I am originally from NZ and have lived in share houses in NZ, Melbourne, and London. I am very well house trained, but don't sweat the small stuff. Just looking to live somewhere that is kept relatively clean and tidy and that can be called a home. I enjoy cooking and keeping weeknights pretty chill (due to my job as a teacher) but that doesn't stop me still heading out for the odd meal locally or catching up with friends. I love sport, binging on Netflix for down time, travelling (holidays are a perk of my job), baking, reading, going to the theatre, exploring this great city, socialising with friends, and hunting out amazing coffee locations while exploring this wonderful city.
I'm an pretty neat, quiet Australian guy studying engineering on-line. I have a degree in applied science (chem), and experience as an electronics tech, and with computers, and can be a bit handy around the house. I enjoy a glass of wine, a chat, video/board/card games computer programming, and maybe a little bit of gardening. (Yes, I'm a bit of a nerd.) I'm fine with pets. Quitting smoking, smoking outside in the mean time. - Sam
Relatively quiet and happy to help out. Good sense of humor. I'm a 28yo post grad at UniMelb finishing off the last of my PhD. Pretty quiet these days with writing but always up for a chat. Thanks for considering me,
Beautiful big 3 bedroom home in a nice little pocket of Pascoe Vale South/Strathmore. Killer views overlooking the city from both rooms, Modern kitchen with a double drawer dishwasher, oven, plenty of cupboard space and dining area, ducted-heating, air-con(In the bedroom), 2 toilets, 1 bathroom (shower and bath) Huge backyard (comes with a gardener included) set on a hill with amazing 180 degree views of Melbourne from the back decking with a nice Balinese style hut(See pics). Great for BBQ's in summer or to watch a big storm roll in. Amazing sunsets too. House is predominantly furnished but happy to move stuff out to accommodate your things. You will at least need your own bed and couch though! Awesome home gym set up downstairs which is making a great clothes rack at the moment. Plenty of storage in the lock up garage and plenty of parking space too. Located 5-8 mins walk from Strathmore station and great freeway access with a 10-15 min drive to CBD. We live in a modern, 2 storey, 3 bedroom townhouse in Pascoe Vale with a small backyard and a garage that we have turned into a creative space. The house is fully furnished and we have a pet snake named Willis who occasionally comes out of his enclosure for a cuddle. Unfortunately we don't have any photos of the room available but it is a decent size with a very large closet.
Quick summary for you guys, I know you don't have time to waste eh. - Born and raised in Paris - 28 year old Mech. Engineer - Lived in London for 2 years before moving to Melbourne last year. London must be the European capital of flatshares and some of my ex flatmates have become great friends. So I'm used to share an apartment. I have 3 rules in a flatshare : -Be social -Be respectful -Be clean Personality wise, I'm very social and friendly but I respect private space so I won't intrude on others' personal space. I'm looking for a room close in the northern part of Melbourne (Brunswick, Coburg, Preston, Thornbury). Feel free to contact me!
Hey everyone, 25 year old guy here looking for a home! I work part-time as a retail slave currently but the goal is to eventually make a living off of my creative pursuits. I'm a writer, musician and artist and would love to share a home with other creative types. I am happy to live with anyone regardless of identity or orientation. I'm respectful, non-judgmental and polite and know the deal with respecting boundaries and sharing space. I'm open-minded and friendly and have a generally chill demeanour and would like other people on a similar wave length. I'm certainly not the partying type, but don't mind the occasional get together. I love connecting with people on a deeper level and would definitely want this in prospective housemates. I'm an audiophile who also loves reading, watching TV comedies and getting out into nature every now and then. Please let me know if you have questions :)
we are all uni students of RMIT and Latrobe uni. been living in Melbourne for 1 year.
Hi lovely people! I'm looking for a private room or a couple of people who'd be interested in a team-up (preferably females around a similar age to myself, but its not super important that it is). I'm looking at the inner or northern suburbs of Melbs and my budget is around $200p/w (but less is great). I lived in a share house in Wollongong NSW for the summer and have recently moved back down to Melbourne to complete my fourth and final year of Uni! I study Law at La Trobe Uni in Bundoora and am super passionate about the environment, so will be doing my Honours in environmental law this year. I work part time and I work hard. I will always pay rent/bills on time (have references who can vouch for this). I'm a fun, friendly, social and respectful person, who always cleans up after myself and will do my bit to keep the place spick and span! I love a good netflix binge but I also like to be active and practise yoga or go for a run every now and then. I love good food and don't mind a drink or two, but I'm just as happy to stay in with a cup of tea and a good movie. I'm a positive person and am happy to keep to myself at times, but I also love to socialise and am always down for a bit of fun! I also really like plants. I have a super cute kitty who I would love to move with if possible, however if I can't find a pet friendly place then he will be able to stay with my parents.
I am a 26-year-old (f) currently finishing a Graduate Bachelor of Law. At the moment, I am working part-time as a nanny for a beautiful family in Pascoe Vale South. Currently living in Pascoe Vale South and loving the area. I’ve lived in a sharehouse for 4 years so I’m used to sharing spaces/utilities and keeping areas tidy. I am a considerate housemate and am hoping to live with a group of friendly individuals who are open to occasionally hanging out or catching up over a beverage at the end of the day but who are also willing to make an equal effort in maintaining our living space. A few more details: - I work from 3.00 - 7.30 (Mon-Fri) with occasional morning shifts 7.00-9.30am. - Currently in the last year of my Law degree (if all goes well) - Pescatarian but mostly stick to a plant-based diet (love to cook for others too!) -I have a partner (don't worry, he's not looking to move in anytime soon) <3
Im an adult, mature and chilled, no hassle. Fairly self contained but enjoy the benefits of good company in share housing. Just finishing a re-qualification in Security and there is an abundance of work out there, so looking forward to getting into a new career. My hobbies are researching interesting stuff, podcasts etc, a bit of gaming, which I try to limit, and guitar oriented stuff. I vape, but i dont smoke, Originally from Tasmania.
- Health/Educational Professional - Relocating for work from country Vic - The very lovable 'Miss Ellie' (5 yr old golden retriever) comes as part of the package - Like expanding my mind while walking listening to podcasts, reading, cooking, wine, coffee and social catch ups with friends and family - Ideally hoping to secure a room in a pet friendly sharehouse
We're cousins in our 20's Josie is vegan but loves to cook everything Annemarie is non vegan/vegetarian and is also a willing cook now and then We both clean up after ourselves We both work in retail We love being social and having a wine with everyone but we still respect our quiet time to ourselves and we dont room hop! The apartment is right across the train station. Without it being noisy. 30 minutes train ride to the city. Close to Essendon, so Saturday and Sunday brunches possible. It’s very quiet in the building with some friendly people living here. It’s close to several gyms and park areas. It’s really neat and I’m the first time renter here. It’s air conditioned and airy 😁. I’d love someone fun, empathetic, grounded and neat.

This entry is for TWO adjacent rooms: a cosy bedroom and a generous studio/workroom, located in an exceptionally pretty wooden Edwardian home with flourishing garden in Queen Street Coburg. This is a vegetarian or pescatarian, non-smoking household. We can be flexible with furnishing for these rooms while the shared part of the home is harmoniously furnished in tune with the style of house. This house has a calm quiet atmosphere; I have lived here for fifteen years initially with my daughter and her family - it's a gracious, sweet place to live, especially with two gorgeous companionable cats. The surroundings are quiet, neighbours are friends. It's a lovely place to be.
This is a great little house nestled in a quiet street in Coburg. It has a large kitchen and living area with a garden out back. The room that is being rented has enough space for a double bed and desk as shown in the picture. It is out the back of the house so is very quiet, and it has access to its own bathroom/laundry. There is also plenty of storage space in this part of the house.
This room measures a little over 3x3 metres, and has two big windows and a mirrored built-in wardrobe. It will be vacant from late April/early May. The house is in a fantastic location - it's a short walk to Pascoe Vale train station and there are a number of buses which stop nearby. The house was brand new when we moved in last September, and it is bright & spacious with lots of great features (especially the ducted heating + cooling and dishwasher!). The real estate agency advertised it as follows: "This striking contemporary townhouse set on a block of four is certain to make an impression with its stylish interior and enviable inner-urban convenience. Filled with natural light, the family home features three generous bedrooms - master complete with walk in robes and ensuite comprising shower only and toilet, the remaining bedrooms have built in robes and are serviced by a centrally located bathroom comprising separate shower, bath and toilet, spacious lounge/dining room and superb adjoining gourmet kitchen complete with gas cooktop and stainless steel appliances and dishwasher along with stone benchtops. ***About the place*** The place is ideally located with easy access to public transport –bus stop about a minute walk and Tram 58 heading into the city a 5-7 minute walk from apartment. If you drive, there is plenty of parking available opposite the apartment & there is an IGA ,couple cafes, burger joint and pizzeria at a stone throw away! Rent is $920 per month +1 month deposit (deposit negotiable for the right person) upfront. Electricity (monthly) and water bills (quarterly) are split equally and there is no gas and internet bill paid by you. Apartment is furnished with modern appliances (TV, wardrobe, couch, washing-machine, dryer, kitchen amenities-big a*** fridge, central heating/cooling). By-the-way, there is an an amazing local park around the area should you like a run/walk in nature(with the local dogs frequenting). ***About You*** Ideally you should be someone with 3C’s as I like to say- Clean, Considerate and Common-sense with capability to pay the rent on time(I shouldn't have to remind you to pay-up). Someone looking for a Home rather than just a House to live in. ***In Summary*** I am not an over the bound clean freak but keep the common areas presentable and need my flatmate to contribute with the cleaning when things get messy. For ex: in the kitchen used pots, plates, utensils etc. are never left soaking in the sink forever and washed-up within 24 hours. In short you mess-up, you clean-up. I am open to having a fortnightly'ish cleaner for the common areas(of-course split 50-50 at an extra cost)...but in the past I have had some amazing flatmates who knew when to get the vacuum out and clean the bath.
