I'm a relaxed and tidy individual; enjoy my space but also enjoy co-working, sharing meals or just hanging out. I sometimes like to go to gigs too. I have a Bachelor Degree in Music and play guitar and bass; I usually have a few musical projects on the go at any time. Sometimes I go busking in the CBD and play gigs with a band. I work part time as a bartender at the Melbourne Recital Centre and am halfway through a Psychology Post-Grad. I really enjoy gardening, reading, cooking and listening to music in my spare time when I'm not playing. I live a humble existence and am always open to learning new things. I'm keen to team up with people who are looking for a new house. Ideally we'd all be creatively swayed into different artistic disciplines so we can bounce ideas off each other. Looking for people who would be interested in getting involved in multi-disciplinary collaborative projects and who would want to keep the house as an evolving entity. I have a lil cat named Pepper who would ideally be moving with me. She's a nutter at times (mostly dinner times) but is super affectionate and independent.
Hi guys I'm 24 years old, business student from Finland. I'm easy going, very tidy person who loves to spend time with a good company. I'm looking for a share house with easy going, tidy people with a good sense of humour. I'm working most of the nights as a bartender in Brunswick so a place close by would be awesome. please don't hesitate to contact me, Cheers x
I'm a 32 year old Pilates instructor and lapsed graphic designer who has recently moved home to suffocating, small town Brisbane after a 3.5 year stint living in Hackney, London. I'm an easy going kinda gal into all the usual things such as art, music, travel, food, wine, dogs, hating Trump etc etc. I'm looking to find some easy going, like minded housemates who may turn into some great pals or at least acquaintances that know how to use a sponge. I'm also good with a sponge, can whip up a Pescatarian friendly meal, pet friendly (dog obsessed) very independent and happy to do my own thing but always up for a wine/beer/cuppa and a chat. Although I'll be new to Melbourne (half of Brisbane has moved there let's be honest) I do have some friends down there already so no babysitting is required but I would love to meet some new people through my housemates and potentially build some sweet new friendships. My wild party days are well and truly behind me (did they ever really exist?) but I do still love a good gathering of friendly folk. I'm also up for checking out all Melbourne has to offer so anything cultural (exhibitions, dance performances, gigs) op shopping and market visits I'll be down for and always happy to have company. I'm also excited to explore the rest of Victoria and have a functioning vehicle in order to make all the road trips happen, all the time *pending my cars ability to make it down to Melbourne in one piece. Although I'm still in Brisbane currently, I have functioning phone and internet if you'd like to organise a chat or a Facetime or the likes. I will also be down for a visit next Tuesday-Thursday (28th Feb - 2nd March) So happy to pop in for a visit then. Anyhoo if you'd like to know more please feel to get in touch. Looking forward to meeting my new Flatmates very soon! Luisa :)
Hi I'm Huw. Currently studying Primary School teaching at Uni while working part time. I'm neat and tidy, respectful and easy to get along with. I've lived in share houses for the past 6 years so I know the drill. I grew up in Essendon so looking for a place in Melbourne's north/northwest, for 12 months plus.
Girl geek / tech freak by day, occasional DJ by night. I am finding my independence in creative technical opportunities whist streaming through the many sights and cafes Melbourne has to offer. I am looking for chill people to live with who like pets and music, look after themselves and have a life outside of the house but also like to chill and share a drink. I don't smoke but I don't mind if you do, not fussed on what others eat or sexuality as its all relative, each to their own. Mutual respect is the way forward. Flexible with move dates, ideally early to mid March. Ideally looking for somewhere animal friendly where the people have a pet as I dont have any of my own and it keeps the good vibes going. Not a dealbreaker though. If you have a garden, that would be awesome. Again, not a deal breaker though. I am open to a sublet although 4- 6 months minimum is preferred.

Hey! I'm a 20 year old female looking for a place by the 20th of February. I am a bartender in Carlton so I will be gone most nights, and in the day I study a Diploma in Beauty Therapy. I am very easy going and love adventures :) Love to clean, I'll do it even when you don't want me to haha. If I'm not doing any of the above I'm kicking back watching a movie or having a drink or two :) Very excited to live with some new and cool people !
We are very friendly, reliable & sociable people! :) Currently on a working holiday and will be in Melbourne until September. We will both be working full time and are wanting somewhere secure, clean and accessible to call home. We are a respectable couple and we are not interested in staying in a halfway house or a party house, although we do like to have a socialable drink with our roomies. :) We enjoy cooking and socialising. At evenings we like to go to the gym or chill out, and enjoy a drink and or a movie at the weekends. We would be interested in staying with another couple or another female. We are Northern Irish and would prefer English speaking housemates! :) Feel free to send us a message with any rooms you may have available! We would be interested in seeing pics and meeting up! :)
PLEASE NOTE: I am looking for TWO rooms - a bedroom and an additional sunroom/study/studio/shed from which I could teach singing students 3 days a week. Please do not contact me if your place doesn't have this possibility! and PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME IF YOUR PLACE IS OUTSIDE OF MY LISTED AREAS. I am not interested. Read below for more details... My name is Becca, I’m 27, I’m from Tassie originally but been in Melbourne since Feb last year :) I work a few different jobs: I’m an artist (mostly musician but do a bunch of other kinds of arts too). I’m a self-employed voice coach, teaching technique for singing and speech (but mostly singing) 3 days a week. I work 1 day a week at Mork Chocolate Brewhouse in North Melbourne (from which I bring home tasty treats sometimes!), 2 nights a week at Open Studio in Northcote, am also currently applying for more/new jobs. I also model for life drawing classes and sometimes do other random odd jobs here and there. I’m looking for a home, not just a house; I am a busy person who does my own thing a lot and has a lot of projects I’m working on, so I’m not wanting to live out of each other’s pockets, but I also want to have a place where we hang a bit in the communal areas in the evenings and chat about our days or talk shit, cook and eat together now and then, hang out in the sun on good days and have a beer. In my current house there isn’t much of a good shared lounge area and everyone just kind of lives in their rooms all the time and I am craving a little bit more of a casual family vibe. I don’t smoke, I’ve never been late on rent or bills, I like to be energy usage conscious though not anally-so, I like to try to be good to the environment. I’m great at cleaning and I’m house-proud; I am happiest when my place is looking clean and beautiful, I like indoor plants, sunshine, fresh air, and putting up art :) I’m often singing but I’m told I’m good at it, I like to put on loud music and dance around the house when I’m home alone or if someone wants to dance with, but am also very capable of quieting the fuck down when people need to sleep/concentrate. I’m silly, playful, and affectionate, but also a proper grown up. Ideally I’m looking for a place which has a sunroom/study/spare room/office where I would be able to set up my desk and teach my voice students from. I teach about 3 days a week, 5 hours maximum, finishing by 8pm at the latest (a lot of the time a lot less/earlier). Totally keen to make said teaching room also a shared art room and useable by anyone else at times when I’m not teaching! Or happy to pay a little extra rent for the use of the extra room. I've put $230 per week as max budget but I am really hoping to get less than that. I'm currently paying $200/week.
I am from Ireland and have been living in sunbury for the last few years. Im renting at the minute but i am interested in shared housing. Im very clean and hardly ever home as i go to uni in the city and work evenings in hospitality. Im pretty chilled and have shared houses before with no issues.
I'm Emily, moving interstate for work. Friendly, considerate and clean. I'm quite independant but wouldn't mind to share dinner and a wine with the roomies :)
Former lecturer/academic, just moved home to Melbourne from Japan (where I used to do research) and the UK (even more research). I'm in the middle of a career change, starting full time literature studies at Melbourne soon and then planning to go on to teacher training. Most of the time I'm either out and about at classes or have my nose in a book ;) Decidedly introverted but equally enjoy some friendly banter. I'm vegan, but not preachy about it...and if you have animal friends in the house they will get free unlimited cuddles on demand forever! When not studying can be found experimenting with my 'culinary jazz,' cycling further than my friends say I can, contemplating awesome art, working on my own (less awesome) art, and engaging in various voluntary help-the-animals activities. Looking for somewhere safe, quiet, and orderly to settle, but with just enough eccentricity to keep life interesting :)
Fun, outgoing, clean and respectable Irish couple looking for a room/place to rent for the next few months! Ideally looking to live with another couple or another girl! :) We are both working & very reliable when it comes to paying rent on time!
Hey I'm Belinda, I'm a 26 year old Outdoor Education, Geography and PE teacher. I'm originally from rural North-eastern Victoria, but have been living and working overseas for the past 3 years. I have a full time teaching position at a school in the outer Northern suburbs for the year. My favourite things to do are playing sport, running, hanging out with friends, exploring the city, reading, gardening, travelling, snowboarding, beach visits and many activities outdoors- especially hiking and kayaking! I also enjoy a cheeky cider or two at the end of the week. I am a very experienced housemate; I am very clean and tidy, happy to help with household chores and know how to be respectful towards the people I live with. I also love to chat and hang out with my housemates, while also living independently and getting out and about during some evenings and on weekends. Look forward to hearing from you :)

Hey , I'm 24 from the UK looking for somewhere to live ASAP after probably leaving it a little too late. I have been living in Australia for 19 months now and my current visa currently expires in July , however I am expecting to extend this in the near future. I work full time for a butcher in Brunswick and get free meat every weekend which is always available to my housemates. I player football (soccer) on Saturdays so I am normally out of the house for the full day. I love all sports and spend a lot of time watching, talking and playing them. I don't mind a drink and also don't mind the whole "family" meal thing, however I completely get it if people want to be left alone. Cheers

Hi! My name is Vanessa and I'm looking for a housemate for my cute Brunswick Townhouse. Ultimately I'm looking for someone who is friendly and likes their house to be a home, along with the usual things like being responsible, tidy and clean and having some form of regular income. It's not a party house, but friends are always welcome. As you'll need to go on the lease this wouldn't be suited to travellers. ... The room is available now! There's great air conditioning, internet is fast and there's more than enough data to share, we never run out hehe yay. Your ensuite bedroom has a huge wardrobe which you'll see in the picture, the room is unfurnished so you're free to make it your own. There is a bus stop out the front that takes you across the city towards either Moonee Ponds or Northcote/Alphington and it is close to several bike paths (the upfield bike path and the Capital City Trail) & the tram 55 towards the City (melville rd) is 10 min walking distance
Hey everyone I'm moving back to NZ to finish studying so my room has become available. It is a large upstairs room with private balcony and en suite. You will be living with 2 Australian guys: Matt 21(in the profile photo) and Liam 23. Whoever moves into the room will need to buy ALL my stuff (most of the things in the house belong to me) it is everything you could possibly need to live comfortably in a new place: It includes: 2 beds, desks, couches, 55 inch tv, tables, washing machine, fridge and about 5 pages worth of other items. I would like around $1500 for everything ( the price is negotiable within reason) Its a beautiful house (more like a home) you enjoy walking into it at the end of the day. It's furnished so all you need to do is bring your suitcase and move in. It is a great spot only a 15 minute drive to the city, the train station is 2 streets away, Sydney Road is a 5 minute walk and Trams run frequently from up the road. This home double storey house which is bright and spacious, open plan living and dining, modern kitchen, including dishwasher and washing machine, the bedroom is large with its own walk in wardrobe and balcony, there are two very large bathrooms - one with a spa. Polished floorboards, 3 split systems a/c, courtyard/decking good for entertaining. The guys would like someone who likes to get out and about, laughter and a good sense of humor is definitely appreciated. Flatmates who enjoy spending time with each other, sharing occasional meals and dont mind having a few beers now and then would be great. They definitely respect your privacy as well! They are friendly and respective. they'd like to live with people who are similar, sociable and either work full time/part time or study - Bills are split 3 ways Feel free to have a chat
This Edwardian wooden home and luxuriant garden are an extremely pleasant space for comfortable urban living. The house is well insulated against extremes of weather and well provided with heaters and fans for each inhabited room and the garden provides fruit and vegetables all year round. The house is an unusual design, somewhat feminine in appeal I think. The back garden in particular is very shady for a cool summer outside space. Everything we need is here with space to add if you wish. Two gorgeous cats have lived here with my extended family for thirteen and nine years respectively, while I spent time alternatively each year here and in South India. The cats now share our space with myself and another woman. If this might very well suit you then please contact me, preferably by email first so I can answer any questions and for us to establish rapport, then if both positive, we need to arrange for you to visit. I live near the border between Brunswick and Coburg in Queen Street.
Hi, I am Simon. I live in my own place, that is spacious and quite. Wide Street, lots of parking. Close proximity to parks, schools, transport, bike track, and freeways. Really only considering renting out one of the rooms actually but could work something out if required. Full use of all rooms, i.e. lounge, study, sunroom, kitchen etc... Appliances, Laundry, washing, and dryer. Large backyard with veranda. Locked shed for storage and additional shed underneath is also available. You are welcome to choose a smaller room to save on costs; therefore, the price is not set in stone. I can furnish the room and/ or feel free to bring your own and fit out how you wish. I'm very cruisy and respectful and also clean so a similar personality might blend well. Any questions just ask away...
Double bedroom which fits a Queen bed and desk very easily, built in wardrobe with mirrors. Quiet neighbourhood, close to public transport, train across the road and a tram 5 min walk away. Close to shops and other shopping amenities. Room is unfurnished but we have a full kitchen/living, dining room and dishwasher for you to enjoy along with a washer and dryer in the laundry We also have Netflix, wifi internet and other gaming consoles. Secure lockup garage attached to townhouse.
Hi there! Looking to find the missing puzzle piece for our 3 bedroom townhouse. Location is within 1 minute walking distance to Pascoe Vale Train Station (Craigeburn line), which is only a 15-20 min ride into the CBD. The area/street I live in has come so far in the last 5 years and I love the little local cafes within walking distance, and the new massive supermarket centre that has just opened a short drive up the road (you could walk to it too if you felt particularly committed! haha). I love the house and particularly the main living areas. Very spacious with a real homey feel! :-) The bedroom available has doesn't have a BIR, but there is a nice free-standing robe (with full length mirror!) that is included. Also a single bed available if required, tho the room will fit a double comfortably or a queen if you really don't have too much other stuff! Who you're living with: Naiha: 23yo physio. She's super lovely, very clean, easy going, non-smoker, reliable and always up for a chat & a laugh. Works full time. (you would be sharing a bathroom with Naiha) Kate (Me!): I'm a single, professional 28yo. I'm outgoing, healthy, non-smoker, and avid movie & music lover! I do teach singing from the home on Monday evenings, but tends to not be heard in the bedroom areas. :-) I have a beautifully behaved 8yo dog, who goes by the name Tish. She is a shitzu x toy poodle, so does not shed and is perfectly fine for hay fever sufferers (like me!). She is also SUPER friendly. :-) I look forward to hearing from you! Furnished main areas

Plenty of free, on-street parking - no permit required. The spaces that are available are a downstairs bedroom in the main house and a converted modern two storey apartment behind main house. Bedroom 1 Enough room for a Queen/King bed, desk, etc. There is an extensive built-in robe as well as shelving in each room. The upstairs room is larger with more wardrobe space. There are four bedrooms inside the house - two downstairs and two upstairs. There are two bathrooms inside the house - one upstairs and one downstairs (only share with one other person). The house is very comfortable, very large, fully-furnished (except bedrooms) with great furniture and top notch kitchen appliances, including microwave, double dishwasher, smeg oven and all other kitchen needs. There is a giant walk-in pantry, two fridges, two large living rooms with two large TVs, a laundry with new washer and dryer, ducted central heating and cooling. The bedrooms are not furnished. There is one near-new Queen bed and a desk available if needed. We have a great entertaining area on the patio and the back yard has tasty a edible garden and lovely lawn that is nice for lying in the sun in summer. Lots of storage space in and under the house. Current tenants: There are four bedrooms in the main house (two downstairs and two upstairs) and two bathrooms. We are looking for a nice, fun, easy going, respectful, clean housemate. Preferably someone about 27-32 who is a young professional like us. We're a creative group of people looking for two like-minded people to complete our household. We are looking for someone wants to stay for at least 12 months. We are looking for someone with a full set of adult skills, such as initiative to take the bins out, mow the lawn, help out, pay bills/rent on time, etc. No tight arses. We use the heating and cooling, we split bills evenly (even if people go away), we buy three-ply toilet paper and eco friendly house products. 100 per cent non smoking, even outside. No new pets (We do have a stray cat that has decided to forcibly join our household, but she doesn't like other pets, and our pet-hating neighbours have complained to council about nearly every dog in the street). Lifestyle: We've strived to create a warm, comfortable, calm, happy house that is a nice respite from busy life. While we're all very socially active, this is not a party house. We tend to do our partying outside the house. All housemates are more than welcome to have friends, partners, lovers, one night stands over as much as they want (no one is going to make you pay extra if they shower at the house or anything like that). We work hard and when we get home we run the heater, use the tumble dryer and turn the lights on (life's too short to sit around in the cold and dark). Some of us work shift work so need to be able to tolerate people getting home/using the kitchen/bathrooms early in the morning and late at night. RACISM, SEXISM AND HOMOPHOBIA NOT TOLERATED. Bills: We have a cleaner that comes every fortnight ($20 each per fortnight). We have unlimited internet ($18 each a month). We split all utility bills equally between all five tenants (about $100 a month each at the highest). Transport: Plenty of free street parking, no time limits, no permit needed. The tram stop is at the end of the street at Jacob's Reserve park. Tram number 55, stop 38, runs along the end of the street into the city and leaves regularly. It takes 10 minutes on the tram to get to Melbourne Uni. Quick drive and good parking at either Anstey or Jewel train stations. Very close to City Link - 10 minute drive into the city off-peak. 15 minute walk or three minute taxi to Sydney Rd. Sweeteners - There will be a real, 10ft Christmas tree at Christmas! For details contact Alex

Hello, We are look for an easy going, clean, friendly person to join us in our house. We do not want any party people and must go on the lease. Must meals are spent together but necessarily a must. The house is a large older style building with loads of natural light and quite large common areas. The kitchen has all the normal amenities plus a dishwasher. Hi, I'm friendly and very easy going. I am currently working in the construction industry and usually work 5-6 days p/w. I live a pretty quiet lifestyle during the week as I train at the gym regularly and am awake quite early in the morning so I am looking for a fairly quiet home, but on weekends don't mind a drink or two. Hope to hear from you guys. Regards Adrian

Im a qualified landscaper and from melbourne. Im very social and quite easy to live with but like anyone i keep to myself at times. i love meeting new people and always make an effort to get along with everyone. I dont really like conflict and i believe compromising is the ticket to sharehouse success. I like to help anyone when i can so asking me for a favour is more than ok. I like to keep things neat and tidy but im no clean freak mopping floors every 30min. I like to keep busy so handyman jobs are my go to at home, especially outside. I enjoy Travelling, camping, skiing, anything sport related, keeping fit, hitting the local for a few drinks. Most importantly,
Hi! I am a friendly, energetic, clean-living person. I am from the country. I enjoy working out, exercising, going out, going to the movies, hanging out and having fun.
