Hello everyone! I'm an exchange student from Germany studying Psychology at the University of Melbourne for one semester. I've already been to Melbourne twice and love the city and everything it has to offer e.g. the great coffee and the comedy festival ;) Since I'm only here for a short period I ideally would like to find a sublet for about 4 and a half months, but I will consider other alternatives as well! Last time I was in Melbourne I was an AuPair in a family with 3 children for 6 months. I also travelled along the East Coast and to Bali. When I don't have to study for exams I like keeping active, going for a run/to the gym and getting a coffee and some much needed sun outside :) I'm a very responsible, easy to live with, considerate person and like my space to be clean and organized. So if you think we would be a good fit send me a message! I look forward to hearing from you. See ya, Cosima

I'm a full time professional and live an active lifestyle, stay as fit as possible and am passionate about my work. I'm very clean and used to be a cook, so love cooking too. Play a few instruments, and am very down to earth. I am not a huge party person, but definitely enjoy a glass of wine or whisky over some banter or chill time. Looking to move in the first 3 weeks of February (Feb1 -> Feb22). I work in the CBD, so always close about.
Hi everyone) I'm Rick from The Netherlands. I'm on exploring tour, looking for a better place to move from the rainy and cold Dutch ground. My goal is to organise my life in here, learn the system, culture, people in the country it self. Openminded, relax and active person(in a few words about myself). I do speak a few languages and try to learn some others everyday. I always have my own food) and will never take something from the others. Used to live with different people from countries all around the world, so yes, i do respect everyone's privecy and any cultural differencies are not the reason to show inappropriate behavior.
Hi I'm Loris. I'm from Paris but I've been living in Melbourne for the last two years. Currently studying Primary School Teaching, I also work part-time. I'm easy-going, clean and respectful of other's privacy as I enjoy having my own space too. Always up for a chat and having a beer and spend time with my housemates as to create an enjoyable environment where we all like to hang out.
Hi, I'm Aspen. I am a 3D Artist by trade, doing my Masters in Software Engineering at RMIT. I have two cats, Eleanor and Rigby! They're very friendly, and everyone who meets them adores them. Hey everyone! Originally a Sydney-sider, moved to Canberra for five years and now I am making the move to Melbourne. I'll be undertaking a post-graduate degree in Hawthorn (Swinburne) and would love a commute time (transport+walk) of under 35 or so minutes. I'm always up for a chat and love board games. However as a student/researcher, I may spend a day or two cooped up in my room trying to get through the next four years of uni! On another note, I make sure I keep the communal areas clean, particularly after I've used it. Shoot me a message if you think I could be your next housemate!
Hi there, I’m Flavia, a 33 year old architect and jewellery designer. I’ve been living across the globe for over ten years and have been calling Australia my home for nearly five years now. I’m quite busy during the week with work and my business but enjoy sharing meals, wine, good stories (maybe even trips to the ocean) when the time allows. I am used to house sharing and you’ll find a respectful, reliable and friendly housemate. I don’t have any pets but it would be a big bonus if you do! :) my move in date is flexible so can work around your preferred date.
Hi! We are a couple from America and Canada who just arrived in Australia and are on the search for full-time jobs and a great place to live! We have been living in Thailand for the past year teaching English and backpacking SE Asia the last 3 months so we are eager to find a place we can finally settle down and call home for a while. We both love being active outdoors, playing and watching sports, movies and cooking. We both like being social (Keegan a bit more than Jess) and hanging out, but also taking time to ourselves to relax. We are clean and respectful! Would love to chat if you think we'd be a good fit.
Hi! Quite the stereotypical Norwegian I'm currently undertaking a postgraduate degree in Fisheries and Aquaculture science in a small, snowy town above the Arctic Circle. I'm moving to Melbourne this semester to study abroad at University of Melbourne. I've lived in a central, very social shared housing in Norway for the last 3,5 years and would like to find something similar in Melbourne. I'm outgoing, love cooking and photography and consider myself reasonably tidy.
Laid back, clean and organised Flight Attendant (shift worker).Looking for somewhere within melbourne CBD. (Or close to CBD) Spend most of my time interstate with work. I work full time Mon-Friday 9-5. Generally hang out with my friends or go out exploring new places/bars on the weekend. Enjoy eating good food and I do cook sometimes. Love having conversations about any issue/topic over a couple of beers/wine or even watch a movie or TV-show. Quite easy going and a neat person.
I'm a 29 year old Interior Design Graduate making the big move from Sydney to Melbourne. I'm hella excited to carve a new career in a design capital! More about me; I love to cook and I sing terribly in the shower free of charge. I also enjoy the occasional boogie and a night on the town. I'm looking for a clean and laid back urban oasis with a cool crew of people who respect personal space but also get together occasionally for shared meals and activities. I would prefer an environmentally conscious household.
I’m 24 from England. I’m a very clean housemate, when I’m not working im a full time gym addict! I love having Netflix and chill days when I’m not at work, also partial to a cheeky drink! Very social person :)
Easygoing guy, know what’s expected, get along well with most people, respectful and well mannered. Enjoy a drink and a laugh, wide variety of interests. Work in retail liquor and love wine, always happy to share my knowledge and experience. Have an amazing cat, Elliot, who is clean, even-tempered and loves a cuddle.
Pretty relaxed 35 year old guy, employed professionally in education. Love my job and the good it allows me to do for future generations. I am into my own health and fitness; my drive to exercise is so I can eat! I like to chill out on the couch or in my room in my down time as I am generally pretty busy during week after work. I’m trying to read more in 2019, wish me luck! Also really enjoy being in the kitchen; I’m no chef but I can do my basics alright. Happy with nights in; home cooking and meal prepping; maybe with some wine and a few laughs. A real home feels like home, a place you share with friends/family, you take pride in it and it gives you an anchor. I want a high quality home and if it’s to share then I’ll take my time to find high quality people too. Addicted to going out for food at any opportunity and like to try new places and bars. I have a strong small social circle in Melbourne but always happy to meet new people. Very much a outgoing and social person but I’m a bit of an introvert at heart. Current motto: let life live; be kind and honest with people, it actually costs you nothing.
Hi potential flatmate, My Name is Jake, I'm 18 years old and from northern Victoria. I am an easy going guy who is hard working, motivated and willing to meet new people when I move to Melbourne. I like to play sport, go fishing occasionally out the lake and always loved cars. I have been living in the country all my life and looking to move on the 27th of January to study at Collarts University. I look forward to meeting my potential flatmate who will be welcoming for me as a first year student and flatmate.
Hi my name is Levi Quinn and I'm looking for a place to live in close to the CBD, as I've recently gotten a job in Port Melbourne. Still currently living in my home in Tasmania. I'm due to start my new job on February 11th and will likely travel over the week before to check out potential houses and hopefully move in. Not extremely fussy on move in date but a week or so either side of 11/02/19 would be great. Would also be happy to team up with the right people to apply for a new rental. About me: * I'm a 23 year old male * Coming from Hobart where I’ve lived for the last 12 years * Dual trade electrician by profession where I’ll be working Full Time at SAGE Automation in Port Melbourne * Like being tidy, without being neurotic about it * Follow Rugby and AFL * Non-smoker * Definite dog person but love all pets * Like watching Netflix series in my down time * Enjoy a beer or rum at the end of the week * Love my outdoor activities such as fishing, diving, camping, etc * Very social person so always up for a chat and doing something with people What I'm trying to find: * Somewhere nearby to the CBD (within 25 minutes by car) * Around $275 a week + Bond * Preferably a house rather than an apartment/unit with on or off street parking for my work vehicle. Some sort of yard and/or storage would be nice, but not essential * Long term lease or the opportunity for it * Fully furnished would be ideal as I don’t have much to offer furnishing wise as I’ll be driving up from Tassie with not a whole lot. That being said I would be happy to contribute to buying furniture once moved in * Chill and social housemates that are like minded who wouldn’t be opposed to cooking and eating meals together every now and then as well as generally hanging out * Cool bars/pubs/cafes nearby a bonus Cheers 🍻
