I'm a 24 year old admitted lawyer who is currently working at the Fair Work Commission (please don't hold either of those things against me!). I'm looking for a place with one or two friendly people who I can hang out with but who also have their own things going on. I'm very friendly and usually up for a chat most nights. I enjoy being social and having people around, although on weeknights I prefer to keep it a bit more chill. I have recently received a beautiful vegetarian cookbook which I'm super keen to try out (although still very partial to a good steak). I love animals so am more than happy to live with any pets. I would prefer to live with flat mates who are similarly working full time. If all of this sounds good feel free to shoot me a message, I'd love to be a part of making a share house a home!
I work 4 days/wk as HR Business Partner & Educator with a not-for-profit, and recommenced study of my 4th year Psychology in late August with Monash online. I'm very tidy and clean. I am independent and respectful of individual and shared spaces. I grew up with 3 siblings and a dog, and have lived with partners and in share houses over the past 6 years, very happily. My interests are nature, food and cooking, reading and music, red wine/beer and cheese, going on walks, the beach or the bush, getting away with friends, family time (dinners sometimes twice a week), animals especially cute or interesting ones, and trying new things! I currently live in the heart of the CBD and work is located in Richmond. I'm after something mid to long term.
Hi everyone! We're Andrea and Katia, a couple of Italian girls. Me, Andrea, I'm a barmaid and a chef, and my girlfriend Katia, she's a waitress and dancer. It's our first time in Melbourne, we're looking for job, we're excited and ready for this new adventure together! We're a 'wild' couple, who likes to do lot of things, go around, working, see and visit things and new places, know people, have parties, but also sometimes stay at home with film and pop corns! We're respectful to other people in the house, we know what privacy, cleaning, order, silence, and anything about quiet living are. We're sociable people guys, so, thanks to everyone could help us! Cheers, Andrea and Katia.
Neat, tidy and love a good feed. Into my sports and getting out and about on weekends. 24 years old and working full time for a work and travel company! A bit of a clown, enjoy a laugh and the odd beer. I'm willing to go over $250 if I feel the place is right for me!
HELLO! Anna here! I've recently returned to Melbourne from overseas and am, once again, looking for a place to call HOME. A bit about me- I'm 22, and am about to start work in mental health research in the CBD. In my spare time I like juggling, dancing, grooving, going to gigs, having a glass of red and trying to make things grow. I'm super laid back, clean and always down for a laugh. Looking for a room in a house with positive vibes, available to move in ASAP. Looking forward to hearing from you!
I'm currently living in the Eastern suburbs but am looking to relocate so I can be closer to work (preferably North Melbourne). I currently have a house full of furniture and white goods so I pretty much have everything you need for a house. I'm hoping to meet somebody to team up with to look for a place together. A little about me - I'm 29 and work in the construction industry. During the week I tend to keep things pretty low key, with my nights generally consisting of sport or gym. I love cooking (food in general) so I'm happy to share meals and my baked goods. I love my sports especially AFL, so if you like your footy I’m sure we will get along. Weekends are for exploring and I love getting out on day trips and hikes.
Hi! We are 2 canadian nurses looking for a private room in a flat or a house in Melbourne. After a bit of research, we'd like to look into the Collinwood-Fitzroy-Brunswick neighborhoods (but also open to exploring). We have a vehicule but would rather park it somewhere and use public transports. We are both 28, will be working as nurses, are tidy and non-smoker. Our hobbies include cooking, cycling, kitesurfing, snowboarding, hiking, camping... Budget: around 150$/week, negotiable depending on utilities (wifi, water...) References: we lived with a housemate for 3 lovely months in Sunshine Coast, and we stayed on 2 different farms (in Byron Bay and in Renmark). We can provide you with references. Dates: From early October until early December. Let me know if you've got something in that range :) - Annick and Guillaume
I work for non for profit organisation in finance department. I'm very easy-going person and like to chat about anything. I like to keep things neat and tidy around place. Sometimes I go away for a weekend. I love sport and movies. I can stay up to 6 months if required.
HI guys , we are Roberto and Vittoria from Italy, we are a really nice , clean, friendly and tidy couple searching for a safe place to spend our time after work , where we can relax and enjoy our free time. Roberto is studying theatre in Melbourne while Vittoria will travel a little bit around the country in the next months. We are very respectful about privacy , space and the rules of the house. We like going to the gym and doing sports in general and having a beer or a glass of wine with housemates. cheers, Roberto and Vittoria
I am looking for a place to share where housemates have respect for each other's boundaries & personal lives & communicate with each other in a courteous manner, & its a FAIR & equitable home environment, yet warm, kind & friendly household, with ensuite or seperate bathroom, in quiet and clean surrounds. I am a management consultant & my adorable cavoodle is very clean, friendly, quiet, very well behaved, is professionally house-trained and is the ideal household pet. I am sociable yet like the quietness in the household. Not a party animal. Independent, clean and tidy and friendly, love to cook, have a glass of wine occassionally.
I've been living in Melbourne for a few years now but originally from Western Australia. I spend most of my time in my studio painting and work 4 days a week for a temping agency. My other interest are food, wine, gardening and health. I studied Naturopathy for a few years before pursuing arts and its still an interest of mine. I also have a washing machine and couch if you need and a lot of books and plants too.
I am Yamila, 26 years old from Argentina. I am working full time in a grocery near parliament. I arrived in Melbourne 1 month ago and I am living in Yarraville. I am easygoing, organised and tidy person, and I love to do sports and be outside as much as I can. I am looking for a private furnished room to move in at the beginning of October. Any questions, please feel free to ask!
I moved to Melbourne from Northern California one year ago. I am, like most people from California, chilled, friendly, but most importantly, respectful and responsible. I am a mechanical engineer, and recently started a new job in Collingwood, so I am looking for a house that I can call home in that area. In my spare time, I go to the gym, play soccer, enjoy the local music scene, discover new restaurants and bars, catch up with friends, watch most sports, do mt biking, or simply stay home and watch a film or read. Look forward to meeting you and hopefully become good friends.
Hi we are Sophie and Grace, we are looking for two spare rooms or a person/people to team share with. We have lived together for the past two years and have a small cat. Sophie studies Nutrition and also works at a cafe, Grace works full time in marketing. We are both very clean as we like to live in a nice space and always pay our rent/bills on time! We are looking for people that are in their 20s and enjoy socialising as we like to have fun.
I am friendly and easy going, work Full Time, Mon-Fri in the CBD, and currently live alone in a one bedroom apartment in Hawthorn close to Swinburne University. I've lived in the apartment for about 9 years. I would like to start a new lease or move into an existing share house offering a private room in the inner suburbs closer to the CBD. I prefer to meetup in person for a coffee to discuss further.
Hi I'm Jade, I'm 25 from New Zealand. I previously lived in Melbourne for a couple of years before moving to London for just over two years. I have now returned to NZ and am ready to get back into Melbourne life! I will be back in Melb on September 27th. I work in hospitality, usually cafes, so my hours aren't too crazy. In my spare time I like to hang out with friends, try out new bars and restaurants, see what events are on in the city or just chill at home. I'm a very easy going person who loves a clean house and respectful housemates. During my time in London I ended up living with over 20 different housemates so I'm very understanding of others and can get on with pretty much anyone!
I'm a "can't-quite-believe-I'm-30" 31 year old, seasoned share house veteran of inner city Melbs. I'm well travelled having lived in both the U.K. & U.S. over the years. Currently full time tennis coaching, I love my sports, live music, cooking and eating, coffee and enjoy a few beers on the weekends.
Hello I'm Stefani, a creative mind filled with wonder and excitement, I look for adventure and enjoy meeting new people. Well ladies and gents I am light hearted and relaxed in nature, there will always be laughter and friendship. I do love to cook as food excites me. I am a respectful and thoughtful person. I love to go out and explore, attended festivals, night markets, try great food, honestly anything. I work in the buying field within the Richmond area, I attend the gym after work hours, have started pole dance and dabble in Samba dance. I'm generally out and about unless having a night in binge watching shows (PICKLE RICK!!!) with Cheetos. Have recently gotten into watching rugby, will go to the theatre, cocktail bars & dance floors are my friends haha and honestly I will always be up for a night out or burgers on a hangover day. I am hoping to come across a person or persons that I can share dinners, drinks and laughter with as I do not want to live in a place where we stick to only our rooms and barely know one another. I come with a couch, dining table & chairs, fridge, washing machine, TV cabinet, and a couple other items to decorate the place.
I am a registered nurse but also work for Mecca Maxima in the city. I am a Tassie girl but moved to Melbourne in Feb and am loving it. I am specifically looking for a house that has a community feel as moving from Tassie I haven't got many friends in Melbs yet so would love to have a good bunch of mates. I am respectful, clean and enjoy my own space as well. I am always on time for paying bills and respect others privacy. I also have some great banter!
I work in Media, and enjoy going out with friends as well as my quiet time. I play Futsal on Sunday's, and enjoy baking desserts - there's always plenty of leftovers to share. I also love to binge-watch television shows and movies so my TV and film knowledge will come in handy if you're looking for another team member at pub trivia.
A bit about me: I work in the performing arts sector for a not-for-profit organisation called Girls from Oz. We do a lot of work with Indigenous girls in remote Australia so I do a little bit of travel, but my main location is in our office in East Kew. I'm pretty social, big on brunch and a few drinks on the weekend. Also pretty keen on heading into the footy whenever I get the chance. During the week I'm pretty lowkey - work kind of takes over and I'm looking at going back to do my Masters at uni next year as well. I'm 23 and just moved out of a great little place in Glen Iris with my equally great housemate and hoping to stay on that side of the world (it's perfect). Having also done a lot of backpacking and working/living in hostels I'm super used to living with larger groups of people and respecting a mutual space. Can't wait to hear from you!
Looking to rent a FURNISHED room in Abbotsford/Collingwood/Richmond or around, up to $300/week including utilities. About me: I am a 23 year old recent graduate starting an advertising internship in Abbotsford in the beginning of October.I have previously stayed in Melbourne for a year, and have been living away from home since 2013. I am tidy, respectful and sociable, and I enjoy cooking and dancing. What I'm looking for: At mentioned before, I'd love to live in a FURNISHED room around Abbotsford/Collingwood/Richmond or neighbouring areas, since it would facilitate my commute to work. I would like to live with like-minded people around my age. Since I'd be working 9-5, I'd rather live somewhere where loud music and parties are saved for the weekends, and while I understand privacy (everyone needs their me-time), I wouldn't mind becoming friends with future housemates over the occasional drink or cookout. I am looking for a homely place rather than a sleep-and-go kinda house. Bonus points if you have cats, or any other pets.
My name is Kate - I'm 35, a writer and therapist, as well as homely creative and foodie type with a penchant for good whole food and organic cooking. Currently I work 35 hours a week including Saturdays, Sundays and one late night. I am financial, rent and bill reliable, spacially aware, friendly, v.open minded and socially and emotionally intelligent. I love music, art, dancing - dancing in the kitchen while cooking and listening to music! I am a seasoned housemate and great communicator and like to think that I'm a pretty ace all-rounder when it comes to making it work. I am looking for a grounded, earth and human friendly home with a bath and veg patch (or patio for pots?) I can share with other similarly minded and hearted human beings, ideally with others who are 28 + and who enjoy an active, creative and clean-living lifestyle. Because of the nature of my work, I enjoy my home as a sanctuary of nurture, rest, creativity and peace, rather than a super-social party house, and a space where the TV is not the central focus. I could live on my own and have done in the past, however I am choosing to share right now as I appreciate and welcome the social aspects of living with others - it expands my horizons and it can be wonderfully supportive in key ways if it is the right dynamic. I am looking for a large and light filled room in such a home. Please let me know if you are keen and I'd love to swing by at a mutually suitable time. If you'd like to chat more please do not hesitate to contact me. Warmly, Kate.
Hi there - I am a considerate, reliable and friendly housemate. I work full-time in HR at a Hospital and I'm originally from Brisbane but living in Melbourne. I like to unwind with friends and enjoy getting out and about exploring all Melbourne has to offer on the weekends. I like to keep fit and enjoy cooking. I'm hoping to find a place that feels like home, not just a house.
