Mature age F student, 50s, english, speak a little french/portugese, studying arts/languages/primary teaching, working, reliable, with refs, vegetarian, active, enjoys healthy lifestyle, loves animals & nature,a bit of cooking/baking, gardening, sketching, cuppas, log fires, good books, foreign films and homely homes with people with similar interests. Looking for a home not just a room. I don't want to live in a household ruled by tv, commercial radio and newspapers, so count me out if that's you. I'm a bit of a greenie, who respects the environment and recycles, doesn't use chemicals, likes natural smells like fresh air and fresh flowers. I treat the home as a sacred place that is welcoming and great to come home to, a place where we feel welcome and comfortable to be ourselves with the highs and lows life deals out to us. Enjoy catching up with friends and family, exploring markets, like theatre, galleries. I hope to find the right match of person/s to share with.I shall be looking long term as I'll be at uni for at least the next four years. I have a gorgeous little 8yr old Shi-Tzu & black cat Inky who are very well cared for, good mannered and adorable. I'm out with dog exploring parks as often as possible mostly all weekend. They live inside and mainly sleep the rest of the time. Would be great if you also had a little dog and cat as mines mates have sadly just passed away and we are missing them terribly. Peaceful stable, safe, mature household required. I like lots of cuppas while I am workin. will make them for you too, and checking in with the people I live with, making sure everyone's ok, sharing a cuppa or a feast, or a trip to the markets, and the chores of course, not ocd about housework, but tidy and willing to muck in to keep household running smoothly. Work from home part time so require that bit of office space. Not decided on location, inner suburbs, quiet leafy streets, or outer suburbs with lots of greenery.Open to suggestions if right household/share situ. Also flexible with moving, just have to give 28 days notice on my current tenancy.
Hey, im Miheka, 27yr old professional who's recently moved down from Brisbane to Melbourne for work. I'm looking for a place preferably near the city for a short commute. About me: I'm a friendly laid back person who loves nothing more than a good chat in the evenings over a glass of wine. Im respectful of peoples privacy and their things but if you're ever in need of a person to talk to I'm always there to lend an ear. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, catching up with friends and netflix. I do enjoy a tidy space but I'm not a clean freak.
I am searching for a place where I can create real conection with the people I live with. I like cooking, chat, dancing and decorate! I am a architecure and urban planning student so I can say that I love to talk about a lot of different subjects because since I began this degree I'm always in touch with different things to learn and make new conections. I used to live in a shared house when I was in the univesity so you don't have worry about respect, hygienic and things like that because even when I was a junior I always have a nice relashionship with my flatmates <3
Hi, My partner is moving overseas so I am looking for a place to stay in meanwhile for 6 months. I can start renting from August onwards. I'm Thai born Norwegian, and I have been living in Melbourne for over 3 years. I'm easy going and friendly, I like to keep my place tidy and clean. I work full time in accounts (8.30-5) , so I love to relax when I get back from work but also great to have a conversation with- I'm a good listener :) I like to head to the gym, relax during the weekends (netflix) at home, go to the movies or out having brunch and drinks with friends. I am looking for a home and not a party place. I respect other's privacy as I do like to have my own private time. I’m not just looking for a roommate but a friend and a place that I can call home. Looking for my own bedroom and bathroom apartment, shared flat with only one female flatmate, no couples- Inner City Suburbs close to public transport only!
28 years old and working full time in HR. I’m also clean, organized, super friendly & easygoing and adaptable! I love going out for nice dinners and drinking wine 🍷. Also love my nights in watching Netflix 😊. In my spare time I love to nap haha! I'd also ideally be bringing along my iMac with me that I'm more than happy to share with my housemate/s!
I´m Full time Graduate Architecture Student, Happy to find nice, clean, and open-minded roomates from any nationality, i enjoy good conversations, but also respect everyone´s privacy and space. I speak fluently English, spanish and portuguese. I´m available to visit places asap as i need to move from where i am next week
We're a young couple coming form Italy, friendly, easy going, open minded and we love to meet new people. We are clean and tidy and always polite to everyone. We are moving to Melbourne hoping to live a nice experience, learn as much as we can from the Country and the peolpe.
I'm currently studying arts at Melbourne Uni, majoring in criminology and German. I have a passion for animals (particularly dogs), cooking, and am an avid reader when I have time. I work quite a lot, currently at a cafe in Kew but hoping to find a nannying position or something new within the next few months. I'm clean, a good cook and down to have dinner/wine together as much or as little as you want. My preference would be for a team up rather than moving in to an established household, because I have heaps of furniture and would love the thrill of setting up the house collaboratively that way you and I like! I'm planning on fully equipping the kitchen, so if you're a fan of baking, there will never be a shortage of utensils. I would also love to have a roommate with a pet (or several!), because I'll be leaving the family dog that we have had for 10 years who is virtually my child. Absolutely not a requirement, but would be a super fun bonus. I'm buying a car ASAP so I would need parking, but not fussed about whether it's on or off-street.
fun and adventurous photographer, clean and respectful housemate and generally an all rounded chilled person with an occasional Netflix binge or a glass of wine when i have the time. Serious inquires ONLY as i need to move in ASAP. Looking for close proximity to the city and public transport and also, long term as well, if its the right fit
I'm 25. I am originally from Lismore, far north coast NSW. I'm a dual citizen of Australia/Ireland. I've been living on Napier St in Fitzroy for the last 2.5 years; very keen to be in close proximity to the ACU campus. I study 3rd/4th year occupational therapy at ACU. I play weekly ultimate frisbee in brunswick! I can attempt to show you how to forehand throw a disc. I love long distance running (half marathons), cycling, rock climbing, mountain biking and trail running. I am an avid traveller, I love backpacking and I've been on a few trips to Nepal and India which both hold a special place in my heart. I love watching footy! One of my favourite things to do in Melbourne is a day trip to St. Andrews markets. I work as a disability support worker (DSW) for Independence Australia; providing clients living with spinal cord injuries/cerebral palsy with in-home personal care support. I also work as a DSW for Scope and City of Port Phillip providing support in creative activities/community access for people with disabilities. In this work I also get to provide support at Holiday Arts programs, a community kitchen and community theatre. Disability support and occupational therapy are my life passions. I'm clean, easy going and super reliable with rent (thank you Youth Allowance). I have been living in sharehouses since 18 - and as a result I respect and value shared areas and open communication. I'd love to meet you and your housemates! Cheers, Leigh.
I’m a 25 year old American. I’m level headed, and a chill person to be around. I work in theatre back in the US. I’ve been working in childcare in AU. I love being surrounded by similar artsy types. I love pets (but I don’t come with any), occasional cocktails, Netflix, and dancing. I’m open to location.
I'm in Melbourne for one last month before going home to Singapore for good! I love singing, though I generally don't sing or play music at home unless my housemates join me. I perform outside occasionally and I love trying new food and exploring new places. Going to miss Melbourne and so I'm staying till the very end of my student visa to enjoy the last bits of beautiful Aussie.
Hi there! We're a couple, one French, one Japanese. We both speak English fluently, but you will hear us speaking other languages at home! We're both quiet, friendly, and very reliable people. One of us is working full-time, the other is working from home at the moment. We are looking for a place to move in around mid-August, for three months to start, while we figure some visa details. We both love pets (so if you have one, it is not an issue at all), and both cook (one of us is a chef). One of us smokes occasionally, but will do so outside of the house/flat/place. Hit us up so we can arrange a visit!
Originally a Canberra girl, I moved here 2 years ago for obvious reasons. I've been a make up artist for 8 years and work in the city a few days a week and am studying Dermal Science the other days of the week! I love Iced tea, dancing in my room, baking, binge watching Netflix and going for walks/drives. Always up for a good chat with or without drinks and I can make amazing vegetarian meals - but i'll let you be the judge of that. I'm respectful of a shared space and can keep things nice and tidy!

Hi, my name is Patrick. I'm the type of person that gets along with most anyone. Chill when things need to be chill and fun when things need to be fun! I'm an east-melbournian born and raised. I'm studying a masters in engineering at melbourne uni and working about 10 hours a week tutoring a couple classes there. That takes up most of my week. On weekends you'll find me playing tennis or going out to a gig, or maybe taking it easy reading a book. I'm looking for a place that's withing biking distance of uni (let's say, 10km), and I'm looking for roommates that appreciate a good board game or movie night. I like people with a good sense of humour and a decent taste in music. Having worked as a cook for a couple years, I also know my way around a kitchen. Hit me up if you'd like to chat about being roommates!
Hi, my name is Dawit and I'm a 22 year old computer science student from Denmark. I'm originally from Ethiopia but I'm born in Denmark. In my sparetime I enjoy playing piano and do small software projects. I will be living in Melbourne from the end of June, until mid-through November. I'm an outgoing person who is always curious to learn new things. I enjoy my downtime, which I usually spend reading (ie. watching netflix :P). I have recently become very interested in roadbiking and hope to invest in a roadbike while I'm in Melbourne.
Here’s to feeling good all of the time. I’m a movie maker and photo taker, and I work on Feature Films and as a high end Wedding Cinematographer. I like movies and TV a lot, when there is nothing on I like to live stream 24/7 episodes of Seinfeld. I love going out for drinks, or breakfast, or even better staying in and making drinks for breakfast. My interests are: - Filmmaking and photography - Going on day trips to National Parks - Watching TV and Movies on my projector - I love music and making playlists - Going out for coffee, or beer or brunch - Hosting dinner parties - I do Movember every year What I’m looking for in a home - I try not to stay up all night (unless we’re doing a LotR Marathon) - I like to eat healthy, and I love cooking together, splitting groceries, eating together. - I’m the first to make a pot of tea for whoever wants one - I like putting deck chairs on the roof in the summer and drink a beer while the sun sets - Anti-smoker - I like to keep everything tidy, and clean when necessary If you are interested in having me over for an inspection or meeting me for a team up, please send me a message or call me any time. I’m really open and I'm looking to meet new people, and make new friends, so I’m always down for a good coffee or a cold beer.
