My name is Kyal. I am 29 years old. Moved to Melbourne a year ago from Tasmania. Previous to that, I lived in Queensland where I served in the army. I now work as a kitchen manager in Coburg, so ideally I'd like to live near there. But am interested in other places. I don't drink, have no friends and as such, don't entertain. Don't do drugs, and am all around, considered "boring" (but am interested in making friends) I do work a lot, don't make much noise and live a minimalist lifestyle. I am very neat and tidy, I enjoy cleaning and it's part of my job. My hobbies are watching Netflix and karate. I do read a lot, and am often found listening to educational podcasts.
Single room in a great 3 bedroom townhouse in Pascoe Vale South near West Coburg. Very close to route 55 tram and Bell Street buses. Trains also nearby. Will be sharing the house with two others. Utility bills (electricity/gas/water) split equally between housemates. Unlimited internet access is included in the weekly rate. Plenty of unmetered street parking is also available. The room comes furnished (if desired) with single bed and bedside table and has a large built-in wardrobe. Available for inspection now. Please contact Matt if you would like to take a look.
PLEASE NOTE: I am looking for TWO rooms - a bedroom and an additional sunroom/study/studio/shed from which I could teach singing students 3 days a week. Please do not contact me if your place doesn't have this possibility! and PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME IF YOUR PLACE IS OUTSIDE OF MY LISTED AREAS. I am not interested. Read below for more details... My name is Becca, I’m 27, I’m from Tassie originally but been in Melbourne since Feb last year :) I work a few different jobs: I’m an artist (mostly musician but do a bunch of other kinds of arts too). I’m a self-employed voice coach, teaching technique for singing and speech (but mostly singing) 3 days a week. I work 1 day a week at Mork Chocolate Brewhouse in North Melbourne (from which I bring home tasty treats sometimes!), 2 nights a week at Open Studio in Northcote, am also currently applying for more/new jobs. I also model for life drawing classes and sometimes do other random odd jobs here and there. I’m looking for a home, not just a house; I am a busy person who does my own thing a lot and has a lot of projects I’m working on, so I’m not wanting to live out of each other’s pockets, but I also want to have a place where we hang a bit in the communal areas in the evenings and chat about our days or talk shit, cook and eat together now and then, hang out in the sun on good days and have a beer. In my current house there isn’t much of a good shared lounge area and everyone just kind of lives in their rooms all the time and I am craving a little bit more of a casual family vibe. I don’t smoke, I’ve never been late on rent or bills, I like to be energy usage conscious though not anally-so, I like to try to be good to the environment. I’m great at cleaning and I’m house-proud; I am happiest when my place is looking clean and beautiful, I like indoor plants, sunshine, fresh air, and putting up art :) I’m often singing but I’m told I’m good at it, I like to put on loud music and dance around the house when I’m home alone or if someone wants to dance with, but am also very capable of quieting the fuck down when people need to sleep/concentrate. I’m silly, playful, and affectionate, but also a proper grown up. Ideally I’m looking for a place which has a sunroom/study/spare room/office where I would be able to set up my desk and teach my voice students from. I teach about 3 days a week, 5 hours maximum, finishing by 8pm at the latest (a lot of the time a lot less/earlier). Totally keen to make said teaching room also a shared art room and useable by anyone else at times when I’m not teaching! Or happy to pay a little extra rent for the use of the extra room. I've put $240 per week as max budget but I am really hoping to get less than that. I'm currently paying $200/week.
Hi everyone! I'm a (nearly) 19 year old midwifery student currently studying part time at ACU in Melbourne, I work part time when I'm not at uni and I'm looking for a new share house around pascoe vale/coburg/oak park. I'm quite introverted but can get chatty when it's about a topic I'm interested in or feel comfortable around you, I enjoy my own space as I read & study a lot (yes, nerd). I'm a very neat & friendly person, I like to go out occasionally with friends and my boyfriend and will generally be gone about 2-4 days a week for work and to see family. If this sounds like someone you'd want to live with, please send me a message!

Aside from that, I pretty much get along with everyone :) I work full time Mon-Fri in the aviation industry, definitely looking for a house that is quiet on weeknights but not averse to an occasional couple of drinks on a Friday night. I'm looking for a place from approximately late February / early March to around July.

Lifestyle: We've strived to create a warm, comfortable, calm, happy house that is a nice respite from busy life. While we're all very socially active, this is not a party house. We tend to do our partying outside the house. All housemates are more than welcome to have friends, partners, lovers, one night stands over as much as they want (no one is going to make you pay extra if they shower at the house or anything like that). We work hard and when we get home we run the heater, use the tumble dryer and turn the lights on (life's too short to sit around in the cold and dark). Some of us work shift work so need to be able to tolerate people getting home/using the kitchen/bathrooms early in the morning and late at night. RACISM, SEXISM AND HOMOPHOBIA NOT TOLERATED. Bills: We have a cleaner that comes every fortnight ($20 each per fortnight). We have unlimited internet ($18 each a month). It has an open kitchen and living area that opens up onto a lovely courtyard and a separate dining/front room. There is a single car garage and plenty of street parking right out the front. It is nice and close to the number 55 tram and a short walk to the Upfield train line so is very easy to get into the city. There are also lots of bike paths nearby where you can ride to the city in 15-20 minutes. The bedroom we are renting out is a large room with a double built in wardrobe. Plenty of room for a queen bed and other furniture. It is currently furnished but if you have your own furniture we can take the bed out. Then we have a spare room / study for friends or family to stay in when they visit. Our bedroom has an ensuite so the other bathroom acts like an ensuite for the other bedroom. We are accepting couples for an increased weekly rate since the house is ready to live.
The house is conveniently located a 2min walk from the tram stop (route 55) with Anstey station (upfield line) a little further down (approx 15-20min walk). With an Italian restaurant just a few doors down and a IGA and cafes within 5min walk. The house is perfectly located. The bars and restaurants of Sydney Rd are just a $7 uber ride or 15-20 min walk. The entire house has ducted heating, while the kitchen/living has airconditioning. Looking to lease for a year with the view of extending if things go well. A bond of 2 weeks rent is required.
First, one of the best features about this house is the location. With only a short walk from the train station, tram stops, Supermarkets, great coffee shops and restaurants. The house itself has plenty of space so if you need or just feel the need for privacy there will be no dramas. You would also have your own spacious room that you can furnish as you like. Plus a private sitting office that you can use as you please. The house is fully air-conditioned, with a veranda over looking a massive backyard. As well as located on the the edge of the beautiful Woodlands park. We have two gorgeous animals that you will fall in love with (dog & cat). If you have any questions about the house or anything else dont be shy to ask.

I'm Malaysian born, based in Adelaide for the past 5 years. Relocating to Melbourne late January/ early Feb for work. I'm a super friendly, easy-going kinda girl. I'm tidy and respectful of other's privacy and personal space. I'm only looking for a furnished place with off-street parking. An ensuite would be a bonus! :)
I'm Shiori, I'm from Japan,19 years old. I'm studying English in Melbourne, I'm a clean, and tidy and quiet person. I want to improve my English. I like to dancing and running Thanks I need to find a new home today.
We are married couple from India. We are married for 2 years now. We are neat and tidy persons and respect others privacy. We are friendly easy going adaptive couple. Looking for a flat sharing.
A fun loving bloke, easy to get along with. Enjoy communal areas but also appreciate and respect everybody's personal space. Have been sharing houses for a while now and thoroughly enjoy the experience and would love to keep doing so after my current lease ends! Currently work full-time as a banker at NAB (38h/pw). My ideal place would be happy to have my girlfriend stay a couple of nights a week, and I would be happy to pay extra for that. Look forward to hearing from my future housemates.
Work for Aust Post and also manage a DJ which keeps me busy so yes I like electronic music! Clean, neat and tidy and spend some time oversea's and interstate so want a quiet place to come home to. I have a car, no pets but love cats and dogs. AFL fanatic as well as a long suffering Tiger supporter. Move date is flexible and will wait until I find the right fit as I want a long term arrangement. I have my own furniture so unfurnished is preferred with own bathroom. I would like long term with flexibility. My current share has been over 6yrs, the one before that was also 6, I'd prefer an owner occupier as I don't really like to move a lot and want something semi permanent.
I've lived in numerous share houses over the years, often moving each time I return from my overseas travels. I'm working full time at the airport, as well as studying this year too, and I have a number of extra curricular activities and hobbies to keep me busy. I'm a young and mature 36 year old, depending what the situation calls for :-) Prefer to live with independent flatmates who enjoy some shared social time, but who don't live in each other's pockets (I'm out a lot so home time is often my quiet time). Guys and girls are equally good to share with, although I don't want to have to babysit and / or clean up after anyone - everyone should do that for themselves and share the communal cleaning. I'm meticulous about paying my bills on time, and I've lived in houses where people share the cooking and houses where everyone cooks for themselves - I can do either, whatever works best for everyone. Looking for somewhere with people of a similar age bracket (late 20s to mid 30s), who can hold a conversation, maybe have some interesting stories, who clean up after themselves, and know the value of good energy / vibes when sharing a house!
Hi, I'm friendly and very easy going. I am currently working in the construction industry and usually work 5-6 days p/w. I live a pretty quiet lifestyle during the week as I train at the gym regularly and am awake quite early in the morning so I am looking for a fairly quiet home, but on weekends don't mind a drink or two. Hope to hear from you guys. Regards Adrian
This comfortable unit located in Raleigh st, Essendon right across the Essendon football club/Windy hill fitness club. You will get your own room which has a/c and heating system and the bathroom - and the whole apartment to share in general. There's underground car parking also outside of the apartment. Tram stop (tram line 59) is right across the road and about 1-2 minute walking distance to the Essendon train station. This place is great as it's extremely convenient and it's secured, not every can enter the building unless they have the touch on security card so the safety is definitely there and there's a big balcony with a good view where you can chill with a drink or read or even just to relax. Moreover, the Windy Hill fitness club is right across and there's access to gym facilities also aquatic facilities and just make sure you keep the place clean and neat all the time.

The room is a good size, comfortably able to fit a queen size bed and bedside tables. The room is only available until the 24th of Feb. Sydney road, great cafes, supermarkets and walking tracks are all located near by, as well as tram 55 and citylink making access to the city easy! Its a very easy going household, with the only rules being that fellow housemates are clean, tidy and respectful (this includes the ability to do your own dishes and not leave them for days haha); enjoy socialising with housemates, including having 'family' dinners when the chance arises (yay, food!) and able to be quiet as I have a great job that involves shift work (yay, shift work). 😊
Pretty easy going, love my sport and also dont mind the odd movie here and there. Wanting to move out so i can be closer to work. Id say im pretty easy to live with, i wont get in the way too much, but i also like a chat and the chance to hang out when it is possible.
HEY! My name is Diana, 22 years young and looking for a new home! I am currently away travelling in Asia but will be back mid February to start uni again! Still continuing my studies at Latrobe, I plan on obtaining a full time job prior to moving back to Melbourne. I have been out of home for about four years now so I understand what it is like to live with other people! I am clean and a very easy going person. I am always down for a chat so ideally I would like to be friends with my housemate/s rather than another person renting the room. However, in saying that, I do understand the means of personal space! I love to keep fit, so occasionally will go for walks, the gym (really I'm only there for boxing classes), going out with my girls and enjoy occasional shopping sprees. If you would like to find out more about me, I would love to hear from my future housies soon!
I'm tam, 23 years old! Working as a retail area manager so keep myself pretty busy. Big fan of sports, keeping active and being outdoors. Looking to find a place that is not only great but comes with a great roommate. Have been pretty lucky with my last housemate; always a big bonus to be friends with the people you live with
