Hey! I’m Becky, 27 from the UK. I’ve lived in many house shares before and deeply value respecting each other’s space. I have experience travelling solo around the world. An introverted extrovert. Excited to hopefully make great friends in this new city. I have my working holiday visa approved so I’d be working in a bar or club...likely leaving for work around 9pm and coming home in the early hours, sleeping in ‘till around lunchtime :) I’m very open minded and pretty much always down for a new experience or challenge
Hi Im looking for a drama free home where housemates respect privacy but also have the occasional banter. Im a very private ,fastidious, laid back person. Im looking for a place where i will have space to work on my paintings as i am an artist.I cannot live with untidy individuals who donot clean up after themselves or who donot respect the space they reside within.I tend to do alot of the cleaning as i enjoy it. I am looking for a furnished room, and i also have other furniture,i would love it if it could be utilised or if not ,then space to store it in.I also am a night owl ,so would like housemates who are similar or who atleast dont mind.
hello, I'm Donny. Taiwanese and full-time student in here. I've been here for a years already, respectful and reliable person with the good-kindly heart. Mostly I'll be busy for school and work but enjoy the time for Netflix when I back home, and cooking after school and work. All my school and work are both in the city, so I decide to move into the city to saving more time for my own and rest. I just need a private room and flexible to share the others with flatmates, cheers.
Hi everyone! I’m from France, I work in the CBD as a crepe maker. I want to stay in Melbourne for the next 4-5 months. I want to find some flat mates to share a drink sometime at the weekend. I prefer to find a quiet place because I have lot of work to do and I finish my job very late so I need to have some rest.
I’m an easy going creative red head with a passion for wine, dumplings and learning new things. I’m looking for easy going housemates who want to hang but also want to do their own thing too! I don't have many requirements for housing as long as there is shared living spaces inside and out, is reasonably close to public transport and my housemates have no issues with people being in the house regularly/do not mind the occasional gathering of friends on the weekend. I am a fairly social person so am out a lot but also enjoy my downtime and would like for both my housemates and myself to feel comfortable with having people over with no issues whatsoever. The house I am living in now is like that and its great, but I also would like a change as well.
Hi! My name's Nick and I'm a 26 year old born and bred in Melbourne. I've just secured a job based in Burnley and looking to move to the area to be closer to work. A bit about myself, I grew up out in Berwick and studied at Monash where I got my business degree. I've been working full time for the last 3 years (with a little bit of travel thrown in!). I'd describe myself as a very easy going person, not a lot gets to me. I like my own space and downtime, but also always up for meeting new people and putting myself out there (working in recruitment, this is needed!). Absolutely love my sport (mostly footy and cricket) and it consumes a lot of my life outside of work. My week days are spent at work, with downtime in the evening and my weekends are mostly spent around whatever sport is on. So if it's summer I'll be at the MCG watching the cricket, and if it's winter I'll most likely be at Docklands watching the Mighty Saints! If there's anything else you would like to know, please don't hesitate in contacting me. Cheers
Hi there! I’m studying full time at Deakin University and working part time. I am a very easy going person and definitely easy to get along with. Also, I’d like to think of myself as a neat freak (you will never complain about mess with me)
A couple in our early twenties, quiet but social. Looking for a space to call ours but always happy to socialise with other roomates. We're both very open minded and hope to meet some interesting people. I (Ryan) work nights in Coburg and have a bit of an alternative sleep schedule but you can usually catch a glimpse of me in the mornings and evenings. Night owls or early risers would see more of me. We both try to stay fairly active; I do some rock-climbing and Sarah has her bike, but a lot of our free time will probably be spent at home.
I am currently studying a Masters degree at the University of Melbourne. Ideally, I would like to find somewhere within walking/cycling distance to uni, but if not, proximity to public transport will be important. My current lease ends in mid-January, and my actual move date can be flexible around that period of time. I am a fairly quiet person who takes my study seriously, but I would love to find a home where my housemates can also be my friends. I enjoy cooking and trying new plant-based recipes, and am always in need of a taste tester and someone to share my creations with. I am a responsible, tidy housemate, who has lived in sharehouses with a number of other people in the past. I do my best to be considerate to humans, animals and the planet, and would love to find people who share similar values.
We are a very quiet, clean and easygoing couple. We do not smoke , but a nice wine or beer on a hot day, is always good. We are not party people (but a nice dinner, a movie night or just talking about music, travelling etc, for sure we are interested in). We want to study while in Australia, and learn everything we can about the place :) We are excited to be coming to Melbourne!
Hey! I’m Alex! 🛸I’m super chill and down to earth-super easy to live/get along with! I love everyone! I love everything! 🚀I’m an artist, huge music nerd and studying youth work atmmmm 💫Cheers!
Hi! My name is Karina I am from Puerto Rico and I am 30 years old. My partner Max is French and 27 years old. We live in the Caribbean and have been traveling and working in Australia for a year. We are a very chill, clean couple who love good company and food! Also big animal lovers!! Coming back to Melbourne for work before the end of our year in Australia. We will both be working long hours. Especially my partner Max. He is an electrician (very useful!) working for a big event company. I work in cleaning services. We are looking for a place to share and relax. Our focus is work as we are leaving the country to continue traveling. We speak english, french and spanish. We would love to find some flat mates!! Cheers!
I am vivi, from France, 26 yo and I am looking for a warm place to stay few months in Melbourne. Easy going, talking, sharing, drinking, playing ukulele, singing... anyway I am LIVING and I prefer to share all of stuff with people :D
Hello Future Housemates! I am a 27 year old female (girl on the right of the photo) and I am moving down from Sydney to work full time at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. A bit about myself... I am a Doctor, hoping to specialise in Psychiatry. I am a vegetarian, avid skier and yogi :) I enjoy a glass or two of vino, the outdoors, socialising but also my down time with a good movie or podcast. I am clean, quiet and respectful of room mates. I don't have pets myself, but LOVE all animals. I am hoping to find a place for at least 9 months or longer
I am a married PhD student, looking for a place/room to live together with my wife. We are from Mexico, calmed and very tidy. We lived for two years in Germany a couple of months ago, therefore we are already familiar with sharing a flat. We are friendly and very respectful with our flat mates, things, space, and resting time. We like watching movies, working out, cooking, board games, wandering in nature, and relaxing at the beach. We think that sharing a place is the best option to live in Australia, because it gives you the opportunity to meet amazing people and it is also excellent for receiving tips from the locals, not to mention that it is cheaper. We are very excited about starting our life in Australia, which has always been our dream. We stated that our preferred length of stay is 6 months, but we are opened to other lengths.
Hey! We are a couple from London,UK. We have just returned to the city after 5 months regional work on a citrus farm in Mildura - which we actually absolutely loved! So have now gained our 2nd year visa to stay in Aus! We are a laid back couple that gets on with everyone, can talk about anything. Both of us are Vegan but are happy to live with non-vegans! Both into Art, music, travelling etc. Enjoy a midweek or weekend vino from time to time but enjoy a quiet night in just as much.If you have a pet that's a big plus for us!
I've just moved here from Malaysia. I was there completing my Foundation in Music and I'm heading to Canada late next year to continue my studies but I'm living here in Melbourne for the time being so I'm needing a place to stay for the next few months :) I'm super open minded and pretty laid back but still very responsible when I need to be. I travel loads and kind people are my kinda people
I just finished a PhD in chemistry at Stanford so I'm really good at baking (and will share). I like reading, rock climbing, biking, wine, and adore pets. I also play classical guitar and love gardening! I'm staying in Melbourne for the majority of my work-travel visa doing work with the Biochem industry, and am looking for a comfy place with some fun roommates that can teach me a bit about the city. I arrive January 10th.
