Hello, I am currently working and studying my masters. I go to my family in the country often on weekends. I have a beautiful old dog who pretty much sleeps 23 out of 24 hours. He is an inside dog. Very clean and quiet and gentle. Not in a rush to move. Just hoping to find somewhere closer to work. But if I find the right place can move any time.
I am Ilaria, 29 yo, italian! I currently work as an architect in Carlton, but I also study Construction Management in South Melbourne. In my free time (when I get some 😀 ) I like to go out, explore my photographic creativity, do yoga and maybe check some art exhibition, or simply chill at home with a good book! I am friendly but also respectful, plenty of experience in house sharing, so I definitely know how to keep communal spaces clean and be respectful of other's privacy, but also be there for a drink or a chat occasionally.
Hello :) I am a full-time student and work part time as a personal trainer with Result Based Training so I am quite busy Monday to Friday. I also have a car so somewhere to park would be ideal. I am from Queensland originally and moved here to study physiology at the University of Melbourne. I am clean, friendly and excited to find somewhere to live.
Heya! I'm Jeremy, a 24 year old guy working full time in customer service. In my spare time, my heart and passion lies in music. I do plan to study next year, however that is still to be decided. I'm looking for share house that consists of people who are creative, driven and respectful! I'm clean, I keep to myself usually but I am far from anti social. My move in date will vary, but if the fit is right I'm happy to move in by early September. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if I seem like a suitable candidate :^)
I am 22 year old girl from England. I've been living in Melbourne for 6 months in part-time work and playing for a hockey team. I've booked my flights to be returning permanently to Melbourne at the beginning of February 2018. I will 99% be in full time work, and also be playing for the hockey team again. I am super reliable and a clean/tidy person. I make a marvellous cup of tea, and alternatively I am generous with buying take away coffees for friends in need. Above all else, I love brunching in and around the CBD. I know and respect the rules of flat sharing as I lived with friends at uni for 3 years. I love to be sociable with flatmates but also have my me time. Would ideally love to find some nice easy going flatmates to share with!
outgoing and super friendly. Love to have a couple of drinks every so often and have lots of fun. very clean and will respect your privacy. if shared areas like the kitchen, living area and bathroom are clean, we're happy.
Hi there! A little about me- I'm a respectful, easy going, fun to be around, housemate that will add some life to the (house) party. See what I did there? Being and artist and bit of an athlete I'm interested in mostly those 2 things- gallery openings, anything cultural (I come from the NYC area) and different and most sporting events. I'm very social- enjoy going out for drinks or dinner with friends or having friends over to do the same. I'm a very clean roommate and respectful of space and SLEEP- it's the most important thing. Have been traveling for nearly 2 years now and plan to be in Melbourne for the rest of my time in AUS. I did my partying in the fist half of my travels so it's not on the top f my priority list... though, I do dabble occasionally. For work I will most likely be in a cafe so I can do my art in the afternoons. If you think we'd be good housemates give me a buzz and we can chat! Thanks! Liz
Hi, I'm Bao, I work in the banking and finance industry and usually finish work around 5.30-6pm. I'm currently studying my Masters of applied finance while working full time. I like sports, love coffee and I'm a cycling enthusiast and keen runner. On weekends, I like to get out and about to socialise and fun, but I also I like to chill out at home with some good music and a drink or two
Hey there potential flatmate! I'm a recruitment professional who is moving to Melbourne from Wellington - full time job already secured. Things to know about me: - exceptional pub quiz contributor - super reliable with bills, chores and the like - excellent with dogs, having had my own and volunteered with SPCA - enthusiastic foodie with particular interests in craft beer, cheese and Southern US food (I make a mean pulled pork) - Non-annoying NZ accent - pop culture junkie and film buff - equally happy hanging out with flatmates and chatting as I am chilling on my own If I sound like someone you'd like to hang out with, I'd love to hear from you!
Hi, two years ago relocated from Burleigh on the Gold Coast to the Mornington Peninsular and enjoy what my home offers but recently had the opportunity to spend a few months in inner Melbourne and remembered how much I love the town. So am looking to rent a space so I can split my time between the beach and city. I believe I am open minded, respectful, into clean food and non chemical environment, travel whenever I can and enjoy getting out and about with friends for food, live music..... Hard to say how often I will be around, depends on what opportunities re: travel, work etc. come along. Also a non smoker, social drinker, music, yoga, walker and dog lover. Thanks for your time Shelley
A little about myself: I have been in Melbourne for almost two years. Still miss the weather from home. I have a Molecular Biology/Biochemistry degree. I was previously working in finance which is funny cause I hate maths/numbers (they freak me out). I have recently gone back to university (Health Science degree). I am working part time for a finance company and also as a casual at a music venue. After living with some not so clean flatmates, who leave dirty dishes with food still on them for days at a time, I have realised I am a little anal about a clean kitchen. I don't mind doing everyone's dishes but I hate having to do them when there is three day old food crusted on them still. I am not a vego however I have absolutely no problem not eating meat at home. I like science and Sci-Fi and art and superheroes and zombies and dancing badly and cooking and eating and laughing. I read a lot so spend a lot of time in my room or at work/university. But I am not antisocial. I can be coaxed out of my room for adventures as long as I still get my me time to recharge.
We are a young couple from sunny Scotland moving to Australia for 4 months in September. We are arriving in Melbourne on Sept 1st and are looking for somewhere to live until the end of December. I am 23 and a law graduate and my partner Ross is 22 and a geography graduate. We are taking a year out to travel and work abroad and our first stop is Melbourne! We are both into sports and fitness, movies, eating out and like having some drinks at the weekend. We are both non-smokers and clean. We have both lived in share houses previously so understand about privacy however as this is our first time in Melbourne we would love to make some friends who could show us the ropes! Hope you'll consider us :)
Hi there! :-) I am a 25 year old Norwegian who just moved to Melbourne to do one semester of my masters in economics and business administration at the University Of Melbourne. I'm really sociable and I would love to find a place to live with like-minded people. I love to travel, explore new things and get to know new people. I'm a tidy person who is used to living with other people and respect my roommates. I'm always up for fun and I would say that I'm an easy going person. I am interested in finding roommates who would like to make dinner together from time to time, go out to grab a beer or a cup of coffee, or just chill out. If you need a new roommate and think that I could fit in I would love to hear from you :-)
Hi everyone, my boyfriend and I are moving to Melbourne on Working Holiday visas this October - looking for a furnished double room in the city/inner suburbs. I am 23, from the UK, and Ricky is 22, from the US. We're not looking for a party house but we're very sociable and would love to get to know you as we don't know many people in Melbourne! We love cooking, going out for dinner/drinks, and doing fun days out. We're planning on working full-time when we arrive (we have enough to support ourselves until we find work). Budget is $300-400 pw for rent and bills. Move in date 4-7 October - staying for about 1 year, though maybe a little less. PLEASE NOTE: We do not arrive in the country until October 4th, so please don't message me if you want us to move in before that! For this reason we also can't inspect properties - but I can Skype you so you can get to know us a little and we can see the place :)
Adaptive. I fit the house rather than the house fits me. I've lived in many situations, with many types of people. Just back to Melbourne after living in Beijing and Manila. Oh I'm gay, which i hope makes little difference in this day and age...
I'm an American working full-time 9-5 in CBD. I'm fun and easygoing, laid-back and easygoing. Generally, I'm upbeat and positive, friendly and happy for a chat around the house or over drinks. I've lived in Melbourne for almost 2 years and am fully house-trained for share houses = tidy, pitch in for housework, pay bills on time, and all the rest. As to household stuff, I could bring a fridge, a television, and a BBQ, along with my own bedroom stuff. Probably a couch too if needed.
Couple from England awaiting our working holiday in Australia! Looking for shared accommodation in city centre or close to transport links. Friendly and easy to get along with. Enjoy going out and socialising!
I'm chilled, reliable and easy to get along with. Been doing the share house thing for a while so I'm pretty house trained! I'm quite social and love to have a beer and a chat or the occasional meal but get the need for space as well. I'm a good communicator and would love to live with rad people who get along and consider their home more than just a place to sleep. I'm also a grown woman who knows how to pay rent/bills on time, stick to a cleaning roster and buy toilet paper! I'm from Melbourne originally but have been living just south of the Grampians for work for the last couple of years, I'm moving back to Melbourne to start a new job. I'm a gardener and will kit out the place with awesome indoor plants if I get the chance! I love to cook, go out to gigs and have a laugh. I've got a heap of furniture and am all ready to go so could potentially do a team up or put stuff in storage to fit into an existing sharehouse. Hit me up if it sounds like a good fit!
Hi there ! I am a Spaniard moving to Melbourne for work (I intend to stay for a few years) and I am looking for a place to live. My company provides me with a serviced apartement in the CBD for the first 2 weeks and then I shall look for my own accomodation starting on Sep 17th. I thought it would be best to find a shared house so that is why I have resgistered at Flatmates. I am originally from Madrid and have been living there ever since, although I have travelled a lot, both for leisure and for work. I am an outdoor person, beer enthusiast and very easy going. I will arrive in Melbourne on Sep 3rd. Please feel free to say hello ;) Cheers!
