also fit you out with the use of a stereo! Depending of on what you have already, much of my stuff can be just boxed up and stored if not needed. I'm looking to move on the 20th or 21st of Nov, so please don't hesitate to give message or call! Kind regards, Duncan
We are a reasonably quiet but friendly 26 year old couple who will both be studying and working part time in 2017. We are looking for a homely environment, not a party house, and preferably close (<15min walk) to transport. We enjoy cooking healthy food, keeping healthy, watching a good movie, going on the odd adventure, and will occasionally be away on weekends in the country with family. We also love dogs and are open to sharing our love with a housemates dog!
Hi, I am a full-time professional searching for a private space that can include either a whole apartment, a studio or shared space with my own bathroom in the areas listed. I prefer to live with a female in a quiet space. I am mature and have a pet dog, basset hound, completely lazy, pretty much sleeps all day and everyone that meets him loves him. I am quiet and private but friendly and have a routine that keeps me quite active. I work in the non-profit sector as recently finished studying graduate law.
we are both tidy we are loud tenants we don't argue we respect the privacy of others we rent on time we are hardly home on weekends as we like to see bands and socialise we require a room that is no more than $280 bond
Work for Aust Post and also manage a DJ which keeps me busy so yes I like electronic music! Clean, neat and tidy and spend some time oversea's and interstate so want a quiet place to come home to. I have a car, no pets but love cats and dogs. AFL fanatic as well as a long suffering Tiger supporter. Move date is flexible and will wait until I find the right fit as I want a long term arrangement. I have my own furniture so unfurnished is preferred with own bathroom. I would like long term with flexibility. My current share has been over 6yrs, the one before that was also 6, I'd prefer an owner occupier as I don't really like to move a lot and want something semi permanent.
I am great to live with because... I will only be home after 5pm on weekdays and working on weekends and I enjoy keeping my space lovely and doing my part to keep the home functioning. My friends describe me as very mature for my age, kind, considerate and very easy to get along with. Looking to live in a calm home with some beautiful people.
Hey! I'm 24 years old and recently completed my university degree. I have obtained a full-time job beginning in 2017. I currently reside in Bendigo and am looking to move down to Melbourne to a location that is relatively close to where I'll be working. I'm looking to find a housemate/s or a place to move into early January before I start. I am easy-going, sociable, very easy to get along with and looking to move in with someone who shares similar interests. When I'm not working I enjoy a variety of sports, watching movies, socializing but I also enjoy my downtime. Look forward to hearing from you!
Just an easy going 20 year old bloke, working full time and looking for somewhere a little closer to work. I'm friendly and sociable and enjoy the company of friends. Also interested in sports, very respectful and clean :)
This comfortable unit located in Raleigh st, Essendon right across the Essendon football club/Windy hill fitness club. You will get your own room which has a/c and heating system and the bathroom - and the whole apartment to share in general. There's underground car parking also outside of the apartment. Tram stop (tram line 59) is right across the road and about 1-2 minute walking distance to the Essendon train station. This place is great as it's extremely convenient and it's secured, not every can enter the building unless they have the touch on security card so the safety is definitely there and there's a big balcony with a good view where you can chill with a drink or read or even just to relax. Moreover, the Windy Hill fitness club is right across and there's access to gym facilities also aquatic facilities and you can become a member just for $11.However, you aren't allowed to bring any outsiders to the apartment whatsoever and make sure you keep the place clean and neat all the time.
Hi My name is Rebecca and I am looking for a home to move to ASAP. Ideally I would like a large room with BIR/wardrobes that can fit more than my queen bed :D. I was living with my best friend who moved overseas and have my own furniture so an unfurnished room would be ideal. I don't smoke and only drink occasionally at social events. I’m quiet but up for a chat or occassional movie. I'm clean and have lived in share houses both in Oz and overseas so am aware of the living standards in sharing/respecting spaces. I enjoy cooking and exploring events around Melbourne (Theatre buff :D). I'm looking for somewhere to call home and housemates to hopefully call friends :D Thanks heaps Rebecca (Reb)
I'm a friendly natured guy with a good sense of humour. Generally pretty quiet, although my levels are raised a couple of decibels during the the footy. Love my music and heading out to various concerts.
